Report to know an employees service in a company

Dear All,
Is there any standard report to see the seniority level of the employees in a compay?
We store an employees date of joining in IT0001, can we get his total year of service in any report.
Can we sort the company employees by year of service (seniority) ?

Hi,
The report displays the values if the corresponding configuration is maintained.
If you have set up "Calculation of Employment Period" in the Implementation Guide (IMG), and if table T77S0 contains the entry SENI with group ADMIN and semantic abbreviation LORSV, the system calculates the value according to your Customizing for calculating length of service.
For further information, see the IMG for Personnel Administration under Personnel Administration -> Evaluation Basis -> Calculation of Employment Period.
If there is no entry in table T77S0 with group ADMIN and semantic abbreviation LORSV, the system calculates the value according to your entries in the ENTRY feature.For further information, see the feature documentation: ENTRY.
Please check your configuration settings and do the needful so that report displays the number of years.

Hi All,
Any idea about any report available in SAP to get the balance in customer accounts (total) with the break up in terms of activities at overall level. Activites means sales, payments, debit note, credit note etc...(any kind of posting in customer account).
The break up is not required at customer level, it is required at company code level which means that it contains all the customers under that company code. We plan to do some trend analysis from this report. Report in GL accounting / AR will do.

SharePoint Foundation 2013 - report / chart / Graph for Employee vacation.

In SharePoint Foundation 2013 I want to create a report / chart / Graph for Employee (Employee Id,Employee Name & Department) which will show month wise from which date to which date Employee are on vacation in particular department.
I'm thinking to create one List where where user will enter there vacation details and from that list report I will create chart / Graph Department wise to check the Employees availability.
Please provide some good example or idea in detail for this.

Chart Web Parts are useful for visually representing data in line charts, bar charts, and other views. Charts enable you and other users to view performance information at a glance.
In SharePoint 2013, chart web part is one of the discontinued features. We usually use Excel Service to replace it, however, Excel Service is only available in Enterprise edition, so we need to figure out coding methods or third party tool if you are using
Foundation edition.

How to find the list of cost centers reporting to a particular employee

Hi Experts,
I have to create one report in Java Web Dynpro. In the report, I have to display all cost centers reporting to a paricular employee. For example suppose Vice President of company has pernr 6481. From pa20, we quickly find out that his cost center is say 1209000. Now the Vice President has several reporting cost centers. For example one cost center will be for Marketing Deptt, other may be of HR deptt.
Please let me know how I can find out that what all cost centers are reporting to pernr 6481(Vice Preseident)

Thanks for email. In my project name has been maintained in CSKS-VERAK. However this name does not matches exactly with the name of pa20 (HR). It looks like SAP has not provided data integrity between HR name and CSKS-VERAK. It seems that while creating cost center, the user enters name in his own way. For example "Al-Fahad Malki" can be written in "Malki Fahad-Al" or "Malki Fahad" or "Al-Malki Fahad". The name of user in pa20 may be "Al-Fahad M". So it is not possible for us to use solution provided by you.

I have used following logic for getting cost centers for given pernr.
1)     Take pernr as input. Exexute RFC HRWPC_RFC_OADP_GET_NAVOBJECTS. While executing RFC pass following values:
a.     OBJSEL - MSS_TMV_EE_ORG1
b.     Begda u2013 Today date
c.     Ends u2013 Today date
d.     User u2013 pernr
e.     Cachemaxage - -1
2)     Then program should read the value of OBJID from HRWPC_RFC_OADP_GET_NAVOBJECTS output.
3)     After this program should read value from HRP1001 for following condition
PLVAR = 01
OBJID = OBJID of step 2
RELAT = u2018011u2019 and
RSIGN = u2018Au2019 and
(check todayu2019s date is >= begda and <= endda ) and
SCLAS = u2018Ku2019 u2026 and
SOBJID = first 10 charactersu2026
The cost center will be first 10 characters of SOBJID.
4)     Return the Cost Center as derived in step 3. The cost center name and cost center name both should be returned as the output.
5)     Sort the Cost Centers in ascending order of Cost Center name, if needed.

Is it possible that we can create a report to know how much time has been spent by user into CRMOD. For eg someone logs every day 10 minutes .If he logs for 15 days in a month , then the report should show 150 minutes. Is this possible

I guess you will have to raise a request with Oracle to make available User tracking subject area using which you can generate your report.
We had implemented this in one of our instances. You will find various metrics in that subject area that will cater to your needs.
Alternately you can also do it through web service.

