Request: add option to switch off HTML by default

This forum has a lot of advantages over the old system, but also some annoying things... One thing I would like to see added is the option to have new messages (or replies) automatically open in the simplified editor, and not the full HTML one. I don't need most of those options 99% of the time, and loading them is just annoying. Cheers...

When you select the HTML screen, look over to the left above the window. There should be a link to set it to always use that screen.

Feature Request: Add option to not have artboard name saved with file name

Please give us an option to turn off the artboard name being appended to the filename. I work in an environment where I have to do a lot of versions and very specific filenames that are given to authors. I like using artboards, but currently, the artboard name is appended to the exported file name and I have to change the file name each time to make it useable to me. I would greatly appreciate the option to turn this off. It creates a lot of unncessary work for me.

Dear Reader,
recently I installed Firefox 21 (Win XP SP3 x86). I realized that a flash video (shockwave flash plugin 11.7.700.202) can be started even if the flash plugin was disabled. Please check the thwo links:

The second one opens the player and the video can be started. I checked all the options I found in the GUI, but there is no additional switch to gain total control over the plugin.
Sometimes I need to view flash videos. Thats why I do not want to deinstall the plugin. Therefore I installed the add on QuickJava. I thought I can disable it comfortable with QuckJava. But obviously I can't. Because there are often discovered severe security issues in the flash player, I think this is an indirect severe security hole in FF.
What can I do to get (comfortable) control over it? (If other Players or automatically started EXEs exist in a similar manner, please tell me to control them, too.)

1) do as suggested above and contact Customer Care to see if you can switch over before the end of the original subscription.
2) If you are close to the end of that original subscription period wait for it to end, Do Not Renew and then sign up for the newer lower cost PS CC + LR subscription.

What troubleshooting steps have you tried so far?
Basic Troubleshooting Steps when all else fails
- Quit the App by opening multi-tasking bar, and swiping the App upward to make it disappear. (For iOS 6, holding down the icon for the App for about 3-5 seconds, and then tap the red circle with the white minus sign.)
- Relaunch the App and try again.
- Restart the device. http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1430
- Reset the device. (Same article as above.)
- Reset All Settings (Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings)
- Restore from backup. http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1766 (If you don't have a backup, make one now, then skip to the next step.)
- Restore as new device. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4137 For this step, do not re-download ANYTHING, and do not sign into your Apple ID.
- Test the issue after each step. If the last one does not resolve the issue, it is likely a hardware problem.

ITunes Match is syncing my music library using 3G but I have the option switched off.

I have found a problem syncing my music using iTunes Match and my iPhone has used 2GB of my data plan in a day. The steps to reproduce the problem are:
Precondition: iPhone is using iTunes Match and has a list a few songs in the cloud without syncing.
Steps:
Switch on 3G connections in the settings. (Settings > General > Mobile data > Mobile data & 3G ON)
Start syncing a list of music.
Switch off the option to use data plan to sync music (Settings > Music > Use data plan > OFF)
Result: iPhone continues downloading all the songs of the list using my data plan.
Expected result: iPhone stops syncing the music because there is only a 3G connection and the option is switched off.
This is why I would like to make a complaint to Apple. How can I do it?

Everything that is on your device should be in your library too. If that is not the case then see Recover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device. See also Backup your iTunes for Windows library with SyncToy.
Once you have secured your content you can work on resolving the sync issue.
When the media on the device won't update as expected during a sync the method that usually works is this:
Export the contents of the camera roll. (You should do this routinely anyway.)
Backup the device, unless you have a recent backup that you would prefer to restore.
Restore as a new device. (The general restore process doesn't seem to clear things out before reloading, so there can be issues with missing artwork or incorrect capacity calculations.)
Restore the chosen backup.
In some cases it might pay to use the recovery mode method given in HT201263: If you can't update or restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch at step 3 to ensure that a device has been completely reset before reloading your content.

Well.... I don't want to hide the values. It is the other way around .... the values should be on all rows displayed and not "grouped". In a BW query it is called suppress key display with same value and you can switch it on and off.

Switch off default selection in partners pop up

Hi Experts,
In case of one sold to, multiple ship to, system gives a pop up with list of ship to parties. But by default selecting the first ship to, with tick mark. Is there any possibility to switch off the system default selection in partner functions pop up.

If you do not want a pop-up to come up everytime you create a sales order then you can simply delete all the ship to party's from the customer master, once you delete all the ship to party's in customer master you can manually select your desired ship to party at the sales order level only. This is the best solution without disturbing the standard configuration. Hope im clear with your query. Either of the two you can use, both the functionalities cannot be used simultaneously, if you want to use both these then you may have to design a user exit.

Outlook 2010 Exchange 2010 Read Receipt Request for all emails cannot be switched OFF.

I have a strange situation with an Outlook 2010 client using Exchange 2010. The user has Outlook configured so that Under Options/Mail/Tracking - that "Read receipt confirming the recipient has viewed the message" is turned off. Yet everytime she
sends a message, the option to request pops up on the recipient's outlook.
I have tried to toggle the option on and off to no avail. I can switch the Delivery Receipt request on and off and it is no issue.
Can anyone tell me what attribute in ADSIEdit or Exchange is that seems to be stuck ON?

I believe you would like to block this only for the user and not for your ORG... ??
Although, you can block this for your entire ORG.
what happens is that the Read receipt contains a "Disposition-Notification-To"
If we get rid of this header we can restrict the receiver to get that prompt.
we can create a Transport rule either for the entire org or for that specific user by making an adjustment in the "exception tab"

I am a very new customer of yours, have bought a iPhone 5s on 25th Dec '13, but unfortunately someone stolen my phone in a MELA in my city. I immediately call my iphone but getting it switch off, as the thief had put the phone in switch off mode. I search it in iCloud with find my iphone apps but getting offline till date. I use pass code & finger print protection that's why probably it can't be use by the thief, but it can be sell as spare parts by opening up its parts . I had do all legal formalities & inform my carrier to lock my sim. Recently I again bought a new iPhone 4s 8GB from amazon.com & using it now.
It is the time to welcoming new iphone probably iphone 6/iphone air in this fall. I have plan to buy it & a apple laptop but first iphone 6 followed by iwatch if you launch & than laptop.
Now coming to the main point why I have written this mail let's explain it - I think you should put a switch off protection in this new device so that someone can't put the phone in switch off mode except the owner, at-least phone can be track till the battery last if someone stollen it. Because I know the problem & pain when someone lose a smart phone with all personal details. So please consider this in your new device as a new feature.

As for your suggestion, as much as I can understand what you are requesting, if the device is turned off, it is off. There isn't anything Apple or your carrier can do about that. Having a device that is OFF continue to send a signal suggest all sorts of privacy and battery management issues.

Switch Off Right Click Options in Webdynpro table

Hi all,
Can we switch off the right-click options that show up when a user is displaying a webdynpro abap table?
I dont want users to be able to hide columns. There does not, however, seem to be a setting which controls this - it seems to be always on???

This fixes the problem. Again this was an SP11 thing (the system I am on is SP10 and didnt have this parameter), but OSS note 990724 provides this functionality.
The trick with all users being affected was just me being stupid. The application I have developed is a password reset tool for people who have forgotten their passwords (connected to CUA so you can fix passwords on all systems) so of course I didnt want them to have to log in (it uses Active Directory for user authentication, not SAP security). So I connect them via an external alias with a fixed username and password - which means one technical user for all people accessing the application. So if one person changes it, they change it for all...
Switching off personalisation does the job, however, thanks a lot. Next time I will look on my SP11 system for parameters before asking questions.
