How do we detect "false" actual labor units in EPPM?

My organization uses progress reporter to track actual hours to all of our projects. We depend on this information being accurate for a lot of our reporting, etc.
An issue we are having is that we occasionally run acros "false" actual labor units that were left behind from a timesheet being rejected, or accidentally entered, etc.
Does anyone know how to query the DB tables to find any project activities that have actual hours that are not supported by timesheet data?
ANY help would be greatly appreciated!

Timesheet data is restored in below 4 tables
TSDATES
TIMESHT
RSRCHOUR
TSAUDIT
You can write a query against those tables to find the specific data you need.
NOTE: The primary table is RSRCHOUR which contains actual hour entered in timesheet.

Labor Hours and Machine Hours

Hi everyone,
Our manufacturing operation involves injection molded parts that have labor time and machine time structured. As operations department, we receive a daily schedule per molding machine we have but such schedule shows only the amount of parts to be produced and not its equivalent in machine and labor hours based on its routings. Basically we receive a list of Planned Orders to be produce in a daily basis with parts only.
In a previous experience in Oracle there was a report showing the order, parts, labor time and machine time requiered.
Is there a report in SAP that can reflect the same data?
Currently we are looking up into a routings spreadsheet but the problem is that is not accurate because routings may change for multiple reasons.

This is possible in SAP also. But this needs enabling PP and timebooking functionality in HR.
In PP along with CO, the machines or the PRT are created as cost centers and teh costs will accrue to these cost centers. Similarly teh cost of the materials can also be accrued on a cost center. The labour hours can be captured by means of timebooking and linking every employee to a work center whichis again linked to a cost center. If these functionalities are enabled, then it is possible to see all the costs, activities and schedules used for an order, may it be production order, assembly order, or a service order.

Labor Hours in PM Datasources

which of the datasources in PM gives me the Labor information like hours worked, Planned hours, Total Labor Hours etc.

Look at cube 0PM_C04 (Maintenance Orders - Operations) which contains information on the planned and actual work for operations in maintenance orders, loaded from 2LIS_17_OPERATION (Maintenance orders - operations).

Labor Hour Formula

I need a formula to help me add total labor hours. I want to input shifts that total out at the end of the row. Example: Shifts will be input as Cell One 7.0-5.0, Cell Two 8.5-6.5 etc etc. That is a spread of 9 hours but I want to drop an hour for lunch. So 7.0-5.0 equals 8 hours. If I enter these shifts into 5 of 7 cells the last cell will reflect a total of 40 hours. Can this be done?

Actually, it already has been done. Take a look at the Employee Schedule template in the Business section of the Template Chooser.
There are a few caveats, though:
• None of the shifts can extend across a day boundary (midnight).
• All pairs of start and stop times must be attached to the same date. (The template uses pop-up menu cells to enter these times, and all items on these menus have the same Date part—which is not displayed.)
If the times available on the pop-up menus do not fit your requirements, the lists can be edited, with these two caveats:
• (1) If you edit one time, you must edit them ALL. you must edit ALL values on both a start time menu and a stop time menu, you must do all of the edits on the same calendar day (ie. start after 12:01 AM and finish the editing before 11:59 PM the same day), and you must replace ALL of the start and stop time menus with the two that you have edited.
• (2) Do not edit the "blank" item on either menu. There is no means by which a user can place a truly "blank" item as a menu choice, and any value you can place (such as a single space) will cause an error in formulas using the cell's contents. So edit all the 'time' values, but leave the "blank" one as is.
One other thing: 7.0 to 5.0 (7:00 AM to 5:00 PM) is a spread of 10 hours, not 9. With an hour taken off for lunch, that's 9 hours, not 8. Ditto for 8.5 to 6.5.

we are using 11i (11.5.10.2) and I checked in the same tab "expnd/costing" tab only (in Setup > System > Implemenion Options). But there is no check boxes as "Import Contingent Worker Timecards with Purchase Order Integration" and "Interface Contingent Worker Labor Costs".
Is there any profile options related to enable these options?

