Report on folders/files including the path charchter length

Hi, i am trying to find a way of exporting or creating a report that will extract the file/folder path charachter length and the trustees of all our users data.
Our Data volume which contains all our users data/files & folders have become almost unmangeable regarding too many nested folders and very long naming used for files and folders.
I am trying to find out all the files/folder - including their full path chrachter length with the owners/trustees into a report.
Once i can extract this information i can then start resolving those problematic areas - as normal basic admin tasks are proving difficult such as copy/cut and paste - i keep getting errors.
Once i can resolve/identify the areas that contain all the long chrachters and who the trustees are - i can then start to restrucutre the data into a more managmeable way.
Any assistance - greatly apprecated.

Trustee.nlm will create a file that you can import into something for
further processing.

Go to CREATE > Create PDF from Web Page > Click the SETTINGS button on the dialog that follows > Uncheck "Place headers and footers on new page".

Add all files in the path while creating folio file in Folio builder

Hello everyone.
I am using InDesign CS 5 and creating folio for iPad 2. My Folio builder was working fine till last week, but suddenly i see a change the way it behaves. When I update the files in Folio builder, it adds all the files in the path (not just the links in the file) including source PSD files and other related files which I have never used in the InDesign, making the folio file increase in size. Can someone please help me how to overcome this situation?

Do you have an HTML file in there? If so, put it it (and its assets) in its own folder.

attempted to use I tunes, every selected a song from the library resulted in a
message stating that the file couldn't be located. After following some of the procedures
explained in this community I was able to reconnect the library back to where
the associated music files are presently stored. However, there are still 2
problems that need to be corrected. 1) Every song file now has a duplicate. One
file works and the other file will result in the same message stating that the
file couldn't be located. Before there were 4,000 songs in the library, now
there are 8,000 songs. I need to eliminate the 4,000 dead song files. 2) All
the playlists are still associated with the dead song files which makes the
playlists unusable. Can the playlists be reconnected to the usable files
without manually having to recreate them? Thanks in advance for the help.

You used your iPod as a hard drive (drag and drop) instead of having iTunes install the music?
If you used drag and drop your choices are different than if you used iTunes to transfer.

How to count the total lines of the file (including the file header)

I am working with Idoc to file scenario(FCC).
I need to map one of the field with a recound count ie.., count of the total lines of the file (including the file header).
Eg:Record Count-- mapping area:Total number of records in the file including file header The total line of the file (including the file header).
Can i get a help on this.

Hi !
If there is a tag of your IDOC that occurs the same quantity of times as file lines you have to create in your target file, you could make a Java user defined function in graphical mapping that "caches the entire queue" (use the corresponding option button), that receives as input that field of the IDOC, and returns the "lenght" (.length property value) of that input parameter (it is an array) as output..that should be the file line quantity..you may also add 1 to that count, for the header.

Export -> Master Mix - choose the File Type -> *Using Compressor*, this will give you options for re-encoding or preserving the video file.

My Win XP hard drive crashed. we were able to copy most of the files, including the iTunes folders to a USB drive. My system was reimaged with Win 7. How do I get my old iTunes folder to work with a new install of iTunes.

I tried installing itunes and then copying the old folders, but that does not work. The error msg I received was that it could not find the "source files" for the music.

Select a track with a broken link and press CTRL-I to Get Info. What is the location given on the Summary tab? Look for the actual file and note down its path.
Depending on just how you managed to import your old library it may be that iTunes is slightly confused over the folder layout and thinks your library should be in the new structure while it is, in fact, in the old one. If you can post back both paths I can confirm this and give you a set of steps to resolve everything.

Save a report 6i PDF file onto the database server

Hello Experts,
I have a requirement, whereby I need to generate a PDF report and then send that report via Email. The problem I have is my email procedure is looking for the file which is in the directory on the server where the database is stored, While the PDF is generated on the local machine. Im using reports 6i.
I know in reports 10g the file is generated on the report server itself but Im afraid same is not the case with reports 6i.
The other problem is the local machine does not have the access to the directories on the server. I tried to change the directory path in the database to look at the C:\ but it doesn't work, it says invalid directory, I think the PDF report file needs to be on the server where the database is installed. Is there a way I can pick the PDF file from the local machine instead of the server where the database is installed?
Im not too sure what is the way forward, All I need is to generate a PDF file and mail it.

