Reporting problems in our area with calling 800 numbers.

We are having call connect issues in our area. I seemed to just notice some calls in my location at work will not go through.
My brother is telling me that he definitely has issues with dialing 800 numbers of which I can attest that some but can't confirm isf all of my recent connect issues have been with 800 numbers.
We are making calls to businesses that have 800 numbers only available and my brother who makes daily a lot of calls to 800 numbers has tried to get their local number when he can so as to bypass the 800 number.
The problem is that we will dial the number hear some clicking after sending it and then nothing the phone call time counter will continue to count and 99% of the time we will have to initiate the disconnect on our end for the system to hang up. I personally have let it stay connected as long as a minute or 2 before disconnecting. Then usually a second call will mediate connect and I will get a ringing and then a call connect. some times it will take upwards of 3-4 tries.
Also when you dial and go to connect and doesn't sometimes the phone will click over and then you will start hearing an echo back of everything you say and the mic picks up.
What is going on here?
My brother who like I said uses a lot of 800 numbers for business has had this problem definitively with the 800 numbers. is this something nationwide or just local to us. We are in the Elkton MD Fairhill area.

Hello Shutech! Your description of this issue is very curious indeed! We have no reports of issues calling toll free numbers reported throughout the network. May I have an example of one of the toll free numbers that have been dialed? I'd like to test with my VZW phone. Thanks!

Verizon coverage on Hilton Head Island, south end has been increasingly spotty. Please advise, calls are dropped, texts are not received or sent. Do not know what to do. This has been happening more frequently, but this past week it has been really bad. Help!

We are RV'S and to find an land line to make 800 numbers is hard. Why are they but aganst your min. specialy when checking on your bills etc. Any land line phone you can use and it's free, why not moble?

Since your wishing to call 800 numbers, these calls use airtime like any other call. However, the 800 number to Verizon Wireless customer service is free. If you call the 800 during off peak time(using unlimited nights and weekends) then those calls to 800 numbers would also be free. Also if you have a single calling plan of 900 minutes you have the option of 5 free Friends and Family numbers; or if you have a family share plan of 1400 minutes, you have the option of 10 free Friends and Family numbers. Problems running bat file with calls to java programs (.jar)

I created a bat file with calls to jar programs. In each line,
I put a call to the programs with parameters, but bat only
executes the first line and ends execution.
All lines of my bat file must be executed.
What should I do?

Problems executing batch input with call transaction

When I execute BI with Call transaction the fields disabled are enabled and I do not know why. How to resolve it? I do not want them to be enabled

I am having problems with an update. I spoke with Prabhudev on 9/27. He was unable to resolve my problem and referred me to call 800-833-6687. When I call, I get an automated message that help is not available. What now?

My Mac tells me there is an update for Photoshop CS5, the Camera Raw 6.7 update. It downloads, installs, then gives me an error message that the installation failed, error code U44M1P7, and advises contacting Customer Support. I did so. On 9/27 I chatted with Prabhudev. He referred me to a link to download the update. I did the download and tried to install. I got an error message - "Error - “AdobePatchInstaller.app” can’t be opened because it is from an unidentified developer. That number gets me to a recording that tells me that phone support is not available.
I can open and use Photoshop, but whenever I check for updates for my computer, this same update comes up, gets downloaded, and fails to install. I want to either get rid of the update message or get the update installed. Can anyone help?

Further info - I changed my security settings to allow apps from anywhere, and again tried to install. I again got an error message
that the update failed to install, and to contact Customer Support.

Problem dialling certain digits with Lumia 800

In order to find out how much pre-paid phone credit I have with my carrier, I can dial #123#, which works with my SIM in my iPhone (unlocked) and I get a response giving my available credit. However, when I try to dial this combination of digits with the same SIM in the Lumia 800 (unlocked), I always get the message 'failed'. Can anyone suggest how I might dial #123# on the Lumia? Usually service codes are in the format *[number]#
For instance by dialling *100# on my Lumia 800 I will get my calling credit with my carrier.

How can i solve the Problem, that our iCloud combines several iPhone Numbers. All SMS get confused by the changing of numbers

We have several iPhones and we are just using one iCloud and appleID.
But since the update of iOS 6 we are confused.
E.g. My mother sends a SMS to me, but my sister received it. She is confused and is texting back to My mom. But that time I get that text message.
Even if I send a SMS to a friend, my friend receives it from my sisters account.
Please help, cause we are so confused

icloud is designed so that only one user uses it to keep his/her devices in sync. Problems such as yours occur when multiple users use the same account - icloud is not designed for that.
If someone has another icloud account, and wants to set it up on a device, then go to Settings>icloud, scroll to bottom of screen and tap Delete Account. This only disconnects the device from that account, no data is lost on icloud. Then enter the account ID that you want to use.

Problem with calling a report from a function module. Please help! URGENT!

   I have a scenarion like this:
XI -
> Function Module -
> ABAP Report
From XI I am callingf a function module in another R/3 system. This function module inturn calls a ABAP report using SUBMIT statement. The function module and the report reside in the same R/3 system.
I am calling the report like this:
SUBMIT yseg_save_bp_data WITH SELECTION-TABLE rspar
                             AND RETURN.
The problem is when I run the function module directly in the R/3 system then it calls the report without any problem.
On the other hand, when I call the function module from XI then the report is not called. On debug mode I found that the program exits just at the Submit statement. Why is this strange problem?
What mistake am I doing? Is there any limitations or restrictions with SUBMIT statement.
What is the correct way of using submit statement in this scenario?

Hi Rao,
   I have created the FM as remote RFC. Infact XI is able to call the FM. Only problem is when it reaches the point where the report is called via SUBMIT it exits.

HT4718 are there any reported problems with safari with the new OS X Mavericks?

My early 2008 iMac running OS X 10.9.2 all of the sudden has problems loading pages in safari. The problem timing is the same as the upgrade to Maverick. The computer is connecting to wifi and other devices such as iPhones and three PCs have no problems. The ISP is Xfinity. Are there any reported problems with Maverick and Safari?

TS3367 FaceTime has a problem with calling (audio, video) between two devices when they are in the different networks.

I have a problem with calling by FaceTime when me and my friend are in the different networks.
When i call to another device I see this call on that device and tap to the answer button after that i see a message "connecting" but the first device is trying to call in during about 1 minute and finish the call.
But if both of the devices have connected to the one network (wifi) it works correct.

Actually, it started working fine when I told it to capture
sound at 11kHz.. I should have tried that first, before making a
fuss here, sorry. Looks like some weird glitch, a driver problem
maybe, but anyway, switching to 11kHz seems to have solved
it.
