Report showing Bundle Version
We have about 20% of our workstations that are not getting the ZCM update to version 10.0.3. They are still at version 10.0.1.
Is there any way to get a report showing all of these workstations? The console is just too slow to have to click on Configuration>System Updates>...etc.
Thanks for any advice.
I found the zdevice table. In the ZenAgentVersion field there is some XML code which lists the version numbers of all the bundles. Granted there are several version numbers in this field, I was able to write a "slice-n-dice" MS Access string to pull out the first Version Number:
Mid([ZenAgentVersion],InStr(1,[ZenAgentVersion],"registration")+23,8)
This looks in the string for the word 'registration' then moves to the right 23 characters, then pulls out the next 8 characters, ie: 10.0.3.2, or what ever it may be.
This is not a very definitive solution. Would you be able to send in your sql query?
Thanks

Oracle Discoverer report shows drilldown icon in Web version
Hi ,
I am trying to create a new CROSS TAB Discoverer report. I made all my development done using the Discoverer desktop edition and is fine. When I saved in the database and showed the same report the User, in the Web Version, the report shows ' >' icon in all the cross tab headings and when the cursor is moved there, it gives an option to Drill down.
We have 3 fields which are selected but not shown in the report. It shows the drill down to those 3 fields.
My questions is:
1. I should not allow users to drill down. It should not show that option.
How to disable that option in the Web Version.
Any help in this regard is highly appreciated.
Thanks & Regards,
Kiran KesariYogini is correct, but the solution provided will remove drill capability for all users under all circumstances. This is a "shortcoming" of Disco. If you set up a hierarchy for the users to use for drilling, the users must have the drill out privilege. This has the additional effect of adding the "Drill to related..." feature to most (and I believe all) columns.

VAMT 3.0 Duplicate Client Machine ID Report showing excessive number of computers
We are running a KMS on a 2008 R2 VM with plenty of CPU, RAM and storage. I recently configured and installed the Volume Activation Management Tool 3.0. Everything seems to be working well except that reviewing the Volume License
Reports, specifically the Duplicate Client Machine ID Report, I noticed an excessive number (about 4 times the number of actual managed computers) are listed in this report node. Even assuming that computer images were not being sysprep'd this
seems really odd. The License Overview shows 1,813 licensed and 1,678 unknown (possibly off or disconnected devices) and our duplicate CMID report shows about 8,300 plus. What are the possible causes why this number is so high and how do I troubleshoot
and remediate inaccuracies?Duplicate CMID can come if you didnt used /generalize option when sysprep'ing. (http://blogs.technet.com/b/askcore/archive/2009/10/16/kms-host-client-count-not-increasing-due-to-duplicate-cmid-s.aspx)
Please check your KMS's log, to be sure if true or not. If duplicate, it will be logged by your KMS's host.
In virtual, like XenDesktop or View with a golden image it can easilly happen, as the CMID is kept by the server for the virtual's machine (aka the PVS for XenDesktop)

Hi Yagmoth555, thanks for the reply. I know this is not the case for our environment as it's telling me that physical systems that were installed with the ISO have duplicate ID's. Also, the previous version of VAMT that we were running didn't show
1,560 systems as having the same ID. I have already deleted every "product" from the database and rescanned our environment, but I get the same result. -
Hi All,
I am using the report/program RPT_MOPZ_COPY_STACK_XML to copy the stack xml file I used from a previous upgraded system. Systems are identical. However, report shows below..
"Software Component Version KRNL64UC7.20 [01200615320200013056] differs between <System1> and <System2>"
and
Software Component Version SAPJVM6.1 [01200615320200012982] differs between <System1> and <System2>"
However, this is not the case when checked, it's strange that this particular component has the same version between the two systems, but the report says they differs in version.
Please help check how to resolve the issue.
SAP notes mentioned in below KBA were already obsolete. Solution Manager system just upgraded to 7.1 SP11.
1711612 - RPT_MOPZ_COPY_STACK_XML Report Troubleshooting.
We would appreciate your response for us to resolve this issue. Thanks.
Regards,
PhilipHi Jansi, Divyanshu,
Both system have the same patch levels.
Here the situation, SYS1 is where we generated the stack xml file. Afterwards, used that stack file to upgrade SYS1.
Now we built SYS2, ensuring it has the same components version with the un-upgraded version of SYS1, so yes they have same patch number for same components, for this issue, kernel and jvm.
Thus, instead of running MOPZ for SYS2, we used RPT_MOPZ_COPY_STACK_XML to convert the stack file of SYS1 to be used for SYS2.
This is where we encountered below messages, when performing the copy.
"Software Component Version KRNL64UC7.20 [01200615320200013056] differs between <System1> and <System2>"
and
Software Component Version SAPJVM6.1 [01200615320200012982] differs between <System1> and <System2>"
We previously used SOLMAN 7.0 SP23, and the report is working fine there. Then recently, solman was upgraded to 7.1 SP11, and now the report is not working with the above issue.
We would appreciate if you could share actions on how we can fix the issue.

