Report tabs disappear from Edit mode

Hi,
I am experiencing a seriously puzzling issue in BO XI R2 (Web Intelligence). A user claims that she lost half of the tabs in her report after it was migrated from staging to prod with Import Wizard.
Indeed when I click on Modify, in the Edit Report view several report tabs are missing. It's not just a case of scrolling to the right unfortunately...
I first thought that the user deleted the report tabs accidentally but when running the report, the missing tabs show up.
There is no such thing as a hide functionality from what I hear I checked in the report map but the missing tabs are not visible there.
Any idea?
The BO version is 11.5.9.1076 which is SP3.
A hotfix released with CHF20 (ADAPT00722944) is said to have resolved a similar issue where the last report tab of a multi tab web-I report would disappear when editing it This should be covered by SP3 though so I should be getting this issue.

Oh Boy. I am now experiencing this behaviour in Webi. The webi is still in Dev. When I ran on info-view with 'view' mode, it has displayed all tabs in the report, but when I pressed 'Edit' button and did some variable changes, I lost all tabs, but for the first one. I hit the Save button without noticing this behaviour.
I fortunately had a copy of this webi. I see the same behaviour there. View mode shows all tabs, but as soon as I press Edit mode, I lose all tabs except the first one. For now, I am not saving it and coming out. But I need to make changes to this webi.
Strange!!
Anyone else is facing this issue or any SAP solution. We are on BOBJ XI R 3.1 SP3 (We don't have FP3.2 yet)

    I also faced the same issue.
    I could replicate the issue suceessfully on a consistent basis.
    STEPS to replicate the issue
    1.     Create a new webi report using Island Resorts Marketing Universe
    2.     Query Panel Objects
    a.     Country, Resort, Service, Number of guests
    3.     Run query  (Tab 1 is created automatically)
    a.     Report 1 u2013 Table containing above objects
    4.     Right Click Report 1 - >Insert Report -> rename it to u2018Crosstabu2019
    5.     Move the report tab to Left such that Crosstab appears as first tab
    6.     Drag Crosstab from Templates.
    a.     Pull Country and Resort objects as rows to Crosstab
    b.     Pull Service as Column to Crosstab
    c.     Pull Number of guests as measure to Crosstab
    7.     Select Country -> Insert Break
    8.     Select Resort -> Insert Break
    9.     Select Resort First and Country Second -> Click on Merge Cells button
    10.     Select No
    11.     Now again click on Merge Cells button
    12.     Select Yes this time.
    13.     Save the report.
    14.     View the report from Infoview. You will see both tabs
    15.     Edit the report. (You cannot edit the second tab - Report 1. Edit the first tab u2018Crosstabu2019)
    16.     only one tab is visible. Other tab u2018Report 1u2019 is missing.
    Observations:
    Report Footer appears as the top section in Map -> Structure
    So my conclusion is when a reverse merge is applied on Crosstab with breaks, this issue occurs.
    But i don't know how to recover the tabs in Edit mode.
    Please let me know how to recover the missed tabs in Edit Mode. Also let me know the other scenarios which might lead to the same issue.

  • Smartview 11.1.2 "Hyperion" tab disappeared from his Excel 2010.

    My user's Smartview 11.1.2 "Hyperion" tab disappeared from his Excel 2010. Trust Center shows that Add-In's are not disabled. We reinstalled and installed SV but nothing worked. What can we run to register SV to his Excel 2007? His Excel 2010 does have Smartview Add-in for HsTbar, Hsaddin.dll

    Please note that the 'solution' of copying files to the Addins folder is NOT recommended. You will probably cause more issues or store up problems for the future, such as when you upgrade the SmartView client. Believe me -- we get a lot of calls into Support caused by people doing this. It can cause:
    - loss of functionality owing to mixed file versions
    - the full path to HsTBar.xla to appear in front of SmartView functions
    - DLL hell when it comes to upgrading.
    Please check your system for duplicate copies of HsTBar.xla and HsAddin.dll and remove all but the ones in the correct SmartView installation folder. Also delete any duplicates of the other SmartView DLLs. Then re-register the DLLs in the SmartView\bin folder according to Jasmine's instructions. Note that you must be logged into your PC as a Power User or Administrator to do this. You should get a 'success' message for each DLL you register. Alternatively, uninstall SmartView, search for any remaining SmartView files (HsTBar.xla, HsAddin.dll) anywhere on the hard drive and delete them, then re-install.
    If you still get problems, log a support call.