Incident 1. Since many months attempts to download new and updated APPs produced a response – Apple ID Disabled. I had no time to consult an APPLE Store due to work in distant lands. When I finally visited yesterday I was told that as my IPAD has been reported as stolen, and APPLE in its wisdom had blocked its usage! I am not sure how they became so misinformed and nobody every advised me while with a few swift moves APPLE could have located me by email address or SKYPE.
Incident 2. Once the above anomaly had been fixed I tried to down load a newspaper and diligently input my address, credit card number and personal data. Repeatedly I was advised that my Credit Card was invalid and my postal code was incorrect! Really!
I was left to guess that having moved from UK to the US I should have advised APPLE! Not being told of this requirement brought about a second visit to APPLE Store in the same day to waste both mine and their time with a routine anomaly. How parochial in the context of a globalized world!
In each case I tried to resolve the issues using online access to a help line and by calling by phone at the numbers on the APPLE Website. In each of four separate occasions I diligently went through the routine and ended up with a message that thanked me for contacting Apple followed by a polite ‘Good Bye’!
In desperation I went to an Apple Store for the second time in a day as it is close to where I live when I am not working. On both occasions I was courteously attended to by Apple Staff.
However, my work is usually far away from the US and it is generally many thousands of miles to the nearest Apple Store therefore online help is viewed as imperative if one is to resolve issues away from home.
Why can Apple not provide a clearly marked EMAIL address and Telephone number at a Help Desk with real people to respond to requests for help? It would cost nothing in relative terms and might restore my high level of anti-APPLE sentiment that these two recent events have provoked.

If that is your question, the answer is at the bottom right of this web page. It is clearly marked "Contact Us" and is the best way, really the only way, to contact Apple.
If there were a publicly posted email address for concerns such as yours, it would be quickly filled with spam in about three minutes, thereby becoming instantly useless to you and everyone else. Apple would need to change it hourly, if not more often. That is also the reason you ought not to post your name, location, and what appears to be your iPad's serial number on this publicly viewable website.
Apple does not respond here and I can find no other questions for your fellow Apple users to answer.

Dear Pradeep,
There are 2 ways of addresing this issue,
1.Either create a new material status in T Code OMS4 which throws an error message related to production order,purchase order
creation and assign it to the materials(products) which does not have any released cost estimate.
Once after taking the cost estimate you can remove this setting from the material master.
2.The other way is using user exitrs which checks whether the material has a released cost estimate or not.
Check and revert back.

I have a very common requirement in SAP HCM ABAP development.
For an Org Unit, how do we get all Reporting Org units(Also employees reporting to the sub org unit) & Employees ?
I have tried using RH_STRUC_GET_MULTIPLE_ROOTS and RHPH_STRUCTURE_READ, but the evaluation path is insufficient to get all objects under it. I tried with both O-S-P and O-O-S-P evaluation paths and as per some constraints, I can’t create a customized evaluation path for a reason.
I am using PNPCE database for user selection screen and user would be advising the Org unit. I even referred the standard transaction ‘S_AHR_61016495’ which is using PCH logical database.
I would really appreciate if anyone could provide a solution for this. (Rewards guranteed )

Although I could not respond in time, thank you so much for your prompt reply.
I had used the same RHPH_STRUCTURE_READ and passed the appropriate values to it, but it did not populate the required results. I cross checked the results manually, may be some relations issue. But later I tried using RH_STRUC_GET_MULTIPLE_ROOTS and it worked fine.
Meanwhile I had done a workaround with PCH and RH_STRUC_GET and it served the purpose of getting all the Org units, it’s reporting sub-org-units, positions and persons (The deepest structure from the root org unit advised on selection screen).
The solution I used is, I captured the org-units advised on selection screen by user using PCH logical database and then by looping on sub-org units reporting to the main org-unit I populated related positions and persons holding them and assigned it to the PNPCE logical database.

Make sure you edit the registry entry for the service to run as -server, not -client . Also, I cannot see what you have on some of the right side of the error but it looks like it may be a config.xml issue but you say the script starts the admin fine so I doubt it is a hosed config.xml. Check your regsitry parameters and then if still a problem then make sure you post the format so we can see all of the error. I got the service running in 10.3, it is not as easy as previous versions but it is doable and I can assist further if need be.
