Report and BAPI , Scheduling Problem
Hi Gurus,
I'm having a problem, I've a query/report that should be executed every 2 wed of the Month and A BAPI is associated to the query,and It's not working properly .it's developed by some other developer went to TCode RSCRM_BAPI,RSRTRACE,MDXTEST but it's of no use, My Question's is what's that trigger the event to run on 2 wed of every month.
Please,Help me .
I forgot to tell you that , the query will generate a file for 3rd Party processing

Differentiate between report and generated scheduled report - report list
How do I differentiate between a (.rpt) report and a (scheduled generated report) from this report (.rpt with data) when I list all the reports on the server.
I need this information because when I view the scheduled report, I do not need to set the parameters via the crystal viewer.

I am not sure why the scheduled report is saying si_instance=false.
So I scheduled the sample report - Drilldown and named the scheduled instance as "DrilldownInstance",
it created two info objects. One has SI_INSTANCE = true and the other has SI_INSTANCE = false!!!!!

Crystal Reports and Business One Problems
Hello all
Some questions about Crystal Reports and Business One, I try run some Crystal reports developed in special but for some reason when I ussing Terminal Services this unplug, so, more strange its when the user are not administrators because when are adminstrators this problem is not present.
Some tip its welcome.

I checked the privileges point to point, even as he opened like to administration, but no response as to assign regular users, that is strange.

When we are talking about user -there is two user --One is superuser and regular user
If you are super user , you have to give permission to other users to only crystal report and regular user doesn't need access to Administration module <referring he opened like to administration> .
BTW , Are you familiar with crystal report administration in SAP b1 ? You can find several thread poiting towards training material in the forum

Reporting Agent Job Scheduling problem
hi All,
I am trying to schedule reporting agent job. I have few pre calculated webtemplates in one reporting agent scheduling package. when i try to schedule it and go to "start condition" - I want to put "After Event". I am selecting Event and giving the parameter name. But when i save and go out the job is already scheduled (checked in sm37). so I tried to chk the job condition again and the event i selected is not there !!!!
I want to create after even condition and schedule that parameter via mainframe as our all job schedule through main frame only !!! can some one tell me why its not working with reporting agent ??

thank you for your reply. understood your point. but what i m asking is when i put "after event" criteria in the start selection... wouldnt it show that always when ever i go to Reporting Agent scheduling Package --> right click --> schedule --> start condition (i meant the event name and parameter should be saved there)
but once i save it and get out from the scheduling package i can see the job has been scheduled but its not showing that its even controlled job !!!
is it possible to use "after event" option in Reproting agent's job ?
I have few queries under one Reporting Agent scheduling package which is added in one process chain - the PC is running once a month - i added RA at the end of the process chain and the variant will be schedule by mainframe once the process chain has completed successfully. now 2nd thing is: i need to run Reporting Agent job every single day. so need to schedule it twice. we schedule everything by main frame. so if i can save "after event" criteria then i can schedule that parameter by mainframe. the problem is the start condition is not saving my after event condition entries or parameter names.

Win 7 Backup and Restore schedule problem

I have a strange problem with the above mentioned utility.
The problem is with the next scheduled backup. It is not tested if it going to work, but i seriously doubt it. Please help.

like you I had too exactly the same problem... next backup: 12/30/1899.
I believe it happened because I did something unexpected to windows 7:
1) I created a backup to test how it works.
2) I deleted the backup: with the backup program and phisically, deleting the backup folder "WindowsImageBackup" and all the file created.
3) I recreated the backup schedule (with the backup program) and after a reboot I noticed the next backup: 12/30/1899
Form me it worked the solution proposed by Arthur Xie.
2. Enter “Task Scheduler” in Start Search box.
3. Locate to Microsoft\Windows\WindowsBackup.
4. Delete the task “AutomaticBackup”.
5. Re-create the scheduled backup. <<< via backup program
I have the same errore opening Task manager: Task {0} does not exist.

Sharepoint 2013 and SSRS how to send reports on date schedule after dw load completes
Certainly with subscriptions we can generate a SSRS report on a schedule like say every Monday morning at 5 AM PT. My problem is I want to run those reports but I want to make sure the Datawarehouse completed its load first. Example if
for some reason the DW breaks at 4 AM and does not finish the load the Reports should not run. ONce the DW is finished then reports should run. The 5 AM is really a place holder for 1st attempt to send reports. It should keep trying until
it can send them or Tuesday comes around.
the only approach I can think of is via the DW with a job and stored procedure you could have it exec anything you want. Is it possible to exec the reporting services report from sql? Is there a way from within sharepoint?

According to your you want to fire the SQL Server Reporting Services after the Data Warehouse load data completed, right?
By default, when a subscription is created, a corresponding SQL Server agent job is created meanwhile. The SQL Server agent job has the same schedule with the shared schedule or report-specific schedule that is using by the subscription.
The corresponding SQL Server agent job calls stored procedure AddEvent to add an event in SSRS. Then the SSRS notification service fetches the event from SSRS database to deliver the subscription.
That, we can configure regular shared schedule or report-specific schedule based on the irregular schedule. So in your scenario, you can configure the job steps to fire the subscription after the Data Warehouse load data completed. For the details, please

Scheduled a webi report and set it send to EMAIL.
Our customer found when they scheduled a webi report and set it send to EMAIL, it will cost much more time than usual after they have their SIA restarts.
The first time it takes 4-5 times longer to receive a report in mailbox than next time onwards.
Please help.