    Just goto the URL bar of your browser.  If your BC Partner site resides at mytestsite.com then goto your address bar in your browser and type http://mytestsite.com and then paste on the end "/AdminConsoleXT/#fileManager" so your whole URL will look like "http://mytestsite.com/AdminConsoleXT/#fileManager"  It's the URL to the Develop tab that you can use if it works until you get this sorted out.  If your tab disappeared I'm assuming it has to do with Roles/Permissions so make sure your Admin user account on the site in question has all the access/admin rights under Site Settings > User Roles  But the "/AdminConsoleXT/#fileManager" is part of the URL to access the developer tab.  Typically if you are logged in already, then just replace everything in the URL in the addressbar after your domain and paste "/AdminConsoleXT/#fileManager" and hit ENTER to goto the URL of the Develop tab.

    In transaction CO11N , I want to change the quantity (COWB-ERFME) column of a table control
    from edit mode to display mode. I created a badi implementation for WORKORDER_GOODSMVT.
    This gets triggered before the screen with quantity (COWB-ERFME) is displayed. How to code, to change the column from edit mode to display mode.
    I tried using transaction variant and it is working , but I want it to be plant specific. So I m trying badi.

    U make sure a method of the BADI WORKORDER_GOODSMV is called in PBO while looping table control, if it's so u can use the statament LOOP AT SCREEN.ENDLOOP:
    LOOP AT SCREEN.
      IF SCREEN-NAME = ....
         SCREEN-INPUT = 0.
         MODIFY SCREEN.
      ENDIF.
    ENDLOOP.

  • Want BW Report within Portal in Editable mode

    HI Gurus,
                  I hav created Bex Appln iView from Query string obtained from "Query Designer". Now I am able to view Selection screen. When I enter some values and execute Report gets generated. But this report is in Display mode.
                  My BW functional consultant want this report in Editable mode to update some fields. They are saying they are able to edit If they go to Bex analyzer (Execel Format).
                 Please suggest me probable solution. or what I am missing ?

    Values in a BW report cannot be changed.
    However a report from integrated planner can be.
    I expect your are on BI 7.0 with IP.
    You need to create a planning cube and additional Planning Levels.

  • Page content disappears in Edit mode - Custom Master Page

    Hi All,
    Below are the two issues I have with my master page.
    1) I am facing the strange issue with the pages created using custom page layouts and custom master page.
    In browse mode, everything looks perfect and as expected. But when I try to edit the same page, all content disappears as soon as page ribbon appears. When I click back on Browse tab on the ribbon, everything appears back normally. 
    2) Also When I apply my custom master page as site master for Publishing site it works I can see all my custom design and layout. But when I apply same for team sites, unless I change system master to my custom master page, it doesn't reflect my design.
    Does anyone face this issue before?

    Once in edit mode, are you able to view the page's source and do a "Find" on a certain keyword that should normally appear in your page's content? Is it there?
    I'm trying to determine if its a server side issue with your master page's code that's causing the content not to be sent back across the wire to the user or if the content is there but just not properly presented. Thanks

  • Analyzer - running default calc from Edit mode

    In edit mode I can update the database but when the Run default calc script icon is pressed nothing happens - any ideas?

  • SmartView 11.1.2.2.000 - SmartView tab disappears from Excel 2010

    We are using SmartView 11.2.2.2.000 with Excel 2010.  The SmartView tab frequently disappears from the Excel menu, especially for one particular user.  Each time I walk him thru re-enabling it.  This user's files are usually multiple sheets.  Anyone know why this keeps happening and is there a permanent way to fix it?

