Reports in service management

Hi All,
can any one send me some sample  reports in service management ,and also tables used in Service Management.Its very urgent....
Thanks in advance.
Amith

Hi Juwadi,
Supports a range of service contract reports, including customer's service contracts, service contracts terminated by a specific date, service contracts that should be renewed by a specific date, service contracts per contract status, service contract per contract template, and service contract per contract type.
Service call reports enable the users to see all open and overdue service calls. A monitor report provides the manager with dynamic views of open and overdue calls. An addition report displays the open service calls of the user who logged on.
Hope this might be helpful to you.

  • Reporting In Service Manager 2012 - How To Get A List Of All Service Requests Regardless of Status

    Within the Custom Reporting Options available to users of Ssystem Center Service Manager 2012, which would one use to create reports that do not contain any agregated data but are instead detail level info such as a list of all Service Requests reardless
    of status?  I want to include within the report the same data you see on the main page of a Service Request when you double-click a Service Request within Service Manager and it pops opne the details of the Service Request.
    I'm trying to get the following info for each Service Requests
    SR ID (i.e. SR1234)
    Affected User
    Title
    Description
    Priority
    Source
    Area
    Support Group

    I know the cubes w/Excel offer a great way to get data for a **piece meal report or for getting agregated data (I.E. counts, sums, avergares, Max's & Mins) but I need a report that has zero totals and no agregations.
    Thanks
    ** A piece meal report is a report that has to be manually pieced together by combining data from others reports and other sources because no single report can be constructed to bring all the data togethere into a single report.  If you've ever
    worked with an accountant taht uses Excel for everything but who has no idea how SQL or databases in general are deisgned then chances are you've either been asked to create a piece meal report for them and or seen them do one them selves when they open a
    spreadshet and dump into it disperate data from a variety of sources and then ask you why you can't automate that same report for them.

    the following thread covers some good SQL queries to get details about the Incident Request, just amend them to cover the Service Request

  • Service Manager 2012 R2 - Data warehouse Issue

    i have an issue with a customer with their Data warehouse Server. when ever we generate a report using Service Manager we are not seeing data in the report. example - we only see 4 incidents on reports when we generate them and these are many months
    old records. within the database there are 1000+ Incidents created however when generating a report only shows us 4 incidents. i'm trying to figure out why it's only showing few records whereas it should show all the records when we generate. i have this
    issue now with two customers
    i can see that the Data warehouse jobs are running without issues. they are not failing. please let me know how i can get this issue fixed

    Open up an SQL management studio and connect to the database that hosts the data warehouse database. Run a query against this following views.
    Incident
    SELECT * FROM [DWDataMart].[dbo].[IncidentDimvw]
    If we look at the Incident query if this only returns 4 incidents as your report then the sync to the data warehouse is not working correctly. I would recommend runnung travis ETL job to run all the data warehouse jobs in the correct order. You can find
    it here. https://gallery.technet.microsoft.com/PowerShell-Script-to-Run-a4a2081c
    And if that still does not help there is another few blog posts for troubleshooting the data warehouse but lets try this first and go from there.

  • Service manager console can't connect to Service manager data warehouse SQL reporting services

    When I start Service manager console, it gives this kind of error:

    We have a four server set-up where SCSM, SCDW, and sqls for both are on different servers. Also I have red that this could be a SPN problem, but this has  been worked on last week without the SPNs.

    On the computer you get the "SQL Reporting Services server is currently unavailable" message please open the Internet Explorer and try to connect to the URL <a href="http:///reports">http://<NameOfReportingServer>/reports
    This should open the reporting website in IE. If this isn't working you should check the proxy settings in IE. If the URL doesn't work in IE it won't work in the SCSM console as well (and vice versa).