If the schedule is taking 4-5 times longer to schedule following the SIA restart I suppose it is possible that the Webi Job Server and Webi Processing Servers are not fully registered with the CMS - can you check that.
Also can you test by ensuring that if there are any Webi Job Servers\Webi Processing Servers in the environment which are stopped\disabled, can you retest after deleting those servers. There is a bug with XI3.1:

Scheduled jobs often have a delay when the system is upgraded to BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 3.1 SP2 FP 2.2 or FP 2.3.This problem also happens when some of the servers required for scheduling are stopped and disabled. In this case, the Adaptive Job Server (AJS) tries to confirm if all available Webi Report Servers are running, and this causes the delay in running the scheduled jobs.
New Behavior:
This problem has been resolved.
Do you have a test system where you could install FP3.1 and check the fix?
The only "workaround" I could suggest would be to ensure that all services needed for the schedule are running\enabled (Adaptive Job Servers and Webi Processing Servers). This will stop the Adaptive Job Server from its continual querying for those servers. The adverse effect of this is that the more unnecessary services which are running will necessitate increased network communication.
To check if this is the actual issue you are hitting, you would need to trace the schedule and check for messages like this in the logs:
[2010-08-27 12:02:08,769] [TID:24] [ERROR] [webi.PublishingHelper.<init>():89]: unable to retrieve all mandatories servers to proceed this job
Alternatively, log a message with SAP Support for further investigation.

Is there a 100 column report limit and/or a problem editing dynamic reports

I have a report which is generated dynamically, the source being a PL/SQL function body returning SQL query. The on-screen output is generated using mod plsql, i.e. an html table.
If I run the report with parameters which return more than 100 columns, all are displayed on screen
However, if I click on the (standard functionality) 'export to csv' link at the bottom of the report, not all of the columns are exported.
If I navigate to the report definition page, firstly a pop-up error appears: "A Runtime Error has occurred. Do you wish to debug? Line 272 Error: ';' Expected". If I click 'no' then the report definition appears. There are 100 columns listed 'Col01', 'Col02', 'Col03' ... 'Col100'.
I can't edit anything on the page without getting an error when I apply changes:-

1. APEX can't handle more than 100 columns
2. APEX can't handle editing of the page once it has been created?
Does anyone have any good ideas/seen this before?
Could it be related to this Is it a bug (Form with more than 100 items/columns) ?
Is this a bug or an undocumented feature?

It created a 100 column report and I was able to manipulate the report the same as any other. So maybe it is not the fact that there are 100 columns. I know its not an answer to your question but maybe it can help.

When I download and install iTunes it looks it does it, but then it never starts, instead gives an error report and says iTunes encountered some problem and has to close

Scheduling Discoverer Report and distributing Discoverer Report Output
Hi,
We are using discoverer (Along with Oracle HCM R12) and would like the END USER to schedule the reports by themselves.
There is an option to schedule the report, and also an option to share it to chosen users/ responsibilities.
We scheduled one report and also set the sharing option to share with others but it seems the report executes but doesn't get sent out by email to the END USER's email id.
Any ideas / thought on this please?
NB: We are looking to distribute Discoverer Report Output from scheduled Discoverer reports...not looking to share the report with other users/ responsibilities.Hi,

BAPI to read and change schedule lines in APO
Hello experts,
We want to firm schedule lines inside the firm zone of the APO procurement scheduling agreements with a daily job. For this we are trying to use BAPI BAPI_POSRVAPS_GETLIST3 and BAPI_POSRVAPS_SAVEMULTI3. The getlist one does not return schedule lines, it returns purchase orders and purchase requisitions. Are these the right bapis to read and change schedule lines in APO? or is there anyother one we can use?

BAPI for updating Maintain Duration in Transportation and Delivery scheduling
Hi all,
Iam looking for a BAPI to update the Duration Times in Transportation and Delivery scheduling. I reluctant to use recording on SM30 Table maintenance T code and use it in LSMW. Is there a BAPI or Standard i/p Program to load these details. I have more than 200000 records to input.
A list of all BAPI's in Transportation Management module would be great as well.

@praveen: I tried the solution provided by you and it worked for me in this context. But it seems this BADI gets triggered every time the delivery is getting saved. So for my test purposes, I'm triggering this BADI in a program, but in actual scenario, the BADI would be called on every sy-ucomm = 'SICH_T' i.e. SAVE. hence, I can't separate my piece of code using this condition.
I'm trying to call my FM(update module in collective run mode) inside this BADI in backgrnd task as a separate unit but this doesn't seem to work.
Any more suggestions?

Please use the T-code "SE93" and then click on Display option after entering the T-code. After entering into the detail screen of the T-code, you shall find option to click on OBJECT LIST and then enter into the Function Group. Now enter the T-code and then click on function module and a list of function module will be displayed in referrence to the T-code.
For your easy reference i have also mentioned the flow.
SE93 --> Use tcode (eg. VA01) > display> Object list ---> Function Groups --> Tcode ---> Function module.
