Hi:
For this purpose you can develop Z report. There is no such standard report for it. Copy FBL5N to make a Z copy of it and use the table FAGLFLEXA for each document posted in BSEG/BKPF. You can also make use of BTE 1650.

Generate a report with date range and year as POV with Hyp Planning ?
Hi everybody,
I am starting with hyp planning and i need your help please.
I have to create some forms. In those forms, the final user is supposed to be able to display data in the forms between 2 dates and for a specific year.
My first problem : I don't know how you can display data in a form between 2 dates and for one specific year. I just have one dimension YEAR and one PERIOD, so if i selected them as a PAGE, the final user will just be able to choose the month and the year for his form ... and not displaying data between 2 dates.
My second problem is with the dimensions YEAR, SCENARIO and VERSION. I don't want to put the dimensions VERSION and SCENARIO as PAGE (it easier for the final user to just choose a year than to choose a year, scenario, and version) but as POV with a relationship with the dimension YEAR (because if the user chooses YEAR = actual_year (2012) the VERSION and the SCENARIO won't be the same than if the user chooses YEAR= last_year). IF YEAR = next_year, VERSION=Propuesta, SCENARIO=Forecast
IF YEAR = actual_year, VERSION=Propuesta, SCENARIO=Forecast AC
IF YEAR = last_year, VERSION=Actual, SCENARIA=Real
How can i do that?
Thank you for your help

How to create a report with data using the Crystal Reports for Java SDK
Hi,
How do I create a report with data that can be displayed via the Crystal Report for Java SDK and the Viewers API?
I am writing my own report designer, and would like to use the Crystal Runtime Engine to display my report in DHTML, PDF, and Excel formats. I can create my own report through the following code snippet:
ReportClientDocument boReportClientDocument = new ReportClientDocument();
boReportClientDocument.newDocument();
However, I cannot find a way to add data elements to the report without specifying an RPT file. Is this possible? I seems like it is since the Eclipse Plug In allows you to specify your database parameters when creating an RPT file.
is there a way to do this through these packages?
com.crystaldecisions.sdk.occa.report.data
com.crystaldecisions.sdk.occa.report.definition
Am I forced to create a RPT file for the different table and column structures I have?
Thank you in advance for any insights.
Ted JenneyHi Rameez,
After working through the example code some more, and doing some more research, I remain unable to populate a report with my own data and view the report in a browser. I realize this is a long post, but there are multiple errors I am receiving, and these are the seemingly essential ones that I am hitting.

oFieldObject.setFieldValueType(field.getType());
// Now add it to the section
oFieldObject.setLeft(3120);

oFieldObject.setHeight(226);
rcd.getReportDefController().getReportObjectController().add(oFieldObject, rcd.getReportDefController().getReportDefinition().getDetailArea().getSections().getSection(0), -1);
Then I get an error (which is not unexpected)

How do I add one of the table.SetDataFields() to my report to be displayed?
Are there any other pointers or suggestions you may have?