Report on actual dispatches without WMS

Dear All,
My client has a requirement to get a report on actual quantity dispatched from a warehouse on a daily basis. With movement type 601, what we can find is the invoiced quantity for a particular date, which may be due for delivery on any other date.We dont have Warehouse Management System implemented, please advise a workaround on the same.

you can also restrict the data via MB51 or Mb52 with 601. did you try that option by entering the posting date in the input screen?

Schedule report at every half hour interval from 5:30 AM to 5:00 PM

Hi,
We use BOXIR2 and our client has requested to schedule a RealTime Webi report at every half hour interval from 5:30 AM PST to 5:00 PM PST daily.
We tried scheduling the report but there is no option present in BO where we can select the start time or end time for a day.
Could you please let us know how we can achieve this?

Hi Ashwini,
I believe its not a good idea to set the date daily. After a lot of research on this, I found that there are 2 possible solutions for this.
1. Create 24 daily schedule for the report(s).
             i.e.
              1.     daily 8 am
              2.     daily 8:30 am
              3.     daily 9 am
              4.     u2026
              24.                daily 5 pm
2. Create a batch file that will craete a file and delete it after 10 secs. Upload that into Windows scheduler as it will run this batch file at every half hour and till 5PM only. The file created by batch file will be trigger to run report.
Does that sound good?

A report required which will show diffrence between TDS report and actual TDS, to get status of tds (liability/receivable) or to compare it.

Report Plan/Actual IW33

Hi all.
In transaction IW33, Costs tab, report Plan/Actual, I need to add a field in layout. This field is 'Operation/Activity Number' (VORNR) which isn't possible select in ALV layout. Please, does somebody know how I can add this field?

T-code standard that is impossible. Or you check in transaction reports (Logistics -> Plant Maintenance -> System Information -> Report Selection) or make a query.

How to make report for last 24 hours?

Hello,
I have a little problem, I can't make report for last 24 hours.
Example:
If I am running report on 2.1.06 at 14:00, I want to get results from 1.1.06 14:00 to 2.1.06 14:00.
How do i make a report with this selection?
Because,if I choose date from 1.1.06 to 2.1.06 and
hour 14:00 to 14:00, I will only get results on 1st and 2nd on 14:00.
If I choose 1.1.06 and 2.1.06, 14:00 to 24:00, I won't get results for 2.1.06 from 0:00 to 14:00.
Because all selections use AND to get results.
How can I choose that system compare selections with OR?
How can I get results for last 24 hours?

Hi,
define a structure in your query with two entries. First one with 1.1. and > 14:00 and second one with 2.2. and < 14:00. Perhaps you need to fill the structure by user exits.

Report on actual & planned work

Hi ,
I have maintained service activity in the project. In the internal activity tab I am maintaining the amount of work in WORK field and the duration of the work in DURATION.
Then I am confirming the activity day wise ( partial confirmation).
Now I want a graphical report of actual work done against the planned work.
The planned work is to be divided on day wise basis to produce a clear picture of whether the amount of work done on per day basis is lagging or not.
pl. help me out with this scenario.

Report for every 1 hour

I wanted to take out a report for every one hour, the count, i used trunc(x_date,'hh24') to take the report, but the problem is, for few hours there wont be any count, so i have to substitute with zero there, any ideas ?,

If you want to make sure all hours appear in the result set, even if they don't appear in the table, then outer-join to a table (or, in the example below, a sub-query) where you know they do exist.
For example, if your table_x has columns entry_dt and amt, and you want results for every hour of the day, you can do somehting like this:

     SELECT     TO_CHAR ( SYSDATE + (LEVEL / 24)
               , 'HH24'

For other aggregate functions (such as AVG) you do need to use NVL to get 0 instead of NULL.

Any function to calculate actual work hours (deduct the break hours)

I have defined the daily work schedule & break schedule. Work center is assigned with the daily work schedule. Now I want to calculate each work center actual work hours. I have a table where the start & finish time of working is keep.
for eg.
first break hr 10:00am to 10:15am
second break hr 13:00pm to 14:00pm
The work center might start work from 10:05 and finished at 14:30 or any other case.
I need to deduct the break hrs & get the actual hr worked
Is there any function to calculate the actual work hours base on the daily work schedule & break schedule ?
