Reporting an area with long-time no signal?

I've lived in an area for 16 months, and a road that I use regularly, that is a major north-south thoroughfare with many stores, has been consistently  lacking enough signal to make calls through Verizon or to connect with a Verizon broadband wireless dongle for my computer.
How do I report lack of signal problems?

don't waste your time reporting it. I've reported the same area for 5 years and their answer used to give me mins back for the dropped calls but now they say its not my home area so tough luck.  that the fcc has controls over new towers so just get used to it.

    what's your problem? Didn't get the point.
    You have a report, where the maintenance of the selection variant has a long runtime (in production?)
    Maybe AT SELECTION screen some checks / helps are executed, which are quite fast in DEV, but access much bigger tables in PROD and need to much time. Such checks should be improved / moved after START-OF-SELECTION.

    is there multiple report viewer webpart on page? if so then SharePoint doesn't do well with multiple report viewer web parts. if possible then merge the reports in one.

    How Can I Release sessions if these are idle long time Automatically based on some time frame..
    So that session memory will be free and when i go to reconnect the session then we will have enough memory for our transaction processing.
    I am asking this question because, In my case (Web Load Testing) after completion the processing this parameter still showing 86% Usage.
    so How Can I release it.

    Change value of IDLE_TIME in profile or better create new profile with less IDLE_TIME and assign to users.
    IDLE_TIME Allowed idle time before user is disconnected (minutes)
    Below is example if user is idle for 20 min , he/she will disconnect
    ALTER PROFILE developer LIMIT idle_time 20;

  • Why UPD processes execute report RSM13000 for very long time?

    When I use sm50 or sm51 to check my CRM system which version is 5.0, I found some UPD processes execute report RSM13000 for very long time. And some DIA processes are executing report SAPMSSY1 for verly long time too. They are occupy lot of processes of system. How does this happen? What's the reason and how to solve it?     Please check the configurtion of your system.As per your reply it seems that the work processes are not sufficient in the system.
    Hi wait time and response time  ,is  problem in the system.Either you have a lot of load on the system or you CPU's are over loaded.
    Please check the system status from st06 and look for the cpu utilisation /memory utilisation.
    SM66 to see the long running online and background jobs.
    St03n - look for the workload and wait times for all transactions.
    st02-may help in checking the memory paramaetrs.

    Hi I am trying to publish 2 reports in report manager that each have multiple tabs. The are Exprense and Revenue Trend reports that will publish for each balancing segment, one years previous data. I can publish in pdf and html however not very pretty. Excel is taking too long and eventually crashed my session. Does anyone have any info on excel performance issues: The compents of teach FSG are as follows:

    Content set ( this provides the blanacing segment)

  • Crystal report from MSC taking long time for the first time

    Hello Friends,
    I have a report designed in Crystal Reports to display the BP details. It is giving some performance issues. In the analysis it is found that it is taking long time immediately after i restart the machine. From the next time it is not that worse.
    If anybody is facing the same performance issue while using the crystal reports, kindly let me know the reasons for this. I would like to know the ways to increse the performance.

    Reporting is quiet a heavy component which interacts with many other dlls.
    What happens when you say generate report from the mobile application for the first time, UI Framework knows that it is a reporting call and it will instantiate Reporting Manager. Reporting Manager is the single point of contact for the entire reporting functionality. During the initialization of reporting manager,
    it needs to instantiate all other working components like Error Hanlder, Data handler, Resoure component and crystal reports etc..Resource component is a COM component and so there will be lot of Marshallign/Unmanrshalling from Dotnet calls. Since all these sub components are singleton classes, initialized only once for the first time and reuse the same instance in the subsequent attempts.

    My report script is taking very long time to execute and finally a message appears as timed out.
    I'm working on ASO Cubes and there are 14 dimensions for which i need to export all data for all the dimensions for only one version.
    The data is very huge and the member count in each dimension is also huge, so which is making me difficult to export the data.

