Report Writer Library: KKBC

Hello,
is there a way to understand the correspondence between:
- the fields of the reporting structure KKBC (report table CO object product cost accounting); and
- the fields in the tables of origin ?
The structure KKBC is used be the Report Writer's libraries. I can't figure out how its fields are populated.

For cost estimates check for tables KEKO and KEPH and COEP - actual line items
And check for transaction tables use standard SAP diagnostic report RKACSHOW.

Report Writer: How to Edit the allowable GenData Selection from a Library

Hello guys,
Recently I am trying to copy the Report List: Total Plan/Actual/Commitments ( 6OPL-001 ) (not sure if this is SAP standard or not) from the Library 6O2. I want to add the Business Area as part of the selectable parameter in the selection screen but the libary wont let me do that.
Is there a way to resolve this? If so how?

You have to copy the Report of that Report Painter/Writer to ZREPORT
and from the Menu go to
GENERAL DATA SELECTIOn
and change the selection criteria of that report
Report Writer functions can be accessed from within the Report Painter.
The difference lies in the GUI of the report painter.

Creating a Library in Report Writer for FI-SL

Hello everybody,
When creating a library (table ZZGLTRS) for Report Writer for FI-SL I have the following message:
"Table ZZGLTRS is not installed in Report Writer" and the description of the message says:
"The Report Writer can only report on tables if the attributes of these tables that are relevant for reporting are defined in control tables. This is not the case for table ZZGLTRS"
Does anybody knows what does this "control tables" mean? Should I activate this ZZGLTRS table somewhere to be used in report Writer?

Poor performance of Report Writer reports (Special Ledger Library)

Greetings - We are running into problems with poor performance of reports that are written with the SAP Report Writer. The problem appears to be caused when SAP is using the primary-key index in our Special Purpose ledger (where the reports are generated). The index contains object fields that cannot be added to the report library (COBJNR, SOBJNR, ROBJNR). We have created alternate indices, but they are not being picked up with the Report Writer reports.
Are there any configurable or technical settings that we can work with in order to force the use of a specific index for a report? It seems logical that SAP would find the most efficient index to use, but with the reports that we are looking at, this does not appear to be the case.
Any help that can be offered will be greatly appreciated...We are currently using version 4.6C, but are planning an upgrade to ECC 6.0 later this year.

Table need to be added in report painter library

HI,
Can't we add any table in report painter library (GR21) like if i add s032 it is accepted by library while 'MARD' is not accepted it gives error Table MARD is not installed in Report Writer.
what is the difference between s032 and MARD table, as both are transparent table. but one is accepted and other is not.

You can't use all tables.see the below lines for it:
Both Report Painter and Report Writer can be used to report on the following tables and tables types:
 Evaluation structures set up in the Logistics Information System (LIS). These structures normally begin with an S or ZF. Several different tables and views within the R/3 System can be added as evaluation structures.
Note: You cannot add cluster tables, such as BSEG.
CCSS is used for Cost Center Accounting (CO-CCA), Internal Orders (CO-OPA), Activity Based Costing (CO-ABC) and for cost element reports in Project Systems (PS).
GLFUNCT is used for functional area reporting in cost-of-sales accounting.
GLPCT and GLPCOP are used for Profit Center Accounting (CO-PCA/EC-PCA).
FILC is used for Legal Consolidations (FI-LC).
COFIT is used for the Controlling Reconciliation Ledger (CO-CEL).
ZZ tables are created for the Special Purpose Ledger (FI-SL).
FIMC is used for consolidations in the Enterprise Controlling module (EC-LC).
GLT0 is used for Financial Accounting (General Ledger) reports by account, company, and business area (FI-GL).
KKBC, KKBE, and KKBU are used for the Controlling Product Costing module (CO-Costing).

Table fields used for basic key figures in report writer/report painter

Does anyone know how I can find which table field is actually being used for SAP defined basic key figures in report writer report? For example, HSL is a basic key figure for income statement, library 0F1, report 0F-GUVV. It only shows data is coming from table GLFUNCT. How does the report writer program knows which fields to select? What is the logic behind the basic key figures?
Any advice is appreciated!!

I have now resolved this issue.
I had to manually update TablesT804B and T804F.
I've added entries to T804A in the past without the need to update T804B or T804F manually so it appears that the way these tables work together has changed following an upgrade or application of support packs.

How to change the text variables for a standard report-writer report ?

