I am unable to get the report in MCIZ. I did the following configuration settings please find it and correct me if i did any thing wrong or any thing missed out. I searched in forum but i could not able to under stand.

I got the solution for my issue. I am not done the correct settings of Configure measurement document update. I did the wrong assignment of "Measurement Position" against the "Reference Indicator (Key Figure to be updated). thanks a lot for your cooperation.

Reports not getting generated

Dear All,
I know this is a repeat query but im unable to find information from the blogpost http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-41109.
I have earlier configured the WWI setup in a linux server. Now I am testing it on a windows server. I have made all the configurations in word and for generation server. The issue is, the report is not getting generated in report management screen and is in status Generation possible always.
When i check the wwi monitor, the doc type SBR is getting released but not getting completed. Please see the screenshot. CGSADM is working fine, RFC is working fine. I tried creating documents in CV01N and they are getting created. The DCOM settings are also good and activated the permissions there too. The DMS settings are set as per the SAP notes. However The job i scheduled is in status Finished for document generation. But when I try to generate the report, the report is created using a variant and the status of the report is in generation possible always. I checked the variant of the report and the validity is in REG_WORLD. I understand that there is some issue in the scheduled job.
I have scheduled only one job for Document Generation as follows.
a)Enter the job name - DOC GENERATION and choose a job class - A.
d) Choose Start condition and in the dialog box, choose After event.
e) Enter SAP_SYSTEM_START in the event field.
f) Activate Periodic job - HOURLY
g) Choose Check and save your entries.
h) Choose Step and choose ABAP program in the dialog box that appears.
i) Enter RC1WWIDS as the ABAP program name.
j) Choose Check and save your entries.
k) Before you leave the Define Background Job screen, you must save your entries once more.
Result: The job is started whenever the SAP system is started.
aFTER REPEATED ATTEMPTS, THE RESULT IS THE SAME AND NO CHANGE IN STATUS OF THE REPORT.
Kindly suggest what step am i missing . I have been through all the blogs in SCN. My old blogs are however missing and hence I am not able to access them.
I am using SAP GUI 7.30, ECC6 and EHP 5.

Please help me to understand your system landscape.
a.) Did you have had a SAP EHS up and running together with a "linux server" based WWI version
and
b.) now you are switching the same SAP system to a "windows server" based version?
I am not sure about your screenshots. But you seem to have more than one gen server attached to the same system; did you updated as well WWI?
So no adaption of general SAP set up (like DMS etc.)?
Therefore any job scheduled (before afterwards) is done using a SAP account having the necessary access rights?
Can you please check this:
1.) create several sessions; one with WWi monitor and one with CG02; try to generate a different report for the same spec id (e.g. not MSDSUS in EN, but MSDS/FR) and check progress in WWI monitor as well as CG50
2.) select in CG50 the report in status "generation possible"; mark it and try to "go" on ; check access rights afterwards (su53)
I hate this status "generation possible". I believe you need to use "debug replace" to remove that entry; I can not remember any more but that was the only option to get "rid" of this entry
Please read WWI cookbook, There is a set up possible in such a way that any action on WWI server is "logged"; may be try to analyze the log file to get idea why there is no progress regarding the generation
PS: the problem you have detected is not related to the "validity area". It is a matter of communication issue between SAP and WWI server and the WWI process can not be finalized.
But you are not alone with your problem (e.g. check:

EWA report not getting

Dear Experts,
        I am facing an issue regarding EWA report after application of ST-PI patch 6 of (2005_1_700)
        and ST-A/PI (01K_ECC600).After applying these patches when i send session_data for EWA
        report to SDCC_OSS.It is not getting generated.
                                                 Before this it was working fine.Do i need to perform additional
activity for the same?

