Report print setup

Hi All,
My user wants that he just press the button and reports printed with predefined (hardcoded) paper size, printer name etc (mean no page setup window open ).
Can we hard code printer Name, page setup , print size etc in report before printing.
is it possible??
najeeb

Hi AG,
As far as I know, this option is limited to pdf view. It could a nice enhancements in the upcoming versions as I've heard this request many times from various clients.
Cheers,

  • Oracle Reports printer setup

    Hi Guys.
I am an Oracle Applications DBA and I know how to setup printing in Oracle Applications.
However, our client has got one installation of Oracle Application Server 10g and has deployed Oracle Forms and Reports Services.
They have configured printing for Oracle Reports for their setup, which I am not aware of how they did or how it is done in Oracle Forms and Reports.
The problems at hand are -
Problem number 1 - Over here a line printer i.e. 132 column one has been attached to the 10g Application Server from the USb port. The Application server is on Windows 2003 server machine. When we fire reports we can see in print queue request being fired but no putput is coming. If we open Reports builder on a developer machine and from there we fire we do get print out but this time developers machine Print dialoag comes. On developer machine we have mapped to same printer which is attached to the 10g AS machine
Problem number 2 - As mentioned earlier its a 132 column printer so what is the paper size to be picked. From articles it is Letter paper size or US Std Fanfold paper size.
Problem Number 3 - Suppose we try Arabic report since its arabic in the report designer we change direction to Right To Left, if we fire this report some columns almost 20 characters are cut -off. If we fire same report with default direction set in designer, whole data comes
Problem number 4 - If we give output to Excel or PDF i.e. Desformat Spreadsheet or PDF, the arabic data all come out rubbish junk.
Apart from getting help on the above mentioned issues, I would request you guys to help me in finding out how to setup the printing for standalone application server forms and reports.
    Thanks,
    Muneer.

    hello,
submitting your report in the url using a key (yourKey) defined in the cgicmd.dat file would look like
    http://<yourserver>:<yourport>/reports/rwservlet?yourKey

  • Printer Setup for HTML reports (Landscape)

I'm trying to print an HTML report in Landscape, the Report Orientation VI only works with Standard Reports, and I can't find anything that will let me modify the "Printer Setup"
    Anyone done this?

    Jeff,
To print an HTML report it first has to be rendered. To render HTML, you need a browser. For example, you can render HTML in either Internet Explorer or Firefox or Opera, and all three might render the same data slightly differently. To simplify the situation let's say that you're using IE. Once IE renders the HTML, you then have to get it to send the rendered output to the printer. So you can see why it isn't time or cost-effective for NI to try and necessarily support these functions. For the end user however, I'd guess that quite a few people have had this problem.
I have had to do a lot of digging around to get HTML reports to print right. My solution has been to use an ActiveX container with an IWebBrowser2 object (Internet Explorer). This will let you load and print HTML reports programatically however (glancing back over some old code) I don't see immediately how you can print a report in Landscape. With an ActiveX container however you can call the IE print preview function which will let you (the user) modify the report printing to Landscape. It's not a programmatic solution since you have to interact with the GUI but it works. Also, once you set the setting to Landscape, everything printed afterwards using your ActiveX container will also print in Landscape.
Something else which may not apply to you (but maybe--I'll at least mention it) is printing a landscape single image... that's usually why I needed to print landscape... to print out a full page screenshot of a graph or something. I do this in portrait mode by just attaching the control image but rotating it first and adding the HTML code to make it 100% of the vertical page.
Last but not least, if you are 100% set on using a programmatic implementation to print a landscaped report (no user interaction), the best thing to do would be to build on an ActiveX implementation so that your report is being loaded and printed from an embedded IWebBrowser2 object. With the IWebBrowser2 object there is an option for using a pre-defined print template. This option is NOT for the faint of heart and requires you basically to re-program the whole IE print-preview functionality. However, it's not impossible either, it just takes the time of learning basically how the IE print preview interface works and then adapting it to your application (in this case, landscaped printouts). This is also the ONLY way to change HTML report headers and footers. The print preview interface in IE is written entirely in javascript--you can get details on msdn (search for "print preview templates"). However, there isn't really enough info there to do things with any ease. So....
If you get to the point where you get an ActiveX container working and want to fool with the IE print preview javascript templates, let me know. I have extracted the entire template and associated images from the windows DLL it is stored in so I could adapt it and change the headers and footers for my reports and things of that nature.
Now that I mention it, I believe that is the only way also to actually set landscape or portrait--by programmatically changing the printing margins (so it prints 11x8.5 instead of vice versa).
    Anyway, hope that helps...

