Request batch process until all data has been updated to BW

Hai Experts,
This is the check box available in the info package scheduing screen
in the schedule tab.
Why this check box is used.Can any body explain the need of this one.

If you schedule an InfoPackage later in the batch, you can specify that the background job for the request runs as long. That means it is active until all data is posted in BW.
For example, this gives external scheduling tools the option of monitoring the request job. The job then runs with a request from an SAP source system as long as the source system has sent the data to the BW system and has posted this or until the monitor sets the request to red. In the job log, a success or error message is displayed, depending on whether the request was successful or had error

Hi Kolli,
Do you have the further update from PSA process in your process chain? You will need this if the InfoPackage has the 3rd option on the Processing tab (PSA and then to data targets).

This is my boilerplate response when app downloads are stalled or in the "waiting" mode. There are a bunch of things here to try.
Tap on the "installing" icon and see if you can pause the install, then tap on it again in order to resume the install.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
Make sure that you do not have a stalled download in iTunes - a song or podcast .... if you have a download in there that did not finish, complete that one first. Only one thing can download and install at a time on the iPad so that could be what is causing the problem.
If that doesn't work - sign out of your account, restart the iPad and then sign in again.
Settings>iTunes & App Store>Apple ID. Tap your ID and sign out. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Go back to Settings>iTunes & App Store>Sign in and see if the install resumes.
If all else fails, download the updates or the apps in iTunes on your computer and then sync the content to your iPad.

This is the backup of VSS which is sending this alert every morning.

The error is coming only on Node A...

FIFA13, Since updating to IOS8, all cloud data has been "lost" and saved games are no longer available.

FIFA13. Since updating to IOS8 all previously saved iCloud data has been lost and I am unable to restore previously saved games. Also when saving new games they cannot be restored from iCloud. I have reinstalled ISO8 and FIFA13 but this does not fix the issue.

Same problem here. No saved files, saving is not possible and or doesn't work. iCloud is useless in this case.
I see it as an EA issue. The way they work is disabling certain feature to push users towards new versions of the game.
Money is everything, they don't care about their users and this problem will never be fixed, such a shame!

Wait until the session has been processed

Hi folks,
I have a report in which I create and trigger an SM35 session. I use RSBDCSUB report to do the same.
Now, is there anyway to wait until the session has been processed? I mean, I need to do a few things in the report only after the session has been processed.

Hi,
You could try checking the job status (table TBTCO) inside a DO or WHILE loop. To pause up to 5 seconds between your lookup on TBTCO, you can call function module 'RZL_SLEEP'.
If checking TBTCO does not work out for you, you can try the same loop logic with a call to function module 'ENQUEUE_BDC_QID' instead of looking up the job status. If the enqueue has been released then the job has finished.

Lord K. Thank you. Yes I am within the 90 time period, however I travel Intertionally and I can not receive not make a call to Apple. I was just at the Genius Bar in Chicago and they said, don't worry about it. It just floats out there, however, I can not recover my messages on a flash drive. I need to go back to my old computer which I don't have with me. My messages were in folders for a lawsuit. It is going to take an incredible amount of work for me to, you have no Idea. We are talking thousands of pages! I the defendent will have them during discovery so I am not so worried. However, I can not bring them to him on a Flashdrive when I meet with him without an extraordinary amount of presssure on my part. THis is not just some little email issue. This is suing EXPEDIA and Tripadviosr.com

I;m having so itunes match issues.
I ran itunes match. I';ve since foumd, I think:
a) if incorrect genre etc data has been uploaded to icloud, I cannot find how to delete it and reupload correct song and data. I am presently assuming that once songs are matched, the meta-data, genre, etc etc thats uploaded is now treated as 'the master' by itunes.
Question: if I want to change the genre on a track, whats the correct way to overwrite the data held in the icloud? if I delete the track i just bring down the old incorrect genres again!
b) I've deleted from the icloud all my music tracks (select all, delete, Y to delete tracks from icloud). I have turned off itunes match on my ipad, iphone, appletv mac and windows pc. I've deleted the itunes library files too from mac and pc in desperation. But hours /days later, when I turn on itunes match on mac or pc, it tells me i still have 9k tracks in icloud. All with the old, wrong meta-data ready to mess up my [now-corrected] files back on my pc!
I cannot delete them no matter what I do. The number of tracks in the cloud was 12k, now 9k so its reducing, by about 1500 tracks a day.
does it really take itunes servers that long to delete the tracks I've asked it to delete, or am i seeing garbage data?
is there a quicker way of deleting all my itunes match library, songs and data?

My original intention was to 'upgrade' some of my tracks. In those cases, I'd iTunes matched, and the process was completed.
I later downloaded those new tracks but found during that process, the tracks I was downloading had the old metadata.
I guess the idea there is to update the local genres, 'update iTunes match' and wait. How long, I don't know but that's the current solution,yes ?
Thing is I was trying to get my local library updated and, as I thought it, back in order, but was finding my local genre updates were being overwritten. I had a lot of tracks that kept on stating they could be downloaded so I thought the new files hadn't been copied down...
I think I was trying to get match to do too many things at once.
Deleting my tracks in the cloud? Was an act of desperation to start over with all known good genres locally and to re- upload, start over. I'd read in some forum or other to do that, I guess that was wrong,
Ok so I will.. Err,
A wait and see how long it takes to delete my tracks in the cloud ie let it complete the process I'd already started.
B Correct my local tracks genres
C Wait til those changes propagate up to the iCloud ( or whatever the right term is)
Q1: How long should I wait for A and C to complete?
Q2: Is it 100% definite that local genre changes will get copied up to the cloud, when I 'update iTunes match'?
I don't see any animated cloud icon, but I will watch for it!

