Report Ret Add set to default after upgrading to 5.1.0-314

I upgraded to 5.1.0-314 on Apr 10, 2007, and since that time I never received any periodic scheduled report as usual any more.
Today I just found that the Report Returns Adress has been change back to:
"IronPort Reporting" <reporting> so it is the default setting.
Previous return address was:
"IronPort Reporting" <postmaster@our_own_domain>
email reporting@hostname was being rejected since it doesn't exist.
Why it's changed back to default? I search on the current XML configuration (after and before change the return address) and never found keyword : reporting@hostname value at all.
So Weird. Anyone experience the same issue? or anyone from Ironport could explain this?

Unfortunately that's a known problem. In the AsyncOS 5.1.0 ReleaseNotes IronPort say: "Upgrading to AsyncOS 5.0 or later from a previous release will erase all scheduled and archived reports from your system."

Problems with set up disc after upgrading hard drive

I am having problems starting up my Macbook after upgrading the hard drive from 80GB to 160GB. The new hd is SATA, a WDScorpio. The pins on the end look the same, and I've had no problem with the physical install. When I go to start up the Macbook, I get a gray screen and the "flashing manila file w/a question mark" icon. I load the disc while holding down the "C" key, and all that happens is the disc gets ejected. What am I doing wrong? I also have my hd backed up w/time machine in an external hd. Any ideas?

Turns out, my problem is a malfunctioning optical drive. My Macbook couldn't read the set up disc. This is the second time in a week that I have had this Macbook into the apple store for warranty repair work. Last week, It was a defective VGcable. Each trip to the Applestore is 115 miles round trip from where I live. I tried to get Apple to give me a new computer, but no dice. I even had a district manager in Boise Idaho hang up on me. It's too bad when they know they have a product which everyone loves, and wants to use. They can set the terms. How many things must go wrong before they just replace the @#$# thing? I bought the Macbook Feb 12th, so it's not that old. I have handled it with the utmost care. Anyway, I've tasted the forbidden fruit, and will continue to use Apple products. Thanks for your help. I'll probably have a much easier time with a computer that works. (knock on wood)

Report Writer Issue - Revenue Cost Element - After Upgrade.

Hello ,
   After upgrade some of the report writers are not pulling up all the plan data.
   I found out that the revenue cost elements (cost element category - 11) are not being pulled by
   report writer in ECC 6.00, where it used to pull them in 4.6C. These postings were done to
   our budget version using KP06.
   These revenue cost elements postings are not stored in COSP. I dont have any idea in which tables
   they are stored.
   Does anyone have any clue about this.

Its a report writer report developed here..(not standard one)
The cost center is a revenue cost center. So when we post our revenues we post it to this revenue cost center.
The issue is in 4.6C env it used to pull this data, but in 6.00 it is not pulling.....

Setting auto set to default, after ret

Hi?I'm currently using Vista 32-bits OS. Using x-fi xtreme music with latest Vista software. When i set?the creative software to?operate in 5. speakers setting, after i do a restart on my system. It will automatic restart to a default 2. speaker setting. It apply to everything i set in the setting. any idea how to solve this issue?regards?

Can't add files to HD after upgrading to Lion

hi,
i just upgraded to lion and now i can't drag and drop files from my desktop onto my macintosh HD icon. i get the error popup window "The item (filename) can't be moved because "Macintosh HD" can't be modified" then I need to click on the "Authenticate" button on the popup window, type in my password for the system and then it will add it to my mac hd.
i'm sure i just have something locked or set wrong, but i've never gotten this error before.
does anyone know what i need to change or do so i don't have to authenticate each time i want to drag/drop something onto my HD?

thanks for your reply, after running repair permissions several times (which was a good idea because several were corrupt) but did no good for this issue, i went to look at the permissions for the hd and everything looked good, system had read/write anyone else had read only. i added myself (my computer administrator name) with read/write permission and now everything works as it should

Cannot set display resolution after upgrading to Mavericks

I have early Mac Mini connected to KVM stitch. Over the weekend I upgraded to Mavericks and it "dowgraded" display resolution from 1920x1200 to 1600x1200 and everythign looks streached. 1920x1200 no longer shows on the list in display properties (1920x1440 shows but it does not look good on my screen). I googled Option key trick and hitting "Scaled" while hold Option key does show some additional resolutions, but not the one I used to have.
Connecting Mac directly to the monitor allowed me to set proper resolution and after removing monitor and pluging mac back into KVM things "held" untill Mac goes to sleep or until reboots.
I am aware that my KVM switch does not communicate EDID but things did work just fine before upgrade to Mavericks.

