  • Need help with printing graphic full size in trial CS5

I'm using the trial version of photoshop CS5 and am having trouble printing.
My graphic size is 9.4" x 6.3". However, when I print, it comes out as a tiny thumbnail, about 1.25".
How do I get it to print the full size?

The height, width, and resolution are all linked, so change one to get the others.  You may not get the exact dimension for both height and width unless you crop, or distort image.
PPI is pixels per inch which is not important for printing, you are more concerned by the printer setting for dpi or dots per inch.

  • Shipping customized BOL report needs to be printed from 'Print BOL' button

    Hi All,
    We have requirement whereby
Our customized Bill of Lading (BOL) report should be printed when ‘Print BOL’ button is clicked on shipping transaction form. Can this be achieved with any setup change? (we would like to check this option before going for customization)
Our customized BOL report is ready and as of now we print it by manually submitting concurrent request. As of now clicking ‘Print BOL’ button submits Oracle seeded/standard BOL report.

  • Report grouped by month, need months with no data to appear.

In my report, I have the data grouped on a formula field that concatenates month and year, so all of my months are returned in order with summary data for the months in headder along with the group name. The details are supressed.
    I have two issues.
    1) I need the headders to show up for all months, even months with no data. I've had a similar issue in the past, which I've worked around, but I was grouping based on a finite ordinal set that existed in my database. I simply let in a little more data than I needed, and supressed the extra rows. This isn't going to work here.
    2) I need the zeroed data points to appear in a graph. Right now, the graph just ignores months that don't exist in the dataset, and as a result the time scale isn't an accurate representation of the actual data trend. ie: if Jan was 13, Feb was 0, and March was 13, on the graph, the line is continuous from 13 to 14. For a user who isn't paying attention to the axis would miss that there is actually a zero in there.

  • When send the report directly to the printer from Oracle IDS 9i

    Hi.....
I m using Oracle IDS 9i, Oracle AS 9i and Database 9i for my new project. But i m facing a problem when i m trying to show a report from oracle IDS 9i.When i send the report directly to the printer without showing it,then the printer connected to the application server is working. But the printer connected to with PC(From where a send the command) is not working but printer connected with AS is working, but not that one which one i m wanting.....Why this problem is happening? Can anyone help me?
    KSI

Note:It is always better to have network based printers rather then PC shared printers. What that means is your printer is not connected to a PC. It has a direct connection to the network via NIC. You would then setup the printer on your AS in the printers setup. If the AS is rebooted you do not need to authenticate the printer shares again with a network based printer.
If I understand you correctly, you have a printer connected to your AS(application server) and a printer connected to your PC. You can submit a report direct to the printer connected to the AS but cannot send a report direct to your printer connected to your PC.
From the symptoms you described, the problem is usually associated with the AS not being able to see the printer shared on your PC. You either have the address to your printer address defined wrong or your AS is trying to direct a job to your printer but doesn't have rights to do it.
First, Try to print a notepad job to your printer attached to your PC from the AS. This will tell you if you have access to do so or not.
    - If it can't, you need to figure out why? This has nothing to do with oracle.
Second, thing to check is your Oracle "Report Queue Manager" on the AS. Make sure that you can submit a report manually from the Report Queue Manager. If it fails the "Report Queue Manager" will give you useful errors as to why it failed. This will help you isolate the problem.
Third, Once you can submit a job from the reports queue manager manually to your shared printer you should be able to submit from your application direct. If it still does not work your address to the printer is incorrect. Try submitting manually through the reports queue manager again. When selecting printer you will be given a list of accessible printers from the AS. Select the one connected to your PC. Once selected the full network address will appear. Copy and use this as the printer location in your job submission through your application.
That's it... Where using this right now and it works great. Hope this helps.
    Eric.

