Report on Asset-reg

Hai All,
I have a problem in taking report in Asset. When I go to transaction code S_ALR_87011981 and filled up the required details like compay code, Plant, report date, asset class.
when i execute, I get a error message No data was selected.
can anyone explain to me what is the real problem here.

there could be number of possible reasons.
1. You may have an authorisation problem
2. You might really does not have any data.
3. or the selection you are giving does not really match with the existing data. May be you have the data in this manner in system like CC>Report Date>Asset classs...meaning plant missing
Do invastigate....you will get the reason. Use Asset explorer for one asset and then run this reprot only on one asset & see

Report S_ALR_87012000 Asset Register does not show correct values sums

Hi,
I've taken a look at S_ALR_87012000 transaction - Asset Register (Italy) after an Assets Data transfer and something strange happens:
1- the sum of column Depreciation for year is not correct. It is a little bit strange because the single assets depreciation for year is correct. The same problem is in report S_ALR_87011990 - Asset history sheet
2- if I put an asset number range or the asset class in the report selection screen the report does not show some of the assets included in the range or in the asset class.
Could you explain me why? Is there some program bug?

Hi
If you are executing the reports for previous / future years - execute them as of last day of the fiscal year
The execution for current year can have any date of the fiscal year for report execution

Report on Asset retirement

Dear all,
I need a report on Asset Retirement which display the customer number and his description ( the one who bought the asset).
I used the report S_ALR_87100623 to manage the retirement and i didn't found an option to display the customer number & description.
Is there any solution or other transaction (report) to get it ?

Additional field in report S_ALR_87011990 - Asset History Sheet

This is with reference to report S_ALR_87011990 - Asset History Sheet .
I want to add quantity, location etc in this report.
can anybody guide me how to add these additional field in this report as in configuration no such option available.

Hi,
this is decribed explicitely and detailed in the WIKI entry Include additional fields in Standard Fixed Asset ALV reports.
That´s much faster then enhancing the report. Further more you would still operate on a standard report, not a copy based on the standard report.

Report S_ALR_87012050 - Asset Acquisitions

Hello,
The report S_ALR_87012050 - Asset Acquisitions is bringing only information from the "current year" acquisition - Tty 336, and it's not bringing information from the "prior year" - Tty 331.
Is it a customizing in the report to change it, or is it default by SAP?
Comparing to the report S_ALR_87011990 - Asset History Sheet, the values from the acquisition don't match because of this difference.

Hi Barbara,
In our system we don't have ttype 331 and 336.
Have a look in SPRO what Transaction type grp you are using (31 or 33 should be in)
Financial Accounting / Asset Accounting / Transactions / Transfers / Define Transaction Types for Transfers.

Do you know of any Standard SAP report for asset scrap values? A customer needs to have the scrap values reported and would like the same in summary (asset class level) and detail (individual asset level).

Age Analysis report for asset

Hi All,
I have to create a Age analysis report for FI documents
which have line items with posting key 75 & 70 (Asset)
Given logic is
1 Selection screen has parameters - Company code, Key date
2 Need to take all line items with posting key 70 & 75
(BSEG-BSCHL = 70 or 75)
Layout of report is
Asset no       0-30 31-60      61-90      91-120 . 151-360 (days)
80000003     2000.00    3000.00    1000.00   4000.00    7000.0
80000006     1000.00    5000.00     300.00    5000.00    4000.0
Local curency amount should be categorised under the days
diferences between key date (selection screen) & posting date
of the accounting document.
My problem is,
Posting date of the document is not in the BSEG table. It is
in the BKPF table.Therefore I have to extract all FI documents(Not only documents with posting key 75 or 70) within 360 days from Key date in BKPF the table.
I cannot join BSEG & BKPF. Because, BSEG table is a cluster table.
Can you please tell me the way how can i extract the data for this report with out any performance issues.

Great idea, but I dont think it is going to work.
The 1st problem should be, how do you work out the key date... You will need some good code for that.
Have a look at the customer aged debt reports for some help.
After that, if you just want asset documents, do they have their own unique document type, if so, you could use the doc type from BKPF to reduce the number you want to select in BSEG.
Have you looked at any of the standard Asset dep reports, perhaps there is something there you could use.

Report for Asset with only values (No Zero values)

Hi All
There is requirement where in the user wants to genenerate report for assets with values .There should not be Zero balance assets included in the output. In short only with values in the asset master the report needs to be generated. Can one have any idea on this .

As per my Understanding there is no standard report for "assets expiring in a particular period".
In this case we can get the report by using sap Query report with the help of ABAPER,
Fallowing tables helps to meet your requirement.
ANLA, ANLP ,ANLZ ,ANLB, ANLC, V_ANLSUM_1.
If you want to trace Useful life of Individual asset wise we can see in "AW01N" under Parameters tab- Exp. usefl life,Exp. usefl life, Remaining life.

Report for asset: invoice posted by vendor

Hello Gurus,
My users want to have a report to extract the list of vendor invoices posted on assets. But I am Not able to find any such kind of table relationship in which Asset details & vendor Details both are maintained.
While creation of Asset They didn't maintained the vendor details. So the Vendor details are not available in Asset Master Tables .
So please if you people can help me out.
