Report Painter - Add PS master data columns

Dear Experts,
I created new reports for Project System via the transaction CJE2 .
I will wish now create columns containing master datas of the PS objects :
For definition of the project, WBS Elements and networks
- Start date, end date
- Person responsible
- Applicant no
- System or user status ...
These elements are currently only available individually via GOTO menu -> display master data but we wish know if it is possible to put it on colums (for export by excel, HTLM, ...)

I have some queries for report painter.
I have 2 columns, A & B. I've created column C and the first 5 row I would like to have a set of formula such as A10 and for the same column, the row 6 to 10 from column B, I want to have formulate B5-10.
My question is, whether it's posible to have 2 formula defined in the same column because value for each row may need to apply the formula differently.

You can do this, although you need to split the columns into "Sections". You also need to remove the column headers so they are not repeated between each section.
They almost act similar to a page break, without actually breaking the column over pages.

You can then have different calculated key figures within the same column.
To amend sections, go to Formatting > Section Overview/Section Layout.

Go to the report (GRR2) and add the column. Please, try to explain your problem/issue in more constructive way; otherwise, it would be impossible to give a proper answer.

Report painter-want to hide period columns dynamically if the period is not closed

Hi All,
I have made report with 12 columns like JAN, FEB till DEC in report painter (GRR1)
Requirement is that if say, currently only period no.4(APR) is closed and we are in period no.5( MAY) or system date is in MAY, then the report should not show the data for the current period no.5(MAY), eventhough data is there. Or else it should show data for JAN to APR (closed periods)
For this I defined 12 different period formula variables in GS11, based on system paramters like
S008 Year (from Local System Date)
S002 Month (from Local System Date)
S003 Day of Month (from Local System Date)
S012 Current Period in Current Year (per CO Fiscal Yea
But the issue is that eventhough the variable is defined as formula variables, still the default values are given by system and default value only getting passed to the report and thus data is displayed for the unclosed period.
But SAP help says that formula variables are without default values unlike the value type variable.
Any help in this will be highly appreciated.

How to add attributes in Data Column for automatic changes

Hello everybody,
Could you give me an advice?
I have characteristic and attribute assigned to it.
I want to make what when i change characteristic(variable) its attribute in planning layout changes too. So in planning area window in Characteristics Rels tab i made "Derivation, Combination Check and Proposal" with main characteristic and its atribute. Everything works fine, but problem is, that attribute can be only in Header or in Lead column.
In planning layout i want to add what attribute in data column.
Maybe where is other solutions?

char. LEVEL, NAME are attributes for char. DIVISION
DIVISION with master data:

Planning Layout:
In header section is char. DIVISION (variable)
When I select DIVISION with value A, in layout values for attributes should be displayed automaticaly:
DIVISION = A
NAME
LEVEL
(Lead column)
(Data column)

I find solution to do it with Characteristic Rels, but i can't insert char. LEVEL into Data Column, it can be just
in Lead Column.
I don't know how to do it.
Could you suggest something?

Reporting on Alternate Hierarchy master data (HR-BW) thru DSO object

I have a quick question. I would appreciate if you know of any direction to approach this.
We have a hierarchy in a external system that we want to bring into BW as alternate hierarchies. The hier nodes are a bunch of leagacy hierarchies and the leaves will be 0COSTCENTER (R/3 values). After loading this hierarchy in BW, we need to manipulate and add 0POSITIONS to the 0COSTENTER hierarchies from R3 and store this back as another hierarchy (with 0POSITION as leaves below 0COSTCENTER). Now we need to report on this hierarchy and get stats like # vacant position, occupied position, etc.
Have you seen anybody doing this kind of manipulation, reading hierarchy data into DSO object, reporting, etc?
Any idea will be appreciated.

