How to create crystal report for fixed assets

Hi,
I am beginner to SAP B1. I have to create crystal report on fixed assets. for the following fields I have to get data.
Fixed Asset,
Cost of Fixed asset,
Disposal of fixed asset
Scrap of fixed asset
Additional cost on fixed asset
Fixed asset cost after additional cost
Rate of fixed asset –Depreciation item cost - Percentage
Depreciation of fixed asset on item cost
write-up cost on fixed asset –write-up
Rate of fixed asset-Depreciation on write-up cost --percentage
Depreciation of fixed asset on write -up cost
Net Book value of fixed asset.
your help here is appreciated.

Hi,
Actually they are not going to standard reports as Revaluation amount we are creating User defined fields and that needs to be fetched to the report. As well they want original cost, depreciation original cost, Revaluation amount and depreciation on revaluation separately..
As per my understand system will provide one cost and the depreciation on that.
So, can somebody help me in guiding me..

Hi Irina,
I've never seen documentation on the table structure for Fixed Assets so you might have to do your own detective work to establish the tables you need. The tables will all have the same prefix. You should see the title of each table listed under Tools--User Tables which will give you an idea of what type of data is stored in each table. After that, it's going to be a case of using System Information, Enterprise Manager and SQL Profiler, where appropriate, to understand how the data is stored.

Report for public access

Hello there,
I would like to create reports based on specific projects. But when I open the template within PWA, it doesn't show my lready published projects. Why not?
Further I'd like to make the reports available for public, but it seems that I am restricted to the users that are registred in my o365 domain. Wouldn't it be easier to share reports for public? Or do my users even have to have an project account to view
those files?

Yes, I agree that it is difficult to convince the organization on the licensing part, but i believe it is the same model for SAP or any other enterprise system. My understanding is that, as long as the report is not "automatic", and is manually
genarted and displayed, users will not need a license to view the data. As I mentioned, you might want to discuss the options with your local Microsoft Rep., as, I am not a MS Product Licensing Expert.
As far as building the report, please take a look at Paul Mather's blog: https://pwmather.wordpress.com/. He has several nice posts about BI. Once the report is built, I would think it would be just a metter of displaying it on the BI Site and then
sharing it with appropritely licensed part of the org,

Fixed Deposits Investment in 10 banks. Shall we assign 10 GL Accounts 10 Banks or Single GL account is fulfill the requirement.
If Single GL account is fulfill the requirement, How to get Reports?

I guess it should be sufficient to have just 1 G/L account for the position of fixed-term deposits, as you can use the standard report TPM12 to report over outstanding position per different Business partner, which is equal to different bank you deal with on a specific date. the advantage of this report is that you can even report over periods, which are in the future, therefore no data is transferred to accounting yet.

Dynamic reports for different access levels

 I want to create a report using Hyperion Report which will showthe data dynamically.I have certain hierarchy in my dimesions and there are differentusers associated with different hierarchy levels.E.g. Person1 can access only Level 0 data. Person 2 can accesslevel 1 and level 0 data. Person3 can access level 2, level 1 andlevel 0 data. Basically any user can access data of all itsdescendants. All this needs to be done using same report becuase they areviewing same kind of reports , but just the different levels ofdata. Please guide me, how to implement this using Hyperion Reports.It would be a great help. Thank you.

Well, here's the way it may work for a compiled .CHM setup.
If you are using compiled .CHM files, I'm guessing your software is
modular. Meaning that at the time it is installed, the user has
options of choosing between the following modules:
Module 1
Module 2 - 9
Module 10
In this setup, you would create help that is generic that all
modules would need. That one would be the Master. Then you would
create separate projects for the remaining modules. You would then
provide it all to the person that handles the installation program
for your application. That person would then handle configuring the
installer application so that only help for the actually installed
modules is installed. If a module has been excluded, help is not
installed for that module and doesn't appear and is not available
to the user.
Hopefully that makes sense to you. If not, ping back and I or
someone else will take a stab at another explanation.

Are there any examples of queres or reports for the Access DB TS can generate?

I am currently useing the default TestStand SPC database storage routine to store the results of all runs. Are there any tools, queries, reports, etc. to help me post process this database? I thought I would check here before making something myself. Mainly looking for something that will do a scatter plot for a certian test so I can see where all the data is falling within the limits.

Currently NI does not have any post processing tools to assist you in formating the result information specifically for TestStand databases. Obviously using LabVIEW or LW/CVI or some other programming language you could write your own program to do such post processing.

Crystal Reports for Visual Studio Service Pack 1 didn't fix my issue

I have been working for some time on a web application project which is using Crystal Reports for some of its reporting features. I installed Service Pack 1 on the server but it failed to resolve the following issue:

Description: Using the Crystal Report Webform Viewer to search for a string that exists on the current page of a report does not return the correct result.
I installed the same service pack on my development machine and it DID fix the problem. I cannot understand the reason why. I was oping someone may have had experience with this and may know why it isn't working or, more importantly, how to fix it. Please help!

Not a problem. Essentially, we have two choices since it looks like the SP you ran on the server did not update the runtime. So, we can determine the dlls that are different by using the modules utility and replace the old dlls (not my prefered way) or create a new deployment project using the patched merge modules (way prefered). Since you are using CR 9.1(?) that bundles with .NET 2003, the application was deployed to the server. Somehow, the correct CR runtime had to also have been deployed. Since CR 9.1 does not have an MSI file, you have to create your own deployment project (either an setup.exe or an MSI) using the CR 9.1 merge modules. All of this assumes that your development computer and the web server do indeed have the same application (version and all. e.g.; if the app on the server uses CR 10, the patch for CR 9.1 will do nothing for you). The merge modules for CR 9.1 can be downloaded from here:

Same here on an older iMac since Lion. Thanks for the uncheck wake for network access tip though, it doesn't do it either in that case, I will leave it that way.

Accessing test.jsp page outside Crystal Reports for Eclipse

 Hello All,Iam very very new to Crystal Reports for Eclipse...I have created a .jsp called as test.jsp (by using the help file which i downloaded from diamond)..I have created a report called CrystalReport1.rpt and i have integreatd the same with a .jsp called test.jspI can see the file running absoultely fine in Eclipse but when I ty to open using Internet explorer by gidving <a href="http://localhost:8080/WebContent/test.jsp">http://localhost:8080/WebContent/test.jsp</a> iam getting nothing...Can anyone here help to open the same file using Internet explorer?The reason why i want to open it Internet explorer is becasuse i wanted to integreat the new jsp file with my current application which is developed using jsp...Is it require to deploy the application something like we do in Visual Studio?Thanks in advanceJack
