You want to configure the timeout settings of the Internet Communication Manager (ICM) or the SAP Web Dispatcher. The SAP Web Application Server may issue HTTP timeout error messages. The error message displayed is "500 Connection timed out" if you have not defined your own dynamic ICM error pages. If the error occurs, you can use the note to help you with troubleshooting.

Reason and Prerequisites
You are using ICM Release 6.40 or higher for HTTP connections of the SAP Web AS. In other words, your kernel release is 6.40 or higher.
Up to and including Release 7.00, ICM is only used in systems which also have an ABAP stack, and not in J2EE-only systems.
You may also be using the SAP Web Dispatcher.

Feature requests for Edge Code (Was: Needed some options...)

I am a photo retoucher & I am new to web designing & started to learn....
I am very happy to have Edge code CC as a code editor really good program. Thanks to Adobe Team...
It would be better if you provide some more options :-
1. If I type <bl in the Edge code CC it shows me blockquote its fine, but if I press spacebar after <bl accidentally then I press backspace to erase the space but after that it does not shows the code hint....
2. I wrote code <h5> This is a headline </h5> and if I want to change h5 to h3, I have to change in both starting tag and end tag is there any option if I change the start tag it would automatically change in the end tag too....
3.It would be nice if the Edge code CC giving dummy text to add. for ex: lorem impsum like....

1. This should be fixed in the next Edge Code CC build. For now, use Ctrl-Space to re-invoke the hit list.
2. That feature has been requested. It should be easy to implement once Edge Code CC has multiple cursor support, which should be coming soon. Stay tuned.
3. There is an extension for this. Use File > Extension Manager, then click Install from URL... and paste in this URL:

Can't install beyond request for product code

I am sure it has been covered before but I do not find the answer. I am trying to load WinTen from .iso. Although instructions say we do not need a product code, I can not progress beyond the screen asking for one. If I leave it blank
I can not effect the <Next> key. If I insert anything, including the key for recovery, I am informed that the key does match. What now?

My reply is lengthy, I am afraid. Please bear with me.......
1. MS is holding a big event to day at 9a.m Pacific time. It is possible that a new build of Windows 10 TP is going to be released, or even a Consumer Preview.
So, you might want to find out what is being said in the event first.
2. You are right. product key is not needed when one installs the Windows 10 TP.
That said, here are the generic product keys for Enterprise version and non-Enterprise version.......

3. Permit me to start from scratch regarding installing Win 10 TP.

Help request for newbie code

So I've been trying to learn java and practicing with simple stuff first. I'm trying to create an application to calculate the price of a pizza. I've been having to problem with it, but I can't figure out why.
The first is that I am doing something wrong with GridBagLayout - the objects in the window aren't set up the way I think they should be. I've been experimenting with removing objects separately and I think the problem might lay with one of my borders. But I'm not sure. The border gets created like this:

     }The second problem I suspect is bigger because it feels like I've missed some major java concept. I've tried to set it up so that there is a JTextField in the window and when the user clicks the "Calculate" button, the price shows up in the text field. The way it is right now, when the user clicks the Calculate button, absolutely nothing happens. The code for what the buttons do is:

The second worry is with the double price, which I use to calculate the price based the size and toppings that are selected. To modify the textfield, my compiler tells me I can only use Strings, so I have converted the double to a string using the following code:

OT: Feature Request for collapsible code

I think it would be nice if you could collapse code in the code windows.

Another useful feature would be retaining, from one opening of the code panel to the next, the state twirled up/down of the symbol folders.
Now, by default every folder is twirled down. When the project grows, there are symbols with great number of handlers that are ok and could stay twirled up. It's not very user-friendly being obliged to twirl up again and again the same folders to go back to the piece of code we are currently finalizing.

Request for sample code, Validating XML Schema

Does anyone have some sample code to validate
an XML Schema with the Oracle parser?
Also, the classgen code seems to have more XML Schema classes in it. There is an xschema.jar full of XML Schema related code. Would it be possible to use this code?
I've tried DOMSample.java with the v2 parser. It seems to happily echo Schema based XML files that are obviously wrong. (I use Tibco's XML Authority to verify the XML file and XML Schema).

I do not have sample code but it is not a difficult API to call. I have worked on it before, so if you have a specific question on it, happy to help out if I can.

Usage of Company code field in the Change Request for Company

Hi,
Would like to know the usage of - Company code field in the UI for Change request for Company.
1. If a new Company is created, can i assign the company code directly in the UI, will the assignment also replicated to backend in this case?
2. In case of new Company creation, is it possible for multiple company code assignments?
3. Is it possible to to pick the existing Company from the F4 list in the CR and assign the company code in the CR? How about the replication work in this case?

Just to summarize and a bit more specific, here is my understanding:
1. (a). You have mentioned that we can assign new company code also - does this mean i can select            a company code which is not in the F4 list? In such case, how will be the assignment                   replicated? It should ideally create a company code in the backend before the assignment is           processed.
    (b). Usually, if a new company code is created in backend, i need to load that in to MDG tables                 such that it will be active in MDG F4 list, for Company assignments in the Change request.

3.      In the Change request, if i pick existing company from F4 values and edit company related data,          it will be replicated accordingly.
         In the same CR, if i give some value in the company code data, the replication will result in one          more assignment added to the company, so as on date, SAP has given the option of only                    additional assignments to the existing assignments.

After you press download, check your Launchpad. The icon will show up with what looks like a white dot where you'd expect to see a progress bar.
