Report S_ALR_87011964

Hi,
While generating the report S_ALR_87011964, it get generated only with SAP_ALL. It is not generated for this other profiles which has this Tcode in Menu.
Env - SAP R/3 4.7.  We are upto date in patch level. Could not locate any auth failures too. No SU53 report. It just says.. No data selected..
I tried with ST01 and ST05 also. Any help is appreciated.
Anything to do with S_ALV_LAYO ? I have this auth in both roles.

  • Error in report S_ALR_87011964 [Asset Balances]

    Hi,
    I am facing an issue with asset balance report generated through S_ALR_87011964.
    Issue details
    Asset Value - 10,000 US$
    Life - 10 Yrs
    Method - Straight line method
    Date of purchase - 01.01.2008
    Depn per annum - 1,000 US$
    While i run the report as on 31-Dec-2008 Accumulated balance generated through S_ALR_87011964 and GL account balance report from FBL3N is matching perfectly. US$ 1000 in both the reports.
    But when i run the report S_ALR_87011964 and FBL3N amount captured in S_ALR_87011964  is half of the Amount posted in GL accounts
    Accumulated Depn posted(report through FBL3N all the relevant GL accounts are included)as on 31-3-2009 = US$ 1,300 US$ 1000+300(as on 31st Dec 08 + depn till march 2009)
    Where as accumulated depn as per S_ALR_87011964 report = US$ 1,150. US$ 1000+150(as on 31st Dec 08 + depn till march 2009).
    Planned depn as per AW01N is US$ 100 Per month.
    How can i solve this issue,

    When you click on the button All selections select then the option current book value.
    The report is a simulation in the most cases the values are the same but with some depreciation keys not.
    When it is for a periodical postings depreciation area do then first the periodical posting run

  • Report S_ALR_87011964 Asset balances does not match AW01N

    In march 08, useful life of one asset is reduced to 4.4 years
    effective Mar 08.
    Accordingly - system has revised Plan Deprn figures from march 08 to
    through Dec 08 & planned book value is nil as at Dec
    08(These calculationa are perfect).
    Then Deprn run was executed for first quarter of 2008(Calender Year).
    For this asset, Deprn posted was 19007.41 (5001.95(Jan)+5001.95(Feb)
    +9003.52(Mar) & this amount matches with GL as well as Asset values in
    AS03(aw01n).
    Now issue is when we run report s_alr_87011964(with Current book value)
    as at report date 03/31/08(Mar 08) - it returns Acq value 300117.10 & Acc deprn
    200078.06 & book value 100039.04(these values are as at 01/01/08) - hence it is not taking the Deprn
    figures of year 2008 - however for all other assets - this report
    displays perfect info & matches with GL & AW01N.
    When we run this report with Report date 05/31/08(may 08) or later - it gives
    correct value.
    Kindly advise as to why Asset values does not match with Asset report for this particular asset.

    If you are executing the reports for previous / future years - execute them as of last day of the fiscal year
    The execution for current year can have any date of the fiscal year for report execution

  • Issue with report S_ALR_87011964

    Hi Gurus
    I have executed teh report  S_ALR_87011964 but some assets not shown  assets such as 25698 (class 4000).  Compare this to asset 25650 (class 2000) which is also rs0 value but this asset is shown in the report
    any idea why it is not shown?

    Hi,
    the report only shows active assets at report date. If the asset is retired, it is not shown.
    Second issue could be that you do not have authorization for a certain asset class. Execute the report with SAP_ALL authorization should answer this ...

  • FI AA: Issue with report S_ALR_87011964

    Dear Friends,
    Client would like to run asset balances report # S_ALR_87011964 on any date of the month instead of last day of month.
    if i input any date other than last day of the month it is issuing error message "Report date is invalid". Please guide me is there any confing to be done to get desired functionality.

    Hi Santosh,
    Your observation is correct. This reports works only for the last day of reporting period. It will not accept any other date. Also there are no configurations to be done there as it is a standard report.

  • PS report does not equal to asset balance report

    Hi SAP Gurus,
    We have this problem where PS report S_ALR_87013557 is showing higher amount than the Asset Balances report S_ALR_87011964.
    Have checked on the transactions and found out that some postings are not yet settled to asset that is why the amount is different. However, there are instances that settlement has been done to Asset but it did not reflect to Asset Balances report. Is there a way or report so that I can further check on discrepancy?
    Also, is there any existing report where I can view all postings made to WBS element or even project definition?

    Thanks for your response.
    Receiver in settlement rule is  fixed asset, but some did not have WBS in asset master, maybe this is the reason.
    Have checked report S_ALR_87013558, though I'm not sure what is Commitment column all about?
    Can any one help the purpose of the commitment column and in what scenario it will reflect to actual column?

  • SAP Standard report to view the asset balance- Based on the calender year

    Any sap standard programs are available to view the asset balance based on the calendar year not for the fiscal year. 
    Asset balance report S_ALR_87011964 will display based on the fiscal year in report date. For example I want to view the September month asset balance, Any standard report to view the calendar year wise output.

    Dear Gunasekar,
    in Asset balance report S_ALR_87011964 you can view also a calendar year, you can enter every Reporting date in the progrm.
    In RABEWG_ALV01 you can enter also a Capitalization date "from to". I think this is what you want.

  • Standard Asset Report considering Down Payment Differently

    Hi
    I am executing a report S_ALR_87011964  it gives a out put including a asset which has been acquired in current month and for which 50% down payment has been paid. Another report based on FS10N for that asset executed output excludes that asset for which 50% down payment has been done. Why output of both the report is different and exactly to the amount of down payment I am confused with the logic of both report is it any other way to consider asset for which some down payment has been done.

