How do you report a post (actually there are 5 of them just the same):

I guess Apple Discussions server did not update properly lately because I still do not have the "report this post" link .....
Then someone else can report it instead.
So this ends up being a request more than a question....

Not necessarily. Do not assume anything in the post or the user profile is accurate. The perpetrator may be targeting someone by masquerading as him, or simply trying to get a nice list of Discussions users email addresses for those irate enough to reply to the one listed in the profile.
Like with all spam, the safest thing to do is report it if possible & otherwise ignore it. If this sort of thing becomes more common, the moderators may have to make changes either to staffing hours or to signup procedures or something, but it is their concern & not ours.

Hi,
You can get the field "Cost Center" on the selection screen, by selecting the " + " (All selections = Shift + F7) button.
In the report output, you will get the cost center as sorting field & the sum field. You can the details in the layout change, click the layout button in the right edge to get the option to change / select / save the layout.

Today I just noticed a link at the bottom of posts that says "report this post". I became level 2 two days ago, and am wondering if this is new to level 2 users, or if it is new to all users as of today (march 1st). I didn't notice this yesterday, but I have been known to miss things...

Yes, this ancient feature was disabled until last week, that's why you didn't notice it.
Also, I'm not sure it is available to Level 1 members.

What happens after "reporting a post"?

Hi everyone!
A 2nd user displays a couple of outbursts against the 1st user who is helping the OP. These outbursts are uncalled for and I realize I could report his post but I'm afraid the MODS might delete the whole thread, and the OP might still need help.
What actually happens after I report his post? Is it just his posts that gets deleted, or the whole thread? What's the procedure for something like this?
And I don't want to post the thread or name the user in question, if I can help it.

When a post is reported, the moderators will receive the notification and look at any comments added by the reporter. They will look at the reported post first and then at the entire thread. Depending on the post, it may be removed or edited. If a post is removed, all of the responses linked to that post are also removed. This is something that is considered when deciding to remove or editing a post or an entire thread.
When a post is removed, an email is sent to the user who posted the removed item. Informing them of the reasons for the action. Users who posted responses to that removed post will not be notified. This is why some users have seen their posts "disappear" without notice, they were branches from a removed post.
We walk the fine line between full, open exchange and keeping messages on topic. We appreciate your help to notify us of those posts that fall outside the lines.

"Report this Post" Messages Bounced to Email

The last two times I used the "Report this Post" link the messages bounced back to my email address from a third-party server. I don't know if the problem resulted from a misconfigured co-location server or Apple's mail server, or if it was the result of an iframe injection or other cross-site scripting attack. I sent several messages directly to Apple about this but have not received a response. Has anyone else experienced this?

I noticed last evening (MDT in U.S.) that a "report this post" link has begun to appear on threads.
(I'm "L3.")
Personally, I'd seldom used the function when 'twas granted in the previous edition of Apple Discussions. So, for clarity, I presume its intent is to facilitate communicating egregious instances of misbehavior that don't comply with the Use Agreement...?
Thanks to Apple folks for returning this function, which I'd read had been "in the works" for some time. Are there any other "new" functions that I missed — or anything similar on the "to-do" list?

Btw, I intermittently request that a Host "wrap" (or "fold," as you put it, Brian Z.) a post within a thread that's become difficult to read. Would that also be considered appropriate to "report this post," or would a stand-alone message be preferable
In my experience, the Hosts generally prefer that any issue that they need to decide upon is brought to their attention using the 'Report this post' link. That would include wraps and folds and other formatting issues; perceived violations of the ToU; posts that need to be moved; duplicate posts, etc. Use the "Optional Reason" field to draw their attention to the specific issue you are concerned with.

Which level acquires 'report a post' capability.

