Report Writer for ICR process (table group FBICRC002)

Hello Gurus,
I have implemented the new ICR process 002. It is working fine and I now want to create reports based on tables FBICRC002A & FBICRC002T.
When I try to create a library based on table FBICRC002T the system block me saying that "Table FBICRC002T is not installed in Report Writer" (message GR493).
Should I install the table group FBICRC002 to be able to use these data into report writer?
Do you know why this table group already exists and cannot be displayed?

Creating a Library in Report Writer for FI-SL

Hello everybody,
When creating a library (table ZZGLTRS) for Report Writer for FI-SL I have the following message:
"Table ZZGLTRS is not installed in Report Writer" and the description of the message says:
"The Report Writer can only report on tables if the attributes of these tables that are relevant for reporting are defined in control tables. This is not the case for table ZZGLTRS"
Does anybody knows what does this "control tables" mean? Should I activate this ZZGLTRS table somewhere to be used in report Writer?

Can I set up a Master-Detail Page with report regions for 2 Detail Tables?

Hi there,
I am just starting to use Application Express.
I have a Table (A) with Master-Detail relationships to two Tables B & C.
I can set up a Master-Detail Page between Table A and Table B, where the records displayed in Table B change when switching between records in Table A. I would like to add Table C to the page and for this to work in the same way.
Is this possible in APEX? (I've tried adding a report region for Table C and making the Region Source dependent on the same ID field as is used by the report region for Table B but I keep getting "No Data Found" for Table C).

Thanks, but the text needs to be on a single master page which every page is assigned to. This is so the text alternates correctly regardless of whether new pages are inserted or moved. If I assigned separate master pages to individual pages and then moved the pages to a different location, the alternating footer text would then fall out of sync. I hope that made sense!

Help on report writer for Trial balance report

client is using report writer report for TB report say report ZTB.Now problem is when new financial year started on 1/4/2007 it is not carrying opening balances from previous financial year.
Existing report writer report is linked to Macros developed for complete financial reporting.So existing format can't be changed i.e addition of new columns etc.
Is there any place staright away I can make a change so that previous year balances can be added as of 1/4/2007?
I am new to report writer.
Can some one please help me how resolve this!!

I have an interactive report with 3 checkbox item for a single column named status. Based on the value of the column status the check box should be checked. For example:

I could be wrong but maybe change the hidden items to be like:
APEX_ITEM.HIDDEN(05,DECODE(CHF_STATUS,'DEV',1,0),'','f05_' || ROWNUM)
APEX_ITEM.HIDDEN(08,DECODE(CHF_STATUS,'RVW',1,0),,'','f08_' || ROWNUM)
APEX_ITEM.HIDDEN(11,DECODE(CHF_STATUS,'PRD',1,0),,'','f11_' || ROWNUM)so that the values are 0/1?
Also, you have
DECODE (CHF_STATUS,'DEV',ROWNUM)instead of
DECODE (CHF_STATUS,'DEV',0,1)in the checkboxes, as I would expect.
I'm also not sure why you need to duplicate the checkboxes (f07,f10,f13) as hidden items (f05, f08, f11) if they are both 0/1 values.

SSRS report design for local processing mode

I use SSRS, SQLSERVER 2012 and VS2012. Does anyone know whether there is a way to design the report without going through the report wizard or attaching using the binding source objects that you drag and drop and the datasets that you drag and drop
etc.

According to your description, you want to design report directly without specifying data source and dataset. Right?
In Reporting Services, we don't recommend circumvent creating data source and dataset. Because Reporting Services is working on retrieve data -> process data -> render data. Even we can create some items (like textbox) without creating
data source and dataset, but there is no significance if we design a report without data. Since you want to achieve this goal by using VB code. We suggest you post this thread on VB forum:

Set id for a report in report writer

Hi ,
Could you tell me how to find the set id for a report created through report writer ,
For example, Library -SL5 ,Report group is -M038 , Report is M038-0001 .
If i run this report it is showing the error that set id not found .

Report writer Authorization on selection screen

Hi All,
In transaction GR55 (to execute the report group), when the user enters the selection criteria for the report group, I want to validate the
'Profit Center group' and 'Profit center values' fields. The way it should be validated is, it should check the entry for the 'profit center group' or 'values' entered against the 'user name' in a Ztable for that user. If there is no entry in the Ztable matching that 'User name' and 'profit center group or values' , it should give an error message. I have seen that there is a user exit 'EXIT_SAPFGRWX_001' (Authorization check on initial screen).
But my problem is, in this functional module (code is shown below), the table 'I_T_SELSCREEN_PARAMS' has only one filed for both 'Profit center Group' and 'profit center values'.
1. when I enter 'Profit center group' 'ABC' in my selection criteria, I_T_SELSCREEN_PARAMS has following values.
I_T_SELSCREEN_PARAMS - selname = '%8A-PCHI'.
I_T_SELSCREEN_PARAMS-low = '01061000ABC'.
2. When I enter 'Profit Center Values' as some '3001000' to '3001020' inn the selection criteria, I_T_SELSCREEN_PARAMS has following fields,
I_T_SELSCREEN_PARAMS-selname = '%8A-PCHI'
I_T_SELSCREEN_PARAMS-low = '0002$ZSLP&8A-PCHI'.
here ZSLP is the report group name.
I don't understand how to get the values '3001000' to '30001020' into my user-exit in case 2.
Is there any other way of doing this? has anyone used this user-exit? Please help me.

For your requirement to have authorization, SAP provides facility in report writer/painter to give authorization groups.
Go to GR52.
Input your report group name.
Click on Header (Cap symbol) or F5.
At this header screen , you can see a field where you can provide Authorization group.
Try this. It may help you.
As a note:
Report writer / Report painter reports are reports which are created with zero percent coding.
The SAP generated program (E.g: GP3ICYT39FHJLOYBA2025DBAE1V213) cannot be changed or modified.
The only coding that you can do in a report writer are the formula's and logic that you can write in variables of the report writer / painter.

ICR Process 002 automatic clearing

Hello Gurus,
I have a problem when clearing automatically items for ICR Process 002:
I want the system to clear items with the same reference, currency and opposite amount.
This logic is applied item by item but not globally, document by partner document whereas it is very usual to have several Expense items for one Revenue item for the same IC flow...
Is the only solution based on the implementation of the Badi u201CFB_RC_ASSIGNMENTu201D ?

Report Writer/Painter : SKF values as part of FAGLFLEXT

We are trying to develop, using Report Writer/Painter, an income statement from table FAGLFLEXT (Library 0FL). As part of this report we are also required to pull statistical key figure values (SKF valus posted to cost centers). Currently we do not see SKF values as part of the FAGLFLEXT table. I am aware that traditionally the SKF values for reports are available in table/structure CCSS. However, while using Report Writer/Painter, only one table is allowed per library (0FL for FAGLFLEXT).
Is there any way we can bring the SKF values in FAGLFLEXT or in other words New GL?
Please note that we are on ECC 5.0

the fields that you want in ur report must be available in ur operating concern data structure,,,
pls check if the characteristics and the value fields that you require is available in the data structure,,,