  • Crystal Report Printing - A4 Issue

    Hello Experts,
One of our customers use third party rental add-on with SAP B1. The add-on has cyrstal reports files. All these reports are set to letter size by default in report page setup. Client does not to print in A4 .
When the user clicks on Print Preview / Print Icon on  rental order the , the report loads, but when sent to Printer for printing it becomes A4 (It should be letter).
The rental reports works fine on the SAP Server, meaning when sent to printer it goes as Letter size which is what we want but this does not happen at Client's machine's.
Also , i have an add-on running on my local machine and the reports prints in letter size with out any issue. I have been searching online regarding this issue but i haven't found any solution.
Can any one advise me on this issue. Is there any setting that i can do in crystal or printer ?

Is the default page size for the client's printer set at Letter or A4?

  • Crystal Report Print report on different paper size (A4/Letter)

I develop the crystal report 2008 with VS.net 2008. The report runs on web.
when I preview or debug with VS on my local computer, the crystal report using A4 (8.3 * 11.7 in), Which is correct.
However, after I deploy the program to the server, and try view and print report through IE, the print out is actually using Letter size (8.5 * 11 in).
Both on my local computer and the server, the default printer is set to A4 size. And on the crystal report, in the printer setup, the paper size is A4 as well.
I try on firefox, and safari. No luck. Same as IE.
The crystal report need to print barcode, and the paper size must be A4, cuz the barcode page is designed and printed on A4 Avery Laser Barcode sheet.
I tried on my PC by using remote server data souce, the printing works perfectly in A4 size (8.3"*11.7").
And I don't know why same program after deploy to the server, then it using Letter size (8.5" * 11"), which the size I never set to.
    So strange.
    Thanks

    A few ideas \ suggestions:
    1) Make sure you are using FP 3.3 runtime:
    https://smpdl.sap-ag.de/~sapidp/012002523100016807202010E/cr2008fp33_redist.zip
    2) Try a simple win app - use saved data report (crystalreportviewer1.reportsource = <path to saved data report>). Does this print correctly?
    3) What print mode are you using; PDF or ActiveX?
    4) Try export to RPT and PDF from your web app. Does it export correctly?

  • Crystal report print button greyed out in user citrix sessions

    Hi,
We are running Citrix Enterprise Server 4.5 on Windows 2003 servers.
We have a ERP app called Epicor 7.3.6 installed on them.
Crystal Reports 9 is installed on all these servers and the epicor app displays and prints crystal reports.
Some users when logged into their Citrix profile session and running Crystal Reports from within Epicor application can not print the Crystal report because the Print button is greyed out.
We have compared users that can print against users who can not not print and not found anything at the network, file permissions, application permissions, printer setup setting level.
Also, if we were to take citirx completely out of the discussion, what might cause the print button to be greyed out in a crystal report when it is displayed (not the developer, but in the minmal window that shows the export, print, magnify options only).
    Thanks
    Chris

Check with Epicor. We don't know how Epicor implemented the solution so it's kinda like you asking a mechnic to fix your car, but he can't open the hood to see the engine.
A tip; this is more than likely due to permissions. So, compare between boxes thast work and don't work. Use [Process Monitor|http://technet.microsoft.com/en-ca/sysinternals/bb896645.aspx] to track permission issues.

  • AP Check printing setups for printing checks on your own

    HI
I am wondering if there a good document which deals with AP check printing with MICR and signature on your own check stock
    thanks

