Report - Status of a specific advertisement showing 900 resources when only deployed to 100

we have a strange problem where we run the "Status of a specific advertisment" is showing some bogus data.
We deployed to a collection containing 100 PCs and the report for that collection ID shows:
Accepted = 300
Rejected = 5
No Status = 600
I found another report to get us more accuate information via CCMexec.com.
My question revolves around the default report is showing wrong information? This isnt this first time its happened. I am guessing its an issue with our database?
Anyone have any suggestions?

What Report did you find on ccmexec? Without this info it is impossible answer your question.
If you look at the query on ccmexec and within the report, what is different between them?
My guess based on the fact that you need to enter in Collection id, that is the major difference between the two of them queries.

    Greetings All,
I just moved a database to a new server/host and was troubleshooting a problem I had with Enterprise Manager, and ran the command “lsnrctl status”. See results below.

During my troubleshooting the EM problem, I had added the following code to the listener.ora SID_LIST_LISTENER section, and re-started the LISTENER service. I was thinking that my EM problem had to do with the database not registering itself with the listener:
        (SID_DESC =
          (GLOBAL_DBNAME = prod01.sr.net)
          (ORACLE_HOME = C:\Oracle\product\11.2.0\dbhome_1)
          (SID_NAME = prod01)
        )How can I correct this?
I think I should somehow remove the instance with a status of UNKNOWN (see <<<<<<<<<<<<<< ???? above).
    Any recommendations please?
    Thanks,
    Bob

It is nothing to worry about when you see the same instance showing up twice, once with status READY and once with status UNKNOWN.
READY means listener knows this because PMON of that instance told him so (dynamic registration)
UNKNOWN means listener knows this because of SID_LIST entry in the listener.ora (static registration)
Both is useful. Nothing broken here, so no need to fix it :-)

  • JSF page shows runtime error when application deployed in local oc4j server

I developed a wsrp portlet producer based application and delployed it in oc4j application server. But when I open input.jsp page url which has JackBe portlet mashlets on it in web browser.
I get an error 'mdsId=/oracle/adf/portlet/wsrpPortletProducer1_1223631729156/ap/E1default_e62a8fe5_011e_1000_8002_ac144d7e5e23.pxml not found'.
Oc4j, oracle database instance and JackBe presto are running on same local machine.
I am using trial version of JackBe presto. Similarly while installing oc4jpdk, I do need to change ORACLE_HOME path to oc4j from oracle database folder which stops running of my oracle database(Oracle10g) instance on my machine. Please suggest me with possible solution pointers to resolve it.

    Hi
Thanks for the input. I checked at the forum you referred to. I did not find any similar question discussed on the forum. I highly appreciate if you suggest me few exact pointers to this issue. I am losing on time and appreciate quick response.

  • Allowing specific users to view resource mailbox only

I want to add select few members to view meetings that are booked with a room. I want these users to be able to find out more information than just the time. I have one script that I know works but I think that there is a better way.
Add-MailboxFolderPermission -identity "[email protected]:\calendar" -User [email protected] -AccessRights owner
If I don't want to make them a owner is there a different word I can use?

    Hi,
There's many to choose from, look at the AccessRights description here:
    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd298062%28v=exchg.150%29.aspx
Reviewer is probably best for what you're describing.
EDIT: Also, just FYI, these are all described in the builtin help as well. If you're wondering about what a cmdlet can do, your very first step should be Get-Help cmdlet -Full.

  • Report using excel sheet as data source not working when deployed to production.

I have a set of SSRS reports that use an excel sheet as a datasource.
Now when I preview the reports or run them in the Visual Studio IDE on my local machine i.e
the development machine, the reports run fine & display all correct results.
However, when we deploy the reports to the Production machine which is on a separate server,
the following error message is displayed :
"The current action cannot be completed. The user data source credentials do not meet the requirements to run this report. Either the user data source credentials are not stored in the report server database, or the user data source is configured not to
require credentials but the unattended execution account is not specified. (rsInvalidDataSourceCredentialSetting)"
I've copy pasted the connection string used for connecting to the excel file as reference :
    Provider=Microsoft.ACE.OLEDB.12.0;Data Source=C:\MyFolder\CurrentFile.xlsx;Extended Properties="Excel 12.0;HDR=Yes;";
The excel file has also been uploaded to the machine housing the reporting server (i.e to C:\MyFolder location)

    Hi Aaakar,
From the error message, please try to change the setting of Credential type for the data source on report manager as follows:
Go to the Data Sources properties page.
For the Connect Using option, select Credentials stored securely in the report server.
In User Name and Password, type credentials that can be used to access the database. If you are using SQL Server as the data source, the user name must be valid for both logging on to the server and for accessing the database that contains the data for
    the report.
If the user name and password are credentials for a Windows account, select Use as Windows Credentials.
If you want the report server to pass the credentials of the user accessing the report to the server hosting the external data source, click Windows Integrated Security. In this case, the user is not prompted to type a user name or password.
For more details about Configure Data Source Properties, please see:
    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms155882.aspx
    Hope this helps.

