Request Closure E-Mail

Hi Champs,
Currently i am using variable %Provisioning% in Request Closure Mesage text through which user is getting Request Closure e-mail with User ID, Password and assigned Role Details incase of New user and Assigned Role details in case of Change user in GRC 10.
I am looking for the solution if there is any option by which we can remove assigned Role details from Request Closure e-mail.
If i am removing variable %Provisioning% from Request Closure message text, it will not send SAP ID and password also which is very much required for new users.
Please help if you have any idea on this.
Thanks,
Ram

Dear Ram,
Unfortunately, I cannot provide you a solution how to do. There is a document which describes how you can define the variable without passwords.
Note 1633068: http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1633068
My approach would be to define a new variable and remove the string from %PROVISIONING_WITHOUT_PASSWORD% from %PROVISIONING*. What remains should be the user and password.
Hope this gives you a starting point and some idea.
Regards,
Alessandro

    Hi
You need to setup a workflow for Transport requests. The mail can be sent to Business workplace(t-code SBWP)  inbox or sent to exchange server for a internet email. Go to SE09 and click on Transport Proposal Tab which is right next to Global Information Tab. You can read the SAP HELP there to activate this mechanism.

  • Repeating request for e-mail password

Using Apple Mail with a verizon e-dress (and also an alias), I get several requests a day to enter my password.  I do it and I click 'remember the password' but within an hour or two I get the same message popping up.
Why and what can I do to stop it?

Thank you, Barry. Yes, I have passwords entered for both the root Verizon address and for the alias address.  However ... I note that the two passwords are of different lengths.  I am no longer 100% certain exactly what they are!  I would like to be able to read my own passwords there but I see no way of doing so in Mail>preferences>accounts>account information.  Is there a way to change the ***** to actual characters?
Also ... in the outgoing mail server drop down box... Yes, both drop downs have passwords filled in (again, they are different lengths and I'd like to be able to see exactly what they are...I presume the same as the others).  BUT there is one difference between the Verizon root address (SSL is not checked) and the alias (SSL is checked).
A friend helped me set this up so I'm not sure why it is that way.
To change the ………, just type in whatever password you wish.  I do not know of a way to "read" the periods.
I do not use SSL, so I do not know how that behaves.

At one point I added "us.mydomain.com" as an alias to the domain "mydomain.com" but it has since been removed. I am unsure where Convergence is pulling this information from. At one point I added "us.mydomain.com" as an alias to the domain "mydomain.com" but it has since been removed. I am unsure where Convergence is pulling this information from. Convergence determines the default domain from the URL that you used to connect e.g. if you used "http://myserver.us.mydomain.com/iwc" it sets the default domain to "us.mydomain.com"
    http://wikis.sun.com/display/CommSuite/Sun+Convergence+Administrative+Tasks#SunConvergenceAdministrativeTasks-HowdoIcustomizetheLoginpagebasedonthedomainnameintheURLtoaccesstheConvergenceclient%3F
Rather then use the default domain for the proxy administrator, you can hard-code the domain e.g.
    ./iwcadmin -w <password> -o mail.proxyadminid -v [email protected]
./iwcadmin -w <password> -o cal.proxyadminid -v [email protected] need to restart the application-server domain hosting Convergence for the changes to become active.

  • Room Mailbox - When creating a meeting request, the Room Mail Box Alias message returns with Delivery Failure

    Good Day,
Hopefully someone here has the know why on this one.
I have setup the Room Mailbox as per several online tutorials. From my Outlook 2013 I can access the room and its calendar.
But when I create a new meeting request, I add myself as an Attendee for testing purposes. When I select the room from the rooms button. It adds the room mailbox [email protected] to the attendee list.
When I click send, the alias address returns as below:

I have rebooted the server and tried various permissions and option settings in Outlook with no luck. I even tried enabling the user account in AD. Nothing works and the email always comes back undeliverable.
One post I read suggested that In the Resource General tab that Enable the Resource booking attendant be ticked. Either way it doesn't get right of the problem.

  • How can I customize a "please unsubscribe" request to mass mailing recipients

I am sending out mass mailings.
I want to make it easy for the recipients to unsubscribe to my mailings.
How can I include a simple one-click customized "please unsubscribe" in the email?

Add a link to your message by Ctrl-L (Insert/Link), type "please unsubscribe" in the Link Text box, and then mailto:[email protected]?subject=textstring, where textstring can be something like "Unsubscribe request", in the Link Location box. Recipients who click on the link will launch a message to you with "Unsubscribe request" as the Subject.

  • Where to submit a feature request concerning an application (Mail) that doesn't appear in the feedback section?

    Hello.
I (and I suppose many others) have a very, very obvious and needed feature to request about Mail.app. As far as I understand, usually such requests go into the feedback section (http://www.apple.com/feedback/). But while even iCal appears on that page, Mail.app doesn't—a fact as bizarre and incomprehensible as the lack of the feature to request. (Namely: Mail allows to set rules for outgoing messages, but it doesn't execute them (obviously a coding error, one that persists since the very first version of Mail. If Mail isn't supposed to allow rules concerning outgoing messages, then it's a mistake to make setting such rules possible; but can anyone think of a sensible reason to disallow such rules?). This is very, very annoying, and it's equally annoying that apple fails to include this application into the feedback page. It's almost like they don't want us to use it.)
Well. Anybody any idea how to get this through to them?
    Thanks.

You can submit feedback for the application to the operating system feedback as a start, that is, submit to the Mac OS X that you are using.
One does wonder why there is not a separate category for something as heavily used as mail, but...

