Report by Storage Bin

Hello,
I uses the Inventory Module not WM. In the Material Master Record specifically at Plant Data / Storage 1 view, my client used the storage bin field to specify where the material will be storage.
I need to know if exists a report to display the Warehouse by storage bin.
I appreciate any help.

Dear,
As far as I know not possible.
We developed Z report for similar requirement.
This storage bin is only significant if you do not use SAP warehouse management. It appears on goods receipt/issue slips.

Check the table MLGT(Material Data for Each Storage Type).
MLGT-Matnr (material number)
MLGT-LGNUM (Warehouse Number / Warehouse Complex)
MLGT-LGTYP(Storage Type)
MLGT-LGPLA(Storage Bin).

MI21 Physical Inventory Report Sort by Storage Bin

Hi gurus.
I am working on INVENT, copied to ZINVENT SapScript and one of the requirements is to sort the report by Storage Bin. Currently the storage bins are fetched at print time item by item, not using an itab.
Is there any way to sort the items by Storage Bin (MABDR-LGPBE) in the code?

Hi Subas,
That's the problem, that field is not included in the items itab. This field is populated at item level, item per item when print form command is sent to SapScript. It is not stored in any itab.

Report for Material - Storage Location - Storage Bin

All SAP Gurus,
Is there any standard report available in which we can find out the storage bins for list of materials?
(We have not implimented Warehouse MAnagement)

You need to have Warehouse management in place in order to view the storage bins for materials,
MMBE of MM cannot give you the idea of storage bins.

Dear Guru
My client wants a report where in MF60 they will get the required quantity to be transferred from raw storage location to production location.They want a report in which the stock to be transferred from raw storage location is in which storage bin.
Is there any standard report for this

Hi,
You can also use this report : LS26 to get an overview display per material.
Or you can use LS03n per WM,storage stpe, storage bin to get history.

I need a report that contains the Material Document number and the Storage Bin. Anyone know of the transaction I can use. I did it a yr ago and it worked so I know it exist, just can't seem to find it again.

Storage bin Capacity utilization is greater than 100%

Hi,
Via LS03N, I can found that some capacity utilization is greater than 100%, this must be incorrect, what's the reason? is there any report to update the capacity utilization for storage bin?

For the capacity checks, the remaining capacities or the used weight in the storage bin master data are updated with every putaway or picking. If you change the inspection method in the current operations or you change capacity or weight data of materials or storage unit types, you then need to make a comparison of the data. You can make this comparison with report RLS10200. First read the documentation before you start the report.

T.code for viewing stock at storage bin

I have to develop a report where the client wants to track a FG (Batch managed) based on production order. One of the columns is storage bin as well. Is there a link to production order no and storage bins in SAP tables. Please suggest.

I went through the logic you provided. Also the requirement has changed a bit. The client wants to track all the material movements related to the orders (261 and 101) with bin numbers. The selection screen is going to be order numbers or material numbers and a date range. It will be either (order no + date range) or (material no + date range).
For order no within a date range, I am passing all the materials in MKPF and looking for material documents posted within this particular date range. Then I am going to MSEG with these material documents and looking for the entered order numbers.
Now, since the MSEG table is too big and the order number is not a key field, I find myself in a big performance issue. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Bapi to update Storage Bin

HIya Gurus,
                 I have got a requirement where the user is gonna change the Storage bin via a report. I have created the report with the input enabled field for the new storage Bin to be entered. Now i need to overwrite this new value in the database. I am trying to use CALL TRANSACTION via MM02 but the select views are differ for materials.
                Can any one help me out with any alternative like a BAPI or if there is a possibility to use Call transaction without the select views.

Storage bin history

I want a report where i will be able to display history of a storage bin, when a quantity added, removed, quantioty etc.
is there any standard ?
if no, which tables shall i use?

Hey,
Have a look at standard transactions:
LT26 for Transfer Orders INTO and OUT of a particular storage bin.
LX10 is a similar transaction that allows you to do this by Storage TYPE.
Storage Bin Table is LAGP but this will not record historical data.

Hi Hari,
MB52 Tcode is only for display stock in Inventory Management Level/ storage location level. If you want display stock in storage bin level, you can use t-code :
1. LX03   - Bin Status report
2. LS26   - Total Stock per Material (Warehouse Management)
3. LS24   - Bin Stock per Material