Recently we started to deal with AP check printing in our organizatin. It was a daunting task with the information and resources scattered all over and missing critical pieces of information to make sense out of the whole process flow. We attempted to go through the AP check printing internally and succeded.
I decided to post the information for the benefit of people about the our experience
Check Printing Basics and Beyond for Printing Checks on Your Own
    by
    Sarma Chilukuri
This article deals with what is needed to get your own checks printed. It is a first attempt to uncover all the hidden rules that one should be aware to get your own checks printed. The first section deals with the basic AP check printing setup, while the 2nd half explores some of the flow of events that make it possible to print the check.
    Part I – Basic Setup
    AP Setup for check printing
There are multiple steps in the AP check printing. First set of steps deal with the AP side setups. The second step is to get the System side setups. The system side setup deals with printer setup and program options setups. The last step would be to make the print format files configured with the vendor provided escape sequences in the laser print format file.
Step 1: login as Payable Manager
Step 2: Bank Setup: Navigate to Setup: Payments > Banks
    1.     Make sure the Bank # etc are present
    2.     Tab to “Bank Accounts”, and make sure your account # has been setup
    3.     On the Bank Accounts screen, tab to the “Payables Documents” and verify that Payment format (E.g., COK Laser Format) has been entered. This “Payment format links to next section where we associate it to the right payment program.
Fig 1. AP Payment Bank Setup Screen
Step 3: Program Setup (Setup: Payments > Programs)
As we know there are only 5 formats 3 of which are “Ever Green Laser” (APXPBFE G|L|F) which are explained in the AP Users Guide. For your own form printing, you have to associate the format to APXPFEL (laser format) program. Also, the APXPBFEL or APXPBFEF call the APXPBFEG, which is the base program that pulls the data from oracle base tables. APXPBFEL is the one which allows us to print the checks with MICR and signature on a plain paper not on a pre printed stationery.
Fig. 2 AP Payment Format Setup Screen
    Printer Styles, Drivers setup
The above process summarizes the AP Setup. As a DBA, the printer setup needs to be validated. The base install provides the right setup to some extent. But the differences in printers and print queues may add some complexity to the final configuration. The following section discusses the set up the base install provides and changes as needed.
Step 1. Login as system Administrator
Step 2: Style (Install : Printer > Style)
Look for the “PORTRAITHPLJ4LASCHECK”. This one is associated with the SRW Driver Called, “APLASP” (AP Laser printer format).
Step 3: Driver (Install : Printer > Driver).
         1. The “PORTRAITHPLJ4LASCHECK” is associated with a “User Driver” of PORTRAIT for HPLJ4 and and a SRW driver of “APLASP”
         2. Also notice that there is an Initialization string at the bottom of it. This initialization string gets called as pre-report trigger for the APXPBFEG program (APXPBFEG.rdf) file. It sets the kind of format it should be. Please see the Appendix A for details on these printer pcl code translations. The Initialization string was as follows:
    Initialization: /eE/e&l0o2a7C/e(s0P/e(8U
Step 4: Printer type (Install : Printer > Register)
Each printer type is associated with a set of styles. Make sure the printer that was selected has the above style and its associated driver listed against that.
Fig. 3 System Administrator Printer Seups
Step 5: Program Setup (Concurrent > Program > Define)
This step holds the key for check printing. It is necessary to define whether you need the check on top followed by the Stub or the other way around. The way it is controlled is based on the APXPBFEG.rdf, the report definition file and the APLASP.prt (Printer Style associate with the Portrait laser check format SRW driver). The APLASP.prt file ($FND_TOP/reports) has two identical setups called the 100 series and the 200 series. Those identical sets of setups define where the MICR and signature print on the check. The following table lists the some of the codes in the 100 series. Please refer to Doc ID #146452.1 for complete details.
Fig. 4 System Administrator Concurrent Program Definitions
    CODE #     Code Definition
    100     Electronic check activation string
    101     1st Check #
    102     2nd Check #
104     Deactivate check number mode string
    111     Activate MICR line
112     MICR Deactivation / reset the printer head position
    121     1st Signature
    122     2nd Signature
    141     Address font activation string
199     Return to default state string
    Table 1. APLASP.prt -- MICR Activation Codes
The above code block repeats itself the same way in the 200 series. The decision to activate one way or the other controls the Check printing.
Step 2: Setting up the Option block
In the concurrent program definition for the APXPBFEL, there is an Options block in the middle. You need to list the codes that you want to activate. Please refer to Doc ID # 186640.1 for some explanation on these.
    E.g.,
    p_printer_code_mask="201,211,221,241" p_sig2_amount="" p_sig3_amount="" p_sig1_vendnum="" p_sig2_vendnum="" p_sig3_vendnum="" p_country_to_ignore="US" p_continuous_stationery="N"
Step 3: Output format is Text
Text format is sufficient, as the printer will pick up these escape sequences anyway.
Fig. 5 System Administrator Concurrent Program APXPBFEL Options Definition
    UIPRINT.TXT, UIFONTS.ALI
One needs to be aware of a few more pieces in this puzzle. The UIPRINT.TXT identifies to the Oracle Applications the print queues that were setup. This file is needed to set your PCL / Post Script printer definitions. I did not have to really tinker with these files other than identifying the PCL and Post Script Q’s that were setup on the UNIX box.
Part II: Integrating all the pieces
The above setups are all documented in various articles. We need to understand a few more steps to see how all these pieces come together.
What you need to know about APXPBFEG.rdf
APXPBFEG (.rdf) is the report file which when called pulls the data from Oracle. If you open the APXPBFEG.rdf in the Oracle reports, there is initialization to the report called, SRW.Init. This will bring in the initialization string associated with the PORTRAITHPLJ4LASCHECK driver definition file. Also, please be very careful with this report format file. When you open it, there is small tiny empty block. in the first block which calls the printer initialization code 100/200 under the Format Mask (from APLASP.prt). If this portion gets changed or messed up, one can end up with some unexpected results. Each of those blocks like MICR, CHECK etc… have associated format triggers and printer codes.
Please make sure that the printer mask is properly handled. I noticed that the 200 series MICR (211) and Signature (221) printer masks were tied to 111 and 121 respectively. These should have been 211 and 221. The other place you need to be careful was the printer code before and after is proper.
    For E.g.,
For the MICR, the ”printer code before and after columns “ should be 111 and 112 (or 211 / 212) respectively while Format Trigger should reference to 111 (211).
Fig. 6 APXPBFEG rdf file printer mask and Format Triggers
The escape sequences in the APLASP.prt file for these codes will play the crucial role in getting our format around the report output that gets generated from the APXPBFEG program. Please refer to the explanation of these escape sequence codes in the APPENDIX A.
At this point when you run the program, you will see that the formatted output report file will have all the initialization strings and the output associated with that. You can compare the fields and verify the results. Let us closely examine the parts of the 111 and 121 where the micr and signature prints. The key to this to code the escape sequences the right way to get the associate MICR and signature print out correctly.
Fig. 7 APXPBFEG rdf file MICR printer mask and Format Triggers
Code 111 and Code 112 from the APLASP.prt file.
I broke the line into pieces to illustrate the exact escape sequence code.
    Code "211"
    Part 1: esc "&f0S" esc "&f0y0X" esc "&l0E" esc "&a0L"
Part 2: esc "(8M" esc "(s0p8.00h8.0v0s0b80T" --- This will be provided by the ROM

