Report Delivery

Is there any solution to send reports to a specific location in a remote machine?

Yes. You can do it with Delivers and the BIP API.

  • [Forum FAQ] How do I change default values shown in Report Delivery Options?

    Introduction
Some users want to change default values shown in Report Delivery Options when creating standard subscriptions. Someone might want to always Cc the report to a specified user without sending the report URL. So they want to display those default values display
automatically when creating standard subscriptions like below.
    Solution
To achieve this goal, please embed JavaScript code into the SubscriptionProperties.aspx file to change those default values (By default, the file’s location is: <Installation directory>\Reporting Services\ReportManager\Pages\SubcriptionProperties.aspx).
The example below will show how to set default values for “Cc” field and “Include Link” field.
Before coding, pleas find out the corresponding HTML tags of the two fields in the browser using IE Developer Tools.
Get “Cc” field with its corresponding HTML tag
Get “Include Link” field with its corresponding HTML tag
Embed such a code snippet at the end of the existing code within the SubcriptionProperties.aspx file
    <script runat="server">
protected void Page_Load(object sender, EventArgs e)
        Page.ClientScript.RegisterStartupScript(typeof(Page),"MyScript", "var cc = document.getElementById('CcEmailAddressesID');cc.value = '[email protected]';var IncludeLink = document.getElementById('ui_cbIncludeLink');IncludeLink.checked
    = false;",true);}
    </script>
Create a new subscription to check the default values shown in Report Delivery Options
    Applies to
    Reporting Services 2005
    Reporting Services 2008
    Reporting Services 2008 R2
    Reporting Services 2012
    Reporting Services 2014

    Thanks,
Is this a supported scenario, or does it use unsupported features?
For example, can we call exec [ReportServer].dbo.AddEvent @EventType='TimedSubscription', @EventData='b64ce7ec-d598-45cd-bbc2-ea202e0c129d'
    in a supported way?
    Thanks! Josh

  • Availability of Std Report Delivery Schedule Vs GR

    Dear Friends,
Request to find any standard report for delivery schedule vs GR .
    Regards,
    ASK

    Hi ASK,
SAP is quite poor on reports combining order info and GR info. As mentioned by Karthik, the best one is ME80FN. Here press the last button to the right and choose the view "del. schedule".
Unfortunately, this report only tells how much was received for the specific schedule line, no dates. Besides, in case of several schedule lines per PO item, the qty information in the report can be missleading. As a matter of fact, SAP will never allocate GR qty higher than the schedule line qty; instead it will put the remainder against the next schedule line.
A true order-GR report would show the list of schedule lines for an order item from table EKET and at the same time the list of GR's from the table EKBE. It is difficult to put them against each other, unless of course all your order items have only once schedule line.
Standard reports showing all schedule lines and all GR's (separately) for a PO item are ME2x with the scope of list ALLES.

For 8.3 Reports tab running report with Delivery-Type = Email does not work.

  • Troubleshooting of report delivery

    Hi Experts,
we would like to have some help with report troubleshooting. We have set up reporting and it works correctly for some reports/queries. Others generate a generic error when handed back to SCL. E.g. we can trace the request which is handed over from SP to SCL to ECC. In the ECC system the jobs that handle scheduling & execution terminate without error. The variant is created correctly. If we run the report/query with that variant in se38 on the backend its output contains data.
However, next thing is we get the following error in the SCL application log:
The SAP query BKT entry for the report  does not exist - Report output does not have data
Is there any way to find out what happened? Any other log we should look at?
    Regards
    Michael

  • Automated report delivery

    Hi
I hope someone can clarify me
In BW once we create reports, do we have option for the report to be delivered through email at a particular scheduled time. Is almost the same as in Process chains once a PC fails an email is triggered automatically to the concerned team.
    Thanks in Advance.

  • Report Delivery through mail

    Dear all,
Why a report delivered automatically through alert management system will display less number of rows if you compare with the query executed. i.e. the number of rows delivered in mail are far lesser than the actual query output. Any Idea why this happens?
    Your Response is much appreciated.
    Thanks

    Dear Gordon,
    thanks for the reply,
The XL reporter is sending the report as attachment, is it possible that the content of the report to be delivered as mail content instead of attachment. i.e. the data in the attached excel file should be delivered as mail content instead of attachemnt.  this scenario is useful for sales people always travelling and not using the computer but using the black berry to read the report data as mail content.
    thanks

  • Sales Analisys on Items report in Delivery

Incorrectly sales analysis report on Items in the context of Delivery Notes, if Delivery has a status - Closed.
    1. Add the document u2013 Delivery №1 with item/service type to the system.
2.We want to see the sales analysis report. Sales -> Sales reports -> sales analysis. Criteria for report: Delivery Notes and you can see customers, Items and Sales Employees reports.
The Items report, Sales Employees report and customers report have the same values.
    3.Closed the document "Delivery".
4.And if we see the Items report, then the report will show us a zero quantity.
How can I remove this error?
    Tnaks.

