Report on cancellation activity (CO13)

Hi,
It happens that operators correct what they have confirmed as job done through CO13 and then reconfirmed thourgh CO14. is there a report like a log that provides such cancellations?

Hello,
You can see all the confirmations in CO14 itself, display production order confirmation. Once it is confirmation cancelled, there will be a check mark against cancelled / Reversed indicator in CO14
In AFRU table itself ther ewill be a filed STZHL, it will be normally 0, if there is no cancellation, once there is concellation there will be enteries in the field.

Report gets cancelled or terminated after eight hours

While doing load testing of reports, all of my reports got cancelled or terminated after eight hours. I bang the report server and database with 30 long running reports using RWCGI60. The rwcgi60/showmyjobs shows that all are running for 8 hours and after that boom... all gets cancelled one by one with in a five minute period. I still see the SQL session activity on database. The report server log says the server engines are crashed one after the other. I have Maxengine set to 15. When I submit 30 reports I see 15 running and 15 enqueued.
Is there any timeout parameter set on RWCGI60 where by it lost contact of database? RWCLI60 works fine and finished all reports.

The timeout is a seeting in http server on which you host Reports CGI. Once that time limit is reached and no output is written, the web server would time out for that request. Reports CGI does not have any timeout parameter property.

How to CANCEL ACTIVE JOB in SM37??

Pls. let me clarify one simple doubt that, am trying to CANCEL a ACTIVE jon in SM37, bcoz its taking too much time, like 60 hrs, so am suspecting that, some thing is wrong in report prog./SELECT!!!
So, I tried, SM37>MENU>JOB-->CANCEL ACTIVE JOB,
but, its not getting canceeled or DELETED??

The program aims to monitor sites visited, but:

Conference Summary Report vs Conference Activity Reports - Different values

Hi Guys,
I have been struggling to understand why the difference in the total conferences displayed on Conference summary reports and Conference activity reports. First, I taught conference summary reports was reporting both success and failed conferences. But looking
at the conferences that failed, I was wrong.
Here is a capture from my environment:
On the Conference Summary Report, for example, there is total conference of
75 for week 2/8/2015. But on the Conference Activity Report, there is total conferences as
74. What is the logic behind this difference. Any ideas? Any accurate answer?

For Conference Activity Report, please try to choose the Start time: 2/7/2015, and End time: 2/16/2015. Then check if there is any difference for the total number of conferences between 2/8/2015 to 2/15/2015.

Hi,
Is there a standard report/query which shows all the activities with their corresponding status and due dates.
If not, can someone guide me how to capture this data, in terms of tables which store this details.

could you give some additional information on your requirement?
If you need support for the every day work of the recruiter there are standard bsp applications (up to ehp 3) and work sets (for ehp 4 sp 4 and higher) which show the planned activities and planned correspondences for them.
If you need some statistic over all recruiters the are some infosets but I never used them as they never met the requirements in my projects. I'd probably write some report reading the activity infotypes (tables HRP5135 to HRP5142/43 or 45 depending on your e-rec release) directly. For statistics please keep in mind that recruiters tend to not complting all of their activities. So you might gather tons of data from candidacies / applications which belong to requisitions which are already closed.

So when you specify the VBS file to run in CDA you need to pass those variables in that order.
The CDA should expect the VBS file on the root of C:\ by default, and the VBS file expects the HTML Template on the root of C:\ also.
I have only tested this on UCCX 7x and IE 8x. Use the code as a guide to your own solution, that suites your business requirements.
EDIT: I see that this does not work on my Win7/IE9 system, so I will spend some time updating the code for Win7/IE9 and I'll let you know how it goes.

Web Intelligence hangs when a report is cancelled. Has anyone else had this problem and how have you fixed it? I have googled it and can find fixes for it on previous versions but can't find it on our current version. We are on SAP BusinessObjects BI Platform 4.1 Support Pack 2 Version: 14.1.2.1121.

I still recommend Patch2.x , also the BICS correction is must-have in long term.
You need to save the BEx query in Designer with property "Allow external acess to Query"
Viewer preferences are set in BILaunchPad settings , not CMC
Java version can have impact - but anything in 1.6.0_x range is fine with IE 7 / 8
You also need to make sure your APS server (that contains the DSLBridge service) is running.
You also need to make sure that your user credentials in the BICS logon string have sufficient SAP Authorizations added to your Role, to be able to read the InfoArea nodes as seen in RSA1 in BW.
You also need to have a compatible BW version: 7.01 (EhP1) SP07 and above. (08 / 09 recommended)

Is it possible to import Reports in BAM Active Studio?