How can I delay my MBP from hibernating until the lid has been closed for a set period of time?

After extensive research, I have been unable to solve this problem and I'm hoping someone can explain this to me.   Everytime I close the lid on my 13-inch, Early 2011 Macbook Pro, it immediately starts to write to disk (solid light on the front) for several seconds until it finally goes into Hibernate mode (flashing light on the front). The problem is, I frequently close the lid, then immediately reopen it within 15-30 seconds to resume typing or to add something I may have forgotten.   Each time I reopen the lid before the light has started flashing, the MBP wakes for a moment, and allows me to resume typing. However, the Hibernation process has already begun and within 30 seconds, the screen goes blank.   I have to wake it AGAIN, which is very annoying.
Based on my research, I could use pmset to change the hibernatemode to 0 (it is currently set at 3).   However, I dont wish to disable hibernate mode completely; I DO want it to save a hibernation image to disk if it happens to run out of battery, so that when I resume I havent lost anything.
I then researched using standby and standbydelay to attempt a delay of the write to disk when going into standby mode.   According to the pmset manual:
standby causes kernel power management to automatically hibernate a machine after it has slept for a
     specified time period. This saves power while asleep
standbydelay specifies the delay, in seconds, before writing the hibernation image to disk and powering
     off memory for Standby
I then set these values as below, expecting the laptop to wait 4200 seconds (70 minutes) before trying to write to disk when I close the lid:
standbydelay         4200
standby              1
Unfortunately, that did not work either.   If I close the lid, the light glows solid immediately (indicating it is writing to disk), and if I try to reopen the lid before it is done, it will wake and seem fine, then 30 seconds later it goes blank right in the middle of me typing something.   I usually have to click the mouse several times, or even the power button to re-wake it.
I do have InsomniaX installed, for when I want to close the lid and keep the machine awake permanently (while watching videos on airplay) and I have tried quitting that application to test this. However, when I close/reopen the lid..the result is the same.   I cant keep InsomniaX enabled all the time, because it will never go to sleep when I truly want it to.   If I am not using InsomniaX, I just want to delay hibernation until he lid has been closed for a set period (say 15 minutes or more). If I have not reopened the lid within that time, I want it to write to disk and go into hibernation mode. And if the battery runs all the way out, I want it to go into hibernation mode before shutting down so I can recover.
I would appreciate any help in solving this problem. Also any insight as to why the standbydelay setting above did not work.   Thanks!

Whats with the MBP lid? Dont close it ... if you're so concerned! Just go to System Preferences/Energy Saver and set it to how you like it.

How to suppress a property being output to a label once a date has been reached

I would like to suppress a property being output to a label once a date has been reached. I have tried the WWI conditional output functionality but am experiencing issues.
The issue is the symbols I am wanting to use have different expansion times.
For example:
The property contains a CHAR30 phrase-related characteristic and a DATE FORMAT characteristic.
I only want to output the phrase if the current date the label is printed is the same or later than the date assigned in the property.
When I try to create the conditional output:

On checking the template, I get the message 'Repeating group IF 100: Different expansion times for condition symbols'
SAP Help does tell me that:
· If you enter a number of symbols in the condition, these must all have the same expansion time. If you require a conditional output that is dependent on symbols with different expansion times, you have to nest a number of conditional outputs.
Does anyone know how I can achieve this?

I will try that as the date is unlikely to be changed (unless incorrect), and it is exactly what we are wanting to achieve, only output the Grant number when printing the label if the expiry date has not been reached.
Example of data held in SAP:

Grant number only output until expiry date reached (ie earlier or same date, not later as I put in my question!)

i have copied an existing output type ZOCT to ZORD . when i change the sales order the output is automatically triggered but is not processed successfully instead it is in red. when i see the processing log i could see the error below.

green Output type: UK Sales Order
green Processing log for program RSNASTED routine ALE_PROCESSING
   RED   No partner profiles (message control) maintained
I tried adding communication data in VV11 but i get the below error.
No communication data has been defined for transmission medium A
Message no. VK603.
I am using ordrsp and orders05 in partner profiles and in message control tab i am giving
V1 ZORD SD10 values.
Please suggest me to correct these errors. Your help is much appreciated.Thanks.

Thanks a lot for your inputs. I have debugged the program rsnasted at routines and in EDP12 there were repeated entries .
So i deleted all the partner profiles and created and generated them agian.
I have also missed to maintain SP partner function in output type partner functions. I do not see any errors now.

The phone has been updated. Now insists on 'restore'. This will lose all the contacts. Help!

The phone has been abroad for 4 months using a local sim card. Now home, it has been 'updated' from itunes and now insists on 'Restore'. This will delete all contacts. Backup unavailable, the screen shows only the sign to plug in to itunes. Have tried turning off and on. Same.

Although contacts are included with your iPhone's backup along with a significant amount of other data which is updated by iTunes as the first step during the iTunes sync process, contacts are designed to be synced with a supported address book application on your computer. Not a good idea to depend on your iPhone and your iPhone's backup or on any cell phone along for your contacts, which can be lost or stolen, or suffer hardware damage from being dropped in water or liquid, etc.
How do your know your iPhone's backup is unavailable?

I have an onWorkflowActivated, followed by an ifElse condition and a log to history.
In the IfElse, each branch has a code segment, that trys to update the status column in the list that the workflow is attached to.

you can do the following:
add the following code to the workflow.xml file (under the MetaData section)

then add 2 SetState activities one in each branch of the IfElse.