    Yes, i agree with Gordon.
YOu can try this SQL query.

  • Delivery quantity report

Dear All, As per our new requirement from business,They are asking report delivery quantity status report based on the date,Can you please advice how to calculate open delivery quantity based on date and total OBD quantity..

    Dear Ravi
I would like to add some more findings here.
Open Delivery: means Delivery done--need to go for billing.
Is it what you are asking for??
(confirm--there is always difference between client terminology and SAP terminology)
If so-- First you retrieve all delivery docs from LIPS table--then retrieve the status of Billing from VBUP table(FKSTA)...
So you can easily find the open delivery Qty(again reiterating Open delivery Qty means-the Qty for which delivery happened--but not billed)
Note: I want to add a little bit to Experts opinion here---if a material is having availability check of KP--will not be observed in VBBE.
Please find the answer Given By Our Lakshmipathi sir in thread--VBBE table Not Updated....
    Hope this helps.

  • HT2736 how do I report a problem with gift card delivery?

A gift certificate that should have been emailed was never received. in iTunes purchase history, there is a link to 'Report a Problem,' but this goes to the generic support page and i cannot find anywhere to report delivery problem. Please help.

Ask the recipient to check Mail rules and filtering, the verification mail may be going to a junk folder or even being deleted altogether.
Also see if you are able to resend the email by following these steps.
If the problem persists, select the content which is causing a problem and use the 'Report a problem' button in Your Purchase History using your computer. You need to report the specific item.

  • Sales Analysis on Item Delivery issue

    Hi Experts,
I have another Issue regarding Deliveries at the same Client I posted this message on a few minutes ago:
"Delivery Document not closed even though Invoice is linked"
This issue relates to the Sales Analysis Report. When we open the Sales Analysis report on the Items Tab and select Monthly report, Delivery Notes, Individual Display and No Totals we get the report with 0 quantities for all the months selected even though there is deliveries for these items.
    Any help will be appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Marli

    Hi Marli,
Something must be wrong within the B1 database.  You may need to restore the latest copy of the db to do more testing.
It might be a bug or human error.
    Thanks,
    Gordon

  • Delivery analysis / Looking for a BEx solution

    Hello everybody,
I'm looking for an easy solution within the BEx. I would like (if possible) to avoid touching the data model.
Here what I would like to achieve:
Description of my desired report: delivery analysis ( number (quantity) ofdeliveries with X positions ).
    Output should look like this:
number (quantity) ofdeliveries with X positions
    Country              X=1        X=2      X=3    X=4    X=5   X=6   X=7   X=8   X=9    X= more than 10
    FR                        1451   407   377 and so on
    ES                        177     40    24   and so on
    IT                          173     66    44   and so on
For me its quite tricky. In my Cube (Multiprovider) there should be all information included.
I have country, delivery (itself) , number of deliveries, number of delivery positions )
How can I do that. Maybe with new calculated figure and a condition. Any ideas?
    Hope to hear from you.
    Best regards Harry

Built the 4 1D arrays into a 2D array, the use write to spreadsheet file.
    steffi.kono wrote:
And, after that, how can I display only the second coulmn (e.g.) and time stamps in a waveform chart from this file? Or how can I say in LabVIEW: "display the last 30 values of column three over the time in a waveform chart"?
There is "array subset", which allows you to get any desired subset from an array. If yoyu want entire rows or colums, use "index array".
To display the last 30 values in a chart, just feed the data to a chart with the history size set to 30 elements. The rest will fall into place.
LabVIEW Champion . Do more with less code and in less time .

  • How Can we improve the report performance..?

    Hi exports,
I am learning the Business Objects XIR2, Please let me know How Can we improve the report performance..?
Please give the answer in detailed way.

First find out why your report is performing slowly. Then fix it.
That sounds silly, but there's really no single-path process for improving report performance. You might find issues with the report. With the network. With the universe. With the database. With the database design. With the query definition. With report variables. With the ETL. Once you figure out where the problem is, then you start fixing it. Fixing one problem may very well reveal another. I spent two years working on a project where we touched every single aspect of reporting (from data collection through ETL and all the way to report delivery) at some point or another.
I feel like your question is a bit broad (meaning too generic) to address as you have phrased it. Even some of the suggestions already given...
Array fetch size - this determines the number of rows fetched at a single pass. You really don't need to modify this unless your network is giving issues. I have seen folks suggest setting this to one (which results in a lot of network requests) or 500 (which results in fewer requests but they're much MUCH larger). Does either improve performance? They might, or they might make it worse. Without understanding how your network traffic is managed it's hard to say.
Shortcut joins? Sure, they can help, as long as they are appropriate. [Many times they are not.|http://www.dagira.com/2010/05/27/everything-about-shortcut-joins/]
And I could go on and on. The bottom line is that performance tuning doesn't typically fall into a "cookie cutter" approach. It would be better to have a specific question.
