Report Painter table RWCOOM

I need to use report structure RWCOOM for a specific report painter report. I would like to include company code (BUKRS) as a characteristic in the report, but this characteristic is not included in that structure. Does anyone know if it is possible to add a charactertic to this structure and if so how? Thanks,

check SAPNET note 407739, it describes how to enlarge RWCOOM (in this case its BELTP) but maybe you can use this as a guideline for BUKRS.
Isn't it possible to create groups / company code for the objects you want to report to avoid enlarging RWCOOM?

Report Painter - Table - GLT0

Hi All,
I am trying to create an Balance Sheet report in report painter. I am using the table GLT0.
I am able to get the current period amount - i.e. net of debit and credit; but i am not able to get the balance carry forward amount for the accounts. Which basic key figure should be used to get the Balance carry forward amount?

I am builiding an report on Balance sheet accounts thru Report Painter. and there if i Put in Period "0" in the selection criteria or hard code it the general selection data.. my balance carryforward figure will be included in the output.
Hopefully this may resolve your query. I am sorry i dont have any documentation on this.

Trail Balance in report painter

Hello Friends,
i want to create trail balance report In report painter(table:faglflext). My issue is if the cumulative balance i.e (Dr. - Cr.) of G/L is positive then the balance should be shown in debit side column, if the cumulative balance i.e (Dr. - Cr.) of G/L is negative then the balance should be shown in Credit side column. will you please let me know how and where to write this logic...

Normally, reports S_ALR_87012277 - G/L Account Balances and S_ALR_87012301 - Totals and Balances serve the purpose of outputing trail balance for accounting staff.

Error while Client copy request - Report Painter

Hi friends,
I am copying a Workbench request from customization client to test client through SCC1. This relates to Report painter report transport for FDI1. However, I am getting the following warning message while transport -
"Program ended with error or warning, return code: 4"
As per my understanding, the above message is a warning message. However, I would like to check if any of you have come across this message? Is this a normal warning message without any negetive system impact?
Request your guidance for the same.

Yes it is a Workbench request. And I am adding the new report to the SAP Standard report menu under Line Item Analysis.
Also, some COPA tables are getting updated in the background. Is this normal? Are the standard report painter tables related to COPA tables in any manner?

Report Painter Library: troubles with new field in the additional structure

Hi, ALL!
I'm creating a new field in the Report Painter table GLFUNCT. Do do it I created my field in the additional structure GLDBZ for GLFUNCT and create an row in the T804C table for new field.
Who has expirience in customizing using T804* tables? What tables should be used and how? I have the following troubles:
- I do not see the new field as characteristic in the library - I don't know the customizing table to set fields from additional structure as characteristic
- in the generated Report Painter program my new field exists but call of filler routine is always disabled

Report Painter YTD data for Balance Sheets accounts

Dear Gurus,
I am working on GLPCT report painter table and I would like to setup a report for inventory accounts with YTD data and not only movement on the current year.
Which parameters (for basic key figures and Characteristics) should I use in order to have the report with 2011YTD data (2011YTD = closing balance 2010 + movements 2011).

The As on Date balance cant be cumulated...
Eg; you bought inventory worth 10 million in Current year and as of now you have 4 million worth of inventory in stock
Cumulated bal in this case is 10 mil and As on Date balance is 4 million... 4 million is what you will get in SAP reports
The same Key figure which shows values in comp code currency can be used

Report Painter - RWCOOM table

Hello SAP Gurus,
We have an issue regarding a report we had created from report painter. The report selects the data from RWCOOM table structure using the following selection criteria.
Controlling Area
Fiscal Year: 0000 - 9999
Currency Type: 20
Version: 0
Our issue is that same internal order appearing twice on the report.
We had checked several sap notes related to this but cannot find a solution. I had checked sap note 111984 but the currency type's selection is limited to "20-controlling area currency" only.

Can anyone suggest what may be the possible cause? The report is related to Sales Internal Order Budget. The report displays the internal order with its actual/budget and available amount.
In addition, what are the transparent tables related to RWCOOM. I cannot find any on SE11 -> where-used list.

can we use two tables while creating a library for the report painter ? mmy guess is on using a view ??
If views, then how to use them in the libray while defining the characteristics n all ??

Change Table in Report Painter

Hi Experts,
I have some Report Painter reports assigned to a Library. I would like to change the table. Is there a a way to change the table without re-writing the reports? I can add a new table, but do not know how to remove the existing table without affecting the report. Does any one have an idea? Please advice.

How to check what table is really used in a certain report painter.
For my case, I want to a report 1KSL-001 under 1VK library, and I can see this 1VK library is using table "CCSS", but CCSS acctually is not a table, its just a structure.
So, how to use what tables are used while running report 1KSL-001?

use KE5B to make the FSV nodes available in Report painter reports. This function can be used to create/change sets based on FSV.

BSEG table in Report painter

Hi All,
I want to create a report using a report painter. For this while creating library, i want to use the table BSEG.
But i am getting an error message "Table BSEG is not installed in report painter".
Then i used transaction MC27 and created Z structure from table BSEG. This solved my problem.
All this i was doing in ECC6.0 version.
Then i tried in 4.7 version, there table BSEG was already available to create a library.
Is it a version difference or we can can directly map standard tables also using transaction MC27 ?
But in ECC6.0, it was not allowing me map table BSEG using transaction MC27. I was getting message that "Evaluation structure name must be started with ZF"!!
Please help me in solving this puzzle!

as per my knoweladge G\L balances display table is not available in SAP so go for t.Code FIS4 (Report Painter) and create Report as you wish.