    The FI report FS10N only shows balances, no down payments.
    However, the asset balance sheet  report S_ALR_87011964 in asset accounting does show these type of payments on the asset. The logic of these reports are not the same and therefore should not be compared.

    I have solution for your requirement.
    Go to Tcode OAVI
    Create new entries.
    Difine a name for the sort version and enter description for the same.
    Choose fields for display in standard SAP asset reports.
    For your case enter table name ANLAV field names MENGE, STORT, and KOSTL. etc
    Here you can choose various other fields also.
    Then use this sort version while runnnig the SAP standard asset reports.
    By using this sort version you can able to to see the quantity, location and cost center fields available during any any asset balances report. So take a printout of the asset balances report S_ALR_87011964 - Asset Balances by Asset Class along with the above fields and go for physical verification
    Note: This development you can directly do it in your production system
    This will defenetely fix your requirement.

  • Asset Balances report for reconciliation with G/L account balances

    Hi all,
    the assets in the dev system are in 2001
    Im derpreciating them for every year and tryin to bring them into 2007.
    but when I depreciate evry year I cant check the asset balance of that year.
    The standard SAP report S_ALR_87011964 can only be used to check assets balances of current year i.e. 2007.
    How can I check the asset balances of year Im depreciating like 2002 or 2003 for reconcialition with G/L account.
    Suggest me a T-code or a procedure

    a. Use asset report S_ALR_87011990 and
    b. Sort Version - 0003
    c. Give your General ledger account if need be in field BALANCE SHEET ACCOUNT.
    d. Use History Version - 0001

  • Difference in GL balance and asset report

    Hi Experts
    The scenario is difference in the asset report and GL report for the year 2009. The year is not yet closed in asset accounting.I have run the ABST2 and it shows difference  in the GL for AUC .The asset balance report S_alr_87011964 & s_alr_87012026 report shows a difference and also verified with the asset table. The opening balances in FS10N for 2010 is C/F correctly from 2009.The GL balance is more than the asset balance due to incorrect updation in 2009.I have referred the note 104567 and 69225.There are more than thousand line items in the transaction of this asset of either t type 100,105 or 130 .The history report does not show values for this asset also since this is AUC there is no chance of depreciation not being posted.
    Since the GL balance is more than balance in the asset report I cannot pass any adjustment entry using ABF1. How can I identify which particular acquisition is not updated in the asset table and how can I fix to ensure that the asset and GL tally with each other.Kindly advice.

  • Problem in depreciation report for an old company code

    Hi All
    Our client has migrated from one company code to another from 1st jan 2009.
    Now the client wants an asset report for the year ending 31.03.2008 ( fiscal year 2007). The company code is the old one.
    When I am trying to run the asset report for the fiscal year 2007 the system is giving an error that fiscal year has not been closed.
    When I am running the tcode "AJRW"  the system is asking to post the depreciation. The depreciation has already  been run for the year 2008, then why  the system is asking for running the same.
    Plus is there any other way out by which I can get the asset balanaces report( s_alr_87011964) for the year ending 31.03.2008.
    We migrated to new company code on 01.01.20009. The balance sheet for 31.03.2009 is for new company code.

    Dear PS experts,
    is there any standard report on AUC numberwise ?
    pl help in giving the tcode for the same.
    all the capital investment projects, before making final asset/capitalisation, ps system generated automatic  AUC (Asset Under Construction) number. we would like to see all the AUC numbers generated by ps irrespective of final/capitalisation of project.

    i am looking for a std report which is exclusively has the auc numbers. these auc numbers generated with different numbering range.  but the said report s_alr_87011964 is only showing the final asset numbers.
    i reiterate the process of mine, before creating final asset, ps syster generate the auc number and keeps adding the various costs incurred during differnt periods in single auc number for a capital investment project. after creating the final asset, i am creating settlement rule in project for this asset so that auc amount is entirely transferred to this asset. once auc is zero, we close the project and auc is deactivated automatically.
    now requirement is there any std report of knowing the only auc numbers.

  • S_ALR_87011964 - Different figures by different users

    In our case,two users are executing report S_ALR_87011964 for asset balance.  However, they are getting different figures on execution.  Why this is happening so ?

    Always check selection parameter of user, manytime this happens when different user use different selection parameters and they get different values.
    In case selection parameters are same then check user authorization. e.g. if particular user is not authorized for any business area, asset class then user will get report output as per his authorization.
    If authorization is also same then reconcile both report by each asset class.

    Evaluation groups are majorly used for asset reporting purpose.
    These are part of master record. So you can maintain master data information in this field to identify an asset in asset accounting module.
    In our company we are using evaluation group field as sub asset class.
    Ex: For Asset Class Computers Hardware.this asset class will cover so many things like desktop computers, laptop computers, servers, etc.
    If you want a report for asset balances in this asset class, it will give total balance of the asset class. So in this case if you create one evaluation group for each item (desktops, laptops), you that you can get the balances for that particular item.
    Create one sort variant with evaluation group field ORD41/ORD42/ORD43/ORD43/GDLGRP. (TCODE-S_ALR_87009120 - Define Sort Variants)
    use this sort variant while u are running asset balances report (S_ALR_87011964 - Asset Balances by Asset Class)
    so that you will get balances for each type of asset within one particular asset class. (Create output layout according to your requirement for asset balances report)
    Anyway we are using this field as a category of asset under each asset class. according to your requirement you can use this field for other purpose to identify in asset accounting.
