Thanks for your help in advance.

Saakithyan

Smartforms
   Select the Page and in the right hand side, you will have a tab output options. In that you will have the page format Portrait or Landscape.
Smart scripts
  You can find the Portrait or Landscape in the Orientation of the Basic settings option.
Report
   (probably you might not have authorization for all the below - contact basis)
   Step1 : Go to the transaction SPAD, then on the menu - configuration -> Device types -> Page Formats.
   Step2 : Create a Page Format, if you want a new one or change the one which you already have. Then in the orientation, select Portrait or Landscape.
   Step3 : Go to SPAD, Enter the printer you are using in SAP in output devices. Go to the Tray info in the last tab and select the Page Format you created above and save it.
  Then print using this printer will print in Landscape or Portrait in the way you selected.

  • Microsoft Project 2013 Reports Print Page Setup Issue

    Hi Guys,
    I'm trying to print multiple reports together, is there any way i can setup the print page setup ( headers and footers ) so that i don't have to set it up for each report?
    another issue i'm having is also say i set a print page setup( header and footer) for a specific report, then i change to a different report, then when i go back to the first report to print again the page setup settings is gone!
    any help would be much apprecaited

    Hi Reza,
    This should be possible if you have applied headers and footers to a non-enterprise view, such as the Gantt Chart view, resource sheet view etc. In this manner we can retain the Header and Footer information in the project after
    saving and closing it. (The header and footer information will be available only from the view in which you have applied it)
    Hence, if we have customized the Header and Footer in the Gantt Chart view, you will be able to view the same in Resource Usage view.

  • How to Put the orientation to Landscape in Page Setup?

    Hi All,
    I put the orientation property for header section as Landscape with:
    width & height :11, Report Width : 90, Report Height: 66
    and put orientation property for main section as Landscape with:
    width : 15, height :11, Report Width : 90, Report Height: 66
    and put orientaion property for trailer section as Landscape with:
    width : 11, height :11, Report Width : 90, Report Height: 66
    and then put the orientation in page setup to Landscape, but when I press the button OK and open Page setup window agian the oreintaion returned to Portrait, and when I print the report the right side of the page appeared blank which make the report imperfect.
    How to solve this problem and make the page to appeared landscape not portrait??

    Can you please tell me how to specify the Landscape format in system parameters. I am also facing this issue.
    The Orientation of my rtf template is 'Landscape' but the report that is getting generated in .xls Format is showing the orientation as 'Portrait'.

  • How to change page setup in reader 10.0.1?

    Can anyone help me out with this one please, each time I print, I need to change the page setup from Landscape to Portrait, I would like to know how to set this as default but only for Adobe Reader.
    I know that if I change the setting on the Printer then this will set it permanently for all applications, but I only want to set it for PDFs.
    If it cannot be done, please let me know, or if this has been fixed in a later version of Reader please let me know so I can try this.
    Thanks

    You cannot. Each time Acrobat or Reader starts it simply reads the attributes of the system default printer. It does not store any attributes.

  • Print the report on page has width larger than height and not landscape mode

    Hi,
    I'm trying to print report on page (Width: 18cm, Height: 13cm) which the width larger than the height.
    The problem is windows keeps changing the page oreintation to landscape and when I change it back to portrait its changing the width to 13cm and height to 18cm.
    I'm using dot matrix printer to print the report, if i put Landscape , printer is printing the text in horizontal.
    Already i have tried to setup the custom for on printer, and used custom page size but it is changing to landscape.
    I need to print the report with out preview, direct print top printer, NO PDF....
    Thank you .....

