Reports stay Pending in infoview

Hi
I am running BOJ on XIr2. Frequently I schedule a report, and this stays at Pending status in infoview without moving to Running. I have to restart the relevant deski servers, cancel the report, and reschedule, then it runs successfully. Does anyone know why this is happening?
To add to this, I also get the situation where the report says it is Running (i.e. status = Running), but it hangs, and doesn't do anything, doesn't move to Success status. I then delete and reschedule, and it runs successfully.

By default trace files are written to this location (for XI):
C:\Program Files\Business Objects\BusinessObjects Enterprise 12.0\Logging
(this is setup in placeholders I think)
Look for errors in files created by the server you have set tracing on.
For more details on tracing you can refer to the admin guide...

I required logic for mapping the report in Pending 103 for 105, If GR based IV is untick condition in PO.
Our business accept the material with movement type 103. After various tests (outside SAP), we post this document with movement type 105.
Normally each MIGO document has a reference document no . In case of 103 document, the reference docu no is the same no. In case of 105 document, the reference docu no is the docu no of 103.
It is noticed that for some 103 and 105 documents, the reference docu no is blank when GR based IV is not ticked in the Purchase order.
We need some logic to find the ref of 103 doc in 105 doc.

I have seen ME2M/ ME2L with selection parameter we104 or we105. However our client required specific report format for controlling this issue.
So I am trying for logic in this particular senarieo.

Report of Pending invoices

Hi Friends
Can you please tell me how to get a report of pending invoices for which GR s were done (also for partially done GR s).
This should be based on Purchase Org, Purch. group, vendor wise.
Standard reports MB5S and ME2N will not provide all the details.
The report should include the following:
Purch. Grooup
Vendor
Vendor Name
Purch.Doc.
Item
Mat. Document Number
DC Number
DC Date
mat Doc. Qty.
OUn
GR value
Quantit y invoiced
Invoice amount LC
Crcy

Yes. Standard reports will not give you inputs.
It's not easy to link material documents with invoice either.
If you are using GR based invoice verification, then fine.
Did you check MR11 ? However, you have to be careful not to do any postings here.
This will have PO, material document etc. But DC no--no;
Copy this report, remove posting related code and add code to get DC no etc from MKPF for the given material document.

Report for pending delivery

Hi Experts,
We have requirement, SAP report for pending delivery - to help customer reconcile on what is pending for deliveries.
I have used standard Tcode VL06 and VL06O but seeing all deliveries.
Kindly let me know how to configure a report or t code so that I should be able to see only pending delivery based on sales order.

If I understood your requirement correctly, you are sending the sales orders to the dispatcher, based on those sales orders dispatcher has to create the deliveries only for those items which are going to be shipped today (i.e. GI to be posted today) so that he can optimized the transporation etc.
For this requirement I think you can use VL04 transaction code and give input as shown in below screen shot. The inportant thing to note here is that, system selects only those line items from a sales order which has a GI date less than or equal to the date given in below screen.
i.e. if your sales order has a 2 line items
Line item 1 has GI date = 19.08.2014
Line item 2 has GI date = 22.08.2014
then as per below input i.e. GI date = 22.08.014 system will create a delivery for both the line items
If you give GI date = 19.08.2014 in below selection screen then system will create a delivery only for line item 1. Please try and let me know

Not able to save deski report as PDF through infoview

Hi,
when I try to save a deski report as PDF through infoview error appears as:
Your request could not be completed because a failure occurred while the report was being processed. Please contact business administrator.[RCIRAS0546] (Error: INF)
we are using BOXI 3.1/ SP2.
Please let me know the possible solution for this.

Have a back door way to fix the problem...
We were having the same issue with DeskI documents while upgrading from XIR2 to XIR3.
It's tied to documents that are set to Refresh on open
If you import the report, set it to "not" refresh then publish it, test it and it should run fine. Once you get it working correctly you can republish the report again and turn the "Refresh on Open" back on.
It should work fine from that point on.

Passport messages stay pending

I have a constant problem with my Passport that my messages, Bbm, whatsapp etc stay pending and does not go through. I have to swith the network to something else, 3g or 4g, or wifi, to get the message out. It stays pending until there is a switch in signal or by switching data on and off. Its driving me crazy. The same with receiving. I don't know what to do, i've tried everything.

I tend to agree with Ira on this, there could be an updated OS with an updated radio file, but the issue could remain with a weak signal.
So, to be clear, there is no possibility of wifi at work?

