Report data not shown

I have a report that previously worked fine.  It's relatively simple tied to a stored procedure with three grouping levels and a bunch of formula fields to generate summary calculations.  I changed the datasource recently and now the report shows blank.  I can run the stored procedure with the values listed in the Show SQL dialog box and I get data.  I can refresh the report, browse data and see the data in each field that I expect to see in the report.  The display remains blank no matter what I do.  I've removed all the groups and shown just details, verified the database, changed the datasource location to a fresh data connection, nothing works.  I can create a brand new report, attach to the stored procedure, group and drop in data and it works, but my old report refuses to show data.
I originally spent about a day creating this report so I'm hesitant to just start from scratch.  Has anyone else seen this and stumbled across a solution?

hi,
have u got any solution for this?
i am also facing exactly the same issue and i have spent almost a day doing R&D on this but no result.

  • Using SSRS Date Range- Data Not shown for date greater than by Analysis Services

    Hello Friends,
     I am using Date Range filters(Start and End Date) in my SSRS Report. The Problem is that if i am using the start date will be today, then the end date will be the future date by using Analysis Service as my Data Source, the report is not generated.
    I don't know why it happens? If I give the date range filters before the current date, then the report will shown.
    The problem is that the future date is not in my database. Could you please answer for this. I am struck in here,.
    Table contains : 1-7-14 ,
    2-7-14,
    3-7-14,
    If my Date Range will be 1st to 3 of 7th month, then the report shows the data.
    if my date starts with 1st of the 7th month and ends in the future, then the report will not shown the 2nd and 3rd records...
    Please teach me why?

  • Report Painter - data not shown at first selection

    Hello,
    we have a Report Painter report for cost centers.
    If we start the report with normal selection the values of the cost centers are not shown at the first look.
    The window on the right side only shows the sum for the whole cost center group, but if we select one single cost center the report shows
    "This report has no pages. Check the following layout settings: Threshold values, Summation levels, Zero line suppression."
    But there are values, but they are only shown if we switch to another cost center and then switch back.
    All rows that are selected the first time show no values, at the second time the values are there.
    Does anybody know the reason for this?
    Thank you & regards
    Britta

    Hello,
    starting the report with the selection of a cost center group.
    This group is shown on the left side, the values in sum of the right side.
    To have a detailled look on the single values of the cost centers I expand the cost center group by clicking on the small triangle, all included cost centers are now showns on the left side.
    To see the value of a cost center I click on the respective cost center, on the right side the "no data" information is shown.
    Clicking on the next cost center also the "no data" information is shown.
    Now switch back to the first cost center on the left side and then the values are shown on the right side.

  • Data not shown in output but was in XML(diagnostics)

    Hi Gurus,
    I have created a custom account analysis report for payables by editing the XLAAARPT.xml and XLAAAR01.rtf then saving both into a new file name. Then, i tried to run the custom report and it was completed normally but when i check for the output some data are not shown in it. I then click Diagnostics and View Xml button and found out that the missing data are present in the XML. had anyone experienced the same before? Please help!
    Thanks,
    Jayson

  • ARIAL FONT IN REPORTS(WINDOWS), NOT SHOWN CORRECTLY UNDER LINUX

    Our Reports are developed under Windows (Report Builder 9.0.4.0.33 and Windows 2000/Windows XP) and generated under Linux (IAS 10.1.2.0.2 with Red Hat Advanced Server). The Report Output is a PDF, that will be downloaded by the user with WEB.SHOW_DOCUMENT. This works fine, but fonts are not shown correctly in the PDF, especially ARIAL, which is the font we use.
    I have run the Fontsolution Configuration Script from Metalink, but we still have a problem.
    When you look at the font.pdf, wich is the testreport from fontsolutions, some sizes and styles of Arial are printed correctly others not.
    Arial 8 is ok, but Arial 10 and Arial 12 are something like Times New Roman.
    Arial 12 Bolded is correct, but Arial 12 italic and Arial 12 bold italic are also not
    the Arial Font.
    How can we correct this problem?
    Regards
    Udo

    # <Face>.<Size>.<Style>.<Weight>.<Width>.<CharSet>
    # The <Face> must be the name (string/identifier) of a font face. The
    # <Style>, <Weight>, <Width>, and <CharSet> may either be a numeric
    # value or a predefined identifier/string. For example, both US7ASCII
    # and 1 are valid <CharSet> values, and refer to the same character set.
    # The <Size> dimension must be an explicit size, in points.