ERP Upgrade: Changes in Reporting in new version ECC6.0
Hi Gurus,
We are just in upgrade process from 4.7c to ECC 6.0. During the test we ascertained that there are certain changes happened in the reporting functions und the reports are not showing some necessary fields in new version. For instance the reports RFDOPO00 and RFKOPO00 are replaced by RFDEPL00 and RFKEPL00 in ECC 6.0, which do not show some important fields of old report. SAP says they are standard reports in ECC 5.0 /6.0.
How can we maintain old reports (in general, not specifically these above mentioned reports) from 4.7c in our new upgraded system ahead instead of new reporting standard of ECC6.0.
Please tell me the steps to solve this problem.
Regards
SIMNo, there is slightly difference in reporting between both versions ERP 4.7C and ECC 6.0. For instance in old version 4.7c we can produce reports (RFDOPO00 and RFKOPO00) with Subtotal and Total by currency by making check mark on both these items. In new version this items has been removed. There are also some more items which are not offered by SAP in new version.
As we have decided to keep some old reports in new system, Can you therefore please tell me how we can keep the old reports in new version? -

RPT_MOPZ_COPY_STACK_XML shows SC version differs
Hi All,
I am using the report/program RPT_MOPZ_COPY_STACK_XML to copy the stack xml file I used from a previous upgraded system. System is identical. However, report shows "Software Component Version MDM_CONNECTOR710.711[01200615320200018572] differs between <System1> and <System2>".
However, this is not the case when checked, it's strange that this particular component has the same version between the two systems, but the report says they differs in version.
Please refer to screenshots below.
Could anyone advise to resolve this or any workaround? Thanks.
Regards,
PhilipHello,
Are you sure that the versions are the same?
If the MDM CONNECTOR 710.711 differs in Support Package level or patch level, the check will be wrong. What is the complete entry in LMDB or SMSY for this software component in the two systems?
Best regards,

TestStand report shows a passing value as a fail
I ran into a possible bug that I'd like to get some feed back on. Attached is a sequence and VI that when run in test UUT every other iterations value for the step (i.e. next UUT) the result is maintained from the last UUT and it show up in the report. Iit is a stripped-down-to-nothing version from the acutal test sequence on the floor with some stuff to simulate the error.
The step does have the ignore error on and this situation happens when an error occurs but I would not expect the previous test result value to show up. Run the sequence and see what I mean. It generated a report that makes my manufacturing floor question the stability of TS.

The reason are getting failed with a measurement from the last good UUT is because of many compounding issues. The sequence has the default setting of "Optimize non-reentrant calls to this sequence", which basically tells TestStand to cache the runtime copy of the steps in this sequence to improve performance for each subsequent call to the sequence. So the Step.Result.Numeric value will not only be maintained each time you call the step within an instance of the sequence, but now also subsequent sequencial invocations. Next, notice that the report says that you had 10 iterations executed with 0 passed and 0 failed. This means that you got errors on all iterations. Now a looping step reuses the step result as it executes each loop, and the final summary result is a snapshot of the last iteration. Since you are ignoring errors, the numeric value on the step result never gets updated, so the final summary step result is the same as the last UUT. The looping code then sets the loop status to Failed because no iterations passed.
Look at the attached report to illustrate the behavior. The report shows you the results from each iteration as well as the parent summary result.
In general ignoring errors is a bad idea, but assuming that you want to continue to ignore errors, you can do one of the following in order or ease and best behavior:
1) Add a preexpression to set Step.Result.Numeric to a failing value, such as zero or NAN
2) Uncheck the "Optimize non-reentrant calls to this sequence" setting, so that a default value of zero will be used for Step.Result.Numeric
3) Add another step after the one you are running to see if at least one iteration passed or failed.

Update before a report shows with bind variable
I need to update a table before a report shows. This report have bind variable and I need bind variable value for clause where in update, how can I do that?
I would thank so much any ideaMery,
If I understand correctly your application should display a report when it is called.
But first, before the report is displayed, you want to update a table, using a bind variable passed into the report when it is called. Do I understand correctly so far?
So while editing the report, in the last tab option you have (Additional PL/SQL Code), you need to put some pl/sql code into section titled '...before displaying the page.'
declare
begin
update table_x
set column_x = somevalue
where column_y = bind_variable;
end;
I haven't yet passed bind variables into reports so I'm not quite sure how to retrieve them, but I'm sure there are other postings here about that.
I'm mostly just trying to clarify if this is what your asking, and maybe somebody else can answer the rest of your questions.
Good luck.

Print link on report shows 'no data found' when LOV has not been used
Hi all,
I have a simple standard report that queries data based on the value in a Select List. This Select List allows users to pick a year for the report. The LOV has a default of TO_CHAR(SYSDATE,'YYYY').
If I open the page using the associated Tab everything wotks OK. However, if I open the page via a button on my home page, the prink links fails:
The page opens OK, the select list defaults OK and the report shows the correct data. However, if I click on the 'Download as CSV' or 'Print' links I get 'no data found'.
If I update the LOV to 2010 everything works. If I set it back to 2009 evenrything works. I just cant get it to work when I open the page.
I have tried adding computations to get this to work, but this does not seem to help.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
MartinHi,
It would depend on what has been added, if anything, to the redirect. The redirect should just function as though you had typed in a URL into the address bar and pressed Enter. The page doesn't get submitted, so any data entered onto the page itself is, unless it is already in session, lost. A button, however, should submit the page and Apex will store all values in the session. So, if the value you need for the LOV is from the previous page, then this is the preferred method - but, note, that the redirect can also store values provided the page item name and the value is included in the redirect's URL string

MC$4 report shows PO value in wrong currency
MC$4 report shows PO value in wrong currency EUR (EURO) eventhough PO
was created with SEK (swiss) currency. Report picks data from info
table S012 that also reflects wrong currency.
Please check attached example....
Currency is getting picked up in table S012 info-structure from company
code table T001 (PO belongs to) not from purchase order.
This is certainly bug in standard SAP LIS report. This is inbuilt LIS feature given by SAP & we cannot do any fixing.
Can you provide solution how we can correct this error. How to display correct currency in report & info-structure S012.hi
in the report the system might be taking the co code currency
what u have to do is go to MC$4 press ctrl+F7
u will get the currency change option change it to what u want