Hi,
in the forms 6i email with attachment can be sent only through database folder/file. From the client it can not be.
Here is one alternate solution.
1. Share the folder from db server which is used for email directory and keep changeable for everyone.
2. After generate the report like RUN_PRODUCT keep the below command.
HOST('XCOPY CLIENT_PATH\FILE_NAME SERVER_PATH');
3. This command will transfer file from client to db server. After this execute your procedure which is sending email.

File Include Relative Pathing Problem

Was developing large jsp app in JRUN, recently switched to Oracle 9i.
However the includes work differently.
In 9i it seems that if a jsp page includes a jsp file, that in turn includes a jsp file... the path to the second include must be relative to the first jsp page and NOT the calling page.
This discourages code reuse!
Is it a bug or what?

Yes I have a jsp file and that file has a tag like
<jsp:include page="/fragments/test.html" flush="true" />
jsp application is deployed on Weblogic App server,but the test.html is in on Web Server(IIS). I know that according to the JSP specs,it looks for the test.html with respect to the application context and since test.html could not be found,throws servlet exception. But if I try to use this application with Websphere,it works because WAS will try to look for the test.html with respect to the server context.
Is there a way Weblogic could work the way as WAS?

Genrating Report as PDF File on the hard disk

Hi All,
I am using Oracle developer 10g, I need when I call the report from the forms to generate the report to a PDF file on the c:\ drive instead of appearing on the screen.
I set the DESFORMAT to PDF, DESTYPE set to FILE and DESNAME set to C:\filename.pdf.

When using DESTYPE=FILE , the output will be generated on the machine where the Reports Server is running .
If you want to generate the PDF file on the "Client PC" (the PC where the Forms Applet is running), you will have to transfer the PDF from the
"Application Server machine" to the "Client PC"

How can I remove all Time Machine data from an external HD, while retaining the other folders/files on the disk?

I recently replaced my old Macbook Pro with a new Macbook Pro Retina.
The original MBP had Time Machine set up on an external HD, and I also had some manually saved/backed up files (stuff that didn't need incremental backups; very old stuff) on the disk as well, in folders. This worked fine and well for the life of the original MBP.
When I set up the MBPr, I did not elect to transfer everything over from a Time Machine disk, as I wanted a Fresh Install; I chose to just re-download/install the apps I needed from the App Store. Much cleaner, more stable. I updated to Yosemite immediately so, it gave me more of a clean install.
The problem is, Time Machine now won't read any Time Machine backups from that disk. Migration assistant can pull data from it, but it's a bit wonky. It was easier to just manually copy over what I needed.
Now, I just want to "reset", and completely remove the old Time Machine data from the external hard drive, since it is completely useless to me now (I can't access it on this computer, and it's taking up space). I want to remove the Time Machine data, as if it were never there, but keep my other folders/files that are on the disk (so, a format is not feasible).
I will then set the disk up as a new, fresh Time Machine disk for the new MBPr.
What is the proper method for removing Time Machine data from an external disk (which doesn't seem to be associated with this machine anyway)? I know a simple rm -rf will cause problems.

Upload a local file using the path

I'm trying to upload-on-demand every .MP4 file from an SD card (E:\) to my server when the application starts. So far in my code I have been able to check whether E:\ is valid (the SD card is loaded) and get a list of full paths to the MP4 files on the card. I noticed FileReference and FileReferenceList use the browse() method to select files but couldn't see a method that would allow me a specify a path instead.
Is there a way to do this? Thanks in advance.

And befor finish, let me ask you: do you know how I can make the download now?! Is there a specific class for download like upload?! In my webapplication, the file is stored in database and I can download it in server machine from the own server machine or client machine, but I can't downlod the file in client machine. How can I do that?!

Exporting the report as flat file using the layout defined

I am creating a report program using REUSE_ALV_LIST_DISPLAY with flat file extraction using WS_DOWNLOAD. In the selection-screen, a checkbox which indicates that the report must be exported as flat and a parameter for the layout exist. The user wants the result of the flat file to be the same as the layout of the report. In my program, the flat file processing is prior to displaying the ALV. I've been searching a FM which can get the fieldcatalog of a layout but so far, I haven't found one. If I found one, I will just create a dynamic table which will be passed to WS_DOWNLOAD.

You can just do a google & SDN search using the FM and u will get many codes where its being used,
Basically the FM is used to get the layout information. I am not sure if its a perfect match for your requirement.