    # Styles may be combined; you can use plus ("+") to delimit parts of a
    # style. For example,
    # Arial..Italic+Overstrike = Helvetica.12.Italic.Bold
    # are equivalent, and either one will map any Arial that has both Italic
    # and Overstrike styles to a 12-point, bold, italic Helvetica font.
    # All strings are case-insensitive in mapping. Font faces are likely to
    # be case-sensitive on lookup, depending on the platform and surface, so
    # care should be taken with names used on the right-hand side; but they
    # will be mapped case-insensitively.

    # helvetica..Italic... = "Ariali.ttf"

    # The fourth field is a long description of the printer. This will be

    If you want to make platform independent use of fonts, you have to use the family, such as sans serif.
    Arial is owned by monotype (http://monotype.com/). You have to contact them if you wish to redistribute it with your application. They also might have a suitable version that renders nicely under linux.

  • Data not shown properly

    Data entered and loaded, but it doesn't appear in the grid or data forms. In the cell history and data audit the data is shown as entered and loaded. Do you know this phenomenon.

    I would suggest you do a Data Extract, and see if any data is extracted. What this will also show you, is the POV.
    It is not uncommon that the POV is at Entity Currency Total or similar, and as you may not have run a consolidation yet, the view feels empty. Also, set up a grid, and check the status. You should see CN flag which would indicate data has 'changed', and requires a consolidation.

  • Data not  shown in my Crystal report

    Hi,
    I have created a price list using crystal reports. My database is an excel spreadsheet. Everything works excep that some codes do not show up for some reason? I have a colum that is Manyfacturer number, and certain codes that are on in my database are not reflected in my CR report?
    Can anyone help me?
    Thanks
    Vince

    Hi Vince,   Check to make sure the data is in Excel, also, if you have any joins at all, make sure they are the correct type.
    check to make sure your select statement is not filtering something,  I can give you a better answer, with a few more details.
    Say, the line the data is missing on, is the whole line missing? is it part of the detail section or a group? if you sort this
    data in excel, is there any missing data anywhere on the excel spreadsheet?   any way, for a better answer, we will need more details.

  • Hyperion Reporting Studio - data not shown in "Complete book to PDF"

    Hello All,
    We are using Version 11.1.2 with Planning and Essbase. We have created a book with 2 reports in it. When I run a report in the book to HTML I see data displayed in my statistical accounts but when I run the complete book to PDF the stat accounts are displayed as zeros. I can also retrieve the data using the Excel add-in. There are no error messages when running the book.
    Has anyone seen this previously?

  • Data not shown in smartform

    Hi All
    Firstly I'm sorry to post the question below wrong forumn, Second it is not the basic question as the General forum tell me,
    I want to print DMBTRNET,DMBTRGROS,DMBTRTDS in smart forms whereas these data calculated in SE38 as shown below,
    IF WA_BSEG-BSCHL = '31'.
       WA_BSEG1-DMBTRNET = WA_BSEG-DMBTR.
    ELSEIF WA_BSEG-BSCHL = '40'.
       WA_BSEG1-DMBTRGROS = WA_BSEG-DMBTR.
    ELSEIF WA_BSEG-BSCHL = '50'.
       WA_BSEG1-DMBTRTDS = WA_BSEG-DMBTR.
    ELSE.
       WA_BSEG1-DMBTROTHER = WA_BSEG-DMBTR.
    ENDIF.
    WA_BSEG1-BSCHL = WA_BSEG-BSCHL.
    If u identified that I m not suitable to asked any question in your forum then I am again sorry.
    Thanks And Regards
    sanjeev Goel

    Hi,
    If you are retrieving the above data in your print program (SE38), then you can use global variables and then pass those variables to smartform.
    While displaying these you will have to create text elements and pass the above variables here in text element.
    If you are not retrieving the above data in print program, then you can retrieve it in smartform as well using program lines and then pass the respective variables to respective text elements.
    Hope its clear to you.
    Thanks,
    Archana