    Part 3: esc "&k15H" esc "*p3215Y" esc "&a13.8C"
    code "212"
    Part 1 : esc "&f1x3x8X"
    Part 2 : esc "&f1S"
Let us go over these 2 sets of codes carefully.
    Escape Code     Meaning     Comment
    esc "&f0S"      Push Cursor Position
esc "&f0y0X"     Define Macro ID 0 and Start Macro Definition

    Summary
One can print their own checks using the above steps. This can work as a cost effective solution for small organizations where the budgetary constraints are tighter. We are successful in getting the AP Checks printed using the above method.

  • Report Printing in Apex 4.x / Oracle Linux - Need Help

    Hi
I am new to Oracle Application Express tool. I am trying to setup an Oracle Apex environment to start a new application development. So far, I have completed the following:
    1. Installed Oracle Linux 6.3
    2. Installed Oracle 11g Express (64 bit version). As you know, Oracle Apex is bundled in this.
    3. Completed the installation as per the documentation provided, and it works fine (I tried the following).
    - Able to connect to the DB via SQL*Net from other machines in the network.
    - Able to run Apex from other machines in the network.
    - Created new workspace and applications (pages etc) and they work fine.
    4. Downloaded the Apache FOP 1.1 binary and extracted the files under /usr (the extract created a directory fop-1.1 under /usr and all fop related files are there under this.
    5. Tested the fop by running "fop -fo <input_file> <output file>" from the $ prompt. It works fine.
Now, I am stuck at setting up Report printing. Please note that, other that what is mentioned above, we have no other software installed on the server. Can someone guide me on how I can setup report printing with this software setup? Please help.
    Thanks