    Here is a link that addresses several ways to optimize your report script. I utilize report scripts for Level 0 exports in an ASO environment as well, however the majority of our dimemsions are attribute dimensions.
    These are the most effective solutions we have implemented to improve our exports via report scripts:
    1. Make sure your report script is written in the order of how the Report Extractor retrieves data.
    2. Supressing Zero and Missing Data
    3. We use the LINK command within reports for some dimensions that are really big and pull at Level 0
    4. Using Symmetric reports.
    5. Breakout the exports in multiple reports.

    As the issue you are facing is that the webi report is taking too long to open and refresh, I would recommend the below steps.
    1. Check whether the webi report is set to "Refreh on Open" if yes probably you need to uncheck, save the report and open it again.
    2. Try to run the same query in the backend database and see if it returns the data.
    3. Try to run refresh the report for a smaller data selection.
    4. make the report run on a specific webi server, and when refreshing have your BOBJ admin monitor that process to see if the process is going in a hung state, using High memory etc.
    5. restart webi process and run again

    I have an issue with delete statement. below are my oracle DB details.

    I have a schema in the database which has 120 tables in it. The problem is, when the QA team is deleting the customers from customer table, it is running long time and haven't completed. this customer table have FK relation with other tables and have all the right indexes in place. then i have tried to identified the problem, why it is taking long time, and found that when they are running this delete query at the same time application is also running. the sessions created by application are locked most of the table and at the same time the delete session is also waiting for exclusive lock on those table. I given the same info to QA team and asked to stop the application when they deleting the customers. Then they said, they don't want to stop the application and the delete has to work and they asked for different solution. Here i am not sure, what solution i need to provide them.
    Can you please suggest me a approach and Thanks in advance.

    What is your OS and DB ?R3 trans version also depends on OS and DB. According to the note, its kernel version 107 but your system is already on 150.
    Depends on your OS and DB you can download the latest R3trand and tp and put it in the kernel. However, if your QA system works good with same R3trans and tp version, I would first suggest adding the parameter STMS --> system overview --> parameter (As per note 1127194 ) column before putting r3trans and tp.
    2). Did you check, how often your DB stats are running ? please update on this.
    3). Is your tablespace or DB has sufficient space ? please update on this.

  • Report Background Engine takes long time

    Hi all,
    I'm using Reports6i while the db is a 10gXE instance.
    When I click for the report, I see RBE starts but nothing happens for about 2-3 minutes; also in task manager I see RBE doesn't use CPU. After those minutes, ther parameter form appears. Even if the report doesn't require parameters, it still takes 2-3 minutes to show something.
    I also have other reports made with Reports6i and their behaviour is completely different: they take 2-3 seconds! The difference is these reports work on Oracle 8 instances.
    Maybe the problem is the Reports6i-Oracle10gXE interface?

    Formatting page 1 often means that the query is still executing, not that the page is formatting page 1.
    If the report is "Formating page 2" for a long while on a 3 page report (assuming page 2 is not another query in a different report section) it would seem that the query is passing bits of data back to the report a bit at a time.
    In this case try adding the ALL_ROWS hint which forces Oracle to retrieve all rows (you optimizer may be set to first_rows)

  • FIM Reporting initial sync running long time

    We have installed FIM Reporting last month , afterwards our FIM reporting initial sync powershell script is running from last month to Sync FIM data with SCSM server , but still only half data is synced with SCSM server ,
    we have 4 server
    1. Server1 --FIM server
    2. Server2 -- FIM database
    2. Server3 -- SCSM service manager  and SQL server Databases for Service manager and Data warehouse
    4. Server4 -- Data warehouse server
    As FIM initial sync script is taking long time to sync so we found some errors in Server 4 (Data warehouse server) multiple times during ETL jobs running.

    Please give some suggestions to make FIM initial sync faster

    Please try Resume-FIMReportingInitialSync instead of starting initial sync once again.
    Sadly Initial Sync is very long and even on test environments it can take a long time.
    But it seems that data from FIM was successfully moved to reporting database, but it hasn't been calculated by Service Manager correctly between its databases.