  • Granting Run Report permissions on a specific report only

    Guys,
Is there a way to grant access to users only on a specific report so that users can run that report.
For example, we want to give access to a user group on a report "All deployments for a specified package and program".
    Environment: SCCM 2012 R2
    Steps Performed:
    1. Created a security role called "Run specific reports"
    2. Selected permissions for this role are ONLY, "Run Report" under Packages node
    2. Added user group TB\XYZ in this role
    As a result:
    - User groups TB\XYZ were added in the security of all the reports in category "Software Distribution - Package and Program..."
    - Users run the report "All deployments for a specified package and program" but don't see any values in Package drop down list. If we supply report parameter (package ID) in the report URL, it still does not work and shows incorrect
    parameter value.
    - Users can see all other reports and folders in SSRS e.g. when they access
http://servername/reports - this is not what we want.
    Requirements:
    1. What we want is to grant user group access only on one report "All deployments for a specified package and program" and all the related reports so that users can drill down further reports.
    2. User cannot read data using SCCM console
    3. User should not see/run other reports (we want to provide users direct report URL passing package/program ID as a paramter)
    -- S Ahmad

How is granting read permission only to those object that you want them you have access to giving them too much permissions?
The permission in CM12 R2 are far better (from a reporting stand point) than in CM12.
Exactly which report are you trying to grant accces too and why?
What is the business case for this?
I just want to grant permissions on "All deployments for a specified package and program" report in such a way that users can further drill down to following three reports:
-Status of a specified package and program deployment
-All system resources for a specified package and program deployment in a specified state
-Package and program deployment status messages for a specified client and deployment
So total of 4 reports. In SCCM 2007, it was easy to give access in the properties of the reports only (asp based reporting). However in CM12 (or R2), reporting is based on SSRS and what I've found is that we have to grant rights on objects those are part
of above reports e.g. packages, collections, workstations etc.
Giving "Run Report" rights to users does not grant access on view the information related to packages, collection or workstatons so report shows as blank. Another problem with "Run Report" permission for "Packages" in Security role is that it grants "Run
Report" access to all the reports in Software Distributions section.

  • Scheduling Crystal report from Infoview portal doesn't show up data

"The crystal report is based on a SAP BI query. The parameters of the report are basically the parameters(SAP variables) of the SAP BI query. When we run the crystal report in the CR Report Designer tool, it runs fine showing all the data correctly. Then we published the crystal report to the Crystal Enterprise Server from the SAP BI system. Through the Infoview portal, the user clicks on the 'Schedule' link for the report and sets the parameters. When the 'Schedule' button is clicked, it runs successfully but no data is seen in the report except for the template. But under the same report, in Infoview portal, if the user selects "View" link, sets the parameters and then clicks the 'Execute' button, it runs successfully showing all correct data.
Dont understand why it works for 'View' link but doesn't work for 'Schedule' link. Is there any setting that needs to be made for this?"
    Thanks in advance,
    Sri

Once you tick the schedule button the History window opens and you should see your instance. Status is usually pending and after a refersh (scheduled for run now) you should get the status running/successfull or failed. What is your status here and what happend if you tick on the instance once you get the status successfull?

  • Second battery does not report status correct - probably BIOS bug

    Hi,
I have a T61 laptop and recently bought a second battery (for the CD drive slot).
The problem is, the status of the second battery is not properly reported. Sometimes it doesn't show the status (charging, discharging etc.), sometimes even not the capacity. This is a problem, as this can cause my laptop to shut down when one battery is running out of power, while the other is still full.
This happens both in windows and linux. You can see some more details here:
    https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=17832
I'm pretty sure that this is a bug in the BIOS. Is there any way I can contact the people who are working on the BIOS? I tried to use the web support form to get in contact, but the support told me to contact the nearest service center - not very helpful.

