Reports - IS OIL
We are using the IS oil functionality for oil material. While making GRN we are using multiple unit of measurement.
Is there any report is available, which shows the the quantity in all the UOM.
Or is there any config by which we can add the field in some standard report...

I have a SAP report for stock posting date with T-Code as MB5B and
the report name is RM07MLBD.
When I enter Material no, plant code , Movement type (101) and selection
dates for a month, The report is displaying but not break by Movement type instead it is showing all the movement type....?
Can anyone have idea about this

It clearly says that material group can't be changed in case you will use material master in purchase order.
So, it is clear that you can't use different material group for material master in purchase order.
For stock report, system will only show you the material group which is assigned to the material master (MARA-MATKL). System will not look into the purchase order section (like EKPO). -

We r developing one report for PM in BI.........The requirement is that there are several consumable material like oil, grease, petrol etc which r assigned against PM orders as components. Under location tab we r having various PM location maintainance objects and respective cost center against which it is going to book the cost of consumable.
what i need is that i shld able to see PM orderwise consumption of consumable material w.r.t to their PM location(STORT) ,Cost center(KOSTL).
I m able to get consumption data for movt.261 issue from stores against PM order for that Consumables.
But in which table i can get PM location(STORT) and respective cost center in relation with PM orders.

How To Add Two Heading in ALV Report
Hello Guys,
Currently I am Working on a report Contain 45 Column. Each 45 Column have there own heading like Days Target,Days Achieve..like this.
Our Requirement is That
1.Upper side of the First 10 Column one more heading required like Production Details .
2. From 11 to 20 One More Heading Called Furnace Oil. like that only.
I ask users That is not possible in ALV but they are adhere to that requirement.
Can it's is possible in ALV Grid To have a two Heading Column.

Normally the specified requirment is not possible with the ALV...
But you can try with the tricky way... where you need to use the Hierarchical ALV.
Here you need to specify the two fields in the header table for the specified headings, and you need to declare these two fields in the item table also.
But in this case you will have one blank line on the report output(for the header data).

Members of the Smart List aggregated in the FR report
I have a Hyperion Planning 9.3.1 application where one of the scenarios has SmartList associated with it. The SmartList is used on one of the forms, where accounts are in the rows and scenarios are in the columns. First value in the SmartList is “Yes”, second - “No”. The user may select one of these values or not to select anything.
I have a financial report that uses this Planning application as the data source. This report matches the form, with accounts in the rows and scenarios in columns.
Here what happens. Say I have two accounts – “Oil” and “Gas”. Both are children of account “Fuels”. Both have “Yes” selected on the form. “Fuels” has nothing selected on the form.
When I run the report, I see “Yes” for this two accounts, as I expect to, but I also see “No” for “Fuels”. If I change a form and put “Yes” for “Gas” and “No” for “Oil”, for instance, then in the report for “Fuels” I will see number “3”.
It looks like it sums up the values associated with the members of smartlist and present an aggregated number. “Yes” is equal to “1”, that’s why in the first case I get “No” which is an equivalent to 1+1. If I have “Yes” and “No” – I get 3 because it sums up 1 and 2. And as there is not member of the smarlist with value “3” it just shows this number.
Any way how I either suppress these aggregated values on the report or prevent the values for this scenario from aggregation?
Thanks!I generally have all my SmartList members with the consolidation member "Never". This ensures that the member doesn't get aggregated for any dimenson.

Problem during IS-OIL activation transport: "ERROR during DD ACTIVATION"
Dear All,
On Development system, is-oil was previously activated with SFW5
transaction (notes 908007, 874541); afterwards transport was created on
development system and imported on the production system, but
unsuccessfully!
On Production system, we have the following errors on file SLOG0847.GP6:
ERROR: stopping on error 12 during DD ACTIVATION
ERROR: stopping on error 12 during MOVE NAMETABS
Please have a look to the following logs to have a complete view of the problem.
Could you suggest a solution for this problem?
Additionally, a very important question is:
Is it necessary activate IS-OIL with transport in the live system,
or is it possible activate it manually?

I have a RDF, which has cross tab layout. For this I need to create RTF template.

MM Audits - What to report on to ensure total stock optimisation
Evening,
wondering if you guys can help out here. I have recently started a new position (Inventory Controller in Oil and Gas Industry) and i am only just beginning to understand the MM module in SAP. I have been involved in the RLM module in the past with other Oil and Gas companies. I also manage MRP and release reqs in ME55, follow the RFQ piece and ultimately, create and release PO's.
What i was looking to do was ensure that the inventory that is held matches what SAP says. Stock checks are the obvious solution but, i believe other areas in SAP that auditors pick up on also need some close attention. I have been reporting on the following:
Excess stock
Review of Critical Spares
PD/ND review (Ensuring that an MRP [PD] stock type is changed to ND when the materials have been consumed)
Disposals
Total Stock Value
Stock Issues and Receipts.
The question for you guys is: Is there anything else that can be reported to ensure total stock optimisation.
Appreciate any tips that the Auditors are likely to pick up on too.