I am trying to change the text variables for a report -writer report and transport the same so as to change the title page and the report output heading .I know the Report-Group 6Z02 and the library 6O1 to which it belongs.I tried using the change transaction GR32 after going to the area menu through FGRP . I try to change the text variables through but it throws an error "You chose a name in the reserved name range - try different name ".
I have also tried copying this report into another report and changing the new report . I was able to change and save the text variables . Now when I try to overwrite the original report 6Z02-001 with this new report , it does not allow that.
Let me know how I can change the text variables for the same

T-code to see the report generated by a Report Writer.

Hi,
I am new to report writer and need your help.
I have a output which is generated through a report writer.
I need to compare the code that generated this output in development and production systems.
The only information I have is the library name and a z report name which gives the output.(throgh t-code GR33)
But when I try to execute the same report in Se 38, it says that te report does not exists .
Please suggest what is the t-code to see the report generated by a report writer , so that I can compare the codes in different systems.

Thanks for the replies.
The actual issue is :
I have a report created by report writer in 2 languages in Chineese and in English.
In the selection screen of the chineese report some of the labels are missing.
It is getting printed as ####### instead of fiscal year , Period etc.
This is happening only in production while in the development system it is correct (Both the chineese and the English selection screen ).
I guess this is a transportation issue.
Please suggest.
I am ot able to see the Transport Requests associated with it .
Can you please guide me for the same.
Where can I see the TRs associated with this report.

Account to display in Chinese language for Report writer report

I am working on Report Write Report.
I need to display the description of G/L Account in chinese language.
That particular Accout's description in FS00 for Short text and Long text has already maintained in chinese Language.
In my Report I am using the Layout ZCORP1.
What I am trying to doing is
1) I am changing the Layout using GR12 . Here in tab Language-Dependent,
I am trying to change Language Key to ZH (chinese) from EN ( English),
but not able to do.
2) In GR22, to change Library (which I have used for my Report), I am
trying to change Original language to chinese, but not able to do.
3) In GR32 to change the Report, I am trying to change the
Maintenance Language to Chinese, but not able to do.
Ok.. my main motive for all above is to see the output for G/L Account in chinese
Is my approach is right or what shall I do.
Please guide soon. It is urgent.

Report Writer Translation

Hi,
Our requirement is to translate a report writer report from english to Chinese.In one of the reports the texts were partially maintained are we need to translate the rest of the texts.The library element is custom created.
Inference
1. Chinese language is maintained in GCRS tcode.
2. In GRRT could not find the corresponding texts displayed in the screen shot below.
3. Tried looking in the notes 184552,166852. But couldn't resolve.
Question.
1. Can we translate such partially translated report writer reports?
2. How can we do it?.

I' ve the same problem, i created a "currency translation exchange rate types" and i would like to select it in my report. But when i use "currency translation" via a right click on a price, there is only the rate type : "CM: Fixed target currency, Current Date". How could i see my specific rate type ?

as far as I understand, document splitting clearing account is not for the purpose you mentioned (if you mean the clearing account in GSP_KD1). you don't need to analyze those accounts which are only for balancing.

Report Writer for ICR process (table group FBICRC002)

Hello Gurus,
I have implemented the new ICR process 002. It is working fine and I now want to create reports based on tables FBICRC002A & FBICRC002T.
When I try to create a library based on table FBICRC002T the system block me saying that "Table FBICRC002T is not installed in Report Writer" (message GR493).
Should I install the table group FBICRC002 to be able to use these data into report writer?
Do you know why this table group already exists and cannot be displayed?

Report write Strange in Background

Hi all,
One of the reports created using report writer (GR55 - F030) has started behaving strangly. In one of the columns,the report when generated in the background, the desciptions of the cost center has stopped appearing and instead it is repeating the costcenter again. e.g if code for cost center is 00710000 then earlier its description used to appear next to it but now it apears as 00710000 00710000. However the report when run in the forground works well. Any solutions?

Hi,
The Note should resolve the isse. Consider the 3 options given. Use GRR2 to making corrections as suggested. Option 3 is last resort, you need an ABAPER for it.
Choose GRR2-> Go to the Library-> Choose the report-> Double Click on Column-> Check the definition -> Choose Edit -> Choose General Data Selection-> Check value here. Look the value Cost Centre. Remove it from column and add it general data selection as it is. Save the report, generated and execute.
Report Painter Reports are usually maintained in PRD. test this first in Quality (which is a reasonable copy of PRD) and then attempt if PRD if it works.
I just fixed issue where account number texts were not appearing.

When I try to create a library in report writer with a custom Special Ledger line item table ZZFCCA, I get the error
"Table ZZFCCA is not installed in Report Writer.

The answer is in your question itself. You are using customized table, which is not suitable, the properties of this table needs to be changed. Take the help from ABAPer.