And one more question is can we create a spool request for a report which is running in online.

    Hello,
As per my knowledge for creating new spool id you will have to set
    output_options-tdnewid = 'X'.
    and then using
    job_output_info-spoolids
    create a pdf using
    call function 'CONVERT_OTFSPOOLJOB_2_PDF'

  • How can I set up another email client to send mail as my dotmac account?

My business uses an online application that can send emails to our customers as long as we provide it with an email account. I used the following from my mail.app:
    SMTP HOST: smtp.mac.com
    SMTP PORT: 25
    SMTP_AUTH: true
SMTP USER: cryogen (my dotmac account and email)
SMTP PSWD: ****** (my dotmac password)
But, I cannot seem to get this to work. I tried it with another account I have with COMCAST.NET and I was able to successfully send emails using that account.
Is there something special about a dotmac account that I am missing?
    Thanks.
    PowerMac G4 MDD   Mac OS X (10.4.8)

The information you’ve provided now is what I was asking for. Unfortunately, it’s still insufficient. It’s critical to know here whether the SMTP server does actually accept or reject the request of the mail client to send the message. Any conventional mail client would allow you to know that. In Mail, for example, you know that the message has been sent because Mail puts it in the Sent mailbox (whether the message arrives at the destination is an entirely different issue). And if the SMTP server rejects the message for some reason, Mail will report what the reason is.
Whether I’ve actually set up a different mail client to send with a .Mac account is irrelevant -- I don’t even have a .Mac account, for that matter, nor do I need one. Gee, if I needed to have the same accounts as the people I help, I couldn’t be here. Fortunately, I just need to know how email works and what the idiosyncrasies of some email services are, if any.
Try setting up your .Mac account using a conventional alternative mail client, such as Thunderbird, and you’ll see that you can do that with no problems -- or, if you have problems, it should be pretty clear what they are exactly and how to fix them.

  • ICal.app doesn't grab events/invitations from Mail.app

    Morning.
My colleagues are using MS Outlook and send me invitations. I receive their emails with ICS attachments. In iCal.app I've activated »Preferences > Advanced > Automatically request invitations from Mail.app«. (I use a German GUI, therefore I do not exactly the terminology on an English GUI.)
But iCal.app does not grab and display such invitations.
What's wrong? What can I do to solve this serious problem?
    TIA and kind regards, Friedrich

In fact the feed is at http://bongqiuqiu.blogspot.com/feeds/posts/default
The oldest post in the feed is November 10, and Mail is showing back as far as that - a total of 25 posts.
There may be older posts on the website, but many blog creation services limit the number of entries shown in the feed, moving older ones to an archive page and out of the page once that limit is reached. I don't know about Blogger, but I would assume that this is the case with this feed. You can expect the November 10 entry to disappear once a new one is added.

  • Make the e-Mail field on the contact form widget optional.

Hey there! While browsing the support forums I came upon this topic here, because I was having a similar issue.
Before developing the suggestion, here you have the website with the form, as we currently have it: http://awake-gaming.com/join-us.html
The form I inserted was not only a contact form, but also a joining form. When submitted, the website calls to Discourse's (the board software we use over at http://forums.awake-gaming.com/) API via an ajax code and so a Bot creates a thread with the information introduced in the forums.
Simply put: Submit -> Code calls to API -> Bot creates thread using the input parameters on the form.
So, what if we don't want the applicant to publish his e-mail? We didn't want the mail to be submitted at all, yet Muse didn't allow us to delete that field nor hide it. In our case "fixing" this hasn't been that much of a pain, as we simply deleted the event listener. But we know how to code. What about people who don't?
Quoting the staff answer on the topic I originally refer to: "Email is the unique identifier and required to create a customer record in the CRM in Business catalyst." But there are people who don't use Catalyst at all. Or am I wrong? Is my site (awake-gaming.com) related to Catalyst at all? I understand it might be necessary for websites hosted on catalyst, but in cases like ours?
That's why I'm requesting the e-mail field on the form to be optional.
Hope you had a good read, and thank you for sticking until the end
PS. Opinions about the AWAKE website design are greatly appreciated.

    This will be very helpful.

  • Send mail using Internal Mail server doesn't work

I can't send mail using my companies mail server, which requires authentication and port 587 to send.  We have a valid, non self-signed SSL certificate so that is not the issue.  I can send mail using Bell's mail server but that violates our regulatory compliance obligations.
The server using POP3 and one must login to get mail as well as send.  Unfortunately there is no otehr error message than the: error sending "mail subject".  No further details are provided and when we check the mail servers logs its clear the Pre isn't even attempting to connect to the mail server.  So the request to send mail isn't even being sent out.  That could be an issue with the Pre or with Bell but Bell support will only troubleshoot to the point of fidning out if you can send using their mail server.  We can so their support stops at that point.
I still have v1.3.1 of the WebOS as v1.3.5 doesn't seem to be out for the Bell Pre's yet.  But from what I've read v1.3.5 is even worse at handling mail not better.  However, there may be a solution out there to this beyond sending the Pre's back (I doubt we can) as Balckberry's and iPhone's don't have this issue.
    Any advice is greatly appreciated.
Post relates to: Pre p100eww (Bell)

Further update on this problem.  It does send if I use TLS instead of SSL so that must mean that the Palm Pre doesn't use SSLv3 or higher.  As TLS is a viable security setting option to maintain compliance I can use that.  But still Plam should seriously consider upgrading tis SSL versioning.
