Report required with Storage Bin

Hi,
I need a report that contains the Material Document number and the Storage Bin. Anyone know of the transaction I can use. I did it a yr ago and it worked so I know it exist, just can't seem to find it again.

MI21 Physical Inventory Report Sort by Storage Bin

Hi gurus.
I am working on INVENT, copied to ZINVENT SapScript and one of the requirements is to sort the report by Storage Bin. Currently the storage bins are fetched at print time item by item, not using an itab.
Is there any way to sort the items by Storage Bin (MABDR-LGPBE) in the code?

Hi Subas,
That's the problem, that field is not included in the items itab. This field is populated at item level, item per item when print form command is sent to SapScript. It is not stored in any itab.

Problem with storage Bin

My request is like
in material master i have assigned Storage bin ( WH2 view ) but at the time of creating Transfer Order if user put different storage bin then system accept that at post the material to other storage bin .... ( not puting material in storage bin mentioned in material master)
i want to block the TO if user mention any different storage bin at the time of creating TO
PL. HELP

Report requirements with Average value , forecasting value & Prod Quant.

Dear Friends,
I need a help in Reporting.
The reqirement is like this:
1. I need to display the daily production quantity.
2. Also the Average value of the Production quantity for a month.
3. And the Forecasting value for the first day of next three months.
4. Restricted Cal month on filters with variables and calday in columns and
keyfigure in Rows.
I have tried to calculate the Average but as the report is based on cal day it gives me the average value for all cal days. But i need it for the entire month.
Plz help me in solving this report with your golden ideas!!!

Thanks for your early response.
Actually i am unable to use tcode: KKBC_ORD rather able to use KKBC only.
Using KKBC (Target/actual/production variance) and activating collective order from setting option only able to see the details for a particular leading production order only relating toa particular period .
My requirement is to display all the production orders settled in a particular period along with (Material code /order number/ Qty/Actual value and variance value).
Note: If any leading order exists then that should be collective order i.e.(value and Qty should come against the leading order number).
If there is any standard tcode exists please let me know else provide the tables and logic to bui;d up such a report.

I need a calirification , I have 2 plants which we assigned to single warehouse no , now i how i create bins i have to create seperate bins for each plant . bcs one plant is phycisal plant other one logical plant .pls help me out.

Basically you assign warehouse to Plant & storage location in Enterprise structure-Assignment-LE-Assign WH number to Plant & storage location
Under warehouse you will have storage types & under storage types you will have storage bins.
Bins will be created under storage types & not under plant.Warehouse & storage types will represent for both plants. No separate bins are created for plants.

I uses the Inventory Module not WM. In the Material Master Record specifically at Plant Data / Storage 1 view, my client used the storage bin field to specify where the material will be storage.
I need to know if exists a report to display the Warehouse by storage bin.
I appreciate any help.

As far as I know not possible.
We developed Z report for similar requirement.
This storage bin is only significant if you do not use SAP warehouse management. It appears on goods receipt/issue slips.

My client wants a report where in MF60 they will get the required quantity to be transferred from raw storage location to production location.They want a report in which the stock to be transferred from raw storage location is in which storage bin.
Is there any standard report for this

You can also use this report : LS26 to get an overview display per material.
Or you can use LS03n per WM,storage stpe, storage bin to get history.

Check the table MLGT(Material Data for Each Storage Type).
MLGT-Matnr (material number)
MLGT-LGNUM (Warehouse Number / Warehouse Complex)
MLGT-LGTYP(Storage Type)
MLGT-LGPLA(Storage Bin).

You need to have Warehouse management in place in order to view the storage bins for materials,
MMBE of MM cannot give you the idea of storage bins.

SU Storage Type with Fixed Bin Putaway

Hi,
When I am activating SU for a new Storage type with Putaway strategy F then system gives the error as
" If you have st.pl.str. "Fixed bin", the area check must not be active" Message no. LT071
Does it mean Putaway strategy F is not to be used for SU managed storage Type?
or is there anyway to solve the above error?

I receive the same error (LT071) if I set T331-PRBER (storage section check active) whilst putaway strategy (T331-STEIN) is "F".

Are you using T331-PRBER and T331-STEIN paralelly? If yes, why?
If I just activate SUM for a storage type with putaway strategy "F", there's no problem

How to Unblock a Storage Bin With an Inventory Active Flag

I have a storage bin that shows as being blocked by an Inventory active flag, but the inventory document has been canceled. I can't even view this document since it was canceled. Anyone have any suggestions?

Hi,
You should be able to click on the bin master data (click on bin # and go to inventory tab) and take the recent inventory doc # then go to li02 and delete the inv. doc. That will solve your problem.
You could also try LX22: Edit > Deactivate.

Material count by Storage BIN wise with WM impelementation

Hello,
Users are counting the materials storage-bin wise.
The issue is, there is no WM module, ONLY MM module is implemented.
Whether its possible to design a solution that will allow creation of Physical Inventory documents and performing the same storage bin-wise.
Since its not possible in standard , then whether the enhancement/development to be done or how it can be addressed?

if any material is just stored in one bin, then you can enter this bin in the storage location view of material master.
MI31 selection screen allows you to create inventory documents for certain bins only.
Further you can sort the items in the inventory document by bin

Production Order to storage bin link

I went through the logic you provided. Also the requirement has changed a bit. The client wants to track all the material movements related to the orders (261 and 101) with bin numbers. The selection screen is going to be order numbers or material numbers and a date range. It will be either (order no + date range) or (material no + date range).
For order no within a date range, I am passing all the materials in MKPF and looking for material documents posted within this particular date range. Then I am going to MSEG with these material documents and looking for the entered order numbers.
Now, since the MSEG table is too big and the order number is not a key field, I find myself in a big performance issue. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
