  • How do I request a refund for Itunes Match?

I purchased Itunes Match, within 12 hours I wanted a refund. All of my music started to have wrong album art. I would play a song, but a completely different song started playing. In order to fix it, I had to delete all of my music and load from a backup, restore my iphone, etc... Needlesstosay, frusterated... I think Itunes Match will someday be a great product, but until that day. I am fine with manually syncing.
I tried clicking on "Report a Problem" in my Itunes account, but it only takes me to a help guide on Apple's website. I cannot figure out how to request a refund for this. I feel like I paid Apple $25 to screw up my music.
    Any help is appreciated!

It's NOT in beta any longer. I was a dev using it in beta and it was actually a better service then.
I used Match all summer long and bragged to my friends about how awesome this was going to be.
I paid for my subscription during the beta. I loved it.
Then this. My friends now think I'm insane.
I tell you, if there was ever an instance where my non-Apple friends thought I was hyping something JUST because it was Apple, this was that time.
They are all on Google Music now, listening to their music on their phones, and I'm still locked out of my f*cking account because my son accidentally logged me off while Match was connected.
So I'm stuck for 90 days not being able to use a service I've already paid for.
    This isn't a beta. This is a cluster f*ck.

  • HT1491 If I purchase one song from an albumn in iTunes, but later want to purchase the entire albumn, does iTunes give credit for the single song purchased, or will I be charged once for the single song, and then the regular full price for the albumn?

If I purchase one song from an albumn in iTunes, but later want to purchase the entire albumn, does iTunes give credit for the single song purchased, or will I be charged once for the single song, and then the regular full price for the albumn?

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities
You'll purchase the rest of the album, so you'll pay the same as the cost of the album but without the cost of the previously purchased song

  • HT4009 I can't seem to find a place to request a refund for app purchased from the iTunes store.  Can anyone help?

I downloaded an app and tried to make an in-app purchase.  When I did so, the app said it could not finish the transaction, but it didn't say why.  However, I got a statement from iTunes and see that I have been charged for the in-app purchase for the service, even though the app itself still says I have not subscribed.  Does anyone know how I get a refund?
Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks.

Thanks!  I'll try it.  I didn't know you could just contact support.

I watched the first 11 minutes of a movie, paused and then when I tried to play again recieved the error - An error occurred loading this content. try again later.  No amount of retrying later fixed the problem.  I will not be able to finish watching the movie within the required 24hour window so would like to request a refund.  Can anyone provide any guidance on how I go about that?  Thanks.

  • Ask for refund for upgrading to lion, since lion always freezes at start up.

I want to know if I can get a refund for upgrading to lion. I have been really frustrated with this upgrade. Ever since the upgrade, I have not been able to start up normally. It always freezes at start up. I don't want to waste my time on fixing this issue any more.

No refunds that I know of.
    Downgrade Lion to Snow Leopard
    1.  Boot from your Snow Leopard Installer Disc. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue button.  When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the Utilities menu.
    2. After DU loads select your hard drive (this is the entry with the mfgr.'s ID and size) from the left side list. Note the SMART status of the drive in DU's status area.  If it does not say "Verified" then the drive is failing or has failed and will need replacing.  SMART info will not be reported  on external drives. Otherwise, click on the Partition tab in the DU main window.
    3. Under the Volume Scheme heading set the number of partitions from the drop down menu to one. Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Click on the Options button, set the partition scheme to GUID then click on the OK button. Click on the Partition button and wait until the process has completed.
    4. Quit DU and return to the installer. Install Snow Leopard.
This will erase the whole drive so be sure to backup your files if you don't have a backup already. If you have performed a TM backup using Lion be aware that you cannot restore from that backup in Snow Leopard (see below.) I suggest you make a separate backup using Carbon Copy Cloner 3.4.1.
If you have Snow Leopard Time Machine backups, do a full system restore per #14 in Time Machine - Frequently Asked Questions.  If you have subsequent backups from Lion, you can restore newer items selectively, via the "Star Wars" display, per #15 there, but be careful; some Snow Leopard apps may not work with the Lion files.
After seeing what you have to do to return to Snow Leopard you might rethink your position of not wanting to fix the problem you have with Lion which probably arose from existing problems with your Snow Leopard system. The fix is pretty easy. Back up your data, erase the drive, reinstall Lion, restore your files.
Install or Reinstall Lion from Scratch
If possible backup your files to an external drive or second internal drive.
    Boot to the Recovery HD:
Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
    Erase the hard drive:
Select Disk Utility from the main menu and click on the Continue button.
Otherwise, click on the Erase tab in the DU main window.
Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Click on the Erase button and wait until the process has completed.
Quit DU and return to the main menu.
Reinstall Lion: Select Reinstall Lion and click on the Install button.
Note: You can also re-download the Lion installer by opening the App Store application. Hold down the OPTION key and click on the Purchases icon in the toolbar. You should now see an active Install button to the right of your Lion purchase entry. There are situations in which this will not work. For example, if you are already booted into the Lion you originally purchased with your Apple ID or if an instance of the Lion installer is located anywhere on your computer.

  • Class action suite for refunds for failed Ovi down...

I tried to download Shazam using the Ovi app a month ago. The download failed with no explanation, but £4 was still charged to my phone bill. I have been trying to claim this amount back since then.
I have called customer care, used the "contact us" option on the Nokia site and written a letter. I have been promised the refund twice. I have spent over 5 hours on the phone to Nokia care, spread over about 5 phone calls. Time spent on hold has been about 4 and a half hours. What's very annoying is sales answers immediately, it's existing customers Nokia doesn't seem to care for. I made some of these calls from my office phone, and the rest used included minutes on my phone for, but if this had all been from my mobile, it would have been worth over £50 on O2's contract tariffs.
It seems Nokia has made claiming a refund prohibitively expensive and very, very difficult and time consuming, and if there are other people out there also waiting for refunds, I am considering looking into a class action suite if enough people are interested.

    tomvan wrote:
If Nokia does this to every customer, it's not just £4, is it? And anyway, it's not about the £4, it's about the fact that I can get thru to Nokia sales in about 5 seconds, but to request a refund has taken over 5 hours, and I still don't have the refund. It's not that the support is bad, it's simply not there, but they trick you into thinking someone who can help you will eventually answer your call. I din't phone them with a plan to set aside 5 hours for this, I didn't plan on wasting so much time, I phoned thinking they'd answer within a few minutes and give me my refund. Because of Nokia's terrible customer care, I've already wasted so much time, so why not waste some more to make a point and hopefully cost Nokia some money, seeing as they won't refund mine? And judging by the long waiting times, I'm not the only one with a problem.
And why would my contract provider refund me for Nokia's broken app store? it's not their fault. And yes, I did phone them and ask them if they could do anything, and as I suspected, the answer is no.
    Hello tomvan,
I am checking into the problem you have reported. I apologize for the inconvenience.