  • Officejet Pro 8620 won't print the "full pasted image"contained in a Word 2007 document

Just upgraded and installed for Officejet Pro 8620. Running with Windows 7, 64bitWhen printing a page that includes a image that was copy/ paste, using the snipping tool into the word document,  it does not print the "full image".  In print Preview the full image appears, but when it prints about 15% of the bottom edge and the right edge of the image is omitted.  This was not a problem when printing from the Office jet 8600.   It is not a problem of page width or length because text is printing just fine.We removed all prior printing software, and re-installed the new printing software, disabled the printer firewall, and problem still occurs. Please advise what other information is needed.  Thanks.

I'm trying to make a time sheet and include a grid, but I'm having a hard time figuring out how to print a full grid on my spreadsheet.  There are options for shaded grids but I want a defined grid, and I have spent the last 2 hours looking for the answer.  Any ideas?

    Hi Cynthia,
Are you planning to have this table do any of the calculation, or is is to be used as the electronic equivalent of a sheet of paper with a grid printed on it—a place to record the data.
    For your seven column table:
Are you using one or more rows at the top of the table to label the data below? If so, you might want this row (or these rows) to be set as Header Rows.
Are you using the leftmost column to label the rows? If so, you may want this column to be a Header column.
The default table supplied on the "Blank" templates contains one header row and one header column. If you need more (or fewer) Header rows or columns, select the table, then go Table (menu) > Header Rows > (choose the number you need). Repeat to set the number of Header Columns.
To make a seven column table from the table supplied by default, click on any cell in column H (The eighth column), and drag right to add more cells to the selection, until you get to the last column of the table. With these cells selected, Go Table > Delete Columns.
To make the remaining seven columns fit across a single page:
Go View > Show Print View to show the table as it would appear when printed to paper.
Select the table by clicking its icon in the Sheets List to the left (easy method), OR by carefully clicking on the outside boundary of the table itself (fiddley method).
With the table selected, you will see square white handles at each corner and at the middle of each side (including the top and bottom).
With the mouse, grab the handle in the middle of the right side of the table and drag right (or left) until the table just fits onto the width of the defined page.
With the table still selected, set the thickness and colour of the cell boundaries using the Gaphics Inspector (as described by Jerry), or using the Stroke, Thickness and Color Well controls in the Format bar above the working portion of the Window.
    Regards,
    Barry

  • Print crystal report to a specific printer tray

    Greetings -
I need to print out a report to a specific printer tray, can you please let me know how I set it up?
    Thanks,
    Lava

    Hi Lava,
According to what I can understand you would like to print the Crystal Report to a specific printer.
In order to print the crystal report to a particular tray of a printer you need to set the printer from the Crystal Reports application.
This can be done from u201CFileu201Dmenu->Print. Select the printer if it is already added else you can add anew printer.
    I hope this helps you.
    Regards,
    Prashant.

  • Display Report Title line in Printer Queue Again

    Post Author: ShowMeTheName
    CA Forum: General
    Hello, this is my question:
How can I get our Crystal Reports XI printed from our VB application to show again the line u201CCrystal Reports + The Report Titleu201D in the printer queue?
We first started generating reports with Visual Studio 2003 and Crystal Reports for VB.Net.  Months later, we upgraded to Crystal Reports XI Developers Edition.
When we built our application in VB and CR for VB.Net (v.9?) and printed reports from it, they showed the Crystal Reports line with the report title in the printer spooler.  Now that we upgraded to CR XI DE and compiled our program, the reports only show the line u2018Documentu2019 in the printer spooler.  The report title is gone.
Does anyone know how to get that report title back?  If we open a report in the Crystal Reports program and we print it from there, we do get that line u201CCrystal Reports u201C and the Report Title in the printer spooler.  However, when we print the same reports from our VB application (and whatever upgrades installed by CR XI), the report title is replaced by a very annoying u2018documentu2019 word.
We need the report title to show in the printer queue to distinguish our reports.
In our VB app, we open the reports as a new ReportDocument and then we print them with the PrintToPrinter code.
Has anyone else had the same problem? Do you guys think that if we replaced the new report references with the original version will do the trick?
We donu2019t want to change or eliminate the u201CCrystal Reportsu201D words because I know we canu2019t. What we want is that line back so it can show the report title.  I certainly like that line better than the u201Cdocumentu201D one we get now.
    Thanks for your help!
