Reports not selectable in LCM

When creating promotion jobs in the list of addable objects reports are not shown. I checked the authorization settings and could not find any false entries there (administrator is having full control). Even when checking the dependencies of an universe the reports are not show. Is it only a top-down dependency check? Is there something like a repository mapping necessary to get the WebIntelligence report selectable? Thanks for your hints.

I had the same issue with LCM XI 3.1, and now it's working fine after i had installed Sp2.
I believe remember that LCM 3.1 until Sp2, LCM have a issue with others languages than English.

Charm Reporting not selecting correctly

Hi everybody
I try to create a role for the people working with the transaction /tmwflow/reporting. The problem I encounter is that there is always a check for the standard transaction type "SDHF" when starting the report in the authorization trace - even when I select only "ZDHF" (our transaction type).
Instead of just ignoring the fact that the user does not have the rights for SDHF (but for ZDHF which is also shown in the authorization trace) the transaction stops with "You have no authorization to execute action Display".
Somebody here that has a clue?

Pages is unusable on my iPad Mini Retina.
For instance: I can double-tap select a word, and treble-tap a paragraph, then backspace to delete, but then mostly wait ten seconds before anything happens. I have timed it. For a simple selection, the contextual menu may not appear in that time, if at all. Forget dragging handles to select text - I will wait ten seconds after releasing it to find out where it went.
Occasionally the delay is 'only' three or four seconds, and once in a while even under one second. Response is never 'normal'.
This only affects Pages, and happens in even the smallest documents containing only a few hundred words of pasted plain text - no boxes or other elements - and which have been created on the iPad.
At a guess, Pages acts as if it is trying to backup 'undo' actions (or iterative versions of the document?) to the cloud, over my very slow (2G) connection. Someone in another thread suggests turning off wifi, so it could well be something like that. I have not tried that yet, as it rather defeats the purpose of using Pages at all.
I repeat - Pages is currently unusable on the iPad.

F.19 GRIR reclassification - Item not selected in the report log

There are two items (one cleared pair) which are not selected into GRIR reclassification (Tcode F.19), both posting date is on 30.05.2007, while wiht cleared date on 30.06.2007 (clearing document with posting date on 31.05.2007), why they are not counted in the reclassification report. pls advice, I really donot have any clue about it.

When executed FBCJ transaction click the "print cash journal" button then appears the following message "Print report REKORD 80 has not selected any data for correspondence SAP18"
What is the procedure for to fix error?

AS per my understanding, You want the report displays when you preview the report without selecting parameter values. If so, we can add default values for the parameter.
Default Values the same as Available Values. We can also specify some values as Default Values, but the Default Values should be included in the Available Values. For more details, please refer to

SSRS report not displaying data in correct order

Guys,
I have a SSRS 2012 report not displaying returned records from SQL in the correct order. Running the stored procedure in SSMS and supplying the parameter values returns the data correctly and running Query Designer in SSRS using the stored procedure
on the dataset in question, likewise returns the data correctly. Only when I run the actual report does the data display incorrectly(always last name order). I've done similar reporting using very similar stored procedures and I've never had this
problem. Below is the stored procedure. "@SortBy" is the parameter with the sorting value. 1=Due Date; 2=Denial Amt and 3=Last name and is passed by SSRS to SQL. Wish I could supply screen shots.

According to your description, when you render data in report, you find it always shows the data with unexpected order. Right?
In Reporting Services, if we don't set any sorting in tablix, it will order the data as your query in SSMS or Query Builder. In some scenario, for example, we add parent group for data rows, it will have the rows sort by the group on data field by default,
and the "order by" in your query will be ignored. So please check the Sorting tab in Tablix Properties, in this scenario, we suggest you delete any sorting in the Sorting tab so that the "Order By" clause can work.

Report Not working in the Web Browser

Hi ALL ,
Am working on a item SKU report . The report is running fine in the BIDS but once i try to view the report in the WEB Browser
tried both Mozilla and Internet Explorer no data is shows up .
The report has 2 report filter one is on the service and the other one is the item sku its a multi - parameter that contains
a list of more than 6000 different SKU . Can the filter be the reason for the report not displaying in the web browser.
If yes kindly advice me what the workaround for it .
I tried having the filter in the SQL main query but it was of no use no data it was showing after having the ssrs report filter
at least right information its showing but in the BIDS not in the main web browser.

According to the description, I understand that there are parameters (@SKU and @SKUlist) in the report, and SKUlist parameter is multi-value parameter. When selecting values of the SKU parameter, the parameter SKUlist will display corresponding values. In this
case, you should create cascading parameters, right? And you use parameters to filter the report.
Because the data of the report can be shown in the Business Intelligence Development Studio (BIDS) environment, the issue only occurs after deploying the report to report server. Based on my research, I think it may occur because of web browser issue. I have
known you use Mozilla and Internet Explorer to view the report but there is still no data.
In Reporting Services, not all report functionality is supported by all browsers. In this scenario, I suggest you considering the aspects of the setting or third party add-ons of Internet Explorer (IE). You can refer to the steps below:
1. Click Tools -> Internet options.
2. Switch to the Security tab, click Local intranet, and then select Default level.
3. Switch to the Advanced tab, and click Restore advanced settings.
4. Temporarily disable third party add-ons. For detailed steps, please see the link:

Report Not Refreshing in Crystal Reports Server 2008

I created a report and posted it on Crystal Reports Server 2008. I have since updated the report's selection expert and I want the new criteria to be updated. When I right click on the report and choose Refresh Options I have chosen to update and refresh the report but when I try to schedule it again it keeps the old select expert statement. I have gone back to the report to ensure the change was taken and it was. In fact if I delete the report and repost it then it does show the correct criteria. Does anyone have any idea's as to why this is happening. Thanks.