On its home page http://www.ngolde.de/yacpi.html is a mention that there may possibly problems with battery status. You should probably try to contact the developer.

  • Enforcement states for a deployment report status is not refresh..

Enforcement states for a deployment report status is not refresh.
We have deployed patches by software update and monitoring status by checking report
Enforcement states for a deployment. We have observed status difference in report and in actual PC. Status of One PC is
Downloaded update in report  but actually that patch was
    installed on PC.
why this difference and what is the solution to solve this.

Hi Garth - I don't recreate the SU group. I recreate the deployment from
    the SU group.
The SU Group contains all deployed updates and the deployment is a "catch-up" and targets a collection of all clients on the particular platform ie. Server 2008 R2. It's a mandatory deployment and I've set it to report "all messages" as opposed to the default
    "success and failure".
There's no particular SU that are showing ESU. It's the client that shows ESU via the report "Enforcement States for a Deploymennt", and it's only ever the clients that were "Pending System Restart" previously that change to "Enforcement State
Unknown". The software centre on these clients all know they're pending restart, and if the pending restart is performed on the client it will then change to "Compliant", but it never changes from ESU while its real state is "Pending Restart".
    Hopefully that clarifies the scenario.
Like I said, I have a workaround, but I'd like to eliminate this behaviour on all my SCCM 2012 instances which are all affected.

  • Report Updates Compliance 5 - Specific System across similar machines

I wrote a roll up summary of Compliance 5 to summarize missing/installed on a group of machines.  I never noticed it before, but the number of installed patches varies greatly across similar OS's, including some built on the same day and having just
baseline software installed.  Has anyone else noticed this and possibly know why this happens?
Here is the main query I'm using:
    SELECT
    CS.Name0 AS System,
    CS.UserName0 AS 'User',
    SUM(CASE WHEN UCS.Status = 2 THEN 1 ELSE 0 END)
    AS Missing,
    SUM(CASE WHEN UCS.Status = 3 THEN 1 ELSE 0 END)
    AS Installed,
    ROUND(
    (SUM(CONVERT(float,
    CASE WHEN UCS.Status = 3 THEN 1 ELSE 0 END))
    / (SUM(CONVERT(float,
    CASE WHEN UCS.Status = 2 THEN 1 ELSE 0 END))
    + SUM(CONVERT(float,
    CASE WHEN UCS.Status = 3 THEN 1 ELSE 0 END))
    )) * 100, 2) AS Compliance, WS.LastHWScan
    FROM
    v_Update_ComplianceStatus AS UCS
LEFT OUTER JOIN v_GS_COMPUTER_SYSTEM AS CS
    ON CS.ResourceID = UCS.ResourceID
    JOIN v_CICategories_All AS CI
    ON CI.CI_ID = UCS.CI_ID
    JOIN v_CategoryInfo AS NFO
    ON NFO.CategoryInstance_UniqueID =
    CI.CategoryInstance_UniqueID
    AND
    NFO.CategoryTypeName = 'UpdateClassification'
    LEFT JOIN v_GS_WORKSTATION_STATUS AS WS
    ON WS.ResourceID = CS.ResourceID
    LEFT JOIN v_FullCollectionMembership AS FCM
    ON FCM.ResourceID = CS.ResourceID
    WHERE (UCS.Status IN (2, 3))
    AND (CS.Name0 LIKE '<SomeServer>%')
    AND FCM.CollectionID = '<SomeCollectionID>'
    AND NFO.CategoryInstanceName = 'Critical Updates'
    GROUP BY
    CS.Name0,
    CS.UserName0,
    WS.LastHWScan
There is also a screenshot at sccmbrokeit.blogspot.com/2013/11/improved-sccm-2012-srss-microsoft.html.  You can see in the last screenshot (this only show 'critical updates') that then number installed varies from 6 to 27, but there are several that
have either 6 or 18 installed that were installed at roughly the same time with the same application loads.  I see the same pattern on DC's as well which have strict build proceedures and were last refreshed within a few days of each other.
For the life of me I just can't see any differences on the machine that would cause different reporting.  Thanks all,
    --Dave

  • EHS MSDS Report status : Generation failed

    Hi all,
I have created a report (in CG02) and when I try to release I found the status is Generation failed. Unless the status is Gen. Successful, I cannot release the report.
I found no errors in report template and creation of Gen. variant.
Is it the problem with WWI server? or problem with IMG settings? I find Gen server is up and running. Issue is under high priority.
    Can someone help me?
    Regards,
    Srinivas Nookireddy

