  • Error while transporting req

    Hi,
I have this strange problem. I have added some transformation , DTP , infopackage and routines to existing data flow.
I have put them in a single request and tried to transport them to quality server.
Now I am getting error while moving it to the quality.
The error log says that one of the transformation has error in start routine. Where is that transformation doesn't exist in the system, not in active as well as inactive mode. I have checked in RSA1 as well as table 'RSTRAN'.
Same problem with some of the DTPs as well. They are in error and they doesn't exist in the system( table RSBKDTP).
Kindly help. Am I missing something.
    Regards
    Vivek

    Hi,
I have narrowed the problem. I had 4 transformation in that req, Now I have separate req for each transformation. Out of 4 req 3 has been transported successfully. Now I am having trouble with a single transformation and cause of the error is piece of code in include which I am using in a start routines.
    LOOP AT source_package INTO ls_sourcepackage.
      ls_i_mat-fpc = ls_sourcepackage-/BIC/dpmat.  >> If I comment this line req get transported.
      APPEND ls_i_mat TO i_mat.
    ENDLOOP.
/BIC/dpmat is fiield in the structure of source package.
I am confuse why its giving trouble. The above transformation is from DataSource to Cube.

  • Error while creating Billing doc using VF01 for Debit memo req. from RRB

    Hi,
I am creating billing doc for my Debit memo req. which is created using RRB(DP90, DP95).
Error message - Item 000010 does not exist.
When I debugged and looked into code it seems following lines are causing problem.
    Program
    LV60AA28
    Line u2013 734
      IF  vbap-vkgru EQ vkgru_dyn_posten.
        IF vbap-aufnr IS INITIAL .

          vbrp-aupos = vbap-vgpos.
          vbrp-autyp = vbap-vgtyp.
This code was not in 4.6 system.
We have just migrating from 4.6 to 6.0 and facing this issue while testing.

First of all you should try to learn how to express in a public forum like this.
    On your comments
Do some ground work from your end
why should I ??  if you want you can do ground work or any work.  If you post a question, you have to hear patiently all suggestions and dont scribble whatever you want.
    You should have some basic
       understanding of SAP ABAP.
You should have posted this question ABAP forum !!!!   Why without any sense you have posted in sales forum ??

  • Material and Service in a Single Line Req

    Hi
We hv a requirement of material and service in a single line item, Exampls is client ordering some fabrication work to one vendor. It involves both matl and service changre.
For the matl cost we need to calculate VAT and for the service charge we need to calculate service tax.
For ex 1000 is the total amt for a line item. In this 600 to be calaulated for VAT 4% and for balance 400 to be calculated as serv tax 12.5%.
The same is happening in sales and they can be do this. How tro do the same in MM purchasing.
    Vijay

    Hi
Can it be possible to make a PO only one line item. Say item 10 thats only one item. That line 10 have both matl and service.
Both matl tax and service tax need to be calculated for the line item 10.
    Is this possible.
Client dont req these as 2 line items. Here the scenarion and req is like that.

  • How to Change attachment URL on a Purchase Req?

Attachments in the EBP shopping carts are transferred to an ITS server and are linked to a back end R/3 Purchase Requisition.
Note that the attachments are physically stored on ITS server and the link (URL) to the attachment and Purchase Req is stored in SAP.
As a part of decommissioning, the server which was used for storing attachments is replaced with a new server and all the attachments are moved to new server.
Since the link associated to the Purchase Req and attachment is not changed, when user is trying to open the Purchase Req attachment, it is not displaying becuase all the attachments are moved to new server.
How to change the link (URL) in the Purchase Req so that it will point out to the new server instead of old server.
Due to the following reasons manually changing the URL is not advisable.
    1) 40,000 attachments link need to be changed.
    2) System is not allowing to change the URL manually because of the user differences.  All the attachment links are attached to Purchase Reqs by RFC user (since these are transferred from EBP environment).
Please advise what should be the feasible solution to change the URL (link) on the Purchase Req so that business can open the attachment with no issues.
    Thanks in advance

According to SAP, since purchase order is a legal document they do not support the process of changing document number.  They suggested I do the change with debug and replace at my own risk.  In ME22N go to debug and type MEPO_TOPLINE-BEDAT.  The values for this field show up as 29991231 that should be changed to 20191231 and press F8, then save the purchase order.