    Hi Anil,
    After testing the issue in my environment, I can reproduce it. When I set (Width: 18cm, Height: 13cm) as the Report Page size, it would automatically convert Orientation from Portrait to Landscape. Because the Orientation displayed is dependent on the page
    width and page height of the report.
    But in my scenario, the Orientation option just change the Width and Height sizes, it couldn’t affect the text rotation. I guess this issue can be caused by the printer and printer driver, please try to update them. Reference:

  • Landscape option Greyed out in Page setup

    Hi
    I am using Crystal reports Product version 11.0.0.1830.
    I have to edit an existing report, and have done successfully on a number of reports already, but it involves adding a lot more columns to the report, therefore making it too large for paper.
    So far I have gone in to Page setup, and clicked the 'No Printer (Optimise for screen display) and changed the orientation to landscape. This has worked for 2 reports.
    The third is basically the same report, but when I open page setup, the No Printer option is already ticked, but the landscape orientation option is greyed out, and portrait selected.
    Is there somewhere else that this could be set that overiddes this. All the reports have the same printer settings, so I can't see this being the issue.
    Thanks in advance
    Will

    Hi
    I have worked this out.
    For some reason the server was setting the default printer to be the Microsoft Office Document Image Writer, which overides any setting in the report.
    setting a normal printer to be the default printer has worked.
    thanks

  • Rearrange output pages with Oracle Reports

    Hi
    I'm using Oracle Reports Builder 10g and I need help on this subject:
    I'm developing a report divided in sections that reference statistics of the partitions present in an IBM Machine. Each page in the first section appears also in the other sections of the reports, i.e. the first page of the first section (with data from partition A) has the same layout than the first page of the second section (with data from partition B in this case), which is page 14 on the final pdf report, and so on.
    For each 'kind' of page in the final report I use a repeating frame that fills a whole page in the page layout in reports builder (the parameter is the partition), so I get n output pages for each page in the rdf file (n is the number of partitions). The problem: in the resulting pdf output file, the first page of first section appears first, then the first page of second section, and so on. I need the pdf to be arranged in the correct order.
    Can someone help me on this subject?
    Thanks and regards,
    Alex

    Hi,
    We had the same problem at my organization. Our DBA had to install a patch:
    To implement the solution, please apply the patchset to upgrade to 10.1.2.2.0.
    To obtain a patchset from MetaLink:
    1) Click on Patches & Updates.
    2) Click on Simple Search
    3) Select your product, release and platform.
    4) Patch number is 4960210
    Description PLACEHOLDER BUG FOR AS/DS 10G R2 PATCH SET 2 10.1.2.2
    Product Oracle Development Tools
    Release 10.1.2.2
    The Patchset 4960210 is a patch for the Application Server AND Developer Suite
    5) Read any applicable notes before downloading, then click the Download button.
    Note: Please review the Readme file for instructions on how to install the patchset.
    you should launch the installer with the executable setup.exe provided in the patchset, it could shows up a message indicating nothing was upgraded, but the release should be modified to 10.1.2.2
    Hope that helps

  • Page Format for landscape/legal paper for ALV Grid report

    Hi!
    I have a request to set up a particular ALV Grid report as a background job with the report output printing on legal-size paper with landscape orientation.  We currently don't have any reports set up to print on legal size paper.  What do I need to do to set this up?  We currently use X_58_170 or X_65_255 which print on letter-size paper.  I cannot seem to find a page format for landscape legal other than LEGAL which seems to be available only for SAPscript or Smart Forms.  Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    Hi,
    Thanks for you reply.
    I cannot control left and right margin in PDF. Also, it is a PDF file so eventhough somehow you are able to change left and right margin, the content does not adjust itself to fit the legal page (as it does in word or excel).
    Let me know if there is any other option.
    Thanks,

  • Unable To Print or Access Page Setup in Crystal Reports 2008

    I have Win 7 32 bit, and installed Crystal Reports 2008 last week (v12.0.0.683 from the Help window).
    Every time I open a report, and from the Preview tab clicking File -> Print, or File - > Page Setup, I immediately receive a Windows message that "Crystal Reports has stopped working".  After a few seconds, another Windows message displays "Crystal Reports has stopped working - a problem caused the program to stop working correctly.  Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available".  Then Crystal completely closes.
    I downloaded sample reports from the BO website, and still receive the error, so I don't think it's the report.
    When I view the Event Log, I see the following:
    Faulting application name: crw32.exe, version: 12.0.0.683, time stamp: 0x47c8be9a
    Faulting module name: ntdll.dll, version: 6.1.7600.16385, time stamp: 0x4a5bdadb