It sounds like you are getting a graphical anomoly when unplugging an external monitor. I recommend these troubleshooting steps from the article named:

Reset the system
You can reset the Mac's parameter RAM and SMC.
Reset the resolution
Start by resetting the Mac's parameter RAM. If the display does not come up, was previously set to an unsupported resolution, and still results in no video:
Start up in Safe Mode.
From the Apple () menu, choose System Preferences.
Choose Displays from the View menu to open the preferences pane.
Select any resolution and refresh rate that your display supports.
Restart your computer.

HELP! Mail icon won't go back to default after upgrade!

I used Candybar to customize my icons. I had made PNG files for just about everything. After I upgraded to Snow, my Mail icon now shows as a PNG preview icon, instead of what I made, and won't go back to it's Default (blue eagle icon).
What I've tried:
- Mail info, repasting new icon, no go.
- Candybar, redoing new icon, no go.
- Mail info, cut preview icon, no go.
Help! Do I have to reinstall Mail or something to get an icon back? Nothing works! Even new PNG or ICO files!

HT4061 My Ipad is aking for a passcode but i never set one up after upgrading ios

I bought an ipad saturday. Sunday i upgraded to ios 7. Once completed, i turned it back on and was working fine. Late that night, I asked to put a passcode but i never set up for one. It didn't asked to put a new passcode when it was upgrading. No i can't get to the screen until i put the 4 digits code. Please help... thanks

There are three things you can do.
1) Type 0000. That is normally the standard passcode, or try 1234.
2) Do a reset by holding the on/off and home buttons together until the Apple logo appears.

Can't add songs to iTunes after upgrade to OSX Lion

Hi,
I have a problem since I updated my system to OSX Lion. While updating I migrated my iTunes library to my new system. I have a custom location of my music library on HD/DATA/MUZIEK. My library in iTunes is playable but I cannot add any songs to it. It says I don't have the right permissions. I have tried to restore disk permissions with the Disk Utility to no avail. I also tried to change the permissions of the mentioned folder. It says System: Read and write, Wheel: Read, Everyone: Read. I cannot change these values. Everything inside the music folder is set the same but I am able to change it. There is only one user installed on this Macbook Pro.
I would very much like to know how to solve this. Please help me.

Column not set to default after insert

Hi,
I have a column defaulted to 'No', when I insert into table without providing value for that column thru SQL plus, column valued to 'No'. when insert thru APEX form, column is set to null. Any advise is appreciated.

I have similar problem and question.
I have form with checkbox T/F. Checkbox has mandatory column (VALID) in underlying table with default value 'F'.
Table:
USER (firstname, lastname, valid)
If checkbox is visible on form, some value is inserted into the table.
But checkbox is conditionaly invisible for some users and when they want to insert new record APEX is generating insert statement (Automatic Row Processing (DML)) with all columns of the form and not only with visible columns.
This is generated insert:
insert into user(firstname,lastname,valid) values ('John','Baker',null) and it raises ORA-1400: cannot insert null into VALID because VALID can not be null.
Correct insert statement should be:
insert into user(firstname,lastname) values ('John','Baker') because VALID column is invisible for some users
I think that update statement do this (update only visible columns).

Setting Apache back after upgrade

I just upgraded my apache to version 2, however, i decided that i didnt want to as its a different version from the remote server and i want to go back to the version that came with os x. However, i've completely lost it from the preferences's pane, web sharing is uncheckable now. How can i put everything back right without having to reinstall the OS?

You should be able to download a previous version of Apache from here http://httpd.apache.org/download.cgi and then just overwrite the one that you are using now.
If that doesn't work than you could open the Package contents of your OS Install CD's/DVD's and find the Apache.pkg and re-install that.

Mac: Can I add 3.6.23 after upgrading to 8.0.1 and run either one?

I upgraded but I am supporting a student who is enrolled at Agora Cyber Charter School in the k12 online school system. That program only supports Firefox 3.6.23 at the highest. I want to be able to run that older version when I go online for Agora purposes but run the latest version for other work. Is that possible on MacBook Pro?

Setting up Mail after upgrade to 10.4

I recently upgraded to 10.4.5 and find that my Mail is not working anymore.
It will not allow me to import mailboxes.
When I try to get new messages, nothing happens.
It also will not close properly. It freezes when I try to quit the program.