    Actually I can't access to the reporting website. It asks me credentials 3 times and then return a blank page. Also error message comes to the EventViewer System log with id 4 and source Security-Kerberos.
    The Kerberos client received a KRB_AP_ERR_MODIFIED error from the server "accountname".
    The target name used was HTTP/"reporting services fqn". This indicates that the target server failed to decrypt the ticket provided by the client.
    This can occur when the target server principal name (SPN) is registered on an account other than the account the target service is using.
    Ensure that the target SPN is only registered on the account used by the server.
    This error can also happen if the target service account password is different than what is configured on the Kerberos Key Distribution Center for that target service.
    Ensure that the service on the server and the KDC are both configured to use the same password.
    If the server name is not fully qualified, and the target domain (domain.com) is different from the client domain (domain.com), check if there are identically named server accounts in these two domains,
    or use the fully-qualified name to identify the server.
    I can access the website directly from the server which hosts Reporting Services.
    Also I query "setspn -Q HTTP/"reporting services fqn" whit result NO SUCH SPN FOUND.

  • I can't see the Reporting Workspace in Service Manager Console PLEASE HELP

    I can't see the Reporting Workspace in Service Manager Console PLEASE HELP

    Hello,
    If you don't have an entry like "SQL Server Reporting Services (InstanceName)" in Windows Service Manager (Services.msc) then because SSRS service not installed on that machine. Install it, then you will see such an entry.
    Olaf Helper
    This is not an SQL issue it's a SC Service Manager issue. Reporting Services is installed and running on the SQL side. The problem is that as I am now aware I cannot get the Data Warehouse Server to register in the Service Manager consoles to connect that
    with the canned reports and turn on Reporting Workspace. Any thoughts?

  • Service Manager 2012 R2 report libraries don't deploy

    So I've got a fresh install of Service Manager 2012 R2 with SQL Server '08 R2 in the 4 server layout, everything on Hyper-V. My issue is this: after registering the data warehouse, everything appears to function normally, the MPSyncJob completes its first
    pass and other jobs show up in the list but the reports section of the management console is never populated. All of the management packs deploy just fine except for the report libraries and there is no indication/logs of issues on any of the servers. I've
    gone through the manual setup setups for SSRS several times with no change in results. This is the 4th full reinstall of Service Manager with the same result.
    Any thoughts? Is there any way to tell whether or not SSRS is actually functioning as intended? Are there any special database permissions that need to be configured for the DW reports service account (I have read all set)?

  • Saving Existing Linked Reports / Favorites before reinstalling Service Manager DW

    Is there a mechanism to save existing linked reports and favorite reports before unregistering the DW, deleting the current DW databases and then doing a reinstall of the DW with new databases.  In a lab environment, I had kept the ReportServer db
    and deleted the dw ones but all the reports disappeared.
    O.

    you're best bet here is to
    look to SSRS practices, since this behavior is entirely SQL report server and has nothing unique for Service Manager
    Don't think that's all that is needed since I reused the original report server database when doing my reinstall.  Also after uninstalling the DW all the System Center SSRS folders got removed, even though I still had the SSRS database in place.

  • Report Layout Service in 2005

    Hi
    I'm trying to use the report layout service to delete a layout, but it is always giving a error. I'm most probably doing something silly,here is the code. Please let me know if you see a problem
    Try
    Dim oReportLayout As SAPbobsCOM.ReportLayout
    Dim oReportParam As SAPbobsCOM.ReportLayoutParams
    'get report params
    oReportParam = oReportLayoutService.GetDataInterface(SAPbobsCOM.ReportLayoutsServiceDataInterfaces.rlsdiReportLayoutParams)
    oReportParam.LayoutCode = "QUT20006"
    'get the default layout of the specific document
    oReportLayout = oReportLayoutService.GetReportLayout(oReportParam)
    oReportLayout.Author = "manager"
    oReportLayout.Name = "Sales Quotation_Test"
    oReportLayoutService.DeleteReportLayout(oReportLayout)
    sErrMsg = oCompany.GetLastErrorDescription()
    If sErrMsg = Nothing Then
    MsgBox("Completed succesffully")
    Else
    MsgBox("Error:" & sErrMsg)
    End If
    Catch ex As Exception
    MsgBox(ex.Message)
    End Try
    Thanks in advance