    Hi EHS Goeroes,
I think I have a simliar issue. I have done the following procedure and settings:
    a) Create MSDS report (CG42)
    b) Edit Generation Variant (CG2B)
    Settings:
(I have assigned my template to the Generation Variant)
    Generate manual request automatically: marked
    Change Marks: 0
    Initial release status: RE (released)
    Version requirement: unmarked
    Set historical automatically: unmarked
    c) EHS > Specification Workbench > Report from Template (to test the design - display is correct and all phrases can be found)
    d) EHS > Specification Workbench > Create new report
(report has been created succesfully and appears in Report Management).
    e) EHS > Specification Workbench > Report Management:
MSDS_29    Material Safety Data Sheet for China     World
Chinese          Not Relevant    Generation Poss. => generation possible.
Feedback affter clicking on Accept:  You tried to carry out action 'Accept' on a report with status GP. However, this action is not allowed for reports with this status.
Feedback after clicking on Generate: You tried to carry out action 'Generate' on a report with status GP. However, this action is not allowed for reports with this status.
    d) SE38 I have no jobs scheduled yet, so I run the following two programs to start the worklist manually, RC1AVGE1 and RC1AVGE2.
RC1AVGE1 - gave allot of feedback information regarding to changes and so on (first time I run it).
RC1AVGE2  - feedback: EHS: 'Worklist Generation for Reports - Selection for Check. - 0 reports to be checked were found'
From my understanding program RC1AVGE2 - should generate the MSDS.
    e) WWI - monitor display (CG5Z):
    100               @03\QNo background processes in client@     5     SBR     WWI-00000000000000000002     FREE     RMDERKS
    110               @03\QNo background processes in client@     5     SBR     WWI-00000000000000000063     FREE     A132645
    xxx     SV001     @5B\QWWI server is active@     @02\QNo background processes on WWI server@
    xxx     SV003     @5C\QWWI server is inactive@     @02\QNo background processes on WWI server@
I checked if I had any jobs running in the background or has been finished, but it seems like it goes wrong here, the system does not generate a job for the generation of the MSDS_29. To be able to get the status of MSDS_29 to RE (Released).
Does anybody has an idea what I do wrong, or which settings might be incorrect?
    Help is much appreciated!
    Roy Derks

  • Show system resources Current memory status: Severe Alert

I have a couple of  9124e Blade switches that have Severe Alerts reported for the current memory status in the show system resources output as shown below. I'm guessing that the amount of memory free is a problem, but how can I resolve the issue? The Blade switches don't appear to be heavily utilized so how can I increase the amount of free memory?
    Load average:   1 minute: 0.13   5 minutes: 0.11   15 minutes: 0.09
    Processes   :   143 total, 1 running
    CPU states  :   0.0% user,   1.0% kernel,   99.0% idle
Memory usage:    516128K total,    502064K used,     14064K free
    Current memory status: Severe Alert
    Load average:   1 minute: 0.52   5 minutes: 0.28   15 minutes: 0.12
    Processes   :   143 total, 1 running
    CPU states  :   0.0% user,   1.0% kernel,   99.0% idle
Memory usage:    516128K total,    501140K used,     14988K free
    Current memory status: Severe Alert
I have the same question about an MDS 9513 SAN Director with a Minor Alert. However this does have some healthy usage numbers.
    Load average:   1 minute: 3.38   5 minutes: 1.92   15 minutes: 1.25
    Processes   :   177 total, 3 running
    CPU states  :   70.1% user,   25.2% kernel,   4.7% idle
Memory usage:   1033004K total,    884860K used,    148144K free
    Current memory status: Minor Alert

The first two switches are fine.
The free memory is physica free memory
The used memory is included used+cache memory. Cache memory is reuseable
The third switch 9513, the load average is high. This is indicated there are sone processes using more CPU.
You can issue a support case to take a look at this.

  • Scheduling the report from Infoview portal does not show up data

    Thanks in advance,
    Sri

    Hi Sri,
When we are able to see the report and unable to schedule the report with in the Info view, then check with the user rights.
Just try to login with admin account and try to schedule the report.
Also check the report in CMC and see the preview of the report.
If the user doesn't have enough rights to schedule the report, then  it doesn't allow it.
Also check with in the Folder rights with in the report is saved.
    Regards,
    Naveen.