XL Reporter problem -Reports not getting generated

The XL Reporter add-on does not display any data.
The add-on is connected properly and no errors shows up in the report. I have tried refreshing the temp folder files and the add-on registration files, but still the problem exists.
Also in one of the clients, MS OFFICE was upgraded, and during XL report generation, it displays COM Add-in could not be enabled. I have followed the instructions as per the notes for adding the "xlreporter.dll" executable and also set the security to LOW. But the add-on does not get loaded.
Version Info : SAP 2005 B, PL 42
Please help me solve these issues.

Having read through the replies and your answers regarding your problem with the report it seems to me that you may have some user defined field(s) in your report(s). If that is indeed the case then you need to have a look whether they are still visible to XL Reporter (Tools>User Defined Fields). My experience is that even though the udf's may be ticked in that screen you sometimes have to untick them and then retick again. Unfortunately that causes XLR to rename the fields by adding a number to them - so if the field name was 'UDelivery' it may be 'U_Delivery_0' now. You need to change the field names in your reports accordingly.
Even upgrading or restoring a database causes this problem with UDF's.

XL Reporter not getting any data

When I am using XL Composer and generating report using it, I am getting data what the fields I have dragged. Not getting any data when generating same report in organizer from composer except the Title field names. Before I got but now I am not getting.
STEPS Taken
 XL Reporter Composer Tool bar
 Generate
 Generate(Window)(Name: given Sample & checked Generate report then ok)
And having another problem when generating sample reports I am getting data and when editing that report are preparing new with some fields, I am not getting any data.
Example: I have made Edit of Bank Book and placed extra field Document No, saved the report and generated I am not getting any data except titled fields.
 In new report I have taken BP Code and sales Employee I am not getting any data.
Please Can any one help me, It is urgent.

If you did not select any "total" field (quantities, totals, etc), XL Reporter will show data only at report composer. It will not work at final XL Report itself.
This is a normal behaviour of XL Reporter, unfortunetaly.
If you are trying to create a simple list of records, I suggest to use Query Generator, combined to PLD in order to get a formatted report.

Reports not getting printed

My reports are not getting printed on Laser printer.I am using psl132.prt file in desformat. After giving the print command, printer showing message "Processing Job" for 5 sec and after that it is showing "Data Received" and "Ready " message. My reports are character mode. Some of my reports are getting printed using the same prt file.

psl132.prt is postscript landscape - you need different .prt file, or change your report to bitmap.

Reports not getting posted after webserver bounce.

Hi Gurus,
The reports are not getting posted after the webserver bounce occurred. This is the same webserver on which report repository is located.
However if we boot this webserver first and run a report, then it gets posted. And then after all the other webservers are booted, then the issue does not occur.

Report not getting the correct parameter

I use Oracle 9i DS (patch 9.0.2.2). i pass the RDF name and the params on the command line to the rwclient.exe to run the report. Whenever I pass something like VVG='(1,2,3,4)', the report RDF gets the value as '1'. The report gets executed with this value. i have searched the net and help sites and files. please help me in solving my problem.

I am able to successfully pass the string '(1,2,3,4)' as the value of a text parameter in my report, using the following commandline on Windows 2000:
rwclient report=test.rdf destype=file desformat=pdf desname=test.pdf server=srivas testparam=(1,2,3,4)
Reports correctly interprets the parameter as it has been specified, even if quoted with single/double quotes. Please provide more information on the problem you are facing, and the platform you are running Reports on. Also, verify whether your problem is reproducing with the Reports Runtime (rwrun) also.

ALV Report not getting displayed in Background

I am using Object Oriented approach of ALV to display the Report, in foreground it works fine but in background I don't get the Report.
I am using the below piece of code but doesn't seems to be working well.

I was about to say this...
If that is the case u don hav to design a custom control in ur screen, instead use ur screen as a
dummy container which will work well in fore/back ground

But u got the answer in previous post : )..
For ur second question:
goto SP01->give spool no->exec->select the spool no(check)-> press shift+F4...

