Reports genaration

Hi All,
Can anyone please tell me how to take out reports for below mentioend things if i want to take for a perticulare period,
Termination : Terminated employee list for the current year
Transfer : Transfered employee list for the current year;
what are the reports we genarate for the same.

as shared by our mate, you could use S_AHR_61016369 tcode or program->RPLMIT00 for list of employee with STAT2 as 0.
or S_PH9_46000223 tcode and AQZZ/SAPQUERY/H2FLUCTUATIONS== in se38(entries and leavings)
as far as emp transfer goes we did lot of customised reports ,ideally depends on the buss needs .if standard meets ur requirement u can stick on to it.by proposing new reports you might have a chance of increasing the revenue to ur comp:) by billing ur client;)

web client means what how can reach my requirements. using with Oprater report genaration is possible ? or how ?
See using with 'sqlunload' also we can get some information like we can write select query and genarate some information also . but this is not sufficient i think also.
and u said u want personal reoprt don't forget DB Repository. whats that mean.
u didn't explained about specific report BO, Cognos or jasper report tools.
Finaly if am using Jasper Reports what is the procedure can uexpalin the steps.

Big reports and errors

I have to genarate realy big reports (10 MB or greater) using WebServices as data
sources
Is there any way of generating this report in parts and then marge this parts
in one big report?
If something fails (for example problems with network connection) I don't want
to start all from begining, and I want to use same partial results of previous
report genaration

In the current release of LD, if part of the query fails, the whole query fails.
If you want to have the pieces individually, you will need to write individual
XQueries for each part. You can create one result by assembling the parts in an
XQuery that takes each of the parts as a Complex Parameter Type.

How to control MS excel from labiew ?

I'm using Labview 5.1 and i would like to Know if is possible to totally control MS excel from Labview: to write into a specific file of MS excel wich contain already some information.

Generally you use ActiveX to control Excel from LabVIEW. The best way to understand that would be to run 'Write Table to Excel" example that ships with labview. You can access that example by going to Help>>Search Example and then under "activeX".
Also for more flexible control of excel from labview you can also use the latest "Report Genaration Toolkit" for labview that allows you to interact not only with Excel but also MS Word.

Need Help on Jasper Ropert !!!

* I am working on jasper reports,I have successfully generated sample pdf report from a java program.
* But i am getting problems when i tend to call that report genarating method from a commandButton of a jsp page.
The java code executed successfully:

Simulair report for FBL5N and FBL1N for new general ledger on segment level

We are working with segments in new G/L ledger. We want to run a open item report where we can combine customers and vendors by segment. The vendors and customers are linked in the master data. In the "old" reports FBL5N and FBL1N you can do this but not by segment.I found the following report on segment level:
- S_PCO_36000218 - Receivables: Segment
- S_PCO_36000219 - Payables: Segment
What I'm missing is to run 1 report for Customers and vendors. What I'm missing to is that there are only some fields available on line item level. (I like to have invoice number, documentype,.......)
Is there a standard report for this in new genaral leger?
Is it possible to ad additional field to th list viewer.

What is this user license type? All financial transactions need professional license.

Forms 3.0 and Reports 1.5

Hi everyone,
Will forms 3.0 and reports 1.5 work with Oracle 8.x.
If yes then how is it done.
If no then is there a way to convert forms 3.0 and reports 1.5
applications to forms 4.5 and reports 3.0 i.e. from a character
mode platform to GUI mode.

Hi there!
Now if you are upgrading to FORMS5 then you need to rename the
INP file to FMB and then run it through the genarator
(F5gen32). This does work because I use this technic.

I am working on Reports and I have developed a report based on SQL Query with some binding variables.
I am facing problem with the null values. I guess, the query is not working properly.
Can somebody clarify the fallowing,I have displayed the SQLConditions below which is genarated in the report, when the display SQL query option is checked...

while genarating secondary list based on uer actions( double click), we provide the logic for genarating list unsder AT LINE-SELECTION event.
AT LINE-SELECTION.