  • Problem Exporting Webi report to Excel in Edit mode

    I have posted this question on BOB forum [http://forumtopics.org/busobj/viewtopic.php?t=189429&sid=8539bfcc4dbbf782ba1a9950085373ed] and found no response so I am cross posting here.
    I have two environments: Enterprise XI 3.1 SP2 and Enterprise XI 3.1 SP3 FP3.6. On both instances when I open reports in web intelligence and try to export it to excel (using Save to my computer as Excel) I will get a "file download" dialog box asking me if I want to open, save or cancel. However when I am in Edit mode I get the same options to save/open only in the first instance(SP2), what I get in sp3 is a somewhat different "save docuemnt" dialog box (with a save as type all files not explicitly excel), doesnt allow users to open at all. I need your help to get the file download option to open/save when i export reports to excel in the second instance too. BTW it works fine for PDF export.

  • The 'Shared' tab disappeared from my sidebar

    That's basically it - the 'shared' tab [which should be impossible to remove] disappeared from the sidebar. According to Finder preferences it should still be there.
    Also the Network icon [globe] will not let me connect to any other computers/servers on my network [doesn't even show them anymore]. At first the old G4 could still connect to the iMac running Leopard, but even that stopped now.
    Internet works OK, though.
    How to get 'Shared' back ?

    Assuming you don't have the button on the top left that says Inbox, a force quit out of Mail may work but I think you should reset your iPhone by pressing the home and sleep buttons until you see the Apple logo, ignoring the slider. Takes about 5-15 secs of button holding and you won't lose any data or settings.

  • Why has the lyrics tab disappeared from songs' "Get Info" menu?

    I got a new laptop today with Windows 7, and downloaded the most recent version of iTunes. I am keeping all my music files on an external hard drive, but have dragged all of them into my iTunes library. This is how I've done it before and have never had any problems. Now, for all of the songs that didn't have lyrics in the first place, the lyrics tab has completely disappeared, and all of the adjustable fields in the other tabs are greyed out and uneditable. Does anyone know what I've done wrong, and how this can be fixed, please?

    Assuming you have room available to the left of the check mark in iTunes (if not, make room first), try control-click on the row that says "Name ... Artist ... etc." and checking "Auto size all columns" from the resulting drop-down.

  • Email tab disappeared from "My Extra" so I can't c...

    I'm a new BT Infinity customer and I set up a new email address on Tuesday this week. It said it will take 30 minutes to set up and show in my account. I tried to log in last night but it said my new email address does not exist. I went through the help guide and it said, as I had done before, to go through my account and then "My Extras". However, the email tab under My Extras has disappeared - it was there on Tuesday evening! There's no way of getting to the email account creation page without the button which has disappeared - I cannot find a direct hyperlink address anywhere. 
    I contacted BT via Livechat yesterday and was promised a call back today but have heard nothing further. Has anyone else had an issue like this, or can anyone give me the direct hyperlink to the email account creation page please?

  • Music Tab Disappears from Airport Admin Utility

    I have searched these forums and the internet for a long time for a solution to this problem only to find that this is a common problem for a lot of people. Basically, all of the sudden iTunes didn't list my wireless speakers as a possible output for my music. Thinking a setting had been changed or something I logged into the Airport Admin Utility only to find that the "Music" tab was completely removed. I restarted the AE multiple times, performed multiple firmware upgrades/downgrades, and reset the entire device to no avail.

    Perhaps when you switch it to 5 GHz the signal loss is so great that your Mac Pro can no longer receive the signal.
    5 GHz signals do not move through physical objects as well as 2.4 GHz signals.

  • Momentary checkbox disappeared in Edit mode

    This is the third time in the last week that several of my buttons, which contain assignments using the Momentary Checkbox, no longer have the Momentary Checkbox available. If you look at the screenshot below, you will see where the checkbox should be. These momentary assignments are critical to the workflow I am trying to do. I can open a different concert, copy buttons that do work into this concert, and then those buttons have the momentary option. Has anyone seen this before? This has happened in several separate concerts.

    Blueberry, that makes sense that you have to adjust the button in Layout mode, pressing Learn and the button 3 times. Thank you for clarifying the steps there for me, and I see in the manual where it says to do that. 
    I guess my question is why would it change randomly? I do not see anything in the manual that explains how the button will change. Everything was working perfectly with my setup for a week. I frequently closed and opened the concert. Then, I opened the concert one day and all the momentary assignments were gone. I did not make any adjustments to yield this change.