Pdf reports not getting generated

Hello All,
We are having an issue in generating the pdf reports.. we are getting errors as mentioned below
REP-0069: Internal error
REP-57054: In-process job terminated:Terminated with error:
We went through the below mentioned note as well :
REP-0069, REP-57054, REP-3000 in R12
Our's is a multi tier Oracle E-Business suite setup with multiple nodes as mentioned below:
a , b -- Web and forms
c, d -- Concurrent tier nodes
e, f -- Database tier nodes
In the $APPL_TOP we did the below command to see what is setting for the DISPLAY environment variable.
grep DISPLAY *.env
it gave the results as mentioned below :
instancename_a.env : export DISPLAY=a:311.0
instancename_b.env : export DISPLAY=b:311.0
instancename_c.env: export DISPLAY=c:311.0
instancename_d.env: export DISPLAY=d:311.0
Could someone please advise and help us regards this as to what all needs to be checked and verified for a multiple node instance ..we are not able to get which is that environment setting which is incorrect or missing which is causing these seeded report related error messages.

Trading Partner Summary Report not getting genrated in PDF

Hi all
We are running EBS r12 on solaris 5.10 machine.
Problem is there is a report called "Trading Partner Summary Report"
it is getting completed successfully but when i try to c the output it says
File does not begin with '%PDF-',

Oops alv report not getting displayed

Hi experts,
I have REQUIREMENT WHERE I NEED TO DISPLAY THREE REPORTS USING ALAV OOPS.
I have maintained a FM to call alv rport.
,I have two validations to make at to different location in report. The report needs to be displayed only after I perform two different validations.
Issue is
I call this ALV reprt Fm once at : AT SELECTION SCREEN OUTPUT
and second time at : START OF SELECTION...
Now I can see the ALV report ( oops with three reports in one container) very well when i call it from : AT SECETION SCREEN OUTPUT( Here I perform one of teh two validations which I have mentioned above...The validation performed here is of Selction screen valiudation).
ButNow when I perform another validation at START OF SELECTIOn...here I cannot see the ALV report...TEH screen appearing is blank...
I am calling teh SAME OOPS ALV Function Module from both the locations...( START of SEL and AT selc O/p)..
I have debugged teh code and checked teh feidcatalogue genration as well s output table .and also structure
parameteers .. all of tehm are getting populated in both the cases ,,, but dont know why thye output doesnot appear in th last call..
please help ., I am stuck up...

Hi Kshitija T,
START-OF-SELECTION is processed in PAI of selection screen - as soon as all processing is done, the program flow will return, initialize your program an all of it's objects and display the selection screen again.
I solved this by disabling the default report status EXECUTE button and used AT-SELECTION-SCREEN events.

Just saw this in an oracle note regarding the mmon process suspending message (this might be due to our DB's heavy usage)
ORA-12751 cpu time or run time policy violation [ID 761298.1]
If the system is so over-loaded that it takes over 15 minutes to gather statistics or other MMON tasks, this error is expected.It is a functionality enhancement in 11g, as it prevents MMON from locking resources those other processes might be waiting for. In 10g , mmon slaves are allowed to run indefinitely.
This is at database level, as many users are in contention for resources when load is high. This is a new code that will kill the MMON slave if it takes too long to complete so that normal sessions do not have
to wait for these resources.
Solution
If the load on the system is extremely high, this is expected, and error can be ignored.

Report not get generate through URL on Development machine

I have got development environment on machine where only weblogic admin is there [ No Forms/Report Services ]. Can I run run report on that machine through URL.
I am using weblogic with Forms 11g [ 11.1.2.1.0 ]

So, you are using 11g-Release2 with a "Development" installation type. The part I don't understand is why you said you are using Forms 11, but then mention running a report through a URL. Are you trying to call a report from a Forms application? If not and you are simply trying to call a report from a URL directly in a browser, you may want to post your "Reports" question in the Reports forum, which is here:

Generally speaking, I see no reason why you wouldn't be able to run a report from a URL or from Forms. Both should work. Have you read the documentation?