  • Report did not shown by report_desformat=SPREADSHEET option

    Hello,
    I am using forms version: 10.1.2.0.2 and reports version: 10.1.2.0.2. I want to call report from form with desformat=SPREADSHEET. I also need to pass default where clause to report.
    I was using this code to show report:
    web.show_document ('/reports/rwservlet?swtxls&report=SWT_FI_001e.rep&paramform=yes&whre='||whre,'_blank');
    It was working fine as showing first parameter form and asking to save it or open it dialog.
    But now i want to do it by SSO mode as follows:
    if nvl(to_number(instr(:system.last_query,'WHERE')),0) = 0 then
    whre := null;
    else
    whre := replace (substr(:system.last_query, instr(:system.last_query,'WHERE')),'(','( trim(');
    whre := replace (replace (whre,'=',')='),'LIKE', ') LIKE' );
    whre := replace(replace (whre,'%','*'),' ','&');
    end if;
    -- whre gets the value as: WHERE&(&TRIM(COL_val)='ABC')
    IF NOT Id_Null(pl_id) THEN
    Destroy_Parameter_List( pl_id );
    END IF;
    pl_id := Create_Parameter_List('tmpdata');
    Add_Parameter (pl_id,'whre',TEXT_PARAMETER,whre);
    -- Find the id of the Reports Object in Forms
    RepId := find_report_object ('REP_FI_001E');
    set_report_object_property (RepId, report_destype,cache);
    set_report_object_property (RepId, report_desformat, 'SPREADSHEET');
    set_report_object_property (RepId, report_server, rep_srvr);
    set_report_object_property (RepId, Report_other, 'Paramform=yes');
    v_rep          := run_report_object (RepId, pl_id);
    Rep_status     := report_object_status (v_rep);
    while rep_status in ('RUNNING', 'OPENING_REPORT', 'ENQUEUED') loop
    rep_status := report_object_status(v_rep);
    end loop;
    if rep_status = 'FINISHED' then
    web.show_document ('/reports/rwservlet/getJobId' ||substr(v_rep, instr(v_rep,'_',-1)+1) || '?server='|| rep_srvr,'_blank');
    else
    set_alert_property('err',alert_message_text,'Error when running report: Rep_status= '||rep_status);
    al_button := show_alert ('err');
    end if;
    Report executing fine and i can see it in oracle_Home\reports\cache\ directory in html format. But i am not able to see on screen.
    Even if i mentioned DesName in "After Parametr Form" trigger in report as c:\data_output\abc.xls, i can't have this report in the mentioend directory.
    Can any one help. Will really appriciate.
    Thanks in advance
    Best Regards
    Kausar.

    set_report_object_property (RepId, report_destype,cache);You are creating the file in the cache. If you want a specific file (c:\data_output\abc.xls), use file as destype.

  • 1 of my 2 simple reports is not shown on Iphone

    Dear Experts,
    I have developed 2 simple reports for Iphone. One of them is shown properly and the other one is only displayed as a grey and blank site. There are no errormessages. The reports don't have any parameters. The preview in SAP BO works fine.
    You can guess my question. What is wrong with the second report? Thanks for any helpful answer.
    Regards Lars

    Dear Lars,
    What are the differences between two reports? You may check tables used, format used etc.
    Thanks,
    Gordon

  • Dsd tour data not shown...

    Hi All,
    I am working on MDSD. While polling my MI client shows a message: u201Cno Tour for deviceu201D .I have already assigned my device to a driver and a vehicle with necessary details in connector cockpit.
    I have following queries for the same:
    1.     Solution to this problem
    2.     Where I can create the tour in the back end or its same as Visit Plan?
    3.     Name of the table on middleware which shows the master data and tour data sent by the connector.
    Thanks
    Akhil

    Hi,
    well, I do not want to say NO, but.... You are not totally correct.
    In MAM - when you have NO backend setup, there is not Data for MAM090 and MAM095. so if these two are empty on the device, then you see only one menu item - SETTINGS - only when there is data for MAM090 and MAM095 on the device THEN you see the rest of the menus. So I think you have no data for DSD actually? Well, I think the result is similar.
    Regards,
    Oliver

  • Report portlet not shown in public page

    Hello,
    I created a sql based report in a database provider and published it as a portlet. I'd like to place the portlet in a public page so that users don't have to login to see the report content. However, when I tried to do so, the report content can only be seen by users who have logged in and belong to the groups which are granted view privilege. In the "Grant Access" tab of the report, there is no place to make it public accessible as in page access control. I under stand that I can grant view privilege to all users so that they can see the report content, but they still need to login. Is there a way to make the report be viewed without user login?
    Thanks.
    Yaxu

    Ok I figured out that I need to grant "execute" privilege to PUBLIC user.

    The problem is that the Crystal Report Viewer does not load after a few hours.