Hi,
i exported (saved as) a Report in BAM Active Studio as a .mht file. Now i'm searching for a possibility to import this Report on another Server. There seems to be no way to import it directly. Even on the file system is no folder where it can be placed. I thought that BAM Active Studio may recognize it and import it automatically.

I am not familiar with .mht file. BUT any BAM Stuff like BAM Reports, Data Objects (Single or All) can be Exported and Imported using a command called icommand. I sue this to Export from one Env like Dev or QC and Import into Production. Here is link for more details.

Qosmio X770 - system + all apps report Intel controller active, not GTX560M

Hi everybody,
As per the thread topic:
X770 - system + all apps report Intel controller active, not GTX560 M ??
I just bought for my family a Qosmio X770 and Window system report plus games like Diablo III report that the Intel HD family controler is the active video card, and not the GTX560M ?
How can it be? The computer is straight from the factory. Are both active, do I have to deactivate manually the Intel controller in the System panel?
This seems super weird to me that such thing exists.
Please advise, that would be much appreciated!

You cannot disable the internal Intel graphic.
The point is that this is controlled automatically if the graphic card supports the Optimus nVidia technology.
If the application needs full graphic performance, the external nVidia chip will be used.
If the application does not need the strong graphic performance, the Intel internal GPU would be used in order to save the power.
But of course you can assign the GPU to a single application.

Cancel activity confirmation

Dear Experts,
I want to cancel activity created in CJ20N. I went to CN29 tcode. Once I provide the inputs and press enter,
1. Activity created is displayed.
2. I click back button.
3. A word editor opens asking for reason for cancellation. I enter it and press save.
4. I can see an option from menu Text-> download. This is saving the reason for cancellation in the specified location. But as the end user will be enter reason for cancellation it would not be possible to ask him to do the above.
Is it possible to send this reason for cancellation in mail step of workflow. Kindly tell me where the reason will be stored when I call CN29 from method of my BO using call transaction and how I should bind it to workflow.

Current I am getting both the editor of standard screen as well as editor of FM CATSXT_SIMPLE_TEXT_EDITOR. I either want only CATSXT_SIMPLE_TEXT_EDITOR popup alone to appear or I want to capture the value of reason of rejection entered in editor of CN29 screen.

Report Performance Issue - Activity

Hi gurus,
I'm developing an Activity report using Transactional database (Online real time object).
the purpose of the report is to list down all contacts related activities and activities NOT related to Contact by activity owner (user id).
In order to fullfill that requirment I've created 2 report
1) All Activities related to Contact -- Report A
pull in Acitivity ID , Activity Type, Status, Contact ID
2) All Activities not related to Contact UNION All Activities related to Contact (Base report) -- Report B
to get the list of activities not related to contact i'm using Advanced filter based on result of another request which is I think is the part that slow down the query.
<Activity ID not equal to any Activity ID in Report B>
Anyone encountered performance issue due to the advanced filter in analytic before?
any input is really appriciated

Fina,
Union is always the last option. If you can get all record in one report, do not use union.
since all records, which you are targeting, are in the activity subject area, it is not nessecery to combine reports. add a column with the following logic
if contact id is null (or = 'Unspecified') then owner name else contact name

Report for cancelled jobs

Hi ,
I have a requirement in which I have to create a report that should pickup all the cancelled CRM marketing jobs (due to whatever reason) based on on job name, copy them and restart them.
In your selection screen, you will give the cancelled job name (wildcard acceptable..like ZE00*) and a radio button to show the cancelled job list and copy the jobs.
Could anyone guide me on how to go ahead with this report?

Hi,
in table TBTCO and TBTCP you have all jobs with current status. You can search them by name.
Selected jobs you can "popup_with_table" FM. Then you need to use fm to submit job in ackground;
'JOB_OPEN', 'JOB_SUBMIT' and 'JOB_CLOSE'.

Hi,
From your description, my understanding is that you got an error when you clicked System settings after configuring Reporting Services service application.
What size did you use for the memory? Please make sure the server has enough memory to run SharePoint and all services.
In addition, please open
http://localhost:xxxxx/SecurityTokenServiceApplication/securitytoken.svc to check if there is something about this issue.