  • [ANN] XINS 2.1 open source Web Services framework release

XINS 2.1 Web Services Framework has been released.
XINS is an open source Web Services Framework based on simple specifications of the Web Service in XML and
generation of code and documentation from the specification.
The generation includes Client JAR with its Javadoc, Server side template with its Javadoc, documentation in OpenDocument Format,
documentation in HTML including the test forms, WSDL file, unit tests (JUnit) and stubs.
The Web Services accept several protocols including REST, SOAP, XML-RPC, XML, JSON Yahoo! and JSON-RPC.
    What's new:
    * Start the API with java -jar <api name>.war
    * Improved generated specification in OpenDocument Format
    * Include/exclude calling convention with ACLs
    * New calling convention that maps SOAP request and response as the wsdl2api command mapping.
    * Smaller generated build.xml
    * Added possibility to include other runtime properties files
    * The runtime property location can be a URL
    * Swing Graphical User Interface
    * New tools: emma, glean, webstart
    * New target: javadoc-test-<api name>, javadoc-apis
    * Bug fixes and small RFEs
    Download XINS 2.1:

    Documentation: http://xins.sourceforge.net/documentation.html
    User guide: http://xins.sourceforge.net/docs/index.html

I recommend you implement your web service with JAX-WS 2.0
Axis (both version) are good but why do you want to use something that is not included in JEE API, when Java provide same thing with better performance.
personally try to prevent non standard technologies despite they can be better than core java implementation sometimes.
    I don't know Xfire.
    the good:
-JAX-WS performance is better than axis,
    - you can create your web service simply with annotation.(this means write class and then make it as a service easily)
    - support every kind of service invocation(callback,Asynchronous,...)
    - architecture is nice (you can operate on SOAP level)
    the Bad:
    - It is JEE 5 or JSE 6 dependent.
    - there is seriously lack of documentation and examples for it, on java web sites and internet.

  • Purchase Req and PO questions in 11i

    Hi,
I have few questions on Purchasing module, can any one plase provide your inputs, any help is highly apporeciated. i am using 11i
    1. When we Auto create PO from a Req, The “Ship To” field does not automatically populate from the REQ. How can we Auto populate Shipt to of a REQ line shipt to PO? Is it Possible?
    2. Oracle allows Requestors to submit a REQ for a supplier that is on Hold. Can We make tohave it not allow the REQ to be submitted and provide an error message?.
    3. Oracle allows REQ’s to be submitted when missing required information such as “Ship To” and “Supplier Site” as these are not mandatory fields. How can we make these feilds mandatory under REQ screen?can we achieve through Form personalization?.
    4. Inorder to Place a supplier on Payment Hold requires checking boxes on the main supplier setup and then on each site setup. Is there any way to we can do one step actions in the main supplier setup affect all existing and subsequent sites.
    Thanks
    Edited by: 890852 on Mar 6, 2012 7:18 AM

Thanks Sandeep for your inputs. I want to clarify further, please let me know if you could. I appreciate your help.
    1. The shipto on the PO shipment defaults from the Requisition. However, the shipto on the PO header remains blank. The buyer has to fill it in manually.
This is correct, can we display what ever displayed under "shipto on the PO shipment" to "shipto on the PO header" , is it achieved only through Form personalization.
    4. The payment hold box on supplier screen is used to default the same box when CREATING a new supplier site. Unless you write a customization, I don't know of any way to set the box on all sites when it is checked on the supplier screen.
If we check the "Hold all Payments" under Supplier form, it is not automatically defaulting under sites, but is it required to go manually each site and check the "Hold all Payments"?, I think once we check the "Hold all Payments" under Supplier form it would logically apply for all of its sites as well right, though we dont check under sites?
    Thanks

  • [SOLVED] startx and xinit fail on eeepc901 (possibly after upgrade)

    Dear all,
    Can't get X to start.
After a system upgrade (was a messy one, I'm pretty sure this is not a bug) I must have deleted some very important file for X. The fact is that it has stopped working, startx fails, xinit fail, even Xorg -configure fails. Please also note that I've changed the kernel (from zeneee to stock) but I had the same behavior with the previous kernel.
    Possibly interesting outputs:
    $xinit
    giving up.
xinit: No such file or directory (errno 2): unable to connect to X server
xinit: No such process (errno 3): Server error.
    $startx
xauth: creating new authority file /home/mgp/.serverauth.4397
    giving up.
xinit: No such file or directory (errno 2): unable to connect to X server
xinit: No such process (errno 3): Server error.
It does create the authority file. Fails after that.
    #Xorg -configure
    Segmentation fault
My xorg.conf file is as follows (although I have tried without one and have the same errors, so probably not related):

I've searched over for a solution but can't really find anything relevant. I've tried installing xorg a few times. Also hal and all that stuff but I don't trust myself too much on that. I don't know how to proceed any further and would appreciate any help possible or any ideas you think I could try. I'm pretty sure it's something quite stupid. Thanks for your time and consideration.
    Best regards,

