Reports error (Very Urgent)

Hi,
When my client runs one report say xxxx he is dealing with 2 problems:
1) When he executes the report the menu bar does'nt show the options like "List" or "Settings" or "System" like we get in any reports also earlier it was working fine so if can anybody tell me what can be the error.
2) 2nd issue is when the same report the downloads to excel
the fields shud come from "Left" to "Right" as it comes for any report but for this report for first few fields say frst 10 fields comes properly from left to right format but then the othen fields come below the fileds i.e. below 1-10 fields as well as their data too comes in the same format. here too earlier it was working fine.
Plz its urgent can anybody help me into this.
Points will be rewarded for the same.

This may be realted to Bug in the program,so You better to take help from the ABAP guy to Debug the program and they can able to fix the issue.
Because this may not configuration issue,

I have this oracle report which calls 14 other reports and runs them
the main report I run via a link.
However I get this engine null crashed error or else Engine rwEng-0 is destroyed due to timeout error.

You do know there is a Reports forum? You may find better luck Reports.
Which version of Reports? Which version of App Server? Does this report ever run? Have you tried it with a subset of the called reports? Is it one particular report that causes the problem?

Have a big problem with report. Very urgent please help

I have a report rep1. When I run the report via batch thru command rwclient to create a file it failed. I got the follwoing error message:
REP-0177: Error while running in remote server
Job 1413 is terminated due to connection timeout.
It does not even try for few seconds before gives this message. I ran some other batch reports whihc took 15 minutes and they were fine.
So, I stopped running the bad report for the day thinking the report is still not dead. I ran the same rep1 next day I still get the same error message. But this time when I ran I looked at the appserver showjobs (which lists the reports that were running and that already ran). The job number is different But still it fails in 3 seconds with the job number 1413 and connection time out. Can any one tell what might be the problem.
Any number of times I run this job I get the same job number with same error (all this is only if I run it as batch using rwclient). If I run this as online by calling it from a form it returns the results without any problems.
Please help. Very urgent.

You might want to delete the report server .dat file and restart the server and try
his also could be one of the issues we had seen and fixed in 9.0.2.3. Please ensure you have the latest patch applied

FRM-99999 Network Error(Very Urgent)

I have installed Oracle 8.0 & Forms 5.0 on NT 4.0 & also WAS
3.0 on the same Machine. But the problem, I am facing is that
the forms show up, but we get FRM-99999 Network Error at any
arbitary point of time .
Please help

Hi gyus,
I got a similar error while having images included on the form.
After cutting the images out it worked fine.
When this is the problem, check your directory mapping in the web
server.

Reports Failing(Stack Overflow Error) - very urgent

Hi,
I try to run a report on the command line or using reports runtime engine or reports builder in win2000 and i keep on getting this error:
The exception unknown software exception(0xc00000fd STACK OVER FLOW ERROR)occurred in the application at location 0x008c7781.
The report runs fine in other formats(i.e pdf,html,htmlstyle sheet) and preview mode .When i selected delimited format, report fails at the time of writing in to text or excel format .
Please advice me .

I'm getting an error in one of my reports (actually, it's more than one, but my "Income" report gets it more than most) which only occurs a few times a day. The report works fine between errors. The error is;

To fix the report, I have to do something very strange. I open the report in answers, remove the "Income Centres"."Income Centre" column and the "Income Centres"."Income Centre" "is prompted", click the "results" tab, and it works. If I then navigate back to the dashboard (WITHOUT SAVING), the report is working.
Caching is turned off, and I'm bypassing the Presentation Services Cache.
The report works well (drilldown, etc) apart from this randomly appearing error.
The RPD compiles without any errors/warnings.
Any suggestions?

I have seen similar behavior before.
If you check the physical SQL issued, it must be using some different LTS when it gives error and different LTS/Joins when it runs fine.
This is because the path selected by OBIEE server.
I recommend raising a Service Request.
However as a quick fix, if you know which is the correct LTS or path, make a dummy conformed dimension ( Or fact ) based on your design with very low cost, to make sure correct LTS is chosen every time.
Apart from this, I couldnt find a perfect solution either.
Lets see if experts have any word on this one.

The error description given by you is very general, can you provide us with more details? Go to Monitor->status, there at the bottom you can see "Error Message", click on that and it will give you error details. Check if that gives you sufficient information to understand and correct the error, otherwise post those details.

Hi all,
          I have the above issue like am working on BI7 reporting and i want a monthly report and the report should be like above.The user want to see the result of each segment in the next row.And after two result rows, one over all result of the two.
When I put a filter in the report then i can see the subresult of single segment but am not able to see the rest of the Segments.It is just showing the filtered segment with the subresult. I want to see all the segments with the subresult and overall result rows.
Can it possible in the report if it is then Plz tell me how to do that.Its urgent

I guess ORI-DES is a characteristic. if yes then, Ori-des should come before Flt. NO. and in properties->display, result rows should be 'Always display' to get desire result

Payables Open Interface Pgm fails without any error(Very urgent)

All,
I'm into an integration project where in I'm pushing Invoice doc from a third party appln to Oracle apps (11.5.10.2) thru payables open interface. The integration is smooth till today. We pushed a record today, but the concurrent neither picks up the data but failed with 'completed error' status. When I delete the same record from the interface, the concurrent runs fine. So we are sure there is some issue with the data in my record. Since concurrent is failed without any reason, from where I can get the log to know what is the actual problem with that record? Pls help me with your inputs.

The database log file can be usually found under $ORACLE_HOME/admin/<SID>_<hostname>/bdump directory (or from SQL*Plus, issue "show parameter background_dump_dest").

XI_J2EE_ADAPATER_ENGINE error -- Very urgent

Folks . I am running a scneario of
DB System ³ JDBC Adapter ³ XI -³ RFC Adapter ³ SAP R/3 --³ XI BPM will call File adapter
The value is getting picked from the DB but it is not reaching the Integration Server . I dont get any error in the adapaters but message doesnt flow .
To understand my error i did a test on
RWB
went to component monitoring --> adapater --> clicked on the test and executed the test
i am getting XI_J2EE_ADAPATER_ENGINE error

Hi Venkatesh,
Check the RFC connection, if that is fine go to Content Administration-> Web Dynpro -> search for the application you created and test from there.
to my understanding it's only because of the RFC you are using either you need to create or the password is expired.
And test the connection in sm59.

Cfgrid error -very urgent, pls help

I am working on a cfgrid to populate records and also there is a search button used for searching too. But when I enter a keyword and click search,
grid will show correct records needed. But if I clicked 3 or 4 times search button after entering keyword, an error comes as follows "CFGRID: Response is empty [Enable debugging by adding 'cfdebug' to your URL parameters to see more information]" .From application.log, I got this error mesage - The row number 0 is out of bounds. When search button clicked, I am using Coldfusion.Grid.refresh to bind the grid.. and also I am fetching records from a text file, which contains about 3000 records.
And also when I tested this with 15 records in a text file, this error is not coming...
Atleast can you provide any mechanism to hide the error..
I have tried try catch method, but failed to catch the error...

Do you want to change the message type? If you do you MUST drop the queue and start over again from the beginning.
Do you want to enqueue messages?
Post your DDL and other relevant information or you are on your own. We can not guess at your issue.

Please let me know what is the currency of the document you are trying to post? Please mention how your CAD is maintained. Example: If CAD is maintained against USD and you are trying to convert EUR, then a rate should exist for EUR and USD conversion for the CAD amount to be determined.
Please check these settings also.