    Hi,
With APEX you have two options for configuring a print server for PDF printing. BI Publisher and Apache FOP. The Apache FOP options actually refers to a J2EE app that we ship with APEX (see /utilities/fop/fop.war in your installation folder). This .war file needs to be installed on OC4J and then your APEX instance needs to be pointed to a specific URL in your print configuration, see more details here:
    http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/developer-tools/apex/application-express/configure-printing-093060.html
When using the database 11g, you'll also have to enable networking services, which is also covered in the documented I mentioned above..
Given what you outlined in your post, I'm assuming you're using the embedded gateway (built-in web server in the database). As an alternative, you might want to look at the APEX Listener, which actually has FOP built-in, so in your APEX Instance Administration you would only have to select the APEX Listener as the print options, and all the other config steps would not be needed
More information on the APEX Listener can be found here:
    http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/developer-tools/apex-listener/overview/index.html
    Regards,
    Marc

  • Add (+) printer in Sys Prefs Print & Fax makes Print Setup Utility crash!

Something is wrong with System Preferences Print & Fax pane, or something else... From there, I can't add any new printers. When you click + below the list, it's supposed to launch printer setup utility? But it does nothing what so ever.. or that's what I thought until I looked in Console to see what's going on (if anything), and the console reports that the printer setup utility crashed. It launches fine directly from Utilities. What gives?
Here is the crashlog report, if anyone can make sense of it:

  • Migration Oracle 11.5.10.2 on LINUX..Printer Setup

    Hi there
We are in the middle of migration of Oracle 11i (11.5.10.2) From UNIX to LINUX, The DBA setup printer on UNIX and they all are working fine , and the same printer DBA setup for LINUX, and users are able to print reports on the same printer, but some how I get following warning in my FSG
Output is not being printed because:
Program failed to set the report print style
And In AutoSelect program in Payment Batch (Payables) I was getting following error.
An error occurred in getting printer driver information from the database for printer type --PASTA Universal Printer Type and print style DYNAMICPORTRAIT
APP-FND-01406: Cannot find a printer driver for printer type --PASTA Universal Printer Type and print style DYNAMICPORTRAIT
Cause: A printer driver for printer type --PASTA Universal Printer Type and print style DYNAMICPORTRAIT does not exist .
Action: Check that print style DYNAMICPORTRAIT is supported on printer type --PASTA Universal Printer Type and a record exists in FND_PRINTER_INFORMATION
Concurrent Manager encountered an error while running Oracle*Report for your concurrent request 2159522.
Review your concurrent request log and/or report output file for more detailed information.
    Solution:-
SO What I did I removed the User Profile Value for Profile Printer, and now the AutoSelect program is working fine...
My Concern is that "Did we setup Printer properly for LINUX?"
How I am going to find out that Printer (Driver) is Setup properly?
    What else I can Check?
    Any Inputs Appreciated.
    Thanks
    ASIM

What if you change the driver name to something else, does it work?
    - Login to System Administrator Responsibility
    - Navigate to Install > Printer > Types
    - Query "--PASTA Universal Printer Type"
    - For Style DYNAMICPORTRAIT, change the driver to PASTA_PORTRAIT (or any other driver name)
    - Bounce the CM
    - Check then
How I am going to find out that Printer (Driver) is Setup properly?Run Pasta Printing Setup Diagnostic Test, Note: 264118.1 - Pasta Pasta Printing Setup Test

  • CS5 crashing during print setup

Everytime I click on Print Setup in the print dialog box, the application crashes.  This happens everytime, regardless of what printer I use.  Attched a screen shot and can supply the .txt file from the error report if needed.

Crashing in NTDLL usually means that a driver did something wrong -- in this case it would be your printer driver.