PA0007 - WOSTD ( Number of hours per week)
HRP1011 - MOVAG (Number of hours per month)
Some one in HR Fourms told me that these tables are master data tables and i am reporting on master data
So Anil,Quick question if the data i need is master data can i use the cube u suggested

Query or report for G/L Master data including Tax Field and Description

Dear SAP Gurus
Please help me. I am trying to find a report to display G/L master data at company code level and which includes the tax filed and tax catagory description. Does such a report exist please?
I have also created a query but cannnot add the description of the tax catagory entered in the G/L master data. Can you please tell me if such a table exists which can be used for a query. Besides the VAT code if this is entered in the master data I need to include value and description of the tax catagory such as *, > etc.

Hi,
There is no table storing the description on tax catagory such as *, > etc.
Even SAP has hardcoded the discription in the search help of these special tex categories. For tax codes it picks from table T007A.
You need to create your program with fetching the values for these tax categories.

Report painter add characteristis to a librairy

Like you know we can add some characteristics in report painter into a librairy.
With transaction GCRT, and OSS note 395894 - Numeric variables in reports, it seems that we can add characteristic into a librairy.
Until now I never saw an example to confirm the process to do it. Is it someone can provide one ?

Upload transaction data first BW report don't have master data description

Hi All Expert,
Im newbie to BW.
When i do my task, i upload the transaction data first and then upload the master data (customer, vendor) secondly.
When i viewing my BW report, it didn't show up the Name of customer and vendor.
Izzit because the order of upload transaction data and master data is wrong so i got this problem?
How can i solve this problem? (because i try to reupload the master data again, the name field still blank)

Check in the master data infoobject whether the texts are loaded or not. If not, load the master data texts from your source system.
Just right click on the master data infoobject and click on "Active master data".
If still it doesn't activate, go to Menu --> Tools --> Attribute change run.

Report to display material master data changes

Hi,
Is there a standard report available to display all changes to material master data over a specified time frame i.e all changes made alst week,all chnages made today.
Please suggest.

Hi!
Appart from MM04, you can also have a look at MM03 or MM02:
1. Goto MM02 or MM03 transactions and enter the material.
2. Select the relevant views for which you want to have the details.
In the Bar menu follow the path Environment -> Display changes.
Here you will get the list of changes done to the fields with Old and
New values.
Appart from these two tools, there is not any other report provided in the standard for this target.

Reporting of unused customer master data

Hy experts.
I have to fulfil one issue: There should be many unused/redundant customer master data on our system.
Do anyone knows an report, which shows all unused/unbooked customers?
I have tried RFDUML00 and set the flag "accounts w/o sales", this would work. But one big issue, it doesn't consider archived bookings.

Thanks for your answer, but there is still a question open...
We have 25000 customers with about 1.000.000 postings in BSID and BSAD. If I would run FBL5N I would get a very long list of all postings. Beside this, how can I match this list with the list of all customers?
The solution would be a generated list with one sum per customer. If I would have such a list, it won't be a problem to compare this with the list of all customers in Excel. But up to now, I do not find any list, which would offer this information for all years.

Report Painter - Key Figures in Lead Column

Hello -
I am trying to create a report painter report.
I would like the key figures in the lead column, but right now, I can only choose characteristics.
Anywho know how to be able to select a key figure in the lead column?

Hello,
You have to activate key figure in the library you are using. Use transaction GR22. To activate key figure, juct mark the checkbox.

The following are the steps to import and create "Prospects" via ELM
1. Prepare .csv file (keep stored on local machine)
2. Activate Customizing Workflow (follow C22 building block)
3. Use BADI - CRM_MKT_LIST to enhance the custom fields (via eewb) for filter criterion = Person. This BADI is filter dependent BADI (Mapping Format dependent)
4. Implement SAP Note# 915015 for importing into "Prospect" business role
5. Define List Type(s) and List Origin(s) in SPRO -> CRM -> MKT -> ELM
6. Create Mapping Format - Web UI (log on as MKT_Prof or Power_User -> MKT -> Create: Mapping Format)
7. Add Mapping Format to BADI: CRM_MKT_LIST - Attributes -> Define Filters -> Select you Mapping Format
8. Create External List (Web UI (log on as MKT_Prof or Power_User -> MKT -> Create: External List)- use the Mapping Format
