Report filter in Pivot Chart neither showing nor updating on a mac

I have created a report in Excel for my company that has some pivot charts on one sheet. The pivot tables underlying these charts have report filters that work perfectly on a pc. However a colleague who is using a mac, cannot see the report filters in the
chart and even when a new filter is selected in the pivot tables themselves, the chart does not update. Has anyone experienced this?
According to http://www.annielytics.com/blog/excel-tips/excel-bug-in-pivot-charts-on-the-mac/ there is no fix for this, but I hope there is some way to make use of this basic and important functionality in some way.

Missing "Select Multiple Items" in Report Filter for Pivot Table in Excel Services

I have a Pivot Table with a Report Filter in Excel 2013.
When I click the Report Filter in Excel , I get the check-box option to "Select Multiple Items".
But , when the same Report.xls is published to SharePoint 2013 Excel Services,
the check-box-option is missing ! and the default is "Multi-select", and there is no way to disable or toggle Multi-select

But, it does not fix my issue :(
All my desktops are set at 100%.
All my List Items show as Check-boxes, ok.
The problem is: that check-box option "Select Multiple Items" , just above the OK button, is missing when I run the report in Excel Services.
So I have no way to toggle Select Single Items only.
But when I Open this same report in Excel, everything works well.
Is there any Fix for Excel Service /Sharepoint 2013.

IPod won't sync, neither music nor update

So i've got a 32GB iPod Touch 4g running 4.3.5 (8L1). Every time I try to update it on my computer, it won't work (laptop running OS X Lion and iTunes 10.5); It constantly tells me that my iPod is ineligible for the selected build. Additionally, every time I hit the sync button in iTunes while my iPod is connected, it doesn't sync music; there is the loading screen saying that it is determining the tracks to sync, but never actually syncs anything. Any help on this would be very much appreciated; I've tried many things, including:
- Restarting my computer
- Attempting to restore iPod (Won't work)
- Trying to put it into DFU mode (Can't seem to enter DFU mode,

I am getting an error "SQL Query Error Message : ORA00904: "LOC_ADDR"."GEO_PT_COOR_POLY": invald identifier" @ step 2 of 9 in Create Read only VO wizard.
Can i create a VO with SDO_NN?
If yes could some one please help how to fix trhis.

Error: Show Details cannot be executed when multiple items are selected in a report filter field or in a slicer

I have connected TABULAR Model to Excel, and in the pivot the filter is on multiple dimensions. When doing the drillthrough action it gives error - Error: Show Details cannot be executed when multiple items are selected in a report filter field or in a slicer
Is there any workaround to this error? so that drillthrough can be done even with multiple selection.

Hi Vikas,
The reason behind the error message requires the knowledge on what happens at the backend. When you perform a drill-through action, a query is sent to Analysis Services. This query is expressed in a query language called Multi-Dimensional Expression (MDX).
Since the MDX language doesnot support drill-through command against a set (collection of tuples) an error is persisted.
For now, there is no workaround as it is a limitation of the underlying language that is generating the query.
When multiple items are selected you lose the ability to drill-down on individual metrics. To resolve you must either:
1. Select a single Item.
2. Select all items.

Axis Field filter only appearing in Legend of Pivot Chart

I was referred here after posting the following on the Office Excel user forum (answers.microsoft.com) I hope I provide all you need, but of course I can provide further details if needed. I am on Windows 7 using Excel 2010.
Okay here goes! (thanks in advance for any direction you can provide)
I was creating a PivotChart where I wanted to be able to filter the chart based on the fields I dropped into the "Axis Fields (Categories)" areas section of my PivotTable. This was working fine until I added the filters as slicers, decided
I didn't like them, and deleted them. Now when I try to view the filter boxes, they will only appear as part of the legend. I do not want to show the legend as it has too many values. I would like to revert to the original behavior of showing the Axis Field
Buttons at the bottom of the chart, where they appeared originally (Without being associated with the chart legend).
Anyone know how to restore this behavior?
It works this way on other chart types, like line and bar. But it no longer works on the type of chart I wanted to use which is a Pie chart. I have opened new instances of Excel and tried to create a Pivot Chart Pie chart and get the same results:
the axis fields are associated with the chart legend, instead of being available independently.

