I need to know what is the lastest version of the Flash
Player will run
under Win 95?
Thanks!

I don't believe it's as much OS as browser dependent.
Check the browser support list, what versions where running
or bundled with what kind of players:

This is a known problem with Internet Explorer 11, which Microsoft has been aware of since October 18 when they released their latest "untested" browser. The pages can't recognize the browser, so they don't recognize any of the plugins, like Flash Player. So far, Microsoft has made NO indication that they have any plan to fix it soon.
Microsoft's recommendation is to use Compatibility View for affected pages, and "pretend" you're using an different browser. Trouble with that is it has seen limited success at best, and you have to individually enable it for EVERY page that has problems.
I'm not big on "pretending" so I recommend actually using another browser.
Firefox (from Mozilla)
Opera (from Opera)
Safari (from Apple)
Chrome (from Google)
ANY of those will work where IE11 won't, with the Flash Player Plug-in (For all other browsers), and Chrome doesn't even need that because it has its own Flash Player plugin built in.

• In recent weeks many websites show "blocked plug-in". Clicking onto it reveals a notice that my Adobe Flash Player needs updating but I'm not able to do it because Step 3 of the update has "blocked plug-in" in it.

In recent weeks many websites on my OS X (10.6.8) have been showing a white patch with "blocked plug-in" on it preventing access to all of the site. When I
click onto it a message appears stating that my Adobe Flash Player needs updating and when I have downloaded the upgrade & moved to Step 3 I get
a "blocked plug in" on it as well. How do I resolve this issue?
Archeee

When you have installed the latest version of Flash, relaunch Safari and test.
If you're getting a "blocked plug-in" error, then in System Preferences… ▹ Flash Player ▹ Advanced
click Check Now. Quit and relaunch your browser.
You can also try these illustrated instructions from C F McBlob to perform a full "clean install", which will resolve the "Blocked Plug-in" message when trying to update via the GUI updater from Adobe.
Use the FULL installer for 12.0.0.44: Flash Player 12 (Mac OS X)
And the instructons are here: Snow Leopard Clean Install.pdf

• Acrobat Help / Flash Player needed link not working

I'm trying to install the flash player addon for Adobe Reader and the links found on the adobe help page are showing error messages. When I try to download the installer, they say "no file found" and are showing
"Not Found
The requested URL /pub/flashplayer/current/support/install_flash_player_ax.exe was not found on this server."
when the link is opened. Any advice? I just need to view an audio file that was embedded in a .pdf.
My computer meets the system requirements, as well.
Thanks.

• Macro Flash Player needed for ABC videos?

The ABC TV website is saying that to watch video streams
online of their shows I need to download Macromedia Flash Player.
We already have Flash Player 9 ActiveX. I can't find Macromedia
Flash Player on the Adobe website as ABC requests, even follwing
their link to Adobe. Also, do I need to purchase this? I assumed
something like that would be a free download.
Thanks a ton.

Adobe has not made a version of Flash for the iPad.

• I hv installed latest version of Adobe Flash Player even then when I am not able to run Video and getting messgae "Latest Version of Flash Player needed"

I was successfuly running videos on Mozila Fire Fox but from 2/3 days when i click video i am getting message (copied and pasted here)
Flash Player upgrade required
You must download and install the latest version of Adobe Flash Player to view this content.
Even I hd already installed latest version of Adobe Flash Player

Adobe Shockwave for Director Netscape plug-in, version 11.6.1.629 is not Flash.
There are two different versions of Flash, the '''''ActiveX''''' version for IE and the '''Plugin''' version used by most other browsers.
1.Download the Flash Plugin version setup file from here:
[http://fpdownload.adobe.com/get/flashplayer/current/install_flash_player.exe Adobe Flash - Plugin version].
Save it to your Desktop.
2. Close Firefox using File > Exit
then check the Task Manager > Processes tab to make sure '''firefox.exe''' is closed,
{XP: Ctrl+Alt+Del, Vista: Shift+Ctrl+ESC = Processes tab}
3. Then run the Flash setup file from your Desktop.
4. Start Firefox and test your installation here: https://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/
* On Vista and Windows 7 you may need to run the plugin installer as Administrator by starting the installer via the right-click context menu if you do not get an UAC prompt to ask for permission to continue (i.e nothing seems to happen).
• Keep getting message from sites that Adobe Flash Player needs to be installed

I have a MacBook, OSX 10.7.5. When I try to download a document, I am told that I need Adobe Flash Player and that I should download it.
When I look on the Adobe website, to check something, I see that the newest version of Flash Player is installed on my computer. As a second choice, I was given, I could download Adobe Air, but that didn't work either.
I have no idea what I need to do to be able to get this information downloaded.
I'm not sure if this is the correct community of whom to ask this question.
Thanks for your help.

• Latest Flash Player needs to loaded everytime a file requires it!!!

Updated to Flash Player 11-15 (whatever it is) at least a dozen times and everytime I need to access a file that requires Flash Player to open, it automatically links to the DOWNLOAD button for FP!!!! This is ridiculous as I have done at least a dozen times in past 3 days. Although I occasionally use Chrome, I have been primarily using IE for browsing. Don't recall in past 25 years ever having a problem downloading an Adobe program. Tks

Can you try clearing your browser and Flash player cache to see if this resolves the problem?
How do I clear my Flash Player cache and settings?

• Flash player needs updating.

I have just installed IE10. However i try to run video and it advises i need to update flash player. I go to adobe, update flash player and advised successfully installed. I try to run video again and get the same message. I uninstalled previous versions and reported. Still get same error message but installation always successful! I am using windows 7 on 32/64bit. system upto date. I had the same fault with IE 9 but i kept uninstalling and going back to IE8. However a little fed up with doing this.
Any ideas????

I suspect you have Flash Player installed properly and something else is failing. When you go to this page, do you see the following?
http://www.bobbyvandersluis.com/swfobject/testsuite_2_2/test_dynamic_multiple.html
What version is reported when you go to this page?
Flash Player Version

• Flash player needed

Mini iPads do not support Adobe Flash Player I therefore need an alternative please.

Didn't Steve Jobs claim the death of Flash 7 years ago? Why are people still needing it? Was Steve jobs wrong
I know when I bought my first iPhone I was told I wouldn't need Flash support, that the web was killing it off and no one would use it in a few months and to not worry about not having it... 7 years though? I'd just by a new device, that original iPhone 3 must be getting old by now waiting on flash to go away.
And if you have a new device, that doesnt support flash, and you need support, then it's your fault. Every Android even the GS4 and GN3 support flash.

• Flash Player needs be reinstalled every time Opera is booted.

Every time I boot Opera, and when Flash Player is requested, a notice is shown telling me that the program is not on my computer, regardless of how many times I have already reinstalled it. This has been a consistient problem for a year now, but I've ignored in the past. This occurs with Opera 32 and 64 bit. Help would be much appreciated.

Can you try installing Flash Player from the following installer?
http://download.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/current/install_flash_player_64bit.exe
In addition you might want to type in "opera:plugins" into the address bar to verify that plugins are enabled and look for the "Shockwave Flash" entry and verify it too is enabled.