Schedule a report with passing range parameters
I have wrote a program to run the crystal report in BO server and email to the user. The program can pass the parameter to the crystal report and generate different result/ report. It works well with string parameters, int parameter and date parameter. But when I pass the date range parameters, the CR in BO always displays error "Information is needed before this report can be processed. ", and in the CR history, the Parameters field is "No Parameter"
For single parameters, I will use the setValue() of IReportParameterSingleValue to set the param value
IReportParameterSingleValue v = prompt.getCurrentValues().addSingleValue();
v.setValue(paramValueArray<i>);
but I dunno how to set the date range value. Anyone ve ideas on this?
Here is some of my sample code.
rangeValue.setBeginValue(dateValue1);
rangeValue.setEndValue(dateValue1);
rangeValue.getEndValue());
rangeValue.setLowerBoundType(RangeValueBoundType.inclusive);
rangeValue.setUpperBoundType(RangeValueBoundType.inclusive);
newParam.getCurrentValues().add(rangeValue);I am not sure if you are using RAS or Enterprise SDK, but here are some code snippets to set range report parameters:
For scheduling:
// oReport is IReport object holding the crystal report.
oReportParameter = oReport.getReportParameters().get(i);
currentRangeValue = oReportParameter.getCurrentValues().addRangeValue();
currentRangeValue.getFromValue().setValue(dateParameter);
currentRangeValue.getToValue().setValue(dateParameter);
For viewing:
ParameterFieldRangeValue pfrv = new ParameterFieldRangeValue();
pfrv.setBeginValue(dateTimeValue);
pfrv.setEndValue(dateTimeValue1);
pfrv.setLowerBoundType(RangeValueBoundType.inclusive);
pfrv.setUpperBoundType(RangeValueBoundType.inclusive);
pf.getCurrentValues().add(pfrv);
f.add(pf);
f is Fields object and pass that to viewer. -
Hi,
I have an Oracle form which allows users to enter :start_date_active(mandatory) and :end_date_active (can be null).
I need to check in form using SQL if there already exists a record for this date range or if there is any overlapping date ranges for the value entered and disallow user from entering that.
I have my query as follows:
SELECT (1)
FROM <table> xsv
WHERE 1=1
AND ( (:START_DATE_ACTIVE >= xsv.start_date_active) AND
(:START_DATE_ACTIVE <= nvl(xsv.end_date_active,'31-DEC-4712'))
OR
(:END_DATE_ACTIVE >= xsv.start_date_active) AND
(:END_DATE_ACTIVE <= nvl(xsv.end_date_active,'31-DEC-4712'))
But, this incorrectly allows me to enter over lapping date ranges when the :end_date_active is null.
It should work as follows :
eg.
start_date_active end_date_active
01-Apr-2009 allowed
01-Mar-2009 10-Mar-2009 allowed
01-feb-2009 Not allowed, as it overlaps with 1st record
10-feb-2009 05-Mar-2009 Not allowed, as it overlaps with 2nd record
05-Mar-2009 20-mar-2009 Not allowed, as it overlaps with 2nd record
and so on.
How do I modify my query to deal with null end dates ?
Many Thanks
ShankarHi, Shankar,
Whenever you have a question, it helps to post:
(1) The version of Oracle (and any other relevant software) you're using
(2) A little sample data (just enough to show what the problem is) from all the relevant tables
(3) The results you want from that data (You posted this. It would be better if it were formatted.)
(4) Your best attempt so far (formatted) (You posted this, but since it's unformated, it's very hard to read.)
(5) The full error message (if any), including line number
Executable SQL statements (like "CREATE TABLE AS ..." or "INSERT ..." statements) are best for (2).
Formatted tabular output is okay for (3). Type these 6 characters
{code}
(small letters only, inside curly brackets) before and after formatted text, to preserve spacing.
Use different names for the parameters and the columns. For example, if the column is called start_date_active, call the corresponding parameter :p_start_date_active. It will help to keep them straight.
In this statement, if the column end_date_active IS NULL, you're treating it as an impossibly late date:
(:END_DATE_ACTIVE <= nvl(xsv.end_date_active,'31-DEC-4712'))That's good. (You should really use TO_DATE ('31-DEC-4712', 'DD-MON-YYYY'), though.)
If it's possible for the parameter :end_date_active to be NULL, you should use NVL in the same way, to equate it with some appropriate date.
The correct way to see if the range a to b (a <= b) overlaps with x to y (x <= y) is:
WHERE b >= x
AND a <= yIf you want an expression that's TRUE when they do not overlap, then say
WHERE NOT ( b >= x
AND a <= y
)or, equivalently,
WHERE b < x
OR a > y -
Crystal Report 2008 - Save Report with Data
I saved a Crystal report with data in Dev Environment on BOE Server (Infoview Folder) and this is transported to Quality Environment. In the quality environment, when I try to view this report, initial screen comes up with data of Development, instead of Quality environment.
I am expecting that it will load the default data from Quality environment for the stored selection.
Is there any settings to be done in the report settings, so that i can view the saved report in Quality Environment with Quality Env data instead of Dev Env Data?Thanks Don for the reply.
In case, If we save the report with data in Dev, we need to update DB configuration to point to Quality Env using "Use Custom databse Logon Information".
But when it gets transported to production (From Quality), it will show up Quality Envdata. So should i have to update the BOE in Q Environment, to point to Production and transport it?
Is there any automated way that the system will point to right systems appropriately based on transport landscape?
Does the functionality of "Save the report with data" used mainly for user friendliness for analysis in one environment and this functionality is not supported to move between environments?