I'm just curious as I have read posts in the last couple of months where level 2 was mentioned by both a moderator and an Apple employee in this group as the required level.
However, I have also read on another post that it is level 3:

Unless it has been changed recently, my understanding is that Level 2 is required to see a "Report this post" link. You also need to be logged in. Here's an example of where it's located — click to enlarge:

The report this post button is for reporting inappropriate content or posts that violate the ToU (http://discussions.apple.com/help.jspa).
You are seeing this because you have reached level 2 on these forums (more info about levels in ToU documentation). You are now also able to post in the User tips library (http://discussions.apple.com/forum.jspa?forumID=599)

CP6 internal server reporting modifications - Post Results - Continue button

I have searched the forum for similar issues, and have posed one or two questions, but I am struggling to get a clear direction as to how to post quiz results to an internal server automatically (including user variables), without the name/email dialog screen appearing. In addtion, to CLOSE the browser, on the Quiz Results slide,I have tried multiple options with the continue button, including a javascript command of:
top.window.close();

But this did not work for me when I tried to enter the script into the quiz preferences area (can't directly edit the continue button on the quiz results slide).
I have already been posting practice results to my website using the standard INTERNAL SERVER reporting method.
BUT --- here is my wish list --- to modify the process
1. Capture user variables (First name, Last name, student ID and student number) and post them with the quiz results. I have a slide setup to to do this.
2. Post results AUTOMATICALLY to the internal server without showing the Quiz Results slide at all.
3. Have the quiz exit the browser completely once the quiz has been taken.
My quiz results slide has TWO renamed buttons: SEND EXAM (Post results) and EXIT (Continue). My preferences on either pass or fail are "Continue". I have even made the "score" tiny font, and invisible (black text on black background), so the reults page shows (and which I wish did not appear).
Perhaps only a LMS is the method to allow the above, but I may not have an LMS option --- hence, the internal server method..

I will investigate the google spreadsheet option as that may solve the first two issues.
Regarding the last item, EXITING the quiz (closing the browser) --- since the user gets to an ending slide that asks them if they are satisfied with their user variables entered at the start, perhaps I can program the javascript "exit" command on that slide, once the use varifies the data is correct? Currently, a "continue" button appears after user data is verified, and then the button advances to the RESULTS slide, so that the resuls can be posted, which invokes the standard name/email dialog.
If the widget posts the quz results to the google spreadsheet after the last question has bee answered, then I can either HIDE (skip) the results slide, or choose "don't show" (uncheck) the quiz results box in the preferences, and have the verification slide appear. Then, I just need to make the browser close from there (probably with a button).
I will experiment with this option.
I was also wondering if I can edit the PHP file that collects the quiz results to include the user variables?

Hi Praveen,
You mentined before you wanted to view depreciation simulation, for this RASIMU02 is the report to use.
However, if you want to see depreciation planned /and or posted you can use the Asset Balance RABEST_ALV01. If you click on the indicator "current book value" you will see the actually posted depreciation and current Netbook Value. Also in this report you can enter the Asset Class in the selection parameters.
Regarding viewing the note I forwarded to you previously: you can view it via the SAP Portal - http://help.sap.com/. If you go to SAP ERP tab, you will see on the right hand side pannel a link to SAP Notes. Here you can view any note.

The report to post Leave RPTARQPOST

Dear HR Guru,
We have schduled the report RPTARQPOST to post the approved leave request into SAP HR infotype 2001 .
This job is scheduled in frequency of 30 mins. we are facing a problem, currently it takes lot of time for execution . Is there any transaction other than this where we can check for errors are problem it is causing. I am aware of PTARQ transaction which is related to each employee, so we cannot use that.
I tried checking these tables PTREQ_HEADER, PTREQ_HEADER , PTREQ_ITEMS and PTREQ_ATTABSDATA. Its not that feasible to check also.
currently the job is scheduled withou display of log. when we tried with display log the job fails...
Let me have your suggestion on this.

Run RPTARQERR report to find requests errors (also you can approve/reject it from here).
You can stop and delete any request process (bad or not) with RPTARQDEL.

Report to post a parked invoices parked using transaction MIR7

Hi Experts,
I have a requirement of developing a report that will post the parked invoices, parked using the transaction MIR7. While posting I need to check whether the invoice amount is in par with PO price. If there is any price variance, I need to assign the increased price to a different G/L account.
I understand that I should use the Function Modules 'MRM_INVOICE_READ' and 'MRM_PARKED_INVOICE_POST'. But it is not working for me. Forget about assigning the PO variance to different G/L account, I am unable to even post a simple parked invoice using these function modules.
The invoice data, especially item data (ti drseg), is not sufficient to populate to 'MRMPARKED_INVOICE_POST'. Some one help me how to fill the internal table ti_drseg so as to pass it to function module 'MRM_PARKED_INVOICE_POST'.
Please provide me if any standard reports are available to post the parked invoices.