A simple solution to avoid the font issue: Draw a box on the report, and put an X in (on top of) the box to check it if value is true.
Or
A formula that is an X if true or F if false. Format the font to be white if not an X, and put a box around it.

Report not generating with blob

SO I was trying to create a report to insert an image. I saw and followed the following resource: http://blogs.oracle.com/xmlpublisher/2006/05/inserting_blobs_into_your_repo.html
In the template builder for MSWord, where I grab the XML data containing the Base64 code for the image, the output is all there. - so yes the actual query grabs the base 64 version of the image, as per http://sergekoganovitsch.wordpress.com/2009/05/02/blob-base64-encoding/
Now the situation is there is a temporary table that stores all the fields, and the image, along with the apex session_id. So the report query looks like this:

WHERE p.session_id = :APP_SESSIONSo.. first to make sure it was all working properly, I created another report query specifying a specific session id in the where clause that I know contains a photo - all works fine. However, when I apply the layout to the query above, and test it - it comes out containing no pages. Even if I test it when going through the application where there would be a valid session id, still no pages.
I have tried changing :APP_SESSION to v('APP_SESSION') and to_number(:APP_SESSION) to no avail.
If i remove the image bit, and just have the field as <?PHOTO?> , it outputs the base64 contents fine - but obviously, I want the actual image in the report, not the base64 code.
IF i open the pdf file in a text editor, I get the following:

It doesnt really make much sense to me, since when running it in the application there is a valid session id and it doesnt work. but if i explicitly specify the session id in the report query it does work.
Has anyone experienced said problem or can provide any useful guidance?

Unable to print, pages not selected.

I have reader XI and I get an error message saying unable to print pages not selected. the only things on the forum have been they same error with reader 9. I have tried all of those fixes with no luck. I have to open Acrobat with the Internet to print with is frustrating as I work with a proprietary software program that most of my reports come up in acrobat.
Please help.

S_ALR_87013543 report not showing line item correctly

Hi all,
The S_ALR_87013543 report or any other cost plan report not showing the line item report correctly.
eg When the S_ALR_87013543 report executed it showing 100 as a plan value against one of cost element when we double click and go to line item report it showing only one entry of 50 which is wrong.
when i checked the COSP table for the wbse with that cost element it has two entries with value type 1 and 29. value type 29 says value from sales order and 1 as plan .
My query is why S_ALR_87013543 report not showing the correct value or shall it not pick the value from value type 29.

Thanks for the updates but one more issue. In one case COSP has a one entry for value type=1 with Busniess transaction SDOR but it was not shown in line item report. it says " no line item were selected". inspite of entry in COSP.

when i checked the drill down report for line item it says no line item found.
Any idea what went wrong

In Drag and Drop layout I create two data pickers cause I need to choose information between Date_picker_1 and Datepicker_2. both of them correspond to DATE
In my region source in classic report I write something like this:
Select id, name where DATE between :Date_picker_1 and :Datepicker_2 then Ichoose the months but nothing happen.
I know that in the report interactive you can do that, but my boss doesnt' like interactive report (I dont know why) so my problem is in the Classic report.

Missing Function - Aging Report not match in System Currency in SBO 8.8

In mentioned patch level, the result/outstanding balance of Aging Report in System Currency was difference when selected 'Display Reconcilied Transactions' or not. The outstanding balance should be be same on both selection.

If the Aging Report cannot disppay the outstanding documetns for reconcile with customer, they cannot check with customers.

Generate the Aging report in System Currency
selected 'Display Reconcilied Transactions' including all transactions and balance is same as Trail Balance
un-selected 'Display Receoncilied Transactions' does not inclding the transactions that Local Currency is zero amount, but System Currency is not zero. The outstanding balance is different to the result of the above selection and Trail Balance as well.
Current Workaround: (Please describe the workarounds you are using at the moment)
Print the Aging Report with selected ' Display Reconcilied Transactions' to show ALL transactions to reconcile the transactions.
Proposed solution: (Please suggest how the new functionality should work)

Bapi's do not set sy-subrc. The only way to check if it was succesfull is to loop into the return table for error messages:
You have to use BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT after calling BAPI_PO_CREATE1:

Aging Report not displaying all BP's

Experts,
I have a client who recently upgraded to 8.8 PL 10. They found that when running the Customer Aging report they did not see all the customers in the list. Even customers with a balance.
I have looked into this and found some confusing results... I make sure that there is no selection on the Customer Codes or groups and that there is only one accounts receivable in the Control account selection (They only have one). With this selection I sometimes got all the customers and sometimes not. I could not determine a common factor.
Is this an issue with 8.8 PL 10?
Any help wold be appreciated.

Yes, I tried with the Display customers with zero balance selected. Then I could see all the customers.
But the specific customer that did not show up when this was not selected have a balance.

1. Normally, all reports are designed so that
if we do not enter any thing on screen, it will show all records.
2. Normally reports use SELECT OPTION and use IN for the query.
   This would take care if nothing is entered in select option.
Nothing entered in select option means all records.
3. If there is a parameter on the screen,
   it is usually made obligatory.
   Bcos if we do not enter anything in parameter,
    it may not give records.
   (Bcos for parameter = is used in query)
