Considering some of the problems that people have had in trading in their qualifying working tablets not in Best Buy's trade-in system for a minimum $50 Best Buy Gift Card during the ending Surface 3 promotion... would it be possible for Admin BBY to post a new sticky message for the new promo starting today for trading in any non Nook/ereader tablet without screen/water damage that turns on for a $50 gift card and coupon for $50 off the Samsung Galaxy Tab S? It would be valuable to know if any of the terms of the trade-in have changed, and to head off questions about the inability to use more than one coupon per tablet purchase before you are inundated with complaints..
Thanks in advance! Nothing gets me into a brick and mortar store more assuredly than the promise of a discount off a coveted new piece of technology!

It’s definitely concerning when customers are experiencing disappointments with one of our promotions and I can certainly understand your desire to see something posted on our community to help head off any future issues.
The stores are provided with all the information that they need to process these promotions correctly and hopefully, we have also learned from any past mistakes as well when putting them together. Right now, you can find all the details of the Samsung Tab 3 trade-in promotion here. From what I can see, it seems to cover all the details of the promotion very well, including stating that only one coupon can be used per transaction.
Otherwise, as far as I can tell, the promotion is identical to the Surface 3 promotion, with the caveat that the trade-in must be used towards the purchase of a Samsung Galaxy Tab S.

Device Configuration for Samsung Galaxy Tab?

Longtime Flex/AIR developer here, but first time developing for Android.
Want to build for Samsung Galaxy Tab. In Flash Builder Burrito, when creating a Run Configuration, there's a list of devices to target. But the Galaxy Tab isn't one of them. Which one should I use? Or do I just create one and enter the right dimensions etc? Is there any information associated with those device configurations besides the pixel dimensions and pixels per inch?

Try the nearest match in terms of resolution. Also if you design your controls with relative size (%age based or relative to a fixed initial size), it shouldn't be a problem on device. Having the same issue, called B&N, have spent many hours and still no resolution. As a work-around, I downloaded bluefire reader on my nook. Then I used dropbox to take the book that I borrowed from the library and open in bluefire reader on my nook and that worked (still cannot see it in my nook library, but at least I can read the book).

Today I downloaded a new version of Kies, 3.1.0.15042_6, and it seemed to work fine. I was able to backup my Note 3 running Lollipop with no hesitation. Files transferred to my Mac running Yosemite, OS X 10.10.3, easily. The download is available at http://www.samsung.com/us/kies/

I am in the market to purchase a Samsung Galaxy S 10.5 Tablet. Samsung has told me that to be able to print from the tablet, I need to install an app recommended by HP. I do not know where to go to find out if an app is available to make the printing from this tablet to my printer (HP Officejet Pro 8500) is available. I do not want to purchase a tablet that I can not print from. Any help will be appreciated. Thank you.

Welcome to the HP Support Forums. I see that you would like to know if there is an app to print from your Samsung mobile device to your Officejet Pro 8500 A909a printer.
Your printer supports printing using the HP ePrint mobile app when the printer and the table are both connected to the same wireless network. I have included the HP ePrint Mobile App FAQ document for reference. Please note that the HP ePrint app does require the mobile device being running Android 4.0 and up, the attached document has not been updated to reflect that recent change.

How do I stop Firefox for Android from popping up the on-screen keyboard when loading a page with a search box on my Samsung Galaxy Tab 2?

When I go to certain sites on the web which have search boxes, Firefox will pop up the onscreen keyboard as the page load completes, without me doing anything to focus the search box. It's annoying to have to tell the keyboard to go away each time before I can navigate in the page.
I specified the device I am using (Galaxy Tab 2 7 inch) because it uses a nonstandard keyboard applet, called simply the Samsung Keyboard, which could be doing something different than the regular Android one. I don't have the option of switching to the stock Android keyboard.

That won't help iamjayakumars. That pref blocks popup windows on load. The keyboard is not a popup window.
This behavior happens because the website sets focus to a text box on the page. Firefox is following the standard behavior for desktop browsers.

I'm looking for an app that makes my nokia n8 a hotspot for my Samsung galaxy 10.1 tab to have wifi. I bought joikuspot premium but find out it does not work with androids ... Is there another app in the ovi store that can be used to connect to androids?

Apparently this time the problem is not with JoikuSpot but with Android. You will find that hot-spot created by JoikuSpot is detected by all other devices except for Androids, it turns out that Androids don't connect to Ad-hoc networks.
Theres a way around by modifying a file on your Android device where by it will be able to detect Ad-hoc networks with a limitation of only Un-secured networks.
So again since you have JoikuSpot premium you will have to broadcast in only un-secured format.
Search on net for procedure of modifying the file.
Using Nokia Lumia 1320.
Also have Nokia E72 & Nokia N8.

How do I get Firefox for Android to recognize the built in camera on my Samsung Galaxy Tab 7plus running 4.0.4?

The new Firefox works great on my Galaxy Pad, but does not recognize the built in camera allowing me to upload videos to the web. I do not have that problem with Dolphin.
When I go to a website that allows me to upload videos and click on record, Firefox states that I do not have a webcam connected. The Galaxy Tab 7Plus has two cameras, one facing each direction. I do not have this problem with other browsers.
Everything else is exemplary.

The native Android Youtube player does a much better job of handing video playback than embeded flash in a browser.

Printer Prints fine for Admin Account, but not for "Regular" User Account.

Printer works perfectly when signed on as Administrator, but not when we use non-admin login. I can see the printer - it says ready, but it won't print.. although job does not sit in printer queue.
I did a full driver install FROM the local account, using "Run as" - but it can't find the printer. I did a Full Driver Install from the Admin account, with no change to the non- admin account. Any help would be most appreciated.

I understand you can print when printing form an admin account, but otherwise can not. I would be happy to help you with this.
If you are running Norton Antivirus, go into the Control Panel and click on Printers & Faxes, then right click on the Printer and select Properties. In the Properties, click on the Advanced tab., and set it to Print Direct to Printer instead of using the Print Spooler. I think there is something in Norton that prevents the Limited Users account from accessing the Print Spooler.
