I have been using the tungsten T3 for years. Most recently I am switching over to a newer computer that has Windows 7 Home Premium, 64-bit. I am no longer able to connect. I received an error message saying, "the connection between your handheld computer and the desktop could not be established. Please check your setup and try again." The version of the Palm desktop that I have installed is 4.1.2. Thank you for your recommendations.

Recovery disks for my HP Pavilion DV 9500 Windows Vista home premium

Does anyone know where I can find recovery disks for my HP Pavilion DV 9500 Windows Vista home premium?? According to HP, disk pn is 446537-004.

Excuse me for not understanding the solution so well....
So I need to purchase an OS for my computer - like windows 7 ??
And I need to download drivers from hp.com - there is a long list of drivers and they are dependent on the operating system - which ones do i need (all??) and supposedly I need to get a new operating system first??
Could I try to just reload drivers before purchasing a new OS - is that possible ?? maybe it is a driver problem and not an OS problem ?? If this is possible, how do I determine which drivers to download and what order to try to install them??

Looking for Upgrade Disk: 32bit, Vista to Windows 7 Home Premium

Computer novice here. Accidently ordered x64bit and need the x32.
Best case scenario:
Anyone in the Cumming GA area who could let me borrow their upgrade disc?
Spoke to Lenovo help and they said can't send me the correct disk becuse the upgrade program has ended. OK to use someone elses upgrade disc though as it's based on the serial number (?) in computer.
2nd best case scenario:
Would someone be willing to mail me the disc to borrow?

Ok, I tried this and it said I needed to download and install Nvidia graphics driver version 309.08, I downloaded and installed this version just fine. I done option 2 again and now it says download and install version 353.30. I download this version but got an error when I tried to install it that says THIS GRAPHICS DRIVER COULD NOT FIND COMPATIBLE GRAPHICS HARDWARE. Do you know what I should do now to fix this?

I can help you with this issue.
The Windows 7 drivers are preinstalled Windows drivers. Unfortunately there isn't a Full Software driver to download.
I have provided a download the for the HP Toolbox that will work with Windows 7, which provides status and maintenance information about the printer. HP Toolbox. You may check it out.

Scanner for Toshiba 18.5" laptop running Windows 7 Home Premium 64 -bit

I bought an HP Officejet 6500 at the suggestion of people far more savvy than I in the world of technology, but unfortunatly I can't locate any drivers that will install with a 64-bit. I've tried everything, and I've given up on that.
All I want is a plain old scanner that works with Windows 7 64-bit without having the hassle of finding drivers for it. Even Best Buy Geek Squad can't help. So here I am -- anybody have any advice?
If you think I'm more than a bit tech challenged, you would be right so any advice has to be in very basic terminology.

you have to download this driver at the link above and start your computer off with F5 then F8 and safe mode with network administrator to install the driver as a solution to problems with windows 7 and reboot your computer normally. And work.

Why has windows vista home premium disappeared from my computer

I have an hp a6511.uk which I have had for 4 years, it came with windows vista home premium, I did download service pack 2 last year. 2 days ago a window appeared on my screen asking me to activate windows as the copy I had was illegal. I duly entered the correct product key. it was confirmed that my windows was now legal but since all I have is a blank screen. I cannot find microsoft works or anything to do with vista, windows defender will not download, The initial screen comes on as usual & I have my usual shortcuts on screen but that is all. I have tried all forms of recovery but to no avail I feel my only solution is to install the back up cd I made when I first had the computer but I am afraid I may lose some of the software I have installed, has anyone had a similar experience, I have bullguard security.

Hi there Student. I also use Vista on my HP touchsmart PC at home. I checked into the Microsoft forum to find some info about the "disappearing nature of your Vista Home premium" iCons and solutions. If you google your problem statement, you'll see that this is not a new phenomonon. Microsoft forum also has a paper with some fixit tools. Where does moving ever get started? Why does Move extend Thread instead of implementing Runnable? (Implementing runnable is preferred and often the correct way to do it and it is in this case)
But regardless there shoud be a moving.start() somewhere or start of the Thread that has the Runnable target Move.... I don't think I see one. Unless I missed it.
so...itll work if i change the setup to Runnable?

How can I get iTunes to answer my requests for help?

I have tried for a few days now to get iTunes to help me get some tunes that partially downloaded. Their initial response seemed to work but the next day the tunes were only partially on my PC. I re-installed the software, called the phone number on my PayPal receipt, sent another e-mail request for help, responded to their follow up e-mail a few days ago asking if my issue was resolved.........and STILL cannot get them to help me resolve. They say I should receive a response within 24 hours, and it has been longer. No phone number to call, the initial instructions to re-download the missing tunes were confusing

I'm looking for some help connecting linksys IP Cameras to my home network to monitor my property when I'm travelling. I used to do this with linksys WAPS, but since I've discarded all my old linksys networking and standardized on airport, I can't get these things working. I know that I have to identify my camera through the DHCP table and set up port forwarding and there is the problem.
My network consists of 4 base stations set up in a roaming network - same network name and passwords. I need to do it this way so I don't have to switch network when I move from one side of the house to the other, go to the cabana, or my shop in the barn. The network works pretty well since I went to a roaming set up. Good performance, yata, yata, yata.
However, the roaming network requires the AEBS's to be set up in bridge mode, rather than sharing an ip address. When the AEBS is set to bridge mode, you don't see a DCHP table or have the ability to identify your IP Cam through the AEBS - and hence, no port forwarding.
I am able to identify and set up my Linksys IP Cam by locating the ip address on my FIOS router, even though, it's plugged into an AEBS. I set it up, see the video, remove the ethernet cable from the IP Cam, restart - and I can't get to it from an AEBS. In researching this, it appears, I should be setting up the AEBS to "share an IP Address", going to the DHCP table and identifying the camera's IP address and setting up port forwarding. However, you don't see any of the DHCP or port forwarding options in Airport Network Utility when configuring in bridge mode.
I'm hoping I'm missing something here and that the solution isn't to set it up at the FIOS router level, but I'm beginning to think that's my only hope. What concerns me there is that I should be able to see the IP cam on the network without port forwarding since I'm not coming from outside, and I can't even do this unless it's connected hard wire.
I'd appreciate any insight into this that anyone might have. I've hit the wall with what I know.

In a roaming network, your "main" router is the device that would require port mapping/forwarding to be configured in order to access the IP camera from the Internet. This router is also the one that would be provide the private IP address for the camera which you will want to be a static one.
So as you described your network, the IP cameras should be getting an IP address or you assigned it a static one and this is the address that you would enter in the Private IP address (or equivalent depending on the router used) field when setting up port mapping.
If you are not able to access this camera from the local network, then this should be troubleshot first.