    Hi all,
I fixed it. By looking closely at the strace I figured that for some reason X couldn't access my /tmp. I remember setting my /tmp directories in fstab to mount on tmpfs so I figured that wasn't working anymore. I removed my tmp entries in fstab (will have to refigure that one out). Something changed with the devices. Maybe I wasn't using udev before or something as it also has problems mounting devices it previously mounted on boot. However all this happened before I changed kernel. Dunno, anyway, it works although I have to fix a bunch of small things that still don't work. Lesson would be update often (hadn't done so in a year) and keep in touch with what is going on in the community (eee instructions have changed a lot -and become slightly more confusing-). Anyway, thanks for your help, specially Rasi.
    Best regards,
    Michael

  • Schedule Line Cat and Passing of Reqs:  Credit Hold Situation

Business need is for orders that are on credit hold to not pass requirements to create a purchase req. after MRP is executed. I realize that this can be controlled by the Schedule Line Category. So, I would have schedule line category of “XX” on the sales order line. Is there a way for the schedule line category to be changed to a different value (which will allow the passing of requirements to MRP) after the order is released from Credit Hold? How do we get the schedule line category to change on the sales order once the order is removed from credit hold? Can this be accomplished through standard configuration?

    Hi Tom,
You can use the reason for rejection at the item level.
But for this you have to maintain somne configuration.Goto sprosd-sales-sales document item--define reson for rejection.
Here for a particular reason for rejection just put tick under blc column.
This means the order doesn't require billing.
Now put the same reason for rejection in your item level. The status of the order would change from open to completed.
Completed status means that there are no requirements left for this order.
There will be no requirements in MD04 as well.
When you want to process the order again just remove the reson for rejection and proceed.
But there is one problem with this solution. In future if you want to find this order in VA05 ,it will not appear because the status is completed. It would be difficult to find the orders where you put the reason for rejection.
The only way to find those orders is thru tables.
Goto SE16 and table VBAP .field is ABGRU.
In the selectio screen of VBAP put ABGRU and you will get all the orders.
    Reward points if it helps

  • Converting Multipule Reqs to a Purchase Order with Delivery Schedule Lines

Is it possible to convert a multiple Purchase Reqs for the same items to a PO that has one line but multipule deliver dates in the Schedule lines - Where the Purchase Reqs have been generated by MRP
    Example
I have an SAP Contract 46***** that runs via MRP and creates 3 Reqs for item number 12345. All from the same vendor
                 Req 1 delivery date 2/4/10  QTY 50
                 Req 2 delivery date 6/4/10  QTY 20
                 Req 3 delivery date 10/4/10 QTY 30
Aim is to have 1 PO with line 1 having a QTY 100 but the Delivery Schedule Tab to show the three seperate delivery needs
                date 2/4/10  QTY 50
                date 6/4/10  QTY 20
                date 10/4/10 QTY 30
    Any Help?

When i try that the QTY in line one does not alwasy update to the total qty of the reqs and infact the qty on the req doesnt always appear in the schedule line....
This works for me perfect, I never encountred that the item quantity was not updated if I added a new requisition to the schedule.
ME59N should work, do not select per requistion and per delviery date in the New PO section in the selection screen. But set a flag into box create schedules.

  • Goods recipient field not available when creating a service purchase req

We are trying to create a release strategy for purchase requisitions with acount assignments K, F and P.  The release strategy would use the requisitioner and goods recipient fields to determine the release group.  The issue is when creating a purchase req with item category D for any account assignment, the recipient field cannot be populated.  It is greyed out.  I tried setting the field as mandatory in the IMG at the account assignment level but it doesn't prompt me for a recipient if item category D is entered.  Is there a way to allow this field to be populated?  I don't care if the value is transferred to the purchase order but I need it populated to determine the appropriate release strategy.  We are not using workflow so that is not an option.  Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Srinivas, I appreciate the response but the requisitioner field is not the problem.  I can set that field to mandatory.  The issue is I cannot populate the recipient field that's located on the account assignment tab of the purchase req.  The recipient field can be populated if the item category field is blank but as soon as I populate the item category with D for service, the recipient field is unavailable.  Is there a way to populate this field when the item category is D?

  • Tables or FM needed to get purc req for a sales order

    hi
when you go to the /sapapo/rrp3 transaction ( product view ) in SCM system you will get lot of views for a given product and location like elements, periods, pegging overview etc.,. . In the pegging overview for example we have recpt element and reqmt element colums which contain the sales order number and purchase req number. I want to know the database tables names where i can get this information. basically i want to what are purchsae reqs or purchase orders linked to a given sales order or material.
    thanks

You can go to SE11 and see all field of table /SAPAPO/MM_DOC and their description.
It will tell you details of GUID.
Than you have to go to individual table and read actual product from GUID.
    like MATKEY for Material GUID.
/SAPAPO/ORDER_GUID     CHAR     22     0     GUID of an Order Object
/SAPAPO/LOCID     CHAR     22     0     Internal Location Number (Customer, Supplier, or Plant)
/SAPAPO/MATID     CHAR     22     0     Internal Number (UID) for Product