When the user triggers the function code PICK, AT LINE-SELECTION is always triggered if the cursor is positioned on a list line. The function code PICK is, by default, always linked with function key F2 and hence with the mouse double-click.
Example for AT LINE-SELECTION.
REPORT demo_list_at_line_selection.
START-OF-SELECTION.
WRITE 'Basic List'.
AT LINE-SELECTION.
WRITE: 'Secondary List by Line-Selection',
/ 'SY-UCOMM =', sy-ucomm.
When you run the program, the basic list appears with the standard list status. The detail list shows that SY-UCOMM has the value PICK.
To pass individual output fields or additional information from a user selected line to the corresponding processing block during an interactive event, use these statements:
HIDE
The HIDE statement is one of the fundamental statements for interactive reporting. You use the HIDE technique when creating a basic list. It defines the information that can be passed to subsequent detail lists.
READ LINE
Use the statements READ LINE and READ CURRENT LINE to read data from the lines of existing list levels. These statements are closely connected to the HIDE technique.
GET CURSOR
Use the statements GET CURSOR FIELD and GET CURSOR LINE to pass the output field or output line on which the cursor was positioned during the interactive event to the ABAP program.
DESCRIBE LIST
The DESCRIBE LIST statement allows you to read certain list attributes, such as the number of lines or pages, into program variables.

Error when generating the report in Production Server

Hi,
I have created one infoset query in Development server of my client. It is working fine there. I had transported the request containg this query to Production server. But whenever I am trying to generate report using this query in Production server it is giving an error message
"Error when generating the report".
I am not getting what 's problem.

Genarally its not suggested to transport Queries. Should be able to create Queries directly Production. There might be diferences between your Development and Production versions.

I have developed a report to create sales orders. The report was working fine in quality, after transfering to the production some archive is getting created and it is occupying a lot of space. Could u tell me what is this archive and how can I rectify this bug.

500 SAP Internal Server Error, in WD report while launching SC in SRM 7.01

Dear SAP WD Gurus,
We have recently upgraded the SRM 7.0 to EHP1 after that we are getting ths below
We have created Z WD application genarating report in SRM 7.0, we have provided a hytep link in row to display shopping cart in the report. on click of display we are getting error as below on Browser (Portal)
500 SAP Internal Server Error
ERROR: WebDynpro Exception: URLhttp// XXXXXX may contain fatal script (termination: RABAX_STATE)
where the URL is properly working fine if we run through browser.
and even getting dump as below

FYI this is the wrong forum. Even though the problem started taking place after an UPG/EHP, this is still a matter for the Portal team, not the ugprade one
Anyhow I'll try to help you. This dump is mostly seen when you call the webdynpro from a non-supported browser. Please check PAM (http://service.sap.com/PAM) for the supported ones.
Are you using a SM59 call to the WD? You can not connect to a Webdynpro
application via SM59 as SM59 is not a supported. You can only use the browser visible in the PAM to access WD. /* e.G. IE 6.0, IE 7.0, Firefox */

Hidding the condition in reports

Hello All,
I have genarated a report with some binding variables, It will produce a custom form for the values to consume.
there is a drop down box in the custom report for conditions to be set. I want to hide this drop down box for the end user.
Or How to build the "Reports From Query Wizard" without the drop down box(which contains the condition, I will set the conditions by saving them once..) or hide in the custom report which is provided by the portal prior to genarate report.

I have a JSP that generates links to a Servlet, the problem is that in the M$-Explorer the url appears
when you pass the mouse-pointer over the link, how can I hide the URL? or how to hide the Servlet
Url and params?If your JSP is providing the links as anchor tags (i.e. '<a href=...') then their is really very little that can ultimately be done about it. Some JavaScript and CSS can be thrown in to keep the link from showing up in the browser's "info line". However, unless you also throw in some script to also keep the user from being able to view the page source, this is only going to superfically "mask" the information and not really "hide" it. Yet, even with disabling "view source" the user can still also disable JavaScript in the browser making all this moot. ;)
A better solution to the matter is to move the "linking" from the client over to the server instead. Spend some time investigating the Front Controller pattern (see http://java.sun.com/blueprints/patterns/FrontController.html), and RequestDispatcher. Using 'buttons' in your JSP to signal views to the controller and session objects to store parameters already known to your application will take your application a lot farther in the long run than embedding HTML links in your front JSP. ;)

using this event we can genarate basic list.
end-of-selection.
we can use this event also for genarating basic list
top-of-page.
this event is related to list, we can use this event to providing list header.
end-of-page.
this event is related to list, we can use this event to providing list footer.
if our program reading data from logical database, in that case GET and
GET LATE events triggered to genarate report.
interactive repotrs.
we use AT LINE -SELECTION and AT USER-COMMAND events to genarate secondary events based on user actions.
TOP-OF-PAGE DURING LINE-SELECTION EVENT, provides page heading to all secondary lists.
PBO and PAI events also used to genarating list.