I guess you may want to let the Pivot chart shows like the screenshot below:
If so, you need to add a new column(Equal to the field which you want to put into the AXIS field) to source data, then in the Pivot Table, put this field to the FILTERS .
This was working fine until I added the filters as slicers, decided I didn't like them, and deleted them
I don't think this operation you did would change any behavior. Perhaps you can upload this file to a file sharing site and then share the link with us.

How to rename a filter in a pivot chart

Hello,
I am trying to create a pivot chart that has filters. I add the fields for the filters to the report filters list. I would like to change the text displayed on the filter button like I can for the legend and values. The report filters section does not enable
the Value Field Settings dialog box like the other options do. I've looked in the toolbar to see if there is another way to change the text displayed, but can't find an option, so I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction.

Hi Tracy,
It seems the PivotChart report doesn't allow us to remane the filters name. One workaround is we can rename the column name what you want in the PowerPivot data model, and then add the filters to the PivotChart.

Is there any documentation from SAP BO that says "Report Filters don't display nulls."?
Report Filter as in by clicking the Show/Hide Report Filter in the Infoview toolbar.

Pivot chart vertical axis label show percentage

Hi All,
I have a pivot chart showing percentage of the row. the vertical axis label can only show 0, 1, 2; I change it to specify value with 'Minimum' 0 and 'Maximum' 1.
Wondering how to show vertical axis label with minimum 0% and maximum 100%, instead of 0 and 1.

Hi lets try once like this,
In Pivot table go to edit view-Position-Graph only-Edit graph properties-click on scale tab-Axis Limits-in drop down list select specify. Here u can select minimum and maximum scale.

Hello,
You can bind a slicer to one or more PivotTables and/or charts, but you cannot bind a Chart to a PivotTable to act as a slicer.

Charts not showing on report

I've had crystal reports running for some time on our dedicated Internet server. This has been working OK for the last 10 months.
I've added a new report which now uses charts however I'm having problems in that the chart does not get displayed. No red cross, just a blank white image with no chart.
I've reviewed many support forums and as a result have doubled checked all entries in my web.config and file permissions on temporary file locations. Everything seems OK...
I would point the blame at either something to do with the handlers surrounding CrystalImageHandler.aspx or file permissions, but what I don't understand is that embedded images within the report are working perfectly OK. It is just the chart which is not showing.
I double checked the image http location and both my embedded image and chart use the CrystalImageHandler.

Even tried these in new browser windows. The first address shows, the second just shows a blank image.

Any ideas to what might be wrong?
Im using Crystal Reports 2008 with .Net 3.5 (Visual Studio 2008) on IIS7 Windows 2008 Server.

generates the following windows error:

Make sure the binary is stored art the specified path or debug it to check for problems with the binary od dependent .DLL files.
The application has failed to start because its side-by side configuration is incorrect. Please see the application log for more detail.
Appliction log entry
Activation context generation failed for "c:\Program Files (x86)\Business Objects\BusinessObjects Enterprise 12.0\win32_x86\sscsdk80.dll". Dependent Assembly Microsoft.VC80.CRT,processorArchitecture="x86",publicKeyToken="1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b",type="win32",version="8.0.50727.4053" could not be found. Please use sxstrace.exe for detailed diagnosis.
I've run procmon and examined w3wp.exe on just processes and threads and everthing qappears to be OK, everything reports as SUCCESS. I've uploaded the output here:

Excel 2010 Pivot Chart

On my pivot chart, the field filters at the top of the chart do not show the field value that it was filtered on. We filter on Customer. I am clicked into the chart and I select the analyze tab, on the field button drop down, the "show legend
field buttons" option is not enabled.

How can I display a family name (that we have filtered on) on the chart itself, please?