Hi,
my requirement is to create a calculated member to calculate Total unique customers who has sales > 0 within the date range.
Below mdx works normally with single date
DistinctCount(FILTER([Customer_Sales].[Outlet ID].[Outlet ID].members,
([Measures].[distribution],
[Date].[CalendarWeek].CurrentMember
)=1))
I'm looking for something like below with date range,
DistinctCount(FILTER([Customer_Sales].[Outlet ID].[Outlet ID].members,
([Measures].[distribution],
WTD([Date].[CalendarWeek].CurrentMember
))=1))
Above MDX fails with the error: String of numeric expression expected, Tuple set expression was used.
Appreciate your immediate response.
Thanks in advanceHi Chandima,
Thanks for the response.
I tried your code, it works but the results are not correct. As per manual calculations, there are 28 unique customers who has positive sales on Week to date (2014-11-03), but result shows only 19.
For the first day of week (2014-11-01), there are 9 unique customers, which is correct. But for the following days it is not giving correct result.
Further, performance of this approach is very poor

Generate report with data from database package
Hi
Is it possible to generate a report where the values come from an oracle database package instead of from an sql query declared in the report itself?
If yes, how is it done?
Appreciate any help. Thx.Hi,
You can use REF CURSORs to generate reports from a database package.
For information about REF CURSORs, please see Chapter 40 'Building a Paper Report with REF CURSORs' of the Oracle Reports Building Reports manual.
This chapter is at:
http://download-uk.oracle.com/docs/html/B13895_01/orbr_refcur.htm#i1011693
Hope this helps.

Dear all,
I am very new to Sharepoint designer 2010. Its better to say, i am just stepping in.
I have sharepoint site which is accessible for all the users to update few information. But i want this site not to be accessible during a date range, say from 15th to 20th of every month.
I am planning to have something like this: If any user tries to access this sharepoint site between 15th to 20th date range of everymonth, then the browser must show an pop-up alert saying "This site is not accessible during this date range" and Redirect
this sharepoint site to someother site (Say http:// somesitename.xx.com) immidiately.
I know very little about how to add Javascript in sharepoint webpart.
Please provide the Javascript or any best alternate solution to my concern.
Thanks in advance.Hi,
From your description, my understanding is that you want to redirect sharepoint site to another site between 15th and 20th every month.
I agree with what Sudip says. If you still want to use JS code,You could try these steps
below:
Open your site with SharePoint Designer.
Click Master Pages in left navigation.
Find file v4.master, and backup it(it is very important).
Right click your v4.master,
choose "Edit File in Adavance Mode".
Add the code below into the <head/> tag.
<script src="https://code.jquery.com/jquery-1.11.1.min.js" type="text/javascript"></script><script
type="text/javascript">
$(document).ready(function(){
var today = new Date();
var day = today.getDate(); // get current day
var id = _spPageContextInfo.userid; // get the id of current logon in user
var boolFlg = false;
$.ajax({
url: _spPageContextInfo.webAbsoluteUrl + "/_api/web/SiteGroups/GetByName(\'"+"sharepoint Owners"+"\')/Users", //get users in a specified group can access the sharepoint site from 15th to 20th every
month
type: "GET",
headers: {"accept": "application/json;odata=verbose"},
success: function (data) {
if (data.d.results) {
var src = data.d.results;
for(var i = 0; i < src.length; i++){
if(src[i].userid==id){ //check the logon in user in the specified group or not
boolFlg = false;
break;
if(!boolFlg){
if(day <= 20 && day >=15){
alert("This site is not accessible during this date range"); // alert the message
location.href = "http:// somesitename.xx.com"; // redirect to another site
error: function (xhr) {
alert(xhr.status + ': ' + xhr.statusText);
})</script>

REPORT WITH CHANGING ITEM ON THE SAME COLUMN
Hi to all,
i'm trying to build a report with different item in the same column.
Is that possible in any way using other Oracle technique?
i'm not doing anything specific here, only i would like to know if the following possibility exist or not and how can i let apex render the htmldb_item fields 'dynamically'.
Using this CODE inside a PL/SQL function body returning sql query I obtain the following report content. Such the code of htmldb_item.fields is written, as a field value the HTML_ITEM is not rendered, so only the description of them appear in the report.
Does somebody know some tricks to make it work?