Hello all,
Is anyone using IS-OIL (OGSD) in ECC6.0? I have heard that the technology for posting data collation reports is no longer based on batch input technology but I couldn't find any information on it, neither in the release notes. Does anyone know whether this is true?

Still I am getting the same error. I am using IE 7.0 browser. In my service I have the following parameters in SE80 as well as in the SAP GUI Config in SICF.

I have published the complete service and it published successfully to INTERNAL site.
My custom service is active in SICF.
When I test the service, IE can not display the page.
Do we need to activate any other standard service?
Or Do we need to set some additional parameters to the service?
Do I need to make any special settings in the IE 7.0?

Dear SAP Friends,
one common suituation is observed while doing implimentation project that is Owner required One page Report through the SAP System same as he get through the other ERP System or in Excell formate.
Initially he is not ready to dropdown the screen & get the report.
Please tell is it realy true that we can not get one page report without ABAP'ers Help?
Report such as it shows consumption of oil,nut bolts,there cost & qty,time required to complete the operation,no of production order,tool change time,m/c ideal time etc.

I donot think std report will meet your requirement. Better develop a customized report with help of Abap`s.
How you enter tool change time, M/c idle time. Is PM module implemented. if yes take the data from PM Module.

Hi guys,
I've got a case where I am developing (converting) a report module from Oracle Reports. In this report module we've got one "master" table, and our reports have been developed using views of this table. The views are very similar, and basically we've got 4 types of reports having 6,12,14 or 24 columns each. However, some of them got different headings. The reports can be combined (sown together) into one long reportas long as they've got the same number of columns.
I have been trying to convert this using Jdeveloper, ADF and Toplink.
What would be the best approach to take, in terms of making this as dynamic as possible and without having to recompile each time we develop a new basic report (ei view).

I have kernel 720 patch level 600.
i have installed the language Italian , from SMLT it's finished correctly, the additional importfrom SMLT special action --> import sapport package it'is don correctly all support package are green.
But when i use the transaction XD02-XD03-FB02-FB03 ecc. all trancation with using the report SAPMF02D
do not have the tab strip label translated , all other field it's ok.
In the image attached , i have iserted a black circle for tabstrib label with problem.
Who can help me?I have installed all the lasts SP15 for ECC 6.0 EHP4 , the SMLT all ok , i have to execute from SMLT import patchechs it's all green , but i have ever the same problem , for transaction with using the report SAPMF02D ( XD02 , XD03 , ecc. )

Material weight and quantity report

Do you know if in standard SAP exists a report able to extract the material good movements and the material weight field to?
For example; something like the MB51 but with the weight field.

MatteoIn SAP standard, movement data is stored in base unit and unit of entry. In Oil&Gas solution, you have table MSEG2 with the movement store in every unit of measure defined for the material. If you have this industry solution, you can access that information.
If that's not your case:
You may create a Query or custom report (custom program) with a calculated field to translate the quantity to the desired UOM.
You can create an Info structure using LIS, where you update your key figures based on an update formula.
You should be aware that above solutions are very different in terms that the first one will perform conversion using current UOM translation data, and the second one, will use the conversion defined at the moment of the document update. This means that if you change your conversion factors during a period, this may have different influences.
Now, regarding the use of querys or custom reports, I have to say that querys are actually customs reports, dynamically defined using the query transaction. But once you generate it, an abap program is created. Sometimes, this type of generated programs have issues regarding performance, because this dynamic generation of the program, not always defines the better design for performance. As you might know, not every table is the same in terms of database access, and talking about material movements, I believe that the information to manage is quite large.
Anyway, its true that you don't require abap programmer if you use query tools, but you have to take into consideration your particular business case to define the best approach.

Roll Forward Inventory Reporting

We currently use Roll Forward reporting. However, due to an error a wrong yield was posted. This caused the Sales at average price to calculate inacurately. Hence the inventory dollars was also inaccurate. Since the Cost of Sales and Inventory dollars from the roll forward are tied to the Trial Balance accounts through IS OIL, my TB values were also wrong. How can I fix my inventory on the Roll Forward report to match the inventory on the Balance sheet?Sandesh,
Thanks for your help. Will the MR21 change the volumes?. Currently the inventory volumes on the Roll Forward is correct, however, because of the error, the moving average cost of sales dollars is wrong. This caused the inventory dollars to be inaccurate on the Roll Forward and the Trial Balance. I can increase the dollars on the RF and TB using MB1C and 961 using 1 gallon and any dollar value. But our inventory dollars is overstated on both the RF and TB and I cannot input a -ve dollars using MB1C.
Will the MR 21 allow me to manually decrease the inventory cost without affecting volume?

Itunes Library does not appear to be a valid music library
Ever since downloaded Itunes 5, deleted started again back with 4.9 I have had nothing but problems. All my tunes are stored on an external hard drive. I have just reloaded all my music and tidied it all up nicely and then when it went to update the

ZFS Reinstall and software packages
I had to reinstall ZFS on our distributor server. Do I have to recompile/redistribute the Software packags that I have created?

Error message when double-clicking icon to open document, won't open
My documents will not open when I double click their icon. They will open when dragged to the application icon or from the application itself. I get an error message if I try to open by double-clicking the icon. This is for In-Design, Photoshop, Illu