Crystal report server2008 (XI R2): InfoView Request timeout error
            Some reports which are taking more than 10 to 15 minutess while running through InfoView gives error as follows:
An error has occured: Request timed out.
This error appears within the crystal report server and when user tries to access through browser client desktop also. Sometimes it prompts the error as follows when users try to access through browsers from there desk i.e through proxy connection.
   The proxy server received an invalid response from an upstream server.
   The proxy serer could not handle the request POST/report/CrystalReports/Viewrpt.aspx.
    Reason: Error reading from remote server
The timeout setting of all web.config files under infoviewapp, infoviewappactions, platform services, crystal reports folders have been checked and the default timeout 20 minutes is changed to 30 minutes and IIS is restarted, but still users are getting request timeout error within 10 to 15 minutes while running a crystal report. Even admin user.

RFC 0010 when FC report is refreshed in Infoview having prompts.

Hi,
I have a FC report based on prompts. When I refresh in FC it works fine. The same report when refreshed in Infoview it throws the above error: No server was able to process the request. contact your administrator. RFC 00101.
I have changed the timeout settings but found no use.
Any insights on this is greatly appriciated.

Have you applied any service pack for BOXIR2?
Which reports are these WebI,DeskI, or Crystal Reports?
Which InfoView do you have .net or java?
Is the issue is viewer specific?
Is the issue is with all the report or single report?

Dear experts,
All the opened reports stay in the tempfile on our server. when there are 75 files opened I get the error "Load report failed".
When I search on the net everyone suggests to use ReportDocument.Close() and ReportDocument.Dispose() on the event Page_Unload().
This doesn't work at all, all the files stay in my temp file if I close my page, close my brower or navigate to another page.
Before the report is printed, the file is 3 times loaded which uses a lot of memory from our webserver.
The file is loaded a first time when it's displayed on the screen. A second time when I click the print icon and a third time when the pdf file opens in my browser.
So in fact, I can only open and print 25 reports and then I get the error u201CLoad report failedu201D. The only thing I can do then is restart the website in IIS.
What is the good solution to prevent those files in c:\Temp?

They should get cleaned up intermittently without you having to do anything.
They are not causing your load report failed error though.
You are most likely reaching the print job limit, which is set to 75 by default.
Not knowing which version of CR you are using, just look for PrintJobLimit in the registry.
It will be in the CrystalDecisions or Business Object section and be set to 75. Increase it to 300-500 and give it a shot.

Reports stay in a pending state

Hi all, I'm hoping to find a little bit of help in regards to an issue I'm having on a Crystal Reports XI R2 server. When reports are scheduled now they stay in a "pending" state and don't run correctly. I've verified that all the servers (they're all on one physical machine) are started and have rebooted, too.
I get a couple of errors in the event viewer:

I've setup a trace but didn't see anything that stood out as an issue, although I certainly could have missed something. Any hints on steps I could take to get the reports publishing again?

well if you need help right away you should open a message with support and get an engineer assigned. I don't normally work on reporting issues so not much help I'm afraid.
You said the servers are started but are they also enabled in CMC? CCM?
The issue could be from the CMS or job server, did you trace both? The CMS is responsible for sending the job to the job server (at which time it should go from pending to running).

Report for Pending Leave requests

We are trying to use existing transaction codes which would give details of all ess leave requests submitted by employees in the portal during a certain timeframe and which are still pending action by managers (whether to reject or accept).
The R3 report needs to include the following information:
Leave Requestor - Name / ID
Type of Leave Request
Date Submitted in ESS
From date of Leave
To Date of Leave
No. Hours of Leave
Current Status of Leave Request
Leave Approver - Name /ID
Can anyone suggest if there is any Tcode ( apart from SWIA, SWI5, SWI6 etc..) which could be helpful to get information on whose side the action is pending.

you can use Tcode se38for running this report .
Or else give a Tcode - PTARQ
It gives you the total functionalities of Leave Requests.
Its the sap standard interface provided to test the functionalities in R/3 side .

Hi,
1.Goto MB5S.Execute the report.
2.Then select current display variant, a screen will be dispalyed in this select position.It will show the column cotent
3.Select the input u require and transfer them to the left side byclicking the < .U fields will be transferred.
4.Then click on copy
5.Then go to settings at the top,then sElect layout then save.
6.Give the layuot name & save, & come out of the screen.
7.Now again goto MB5S ,in the bottom select ur lay out and execute u will get the report based on the layout created by use.
Date range not possible.
