Report on PO release

Hi all
Is there any report where we can find out the below requirements,
If the PO is not approved u2013 the value should not be populated.
If the PO is approved u2013 the value should be populated.
If the PO is amended the incremental increase in the PO value should populate in the table based on the amended date.

Tool Bar- edit- Dynamic selection
Select Release status and enter values.
Then execute.
It will show the released PO

Hello Prashant,
Check if you can use ME28 (with flag cancle release) to meet your requirement.
if not then you need to develop report. PO release is considerred as PO change and that will be updated in CDHDR and CDPOS table so you need to develop a report which can give the information, who has released the PO and on which date.

Crystal reports server XI release 2 installation problem

Hello, everybody,
got 2 of crystal reports server XI release 2 packages back in 2006
since then only crystal reports designer were used (great software) and it works fine.
but now trying install the server version included in the package, installation gives error
on the key what is supplied with in the package.
error message said "the product key code you entered is not valid"
is there are any time restriction on the official key codes?
can anyone, please, comment?

I am trying to evaluvate Crystal Reports server XI release 2 and i face problems in integrating it with java. can sombody help me out?
Also when i try to open a report using INFOVIEW i get a cannot open connection error.

What problems exactly are you running into? Are you getting errors? Also - the infoview error is most likely that the report can't connect to the database - or that the account that the Page or RAS server is running under can't see the database server. Try running the page server and RAS server under a user account that has domain privileges

What is the upgrade method of going from Crystal Reports XI Developer to Crystal Reports XI Developer Release 2.
I've seen mention on other forums and help-desk websites that it is a free upgrade for a registered user of Crystal Reports XI Developer. However, I can't how this is done.

There are a number of ways to get the physical download. Here's one that's pretty easy. Go to the [Downloads page |http://service.sap.com/sap/bc/bsp/spn/bobj_download/main.htm]for Crystal Reports and set the search criteria for service packs for Crystal Reports XI R2.
Software Product: Crystal Reports
Product Version: XI Release 2
Software Type: Service Pack
You'll see a number of downloads. Download one of the Full Build packages like "Crystal Reports XI Release 2 - Service Pack 4 Full Build".
After downloading CR XI R2 you should uninstall CR XI and then install CR XI R2. CR XI R2 is not really an upgrade to CR XI. It is it's own stand alone version.
You'll sometimes see issues in Crystal Reports if you don't fully remove CR XI by following manual cleaning steps. You may need to do the following from SAP Note 1218535 - How to manually uninstall Crystal Reports XI:

Symptom
Crystal Reports XI is installed on your computer. You need to manually uninstall Crystal Reports XI for one of the following reasons:
To verify that all Crystal Reports XI components have been completely removed prior to installing a later version of Crystal Reports.
To remove the remaining Crystal Reports XI components that have not been removed using the 'Add/Remove Programs' command (Start > Settings > Control Panel).
To remove the remaining Crystal Reports XI components that have not been removed using the Setup.exe file from Crystal Reports XI installation CD.
Resolution
Before getting started, uninstall Crystal Reports XI by launching the Setup.exe file from the installation CD or by using the 'Add/Remove Programs' command. If either of these methods fails to remove all Crystal Reports directories, files and registry keys, then continue with the resolution of this article.
WARNING: This resolution can be applied if Crystal Reports XI is the only software installed on the computer that uses the Business Objects directories, files and registry keys.
For example, Crystal Analysis, Crystal Enterprise and BusinessObjects Enterprise XI are applications that may share the same directories, files and registry keys. Removing these directories, files and registry keys may cause other software to function incorrectly.
1. To manually uninstall Crystal Reports XI, delete the following directories:

The number signs (#) represent a series of numbers that are different on each computer.
After making changes to the registry, restart the affected service or application as required.

Rumors surfaced last week suggesting that Apple was preparing to release the update, which is expected to address poor battery life with iOS 5, out of the door before the end of this week. Macerkopf.de said iOS 5.0.2 has been delayed to fix “address-based memory leaks,” or bugs that cause apps to consume memory without releasing resources once they are no longer needed. A new release date for iOS 5.0.2 has reportedly not yet been scheduled.

END;Once you have the blob you can store it in a database table, done!
There is only one tricky part. Should the Tomcat throw an exception then it will return a html error page (http code 200=ok). The request is perfectly valid but a human can see the error message.
The API should throw an exception on that. A bit tricky once other J2EE servers are supported or the error messages vary.
BTW: do you plan any additional features ?Perhaps, what are you looking for?

We have standard report available to view the release /un-release in Purchasing document category (K-Contract-Sched.agreement,F-PO,A-RFQ) . In standard transactions ME80RN -General Evaluations, It will list out the report which is include your release document header like release group.code,strategy,status of release indicator (Y/N). For this expected output,you will need to choose the dynamic selection(shift+F4) with this you have to double click your expected requirement fields.
I hope this will fulfills your requirement.

Crystal Report Viewer Not Releasing Oracle Database Connections

I have a very simple vb.net 3.5 web application that uses the Crystal Report viewer 2008 to open a report. My requirements are as follows:
1. Reports are built by another company and provided to us and used in a web environment
2. All reports contain parameter fields
3. The web application must be generic enough that a report can be added to a list and the user simply selects the report and provides database login information. The Crystal report viewer with handle the request for parameter values and prompt the user for their values.
4. All reports connect to an Oracle 10g server.
The above requirements have been meet and we have an extremely simple web application that runs the reports. It is working very well other than the crystal report viewer is not releasing the database connections. This is bad because the credentials are on a per user basis and that same user must login to a different oracle application simultaneously. They are being denied access because the credentials are already in use. We do not have control nor influence over the policies in use on the Oracle server. Ideally we would like to control the Crystal Report viewer so that it closes connections after use.
The web application code is:

By default, having the report in session will hold it open for 20 minutes.
If you create the report as a ReportDocument object you can take it out of session and release it more efficiently. That will release the connection.

U can get Po release date per release code, use CDHDR and CDPOS tables in SE16
Enter transaction as ME28/ ME29N, Enter the range date,enter the object value as PO number (PO number should be 10 digit if the PO is not 10 digit, then add zero value for the prefix).
Then you can find the release date
Rest details u can find from ME2N report i.e Po details and Release indicator using dyanamic selection

Is there any report by which we can see who released the PO on what level, through ME2N I can go to header changes and find out but is there any other direct report for specifically knowing who released, on what level by PO on monthly basis.
