Reports Developer 6i availability for Tru64 Unix?

Is Reports 6i Release 2 actually available for Tru64 Unix? I can't seem to find any information to indicate that it is -- or is it only available through the Application Server package?

Downloading Oracle8.1.6 for Tru64 UNIX

Where can I download Oracle 8.1.6 for Alpha Tru64 UNIX ? It is not available on the archives of the download page of OTN.

make sure the required characeter set (called subset in TRU64 UNIX) is loaded in OS ...
you can check with command 'setld -l <>'
i dont have a UNIX box with me now ... so i can't tell you exactly what it is ..
take help of any OS (TRU64 UNIX) expert !

Portal activity reports "No content available for the specified period."

Hello experts,
I'm running NW04S PS18 (7.0.18.0.0), and I like to create a activity report iview. I've turned on the service in the service configuration and it's all running and enabled there. Then I created an iview from the portal activity report template. Type of report is page/iview activity and reporting period is most recent activity for 1 week. I add a couple of iviews. When I preview the iview I get the message 'No content available for the specified period'. When I add a role where the iviews are included the reports shows data. I try it with pages and worksets but the report is only working when I add roles. When I add roles, the hits will be shown add role level. When iview 'a' is added to 3 roles, the iview is displayed 3 times in the report and not 1 time. Why?
Is it not possible to add just iviews?

Hi,
First check the monitor properties of the page/iview is properly enabled or not.
then add the role(in which your iview/page is present) to the portla activity report iview.
Delete all other pages/iviews/worksets/role except your iview/page. this can be done easily.
now save and check the report iview.

I encountered matching problem while trying to use Tuxedo 6.5 from the
original installation package. The best match for Compaq Tru64 UNIX 5.1
from the available platforms on the cd was "Digital Unix 4.0d on DEC
Alpha".
However the simpapp failed to shut down, just like Yshyang has written
below. After contacting BEA support, the support personnel asked if a
patch has been applied (check if a $TUXDIR/udataobj/patchlev file
exists). It didn't.
The Tuxedo 6.x platform data sheet at
http://www.bea.com/products/tuxedo/platforms_6.shtml
shows that Tru64 UNIX 5.1 is supported, if Tru64 UNIX 4.0b binaries with
patch level 160+ are used.
We got a separate patch for the 4.0b binaries, but working Tuxedo 6.5
installation binaries for Tru64 UNIX 5.0 are available for download at
BEA web site.

Problems with Tru64 UNIX 5.1b PCI-GPIB driver development

I am using your NI488.DDK product to develop a PCI-GPIB device driver for Tru64 UNIX 5.1b3. I have experience porting other device driver from 4.x to 5.1b and thought that this would not be too hard. The driver that I have developed loads and configures ok. It allows for the IBFIND of /dev/gpib0 minor #255 to work fine because a bus table is built for it during the probe/attach. When I try an IBFIND on /dev/gpib_dev/dev1 I get an error from ni_Cp2BusPtr for minor #51 because no table is created for the devx devices during driver initialization. I don't see where this was done in the example ib.c code provided for Tru64 Unix 4.x, am I missing something?

This is really an update to my original posting for those of you who may have similar concerns.
The source code provided as part of the NI488DDK kit is not really a fully functional driver with the same capabilities as they provided in the device driver that they devloped for Tru64 UNIX 3.x and 4.x. The the "ib" commands supported by the DDK driver is a subset of the entire ni488 suite. None of the device specific "ib" command are supported, neither is ibask. Device commands are written to the bus as character strings that contain device addresses and command.

Crystal Reports for Eclipse vs. Crystal Reports Developer

We are developing a Java web application for internal use. Since we have some people at the company who are familiar with Crystal Reports, we'd like to have them write reports that we can display through our application. Crystal Reports Server seems like overkill for this project, but the <a href="http://devlibrary.businessobjects.com/BusinessObjectsXIR2/en/devsuite.htm#en/JRC_SDK/">JRC</a> sounded like a good fit.
I have been evaluating <a href="http://www.businessobjects.com/products/reporting/crystalreports/developer/default.asp">Crystal Reports Developer</a> and trying out the <a href="http://support.businessobjects.com/communityCS/FilesAndUpdates/crxi_r2_jrc_web_samples.zip.asp">JRC samples</a>. The samples don't use the tag library. Instead, they show how to set session variables and redirect to a viewer JSP which contains a bunch of Java code to use the CrystalReportViewer.
The samples are so much more complex than the code created by Crystal Reports for Eclipse, which simply uses the tag library:

This is the difference, as I understand it:
Crystal Reports Developer gives you the stand-alone Crystal Reports Designer and the right to run the JRC on an internal server. It costs <a href="http://store.businessobjects.com/store/bobjects/DisplayProductDetailsPage/productID.40434600">$595</a>.
Crystal Reports for Eclipse Standard provides a free report designer built into Eclipse. It also includes the JRC for use on an internal server.
Crystal Reports for Eclipse Professional provides "a more powerful runtime engine" with the right to run it on one internal server. If the "powerful" JRC is the same as Crystal Reports Developer's JRC, could I install Crystal Reports for Eclipse Standard to take advantage of the Eclipse integration and the built-in designer, but use the more powerful JRC from Crystal Reports Developer, which would also give me the stand-alone designer?

It is the latest version of the JRC and includes many updates not available in Crystal Reports Developer.As for "power" the JRC included in CR Developer is on par with the JRC available in the Basic edition of Crystal Reports for Eclipse. Does Oracle or any user knows developer client 11g will be available on Windows 7 64-bit? If yes, when?
We are in OAS 11g Web Logic however I have to continue using developer 10g on Windows XP. Really awkward.

Developer Suite 11g does not exist as it was for 10gR2/10gR1 but you can create your own Report Developer 11g environment.
