Report on Change Logs

Hi Guys
Is there a report/transaction in SAP where I can view all the changes that have occurred on the Customre/Vendor master data... other than the XD04/XK04..

Hi,
I would like to know if there is any report that would show the change log for AVAC for WBS Elements (i.e. change data of system status). I tried running CN60 but it does not give any results.

Also, in order to view the change document for both Project Definition and WBS Element, I understand there is some config that need to be done. Could you confirm if below are complete / correct?
- project profile - tick on change document (OPSA)
- Project Definition and WBS Element status profile (user status profile) - set business transaction to allow "create change document"

Issue in Report RPAUD00 - Change Log

Dear Experts,
I want to execute the report RPAUD00, but the report output is completely blank. I searched on SDN for similar issues, and came to know that the following tables needs to be customised:
1. V_T585A
2. V_T585B
3. V_T585C
I have done the required settings in V_T585 A as below:
Unable to understand V_T585B. What will be entered in Field Group? And also, if I want to know changes done in all fields in a particular infotype, will every field be entered? can anybody please show me a dump of the table.
Also, in table V_T585C, does the values populate automatically after entering in the V_T585A and V_T585B tables?
Please help me for my queries.

Hi BN,
After configuration of these 3 tables, if any changes done in the Employee master data are seen in the Report RPUAUD00 / S_AHR_61016380. before changes will not appear in the report.

Change Logs for customer master data in 3.1 H version

Hello All
Are they any existing reports or change logs for viewing changes to customer master data in 3.1h version. I want to be able to report based on changes made to customer master.
I know there is a good report in 6.0 version for this- S_ALR_87012182.
If I have to develop a custom program for this in 3.1h. Which table I should use? KNA1 or CDPOS.
Any ideas will be appreciated.

Hi,
Please check the filter settings maintained for the adapter object CUSTOMER in R3AC1. The same filter settings can be referred in tables Table: CRMFILTAB (R/3) and SMOFFILTAB(CRM) as per srinivas's reply.
Check the sales area of the customer maintained (Sales Area, Division, Distribution Channel etc.) and see if the current filter settings are restricting the customer from getting replicated in CRM. If everything is maintained fine then check for any failure Bdocs in SMW01 or SMW02.

PO change log report

Dear experts ,
Do we have any standard report that would give the details of PO change log . I do not want to open the PO document & check for its change log , but want a report with multiple pos as input & corrsponding changes as o/p .

STD transaction (end user level - front end- t code) we dont have it,, but through SE16/ se16n you can see it,, (table level)
Go to the transaction - SE16/SE16n
Table-CDPOS
Max no of hits- "BLANK"
in the object values enter the PO ranges ex- 4500017000-4500018000 (or leave it blank)
Execute it,, you will get the list of changes,,

Change log report S_AHR_61016380 not picking IT0025

Hi Experts,
I need the change log report to capture the details of changes made in IT0025 (Appraisals).
I have made necessary configurations to the below tables by watching in other SDN threads, but still my problem is not solved.
Also made changes to master data (IT0025) and tested, but still no use.
Log report is not picking changes made to IT0025.

User change log report in Console

Dear Experts,
We have one audit requirement. We need u2018change logu2019 for useru2019s role modification.
I checked in console logs. I found the log for delete user & modify user. In case of delete user it is giving details which are the users had been deleted. But in case of role modify in user, it is not giving which are the users had been modified or which newly role had been assign.
We need change log report from MDM console.

In this case the role with ID 2 has been modified. The authorization with ID 16777216 (see function ID map below) has been set to 1 (Execute).
Below this section there is one table with function ID and Description.
Here in case of change in functions Tab
<access>X</access> will tell u if the function is set to Execute or None:

and which function u will get from <function>16777216</function>
For decoding the function id there is a table given in section 4.2
and if there is any change in the table and fields tab:
then log will be as follows:

Which table u will get from <object>ID</object>

Try to write an api which will extract the Table ID ,Field ID and Role ID information in an Excel this u can use as reference the decode the Log.

Route Change Log Report

Please advise how to sort out change logs of route on existing order lines from tables SE16 CDHDR/CDPOS. Since there's no available tranaction Code \ Report for user to track change history.
If any other solution available, please advise it as well.

OB52 change log report

Hi,
I have a requirement where i need to to copy the standard report RSVTPROT Evaluation of Change Log (OB52 Transcation) to custom report and change the layout format to ALV . When i looked into the standard report the report RSVTPROT is being called using submit report passing the object (Table/View). Could any of them worked on this issue please let me know other than the table t001b/V_too1b is being passed as object while calling the report.
If it is possible to change the layout to ALV report can u guide me on the same.

SAP Report RSVTPROT: Evaluate Change Logs

Is there a similar report that anyone knows of to evaluate change logs? A report where you can enter a user name or user range, and a range for table names?
Or has anyone customized the SAP logic to do this?
We have a very old customized program from this but looks like because of advancements in change log processing we are having a lot of new issues with it.