  • Printer Setup Utility and trouble with CUPS

Good day! I'm hoping that someone here might help me with a pretty frustrating problem I've run into.
I'm not sure what prompted this, but for some reason, I can't seem to add any printers using the printer setup utility (PSU). I reset the printing system through the PSU, and now, when I try to add a printer, one of three things happen: 1) PSU stops responding, and I have to force quit it, 2) I get the message "error-service-unavailable-error", or 3) the "Add a Printer" window just closes, as though it succeeded, and returns me to an empty PSU screen.
Now, after wrangling with it for a bit, I found that when I went to the CUPS web interface (localhost:631), I couldn't navigate throughout it. That is, localhost:631 brought me to the interface, but I couldn't get to any of the rest of the interface to let me look at printers, etc.
So, I suspected that it was a connectivity problem on port 631. Sure enough, I ran nmap and got "631/tcp closed ipp." I tried opening it on my router and on the firewall, to no avail. So, I mucked around /etc/cups/cupsd.conf and set CUPS to listen on Port 631 (even though it should have already been listening already on localhost:631, according to the .conf file), and voila: nmap yields "631/tcp open ipp"
Too bad that's not my problem, it would seem. Now, all that happens is I try to add a printer, and the dialog closes when I press add, to no effect.
I've tried using the Printer Setup Repair Utility ( http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/26660&mode=feedback ) to check all my permissions and setup, as well as replace the cupsd.conf file, which only renewed the 631 port problem), repairing my permissions, changing permissions on /var/spool/cups to 700, trashing the files in /Library/Printers/, restoring them, restarting cupsd, restoring the cupsd.conf file from the cupsd.conf.default file, most everything I can think of.
And one more symptom: when I try to delete printers using the CUPS web interface, I get a 403 Forbidden message reading "You don't have permission to access the resource on this server." I tried the suggestions on http://www.oreillynet.com/cs/user/view/cs_msg/9184 to no avail.
So in short, I'm hoping that someone has some suggestions, ideas, or solutions? Anything would be great. I've been stuck on this for a couple days, and I'm going to be needing a printer pretty soon now.
Thanks in advance for your help!
    Gratefully,
    a.

I'm still struggling with this problem: whenever I try to print, the application from which I'm printing freezes. I've attached the error report from one such instance of attempting to print from Preview. Maybe someone could help me make sense of it?

  • Printer setup utility crashes

I am running 10.4.8 on my iMac G5. Up until a few days ago I was successfully using two network printers that I have in my home. One is HP Photosmart 3310. Suddenly it stopped working, and I uninstalled and reinstalled and updated the software and drivers countless times. I kept getting a "printer not supported" message. Now when I try to install ANY printer I get the following message midway through the process in printer setup utility:
The application printer setup utility quit unexpectedly.
Mac OS X and other applications are not affected
Click reopen to open the application again. Click Report to see more details or send a report to Apple.
    Can somebody help me please??

I think you left out some details-
The Photosmart 3310 is a USB printer, so to make it a network printer you are sharing it? From a Mac?
Here are some generic troubleshooting steps to try:
    Repair permissions (Disk Utility).
Delete Print Prefs - search for (File>Find) files that start with com.apple.print and delete them all and reboot.
Reset Printing System (new in Tiger) - In Printer Setup, click this menu item found just above Quit Printer Setup.
If there is a downloadable Combination Updater from Apple, use it to re-Update OS X.
Try Printer Setup Repair from www.fixamac.net.
Use a Disk Utility like Disk Warrior to repair the HD, or start from the Install DVD to use Disk Utility to repair the hard drive.

  • No Safari - no Printer setup utility

I have an Epson CX6600 printer scanner. I had created PDF files and tried to print one. I got the message that the application Printer Setup Utility has unexpectedly quit. I tried various other files and kept getting the same message. Then I went to reset my Printer Setup Utility and it would not open.
Soon after Safari would not open (no layouts come up). Even when I ask for a new window nothing happens. I reinstalled my original software, which is OS X 10.3.5, tried again, with the same results. I don't even know how to upgrade back to 10.3.9. After reading other forums I decided to go to a different partition and I found the same problems. Yet Internet Explorer works and my email program works. However, all my bookmarks are at Safari, so I would love to get it working again as well as having my printer print.
Some context about the problem. I had been creating and saving PDF files, which is what I was trying to print. I had recently installed Virtual PC and Windows XP Home.
Any answers! Would be very grateful.

    Hi syncopat!
    Have you run Repair Permissions?
TO REPAIR PERMISSIONS ON THE STARTUP DISK
1.Open Disk Utility, located in Applications/Utilities, and select the startup disk in the left column.
    2.Click First Aid.
3.Click Verify Disk Permissions to test permissions or Repair Disk Permissions to test and repair permissions. (I never Verify. Just run Repair.)
Rerun RP until the only messages reported are listed in this link.
    Spurious Permissions Errors Using: 10.3.x
When Repair Permissions is complete. Quit Disk Utility.
