[REQUEST] GOP/UEFI BIOS Update for MSI GTX 760 HAWK
Hello,

Is there a tutorial on how to flash the new BIOS?
Decompress the provided .rar archive with Winrar: http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm
Then flash the desired file included with Nvflash for dos: http://www.guru3d.com/files_details/nvflash_download.html
To do so rename the included file to .rom and create a dos bootstick (https://forum-en.msi.com/index.php?topic=165175.0)
Put nvflash and the vbios file on it and boot from the stick. Then type nvflash -4 -5 -6 gop.rom (if renamed vbios that way) and hit enter. Confirm the questions and let the tool flash.

Also, what is the difference between normal and ln2, or witch one is safe to use?
normal is the pre-overclocked default vbios. LN2 (which can be chosen via the selector switch on top of your card) is not factory overclocked but allows more extreme manual oc without the limits of normal vbios (more voltage and power draw allowed). This is especially needed for extreme oc like if using Liquid nitrogen (LN2) cooling for oc records. -

[REQUEST] GOP/UEFI Bios for N680GTX Twin Frozr 2GD5/OC
Hi Guys,
can somebody point me to an UEFI Bios please ? I cant enter Bios setup on my Windows 8.1 UEFI machine.
And why cant Liveupdate recognize my card and let me flash the Bios ?Quote
Its not provided on the photo, because its not provided on the card.
there is no such options, every VGA has such sticker for S/N for ID
seems your sticker is left on and lost somehow
Quote
Lets guess i can download the current ROM in dos with NVflash or with disabling the driver. Is the Information which vbios you in the file ?
no its different information but also can help to give you correct file
Quote
Will this show the information about S/N you need : nvflash /v >rep.txt ?
no its different information but also can help to give you correct file
Quote
Or can we stop here because we cant match the correct vbios without the sticker ?
current vbios can also helps to give you the right vbios -

REQUEST GOP / UEFI BIOS for MSI GTX 650ti
I have a MSI Z87-G43 Motherboard. I have just installed windows 8 in UEFI / gpt disk format and currently running on the Intel integrated graphics. I believe I will need an updated GOP/UEFI bios for my GTX 650ti graphics card.
Serial number is 602-V280-290B1307032672
I tried to include a link to my .rom file but it says "Sorry, you are not allowed to post external links"
I have not tried to install the graphics card yet and from what I have read, it probably will not work in the UEFI mode. Please provide detailed instructions on how to flash the card to get it running in my system.
Thanks,
Johnhere it is, attached below

[REQUEST] VBIOS / UEFI GOP R9 270X GAMING 2Gb ddr5 256bit
Hi,
I would like to request for a UEFI bios
S/N: 602-V305-03SB1403060068
Bios version: TV277MS.330
Thanks in advanceQuote from: Redjazz on 25-July-14, 16:56:14
Thanks folks!!!! Finally boots and is recognised in the ATI Catalyst.....You folks are lifesavers!!!
You're welcome!

Would this vbios I loaded have any impact as per previous comments with regards to legacy vbios and not GOP compliant???
The only difference between a GOP and legacy vbios is that the GOP one can be used for UEFI booting (with Fastboot) in Windows 8(.1) system. The legacy vbios just works in legacy mode. As your board doesn't support Win8 feature UEFI booting anyway that is fine for you. Older boards with a UEFI bios which is not GOP compliant (like your board) don't work with a vga using a UEFI vbios. Therefor the card failed with the first vbios I provided as that was a UEFI vbios. To make that clear: you can of course use Win8(.1) but just not in UEFI mode. To sum up there is no disadvantage for you.

What model is my card with regards to the information generated via my serial number??? so is it not a R9270x or is it??
No, your card is not a R9 270X. It is a R9 270, to be exact it is R9 270 GAMING 2G: http://www.msi.com/product/vga/R9_270_GAMING_2G.html#hero-overview -

Sometimes my graphic card showing artifacts in games or benchmarks and maybe UEFI/BIOS update will solve it.
Earlier I requested for it at this topic: _https://forum-en.msi.com/index.php?topic=251368.0

this number is useless and its not real vbios version
VBE7.0.0.7b showed me that number, then how could be useless...?Quote from: r4zen on 16-February-15, 19:37:31
Then please tell me why hash of my bios version does not match with this:

it's form the same card and You told it was latest (in Avelis topic), then how could mine be the latest version with differences hash, it can't be the same.
Quote from: r4zen on 18-February-15, 16:54:21
Right now i know that but if vbios .rom files have differences hashes, then those are different in some way, even if it are te same versions.
Maybe my vbios version is somehow corrupted or Avelis modified his vbios. That's why i'm asking which one is original?
i've checked this
yes indeed they have a different hash,
but neither is corrupted
Quote
That's why i'm asking which one is original?
no one of them and both of them in the same time
difference between them are in the padding fills method 00 instead FF,
but those are as addiction padding tail after the vbios image and has no matter.
in the matter of reliability they both are fine identical with original except the padding after vbios image which doesn't matter -