    Hi Marco Antonio Blanco Freja
    Thank you for answering my thread. Really appreciate it. I did declare them, here is a insert again, ive moved it to a place where you can see it.
    'Global Variable
    Public oCompanyService As SAPbobsCOM.CompanyService
    Dim oReportLayoutService As SAPbobsCOM.ReportLayoutsService
    'in procedure
    try
    Dim oReportLayout As SAPbobsCOM.ReportLayout
    Dim oReportParam As SAPbobsCOM.ReportLayoutParams
    oCompanyService = oCompany.GetCompanyService
    'get report service
    oReportLayoutService = oCompanyService.GetBusinessService(SAPbobsCOM.ServiceTypes.ReportLayoutsService)
                'get report params
    oReportParam = oReportLayoutService.GetDataInterface(SAPbobsCOM.ReportLayoutsServiceDataInterfaces.rlsdiReportLayoutParams)
    oReportParam.LayoutCode = "QUT20006"
    'get the default layout of the specific document
    oReportLayout = oReportLayoutService.GetReportLayout(oReportParam)
    oReportLayout.Author = "manager"
    oReportLayout.Name = "Sales Quotation_Test"
    oReportLayoutService.DeleteReportLayout(oReportLayout)
    sErrMsg = oCompany.GetLastErrorDescription()
    If sErrMsg = Nothing Then
    MsgBox("Completed succesffully")
    Else
    MsgBox("Error:" & sErrMsg)
    End If
    Catch ex As Exception
    MsgBox(ex.Message)
    End Try
    It gives an error by oReportLayoutService.DeleteReportLayout(oReportLayout) and the error is "Specified cast is not valid". We usually get this error when something was not done correctly...i can't spot the problem. Can You???
    Thanks again

    I've already found the reason why all stopped working - someone deleted the report manager URL HTTPS bindings (in Report services configuration manager). Added it back, than reporting started to work. Awww!

  • SOAP Messaging Using Crystal Reports Web Services To Return Report in PDF or Excel Format

    All,
    I am trying to use SOAP messaging to fetch a Crystal Report through a Managed repository and getting back either a PDF or Excel file. For some reason, any reference to web services on this site I cannot access. Like thread, "Using Web Services on the Crystal Report Server XI to return reports".  Can anyone point in a direction to Web Service Calls API documentation or does this not exist ?????? I would hope this product has this capability.
    Thanks In Advance,
    Tom

    XI Release 2 Service Pack 2 introduced the Business Process BI Web Services, that allow you to retrieve reports using SOAP messaging.
    It's documented here:

  • Generating pdf report via concurrent manager and xml publisher

    I have report (rdf) which works fine in eBusiness Suite but I’d like to create translatable reports with reach layout (comparing with the Report Builder) based on the functionalities of the XML publisher. I’ve made all necessary steps (first change the output format for that report in concurrent manager from pdf to xml, submit the report to get xml file, which I’ve used in Microsoft Word Template Builder to make layout in rtf file, and create data and template in XML Publisher Administrator in eBusiness Suite).
    When I’ve submitted that report from concurrent manager, after the concurrent manage finished his job I got the warning message.
    Also the output file is not generated and in log file there is a message: One or more post-processing actions failed. Consult the OPP service log for details.
    Concurrent manager works fine, but there are problem when concurrent manager send the xml output of the report to XML Publisher which have to create pdf layout based on rtf template.
    I think there might be a problem with report complexity, while I’ve used layout formatting, api calls to eBusiness Suite, parameters, placeholders, attached library etc.
    If it is impossible to get new report based on xml publisher template, what is the purpose of xml publisher if it is so limited, while every eBusiness Suite Report is so complex.
    I hope there will be a person on this forum with the same problem, otherwise I’ll give up at all from XML Publisher, at least until it come a better version of that tool which it seems to be in early development phase and not ready for the market yet.

    All of the complex report logic is handled in your Oracle Report (rdf) file.
    If your Oracle report is working OK, then this report should be generating XML.
    After running your report, go to the View Requests window. Highlight your request, and click the Diagnostics button. Then click the 'View XML' button. If you see XML data, then you should be OK.
    When I faced a similar issue, it was because the '1 step' process didnt work for the particular report I was using. The '1 step' process doesn't work for every report. Which report are you using?
    If the report is submitted via a form (not the concurrent manager request form), then you probably need to use 2 steps to produce the desired output.
    For more information, see the following thread:
    Enhancment to avoid 2 step check printing