    Faulting module path: C:\Windows\SYSTEM32\ntdll.dll
    Report Id: 3cfc99e6-8bb8-11e0-b8ef-00248122792c
    I have uninstalled and reinstalled CR 2008 multiple times and continue to receive the same error.  I tried updating to SP1 (Version 12.1.0.892 Incremental) but I receive the following error: "A BusinessObjects product at a lower patch level is detected.  The installation cannot continue.  Please update all installed products to the SP1 patch level, then restart this installation".
    Need to print my reports - any ideas?

    Sorry busy on Support cases and they take precedence over this community forum.
    Very interesting....
    In a test application I use I have this routine to get the local printers:
    private void frmMain_Load(object sender, System.EventArgs e)
         if (System.Drawing.Printing.PrinterSettings.InstalledPrinters.Count > 0)
              foreach(String myPrinter in System.Drawing.Printing.PrinterSettings.InstalledPrinters )
                   cboCurrentPrinters.Items.Add(myPrinter);
              cboCurrentPrinters.SelectedIndex = 0;
         else
              rdoCurrent.Enabled = false;
              EnableDisableCurrentControls(false);
         //For printers exposed to System account as per MS Kbase
         //http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;184291
         //Look to HKEY_USERS\.Default\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Devices
         Microsoft.Win32.RegistryKey mySystemPrinters =
              Microsoft.Win32.Registry.Users.OpenSubKey(@".DEFAULT\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Devices");
         foreach (String defaultPrinters in mySystemPrinters.GetValueNames())
              cboDefaultPrinters.Items.Add(defaultPrinters);
         if (cboDefaultPrinters.Items.Count > 0)
              cboDefaultPrinters.SelectedIndex = 0;
         else
              rdoDefault.Enabled = false;
    Note the MS Kabse on where the printer registry is. Now the odd part is on one of my test development PC's it won't populate the Default User Printer list, only the Local User Printers. I take this same app to another PC and it works just fine. The register keys are there but for some reason on my Windows 7 64 bit it won't show them, the other strange part is I have full access to both keys. I have not been able to figure out why this happens...
    I'm thinking this may be related to your issue.... But I don't have a solution, very strange... I've even gone into regedit32 and set full permissions on the various keys and it still doesn't work...
    I have other VM-ware images if I need to get past that part for testing so I never drilled into why, I believe it has to be some Windows/Firewall/Anti-virus configuration or something our IT department pushed into my local Profile.... What that is I don't know unfortunately.
    I'll do some looking and testing. You may want to post this on Microsoft forums as well.... Ask about printer permissions.
    Thanks
    Don

    i am not enough sure what  you want but you can use justification
    write : / var centered."left-justified or right-justified .
    or you have to format like
    write : /pos(len) Var.
    i.e like
    write : /5(10) var.

  • Accessing Page Setup Aborts Crystal Reports

    CR Version:  12.0.0.683
    OS Version:  Vista Business
    Visual Studio 2008
    .Net Framework 3.5
    Regardless of whether I am in VS or just CR, if I click on Page Setup to change the orientation of a report I am trying to build, Crystal Reports will abort and shut down.  When in VS 2008, it closes that application as well.
    I've installed all known updates to my machine and I've searched the CR Website but have found no further updates for CR.
    Has anyone else experienced this?  If so was a solution found?

    The problem is now solved.
    I opened my printer browser through Control Panel.  I opened every printer I had.  One would not open.  I deleted this printer and used Server Properties to completely remove the driver and package.
    I tried CR 2008 / Page Setup but the program died again.
    I went back through all printers and one by one opened them up again.  This time, I noticed one printer had a message that the driver needed to be updated.  I updated the driver, tested CR and all is well.
    Thanks so much for pointing me into this direction.  I was at a complete loss.
