Report Painter - Internal error: Invalid offset in APPEND-C
Hello everyone,
We are having the next problem when we generate a new report and include it in a new report group and in a library that works with all the other reports,the next error arises:
Internal error: Invalid offset in APPEND-C GR-211
Anyone Knows something about it??

Hi Raquel
in the report definition you use many characteristics in the general selection by using selection variables.
Kindly note that there is a restriction for characteristics in the general data selection - actually only the single values can be
transferred. All these characteristics for which you require 'All values' should be moved to the the rows instead the general data selection.

When i create a transformation rule b/w 0fi_ar_4 & ods 0FIAR_C04
i am mapping the fields which i need rest of them I am not mapping the fields for which i am not mapping leads to errors like

when I map this error I cant see
is it mandtory to map all the fieldsHarish,
not a problem. check which feilds you don't want to map. Make ithose as "No Transformation" for those fields in Rule details.
Note: What ever is possible in 3.X for UR or TR, everything is possible in Transformation of BI 7.0 As well( excpet return table, etc).

I have created an RDL file programatically. When I execute the code I get the error as mentioned below:
Error: Sub report cannot be shown.
An internal error occurred on the report server. See the error log for more details. (rsInternalError)
When I copy and paste the code of RDL file into new RDL file and try to preview the output I get correct result.
Note: The new RDL file does not give any error if the output is seen using preview tab but it gives the error only when executed from report viewer or from internet explorer.
Any Suggestion/feedback is highly appreciated.

when i click on manage for .rdl file, its throwing error , as

When executing a Cost Centre Z developed Report painter report, The values appearing blank on the face of the report but when drilling down to line item level i can see the value exists. This is not a access/security/authorization error as no crosses on the face of the report.
Please advice
M Khanbut the total lines are not adding to zero. in a another report painter report one of the lines value is not equal to line item total! it is quite a strange behaviour that i have never come accross! any clues?

Bug report: ube_ipa: internal error when compiling with -xO5
When compiling imlib2-1.1.2, one source file causes compilation to fail with the following error message:

Changing -xO5 to -xO4 works around the problem. The source file in question is imlib2-1.1.2/loaders/loader_tiff.c
Patch 112756-10 has been applied, and doesn't correct the problem. GCC doesn't have any problem compiling the file.

Searching sun.com for "submit bug report" turned up many forum postings where people asked "Where do I submit bug reports?", a bug report form for Sun One Java Studio, and not much else. It might be in your interest to make submitting bugs easier.Internal errors, such as the one you encountered, are generally considered compiler bugs. They indicate that the compiler reached an unexpected state and therefore bailed out. I opened bug 20703141: internal error: pic_relocs(): hh reltype? to investigate. I see the same error message emitted by the current Studio development release; I will update this thread if I find a work-around.

Report painter-syntax error form 'SEL-L023' already exists

When i copy a report painter form and generate it to the same report group (same as source report) i get an error 'syntax error form 'SEL-L023' already exists. I saw the ABAP code the source and target have same form name.
Where can i change the form name?

Report Painter - Library - Error in Transport
Hi Dear experts,
I have three reports built with report painter in the development system and these are associated with a z library. When we transported the objects, the Tcodes associated with these reports have been transportd properly. but the reports and the library is missing in the Production system. Now, if i execute these transactions from Production system, its giving runtime error, because the linked reports are missing ( report GP2D4I7Z2RKMI4QGRR05RUURZ8F100 load program not found) When i check the same report in development, its assigned to a local development class($tmp). But there are a lot of reports with such long names in the $tmp. So its very difficult to find which are the actual objects to be transported.
Is there any easy way to find the reports and transport? And if they contains some includes, do i need to transport them also manually? Is there anything i can do with the library? I couldnt find the transaction to change the library. So how can i transport the library? We have only 3 reports. but i dont know how many other objects are linked with these reports.
Any kind of help is highly appreciable

the menu "GR22->utilities->transport->transport request" gives some options like Statndard layout, library, report , report group, key figure, etc. We have one Z library and one Z-report group. I dont know about the other itesm like key figure etc.So which options i have to select and run? ( Iam handling these things for the first time) or do i need to run it for each options?

Report painter, Internal orders and profit center accounting

I want to do a report using data from internals orders (AUFNR) and profit center accounting (PRCTR).
I can make individual reports for internals orders (6O1, CCSS) and for profit center accounting (8a2, GPLCA) but I can't combinate data from internals orders and profit center accounting.
Is it possible make a report using report painter that show data of internals orders and profit center accounting.
All my internals orders have a profit center accounting.

Calling report from FORM - error Invalid value of paramente 'P_YEAR'

Could you please help me to figure out what is going wrong
with my form which run a report?
I am using Developer suite 10g.
when i run report from report application it run fine,
but when i call that report from a form it gives me error.
I have checked the datatype, checked the parameter value
that I assign from form is available in the report parameter value.
What else do i have to check in order to run this report

Report Server Internal Error During Report Generation
Hi,
We are running 9iAS on Sun Enterprise server. Though we have
successfully installed Form & Report Servers. The Form Server is
running perfectly but while reports are generated from Report
Server, it gives Internal Server Error (HTTP Error Code: 500) --
The server has encountered error or misconfiguration...
Checking the hard disk, we found that the report in PDF file has
been generated but it gives error being delivered.
We have no idea what had happened. Can someone kindly enlight me
some possibilities?I guess to start with the obvious, IE 500 Internal Server Error resolves to Permission denied: 'GetObject'.
Before chasing that error, what version of CR and .NET are you using?
Once we determine that you are using a version of CR that is actually supported on the OS, we can move on to [Process Monitor|http://technet.microsoft.com/en-ca/sysinternals/bb896645.aspx] to see if it tell us something - look for "Access Denied" messages.

I'm creating the report where I need to calculate annualized P&L. The formula is as follows : (P&L account/Period(variable ))12*
I need to capture the From_period, which is entered by the user on the selection screen when running the report and use it as a variable in the formula above. Example: If User insert From Period 3, then the formula should be *P&L accoun / 3 * 12*
I have tried so many different way but nothing seems to work. one of the ways i tried was:
In the general selection Im using set variable 6P-S-PERIOVB.CCSS for period which consists of variable V_PERIO and B_PERIO.
So Im trying to create a folowing formula:
IF 1 >= u2018PER_FRu2019 AND 1 <= u2018PER_TOu2019 THEN 1 ELSE 16
IF 2 >= u2018PER_FRu2019 AND 2 <= u2018PER_TOu2019 THEN 1 ELSE 16
Unfortunately I keep getting Syntac error in formula. Please help me I'm really desperate to solve this issue after 5 days of unlucky research.

P_fr_MO(2) TYPE N DEFAULT '01',
p_fr_yr(4) type n default '2011'.
Then, to set my range, i would do something like....
data: lv_to_mon(2) type n,
lv_to_yr(4) type n.

then concatenate the from and to variables into what format is needed to read the data...
on the other hand, if the user gives us from and to, we have a different problem....one then has to calculate what part of a year they have and create a factor for multiplying any data values....
for instance if user says Jan (01) to (03) March, then I know that to month - from month + 1 is the number of months I have....
then 12 / that number is the factor to multiply the results by....
example...
data : factor(5) type p decimals 2
months(3) type n.
if p_to < p_from. "adjust if I cross a year boundary....Oct to Jan becomes 13 - 10 + 1 or 4 months.
p_to = p_to + 12.
endif.
months = p_to - p_from + 1.
factor = 12 / months. " factor 12 /4 months = 3 times the values obtained = 1 year.