Perhaps you can write custom program to access directly table DBTABLOG which contains all records for table log (very huge table)
Also check FM DBLOG_READ_TABLE for logic to access.

Does a Master Data Change Log or Report Exist?

Does anyone know of a master data change log or report?
Such a log or report would show all changes made to cons units, cons groups, and items; including additions, deletions and changes to a hierarchy.
We hope to use this to synchronize cons group/unit and item hierarchies between BCS systems: Production and Development.
For example, if a master data change was made in the Production system, we would like to log the change, and synch this change back to the Development system.

Some detail of the findings for those who interested:
There is a "How to... trace changes to master-data and settings for SEM-BCS" which describes all nuances of tracking changes in MD.
The HowTo mentions the reports RSVTPROT , UGMD_DB_LOG_DISPLAY, and a t-code SCU3 that may show the changes.
Certainly the code of the reports might be taken as an example for writing your own code.
Though, the reports and the SCU3 are useful when the logging of DB tables changes is activated.

Reporting on ODS (Change log Table)

Hi,
Can we do Reporting on ODS (Change log Table) that can give me the detailed transactions (invoices, cancellation etc) that is stored in the change log table.
If we can do reporting on the change log table, how can that be done? Please Help!

    Please help me in finding the change logs for the TCODE FILE,
    i.e The changes made to the Logical paths
   I had tried Utilities---->change logs , but unfortunately i cannot find any changes logs
   But there are changes made to the logical paths in my system but i cannot see them in change logs

rec/client is a profile parameter, you can view the settings in transaction RZ10. However I find program RSPARAM more useful, the report lists all system parameters with their default and altered value. Also if you double-click on a parameter you can get to the full help text for its meaning.
The parameter essentially switches on table change logging for configuration tables (based on the technical settings of the table) and has to be set before the changes are made.

Need suggestion to get data from change log table of ODS.

There is a case where i am loading opportunity header data from header ODS and opportunity item data from item ODS in the opportunity cube.
Status (1= OPEN, 2= WON ETC) of the opportunity are available only in header ODS and not in item ODS.
While loading data from header ODS to cube, I am loading it directly but while loading data from item ODS to cube i am using active data table of header ODS as a lookup in the update rule from item ODS to cube. I am selecting status from the active data table of header ODS while loading data from item ODS to cube.
Since active data table will have only after image records, there is some data mismatch in the report as i am selecting data from active data table of header ODS while loading data from item ODS to cube.
I need to select data from Change log in order to get before image also instead of active data table in order to overcome this issue. Is there any way by which i can do selection from Change log instead of active data table as change logs are generated at run time.
Please let me know if you have any suggestions.

Hi,
You can use the changelog table of the DSO.
Right click manage the Header DSO, go to the contents tab and click Change Log table. There you can see the technical name of the Change Log table.
In the update rule Routine, give the tech name of Change log table instead of Active table name.

Sales Orders Change Log question

Hi All,
I am currently working on a project that involves querying SAP Database to get custom reports via web browser, I've made a lot of advances and most of the site is ready but I'm missing just one item that I hope you could help me.
Thing is I am working with the Sales Order change log and the problem comes one a user deletes a row. If I go to the change log inside SAP and see the differences a new record will be shown saying that row X was deleted and
if I go to the database (ADOC and ADO1 tables) I don't have a way to see wich row was deleted.
My way of doing this is to check for the number of rows on the current state of the sales order and check the same on the previous instance of the SO and see if a line was deleted. Then I would have to check row by row between instances what rows are there and what row is missing and store that info. I think this kind of approach will definitively kill the server.
I was wondering if some one can give me a hint about how to approach this problem. Does any body know how SAP works on this area?
I'm working with SAP2005A and SQL Server 2005 Standard Edition.

Thanks for your answer, as I see it I'm doing exactly what you proposed but the problem comes with the following scenarios:
a.- If I post a new SO with two lines I will have on the ADO1 table two records with the values 0 and 1 for each line respectively but if I delete the item on LineNum = 1 and then I add a new item, this last item will be also created with LineNum value = 1. This is not a complicated thing to do but the problem comes when the user is used to work with SOs with several items at detail level and is used to add and erase lines once in a while and as I see it it's very difficult for me to track those specific changes. There's also the fact that on the Log table a new instance is created every time the user hits the update button regardless if a modification was actually made or not. I mean I would know that a line was deleted or added but I would have to start comparing each field on each line of a sales order with it's previous instance to check what was actually added/deleted and I'm afraid that this may affect the server performance. I know that SAP does this without affecting to much the system resources and that is what I'm trying to find.
I forgot the other scenario I was considering he he I will post again as soon as I remember it but I hope I'm explaining this ok (I'm not very good at explaining...) If not let me know and I'll try to explain again.
I'm also working on trying to get another approach to see what comes up...
