Report showing items without transaction data (materials without sales)

Hi,
I need to create a report (in BW for retail), listing all the articles that has not been sold for a given month and store (plant). My thought was to create a report, setting a condition listing quantity = 0 and set Access type for result values to Master data. But this is not working.
Having tried the standard SAP slow seller query on the material movements qube (0IC_C03), I did not see this giving me materials with no movement.
Anybody have any tips how to solve a query where you need to list master data that does not have any transactional data in the cube?
My only thought is to create a new cube, and fill by looping on my material master and looking to the transactional data and if there is not hit, the material has not been sold that month, but I'm hoping for a smoother solution.
Any help is much appreciated.

thanks for you reply.
I have tried the query with show all master data and condition quantity = 0, and this list a huge list of articles, (to me it seems like the whole material master). Luckily it's not a huge retailer, the material master is aprox 50k records. But the output did not seem to be correct. And it was slow. And again, no store will be keeping the whole material master for sale, so this will list everything, not just the ones relevant to the store.
My second option will require more work, by updating a "no sale" cube/dso and loop on all master data, but this will be done once a month, and then the work is done at evening/nights, and the report should be fast. It's not to much work to create the routine, but running it I assume will be time consuming.

Hi,
You can load transaction data without loading master data.
You have the option in the info package to load data even if no master data exists..
You may use it in cases where your transfer rules/update rules or routines donot refer to master data tables to populate transaction data..

IW69 report not fetching all transaction data of current month.

Dear Guru Ji,
While doing testing IW69 report, i noticed that it is not displaying current month data. It is only get the data uptil last date of past month data in DEV & QA client.
I wonder why this is happening?
I tried using Malfunction start date & notification reference date input. But still the same result.
Please guide me, what is going wrong?

The selection option 'notification date' is based on notification date (VIQMEL-QMDAT). Transaction IW69 is used to display notification items - when there is no item data in the notification nothing will be returned.

Report showing Total Stock of individual materials and not specific to Sloc

Our requirement is to display the current Stock of every individual material with its description and not Storage location specific..
We dont want the Stock specific to Storage Locations.We need the overall Stock of individual materials.

CRM Interactive Reports show only current year data

Hello,
We have configured CRM Interactive Reports for IC scenario (CRM 2007) and are using reports like 'Service Ticket Volume', 'Service Ticket Closure', etc.
The issue is when we run reports (through IC_Manager business role), they only display data from January 2009 onwards. There is lots of data available in the system for 2008 which we can see from the backend. And we are also selecting date range that includes 2008. But somehow the report only shows tickets from Jan 2009 onwards.
Any clue why this is happening?

Report showing independent requirements for several materials

Hi
Workiing in SAP 4.7
Looking for a report where I can see independent requirements over time, for several materials, based on a time characteristic such as month/week. So for example I want to see the independent requirements for 10 different materials in a list, with the time characteristic on the horizontal axis.
Is there any such report? I am NOT asking for MD05/MD06/MD61/MD62.

Query all Employees Elements without effective date

Hi,
I need to make a query shows a list of employees with their elements without using the effective date,
because when we use the periods and effective dates the suspended assignments will not be shown in the report ....
Also it should not be related to Payroll processing ! simply Employee name or number and what element he has
Ex:
Emp# Element Value
10002 Basic Salary 6200
10002 Housing Allowance 2500
10002 Mobile Allowance 300
10452 Basic Salary 10000
10452 Hou........................ etc
Even if this employee is suspended or not included in the Payroll Process ...

I want to report all basic allowances or benefits which is given to each employee while hiring him, for all employees...
I want to report it as fixed values even if it is not processed this month ..
Basic Allowances like:
1. Basic Salary.
2. Housing.
3. Transportation.
4. Food.
5. Mobile.
For example:
John is a new employee joined our Company as a manager, then Our Payroll unit entered his Salary and related elements to be paid monthly !
Now we need to have a report shows all employees with their Allowances, without looking in the payroll run or the assignment status...
Our HR Dept. needs to review all salaries and allowances.

AR aging report--from transaction date

Hi
Presently the 7/4 bucket aging report shows current and invoices no of days past due i.e. 31 days due past due date.
Is there a report or any way by which this aging report can be generated to show aging from transaction date.

Aging Reports by default are generated based on Transaction date only and not based on GL Date. Please explain your requirement clearly

You can take the report of the FI accounting document for all vendors based on the company code and the posting date ( input the present date) in the T code- S_ALR_87012991.

Question: to have different 2 key dates to show time-dep master data.

I would kindly like to ask your suggestion in this challenges.
In our Finance report e.g AR Report, we have 2 Year to dates of Key Figures. 1) Current Year to date, and 2) previous Year to dates. We want to have the report shows time-dependent master data navigation attribute based on this 2 year to dates.
I am thinking to have 2 Key Date selection parameter in the report e.g. 1) Current key-date, and 2) Previous Key-date
The report above will show COLOR as per key date. If the posting is 'Previous YTD', the COLOR will show based on 'Previous Key Date', and if the posting for 'Current YTD', the COLOR will show based on 'Current Key-Date'.
The question are:
1) What to do for customization if we want to have 2 key dates in Query or Report? If you have experience it before, could you please share?
2) If you think that there is other way, feel free to share it.

CIF of transaction data from ECC to APO

I wanted to know where we maintain the configuration for real time transfer of transaction from ECC to APO.
I know for master data we have an option in CFC9 for real time/periodic transfer. Is there any similar config for transaction data too like sales orders etc.

To allow online transfer of changes to transaction data from SAP R/3 to SAP APO, you have to activate generally the BTEs in SAP R/3.
This is done in R/3. This is the path:
SPRO --> Integration with Other SAP Components --> Basic Settings for the Data Transfer --> Change Transfer --> Change Transfer for Transaction Data --> Activate Online Transfer Using BTE

Then of course you will need to generate and actiave your IModels.

MD07 - MRP: Why shows me materials without exception messages?

I need MD07 to shows me only materials with exception messages. I have 700 materials with MRP and the materials without messages are messing my analysis. Is that possible?

Thank you very much for your answer. When I go to Plant Parameters there's no Exception Messages setting under any of the 6 sections (Environment, Master Data, Planned Orders Reporting, Planning Run or Performance).

Query showing all customers with or without transactions

The content of the cube are all customers with transactions only. I want to create a report that will display all the customers with or without transactions. I tried to create a multiprovider combining the sales cube and customer master data. I created a query but it only displays the customes with transactions. Is there any other way wherein i can generate a report showing all customers with or without transactions?

Hi
You can load the transaction data without loading the master data. You have to check the option in update rules (update also if no master data exists).
In reporting you will not be able to see the attribute and text data. Its always adivceable to load master data first and run apply hierarchy/attribute change and load the transaction data.
